Best wedding food ever!
I was so lucky to have Twelve 31 cater my wedding at the Concord Audubon center. They were very accommodating and had a lot of ideas for the vision I had. My guests still talk about how good the food was!! I loved that the staff found my husband and I during photos to make sure we were able to try the appetizers. Overall such a great team to work with. Wonderful Caterer!!
We cannot thank Twelve 31 enough for providing such an amazing catering experience for our wedding! We chose their taco bar, and it was absolutely delicious—our guests are still talking about it. We're so happy to have leftovers to enjoy afterward!
Michael and Melissa were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. They were flexible, accommodating, and made sure our vision came to life. They were also incredibly responsive and patient whenever I had what felt like a million questions.
We couldn't have asked for a better caterer and would highly recommend Twelve 31 to anyone planning an event. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so special! 🌮❤️🥂

An Unforgettable Wedding Reception Experience
We had our wedding reception here last night, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. From start to finish, everything felt seamless, thoughtful, and truly special.
The venue itself was beautiful—clean, well-maintained, and set up perfectly for our celebration. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between elegant and welcoming, and so many of our guests commented on how lovely everything looked.
The catering was just as impressive. The food was absolutely delicious, well-presented, and served right on time. Every dish we tried was flavorful, and it was clear that a lot of care went into both preparation and presentation. Our guests are still talking about how great the meal was!
What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was professional, kind, and attentive without being intrusive. They made sure everything ran smoothly so we could actually relax and enjoy our night—which meant everything to us.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important moment in our lives. We are so grateful to the entire team for helping make our reception unforgettable. The best choice for your event!
The main conversations I had at my daughter's wedding, other than about the bride and groom, was how good the food was and how professional the staff were. Everything was perfectly cooked and presented. Michael and Melissa were more than professional and kind throughout the whole process. They answered every question in a very timely manner. We were more than impressed with them and their staff. They also had options for every budget, or any kind of event. Thank you so much, this made the event perfect. -

Fantastic Food and Service!
This was a backyard wedding and food was being taken home by guest it was that good. The two servers we had went above and beyond.

SO great to work with!
We had Twelve-31 cater our rehearsal dinner with a Taco Bar spread and it was PERFECT. The presentation was awesome and everyone loved the food. -

Fantabulous! Highly Recommend!
We had a small backyard wedding that didn’t require anything more than drop-off/set-up, but that certainly doesn’t takeaway from the quality and quantity of food! Michael very helpful when it came to keeping out costs down and letting us know when we were ordering too much food. Our guests raved over everything! The Baked Stuffed Shrimp disappeared within minutes - I never did get one lol Rumor has it they were AH-MAZING! My meatball-snob guests thought the meatballs were perfection, as did I - I’m also a meatball snob. The Chicken Marsala, the Baked Mac and Cheese and the Grilled Veggies…NO WORDS other than FANTABULOUS! By the end of the night my husband and brother-in-law were hoarding leftovers so no one would take them. Melissa and Michael - thank you SO much for catering my wedding day! The food was delicious and a huge hit!

Highly recommend!
Our guests keep bringing up how great the food was at our wedding! Twelve 31 Events was wonderful to work with and the food was delicious. We were also lucky to have had the support of Michael and Melissa while navigating the pandemic. Between the many date changes and venue switches, it was not easy for any of our vendors. We are so thankful to have had such understanding people help us pull off what ended up being the perfect day and well worth the wait!Twelve 31 Events's reply:

Look no further for amazing food and wedding planning for your special event!
We began planning our wedding shortly after our engagement, and knew that we were going to need help. Doing a quick search on the internet, we found Melissa at Twelve 31 Events. To put it plain and simple, Melissa is an absolute saint. From the first moment we spoke with her on the phone, she immediately made us feel calm and confident that we could plan the perfect wedding that fit our personalities (and our busy schedules). We gave her just basic ideas of what we thought we'd like, and she really did the rest (vendor sourcing, creative decor ideas, staying true to our initial ideas without going over budget, etc.). Also, after our first discussion together, we came to find out that she also owns her own catering company. We gave her some basic food ideas, and she invited us to a personalized food tasting. We were nothing short of BLOWN AWAY by how delicious her food was (she's been catering for 20 years!).
Weddings can be an extremely stressful event, but knowing that we had Melissa and her team available to us whenever we needed them, alleviated any of our worries! Regardless of the magnitude of any issue that came up (ie, regarding hair decor, flower thoughts, table decor, food ideas, vendor changes, guest list issues, wedding website recommendations, etc.), Melissa was always there to provide us with guidance and support!
We wish we could select more than 5 stars - seriously. Not only do we feel that we have an amazing planner and caterer, but we've also made a great friend in the process. Do yourself a huge favor and contact Twelve 31 events - we promise you won't be disappointed!Twelve 31 Events's reply:

Delicious Food!

