BEST Wedding Reception
Twin Lakes was our reception location, and BOY was it amazing. Ashley was amazing, and helped coordinate everything. She helped my vision come to life, and the space is gorgeous. Also, AMAZING food. Some people called us the next day and were still talking about it. Beautiful location, awesome staff. Couldn’t have asked for a better night!Twin Lakes Golf Club's reply:
Amanda & Daniel - Thank you so much for your kind words, we are so happy that you had a beautiful night! -

Amazing Venue For Best Day Ever!
Got married here 5/27/23. Ashley and her staff made the day perfect! From the very beginning from the initial walk through to midnight day of, all communication was done in great timing, if I didnt understand something, she took as much time to help me understand. Lots of pictures and examples for any questions of possible add ons. Easy to work with. Day of, bar staff took care of us to help in bridal suite, guys took us to AMAZING areas for photos, wedding went off great and reception was even better! We were allowed to see up a few days early since no one was scheduled ahead of us, so that was super helpful with less stress day of. Bar staff had us taken care of allllll night, food was quite delish! Listened to all our concerns during tasting. We did plated dinner was nice not having to carry a plate or two or three back to our table. Chocolate heaven table was sooooooooooo good and a major hit! We used it as our "favor" since we were a little under our food/beverage minimum. So ended up as a win-win. My only complaint would be any "chocolate" that was left on the dessert table was not boxed up for us. But if that was my only complaint, it was a pretty perfect night. And shame on me for not making sure it was to be boxed up/make a goodie bag for myself for the next day. Again, super helpful. Gorgeous day. Felt honored they asked my photographer for some photos for their site! Thank you Ashley and staff for all your help and assistance that day!-

Twin Lakes was a great choice for our wedding venue. Manda was professional and helpful and we truly enjoyed working with her while planning our wedding. We had an afternoon wedding and the room was beautiful with all the windows overlooking the natural setting. The food was delicious and well presented. We would highly recommend Twin Lakes for any event.-

Tears of joy well up as I reflect on my amazing wedding day experience with Twin Lakes staff. From the initial meeting to the final goodbyes, I felt the passion they had for providing an excellent service. These girls work their butts off because they love it and it showed at the event. Everything went smooth on the wedding day and the guests loved their food. Jaclyn was so responsive in my emails which was important for me because we were living in Australia at the time. My wedding planner, Nikki Johns was also able to get a hold of Jaclyn and meet up with her on short notice if needed; if it weren't for those two girls, my wedding would have been a disaster. Even the planning process with Jaclyn was a breeze and Twin Lakes was so accommodating. For example, I wanted to have our first dance surrounded by sparklers outside at night- the staff was excited about this idea and helped us plan it (other venues would not have allowed music outside let alone sparklers). It was a dream! They were very accommodating with allergies and special meal requests and even remembered that I was allergic to champagne so filled my glass with sparkling water. Twin Lakes even provided golf carts to take us around the course for some pictures. The venue provided a beautiful backdrop for our pictures. Erin Schmidt captured it beautifully and knew of all the places to take us.
The morning of the wedding, the guys went and played golf there at a discount and they said the course was beautiful.
We couldn't have been happier and we're so thankful we chose Twin Lakes. It was worth every penny and if I could do it all over again, I would go back to Twin Lakes.

Twin Lakes was an amazing place to hold our wedding! Amber was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process - she was professional and organized, and simply a pleasure to work with. The day of event staff was extremely flexible to our needs and were responsive to changes (weather...) throughout the day. Could not have been happier! -

We had an excellent reception at Twin Lakes. When we were looking at venues, we loved the wall of windows looking out over the gazebo and the opportunity to take pictures out on the golf course. Our expected guest list was smaller at 140, so we were able to pay less for half the room. The staff was great in planning the wedding and the staff the day of provided great service. The set up was beautiful and everything ran smoothly. I would definitely recommend Twin Lakes as a reception venue for everyone. It was exactly what we wanted for our wedding! -

We are so happy that we chose this venue for our reception! Everyone loved the food and the service was very fast. The location was great for a Fall wedding because the big windows provided a great view of the trees. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. -

We had our daughter's wedding October 4, 2014 at Twin Lakes Golf Club. Amber was wonderful to work with as she was calm, friendly and very professional. Unfortunately, the weather was not good so we had to have the wedding inside but Amber handled it seamlessly. What could have been a difficult situation was turned into a beautiful ceremony and wedding reception with the help of Amber. Our food was great and the feed back from our guests was very positive. -