Quality of food is their only strength
The food was amazing, but the overall experience was disappointing. The communication and professionalism during the planning phase, the tasting and wedding days were lacking, which caused significant anxiety given the limited local options.
He frequently responded with one word texts and made me feel as though I was bothering him. The thought of having to communicate with him made me anxious even if all I wanted was to make any minor changes.
The tasting visit felt tense from the start, and a late-night one lined text the day before saying “plates inside” came off as unhelpful. On the wedding day, there was no server assigned to us, the owner walked around in a sweatshirt while the bar staff refused to make our custom drinks correctly, and we were pressured to tip more at the end despite having prepaid and tipped upfront. A disappointing contrast to the quality of the food.Twelve 31 Events's reply:
Sorry... you feel that way. We’re glad your guests enjoyed their food. More phone calls in the future may go a long way to put a friendly voice with all those emails and texts. Emails and texts can certainly add up during the wedding planning phases so the goal of being fast to respond to questions can be in conflict with taking time to respond. We are glad that all of your text and emails were answered and that none were left unresponded to. We count close to 100 total texts and emails in the exchange for all communication with you from the time you booked through to your wedding day. Out of those only a few were “one word” answers… A couple of those were responses such as “sure” to your text about asking us “if it was a good time to call and discuss your timeline.” Another was “correct” as a reply to a quick question you asked.
Looking at the text about the dishes specifically... it reads... "We sent Jennifer (the venue owner) an email about the dishes needed to be kept inside." It was more than one word. Are you able to send us a screenshot of that text because we are not finding it as you say it was written? We felt the need to make you aware of that -- as it is so important especially for a plated meal to make sure the rental plates delivered the night before are placed inside out of crisp autumn air. Unfortunately… not everyone is aware to keep the plates out of the cold so we want to be more safe than sorry.
Doing a lot of “indoor/outdoor” events in the fall our staff do wear sweatshirts with our logos to keep them warm going in and out. Our other uniforms are polo shorts with logos so those were covered up by the sweatshirt for warmth. The catering set up/ tent is outside of the barn so these were needed. On your bar several of your guests did ask for the drinks to be modified from your version to their liking so we did that for them.
We like the idea of during dinner service one staff member keeps their eyes on the bride and groom as we progress through the service. At times we have to remind our staff to “give them some space” so it is a delicate balance. We do remember having to let a team member know that you were ready to have your plate cleared. We would never want to clear if you or your spouse were still picking.
It is customary to get a final signature before departure. A couple of reasons. 1) Most importantly… it is a way to say goodbye. We definitely do not want to just “ghost.” 2) We only require a signature on the first version of our contract and while all business is certainly handled before the wedding day, the actual final version of the contract is not technically signed. So a little bit of formality too. Like… yes … we were here and we did our thing. 3) Yes, minimum gratuity is built into the service. There is certainly no obligation to add anything extra but many clients do so by choice. But never any pressure to do so.
We still do rack our brain to understand what this “tension” was at your tasting? Could be just two passionate married people who also own a successful business together just with game faces on and probably switching from other events/ tastings going on that day to your tasting? We would never want anyone to feel uncomfortable. We offer complimentary tastings for our booked clients and always strive to make them feel welcome. They are typically a lot of fun! We wish you would have said something during the 90 minutes you were with us that day. And at the end of your wedding food tasting, you went ahead and booked your rehearsal dinner. It is confusing that you would book more with us the same day you felt “uncomfortable.” It would also have been great if you mentioned your concern at the tasting.
Overall, your wedding day/weekend seemed like an awesome time - so we hope you have many great memories. Our memory was of two events done almost perfectly with your guests loving the food. All of us at Twelve 31 wish you and Eric all the best! -