My wife and I were married at Twin Lakes Golf Club on May 24th. We originally had booked with a different venue, but due to extenuating circumstances, we had to find a new place. Thank goodness for that. While looking online I came across Twin Lakes and immediately made an appointment to see it in person. It was definitely more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Rebecca helped us every step of the way, from picking out appetizers and entrees, to figuring out seating arrangements. She was very easy to get in touch with and genuinely wanted us to have the perfect day.
Behind the reception area is a beautiful gazebo under which we were married. Even though it looks small, the area comfortably seated our 150 guests, with plenty of extra room for more. On the side of the building was a small patio area which was supposed to be used for our cocktail hour. It could very easily have held our guests, but due to the cold and wind in late May (I swear it was 60 degrees that day), they were very quickly able to move the cocktail hour inside without disruption. And inside the reception hall was absolutely stunning. The big open windows at the back of the hall made for wonderful natural light, and the very large open space gave us plenty of room for an oversized dance floor (which we needed due to our amazing band).
When booking at Twin Lakes, you are required to use their catering services for food and drinks. This is in no way an issue, as the food was excellent. We had multiple different appetizers and entrees, with a grilled cheese snack bar at the end of the night. Twin lakes has some very interesting add ons that you can include, some of which we added. In addition to the grilled cheese, we also had a margarita/daiquiri bar for our cocktail hour, and a late night cordials station with mini chocolate cups filled with liqueur.
All in all, Twin Lakes was a wonderful venue. We were definitely not disappointed. You won't be either. -

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at twin lakes. It was amazing, and everything we imagined. The food was delicious, the staff was courteous and professional. Rebecca (the coordinator) is so sweet, and super fun to work with. She really listens to what you are thinking and presents all options. Did I mention how good to food was? ;) I 100&% recommend this venue to others. It is gorgeous and perfect! -

Twin Lakes was the perfect place for our wedding! Rebecca at Twin Lakes was an amazing person to have assist us along the way. She was very knowledgeable about her venue but also about making reccomendations for other venders, and wedding related questions. Twin Lakes was a beautiful venue which I would reccomend to anyone looking for a wedding venue. The outdoor location was perfect for cocktail hour and the ballroom was just gorgeous. The kitchen switched over to new management after we booked with them and were amazed at how great our wedding food was. Everyone raved about the great food, amazing service and the beauitful location. We loved Twin Lakes and their staff.
Thanks Rebecca for everything :) -

Emily was professional as she reviewed all catering options, linen choices, and options for floor layout. Management was available throughout the reception and were focused on providing satisfaction to all guests. We were very impressed and highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. Prices were fair, and our actual bill matched all quotes we were given. We received prompt, polite and courteous communication throughout the reception planning process. -

We worked with Rebecca at Twin Lakes. She was very nice and accomodating, answered emails quickly. The night of the wedding everyone was so great to work with. Our manager (don't remember his name) was helpful with anything that we needed. Every detail was as we expected and the service was as well. We are so happy we went with them for the reception, our guests keep raving about how pretty everything was and how good the food was! -

Twin Lakes was a perfect pick for my husband and I. We looked at six or seven different venues in the area and were most satisfied with Twin Lakes. Originally, we picked it for the gorgeous grand ball room, the scenic ceremony and the price. Even though the price was higher than some of the other venues we looked at, none of them held a candle to the quality and elegance of Twin Lakes. In fact, many of the surrounding Golf course, Country Club type settings were anywhere from $15-25 more per plate. It wasn't until we got into the planning phases of the event that we realized what a great choice we made. The on-site coordinator, Rebecca, was a pleasure to work with - she made sure that all of our concerns were addressed including bringing in cider and donuts from a local cider miss for dessert. The day of the staff was professional, polite and helpful even though there was a snafu in timing from the ceremony to the reception begin time. At the planning you will almost always end up spending more than you originally planned, but I wouldn't have changed a thing about the selection I made when I chose Twin Lakes. -

I chose Twin Lakes partially for location and partially because they have a gorgeous facility. I had a Saturday morning wedding, but they worked with me like I was any other $20,000-reception bride despite my reception costing considerably less with off-prime discounts. The only mistake they made was using their gold chargers instead of silver - I can totally live with that. They were also great about providing a few specialty meals for my vegetarian guests. The room looked beautiful, the food was great, their service was good, and I would highly recommend them. -

Perfect is how I would describe our June 2016 wedding reception at Twin Lakes! After we attended a friend's wedding there a few years ago, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. My husband and I are golfers, so that was a requirement of our venue. Although there was a lot of turnover in staff, I never felt that I wasn't being taken care of. The staff was always professional and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The day of the wedding, we received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. If you can, I highly suggest the martini luge...our guests LOVED it! I couldn't have dreamed up a better venue for my wedding...it was perfect :) -

I LOVED our Reception Hall. Amber was so accommodating and easy to work with and our Reception turned out beautiful. It was prettier than I ever imagined, she worked with our Florist and put together the most stunning hall I have ever seen. The backdrop of the golf course was fantastic for pictures. The staff was personable, charming, and very good as well. The food was outstanding, I have since received a lot of complements about the food. -

Looking back on my wedding day, at Twin Lakes, I couldn't of asked for a more perfect venue to have it at. From the very moment we met Rebecca, I knew that all of our visions would be made into reality. She really made everything so seamless, and stress free. Loved her!! Food was amazing!! Usually at weddings serving Filet Mignon, I've had dry or very undercooked. These were moist, and juicy. Ate every bite of it! Thanks Twin Lakes for my fairy tale wedding! -

Couldn't be happier about having our wedding at Twin Lakes Golf & Swim Club. The reason we picked this venue was because of it's stunning outdoor ceremony location on the patio (I wanted an ourdoor ceremony and preferred booking one venue), and the beautiful indoor facilities for the reception (my husbands preference). This place was the perfect compromise for us, and everything went flawlessly. We worked with Rebecca, and were so impressed with her professionalism and responsiveness. We needed to do a lot of our communicating via email during off hours and that worked out perfectly. Twin Lakes was accomodating with our request to bring in ethnic food from an outside venue in addition to the food they provided. They made sure we were well cared for during the event, and wrapped up extra cake for us to take home. The staff at the event was professional and considerate, and made the event run perfectly. Can't say enough, except that it was worth the money we spent. -

I'm so happy that we found this golf club. It was the perfect place to have our wedding. The ceremony at the gazebo was gorgeous and even the reception hall was new, updated, and the windows brought in so much light and a great view. The wedding was so easy to plan with Rebecca's help. The food was great and the price was decent! The only problems we had were a few complaints from our guests about the staff, but overall couldn't have made a better decision for our venue. -

We chose Twin Lakes for a couple of reasons. 1) It was close to the location of the Church we were married in, 2) the location is absolutely beautiful and 3) the staff was willing to work with us to make our day perfect. The one negative was that they were a little pricey. -

We were very happy with Twin Lakes, and everything turned out perfectly! The food was exceptional, the venue is GORGEOUS, and although it was very expensive (more than any other place we checked into), we felt our wedding was beyond beautiful, and I think our guests noticed the extra effort Twin Lakes made. We would recommend them if you can afford it! We also had our ceremony there at the gazebo, and it was absolutely perfect! -

My wife and I were married at Twin Lakes in September 2013. This was the first venue we had looked at and we were immediately sold on the picturesque outdoor setting. For the most part, Rebecca was easy to work with and helped us along throughout the planning process. For banquet food, we thought the dinner was excellent, with the exception of the vegetarian option. As far as the rest of the ceremony and reception, there were a few items we were a bit disappointed with.
First, despite having sent Rebecca a breakdown of the number of guests on Twin lakes own form spreadsheet, they shorted the number of chairs for the outdoor ceremony by about 20. Of course, nobody realized this until we were ready to begin the ceremony and saw many of our guests standing. Twin Lakes did eventually bring out more chairs, but it delayed the start of our ceremony. This was, in our opinion, completely inexcusable and avoidable.
Second, at Rebecca's direction, we went to great efforts to mark the meal selections on the guest place cards using different colored dots, so the staff knew what meals to place at the tables. Nevertheless, nobody communicated this to the staff so they were completely clueless as to what meal the guests selected.
Finally, Twin Lakes adds gratuity into the total cost of the event based upon the number of guests, which we paid. Notwithstanding, the bartenders each placed tip jars on the bars, which was totally inappropriate and cheapened our wedding reception.
All in all, we have no regrets and felt that the atmosphere and quality of the food at Twin Lakes overcame the shortcomings of Rebecca and the staff. Based on that, we would recommend Twin Lakes to anyone searching for a wedding venue. -

This was the worst place ever. The food was awful and the service was terrible. They ran out of food . The wedding planner was unprofessional and dresses like a bum. The supervisor the night of my wedding was bossy and unprofessional. I had to ask for her a number of times, she was nowhere to be found. I thought this was going to be a great wedding but it was very disappointing. The bartenders put out a tip jar which is tacky and made crummy drinks. They are way overpriced and it was a bad experience. I'm telling all my friends to stay far away from twin lakes, it's way out in the middle of nowhere and they don't deliver on their promises -

DO NOT USE THIS VENUE. Things started off really nice. Then Amber, the wedding coordinator there, is no longer there. No fault of hers, I wish her the best in her career. What I do have a problem with is the lack of professionalism that this establishment has. They messed up the day of the wedding and do not even have the courtesy to reimburse me for the horrible experience they provided. Instead, they offer me a round of golf, after we invested all that money into the wedding. Here is what happened:
1. Day of the wedding the seating numbers were set up incorrectly by the staff that caused the Mother of the Bride to be seated in the back of the room, away from the head table and her daughter.
2. We had set up a memorial shot in honor of my wife's dad who passed away a couple of months earlier. We worked it out with the coordinator that during the Mother/Son dance, the servers would bring drinks to the tables before the Mother/Daughter dance and toast. This is what was agreed upon. Instead, they made an announcement seconds before the Mother/Son dance for people to go grab shots from the bar taking away from the moment. Twin Lakes tried to put the blame on their former employee saying that she should of informed us.
3. We had a family style dinner. I have been in the service industry a long time and I know that there was no where close to the amount of servers that needed to be there for the size of the wedding, especially when we had to pay $6k in gratuities. That being said, after the head table was served, it took over an our before some tables received their meal, not to mention that some tables got their food cold. -

Lost power. Didn't tell us. Didn't have a plan b and didn't plan on letting us know until we showed up for the reception. When we came up with a plan b at a different venue last minute we had to fight to get the food that we had already paid for. -
