We booked TVK Orchestra for our April 2026 wedding, and we received so many compliments from our wedding guests about them. Everyone loved them and said they were the best. They said having a band at our wedding was so first-class!
Matt was our point of contact at TVK, and he was wonderful to work with. He was super helpful with our questions as we planned out the best music for our wedding, which was tough because we had a smaller group with guests ranging in age from their 20's-80's. However, after weeks of work, we finally put together a list of music that was a mix of our favorites across the decades that we knew everyone would enjoy, no matter what their generation.
We worked with TVK for our cocktail hour, dinner, and wedding reception. At our cocktail hour, we had a live piano player for an hour. For dinner, we played some of our favorite songs that were recorded, so MP3 style. Then we had a 7-piece band for our wedding reception, which was three hours of dancing. TVK did a great job of playing most of the songs we shared. They played a few songs not on our list, but they were upbeat tunes to get more people on the dance floor and keep the party going longer. Even though most guests headed home before the last dance at midnight, TVK kept playing to our small crowd of family until our last private dance was held as husband and wife.
If you are planning a wedding, I definitely recommend a band over a DJ, and the best one to contact is TVK Orchestra. -

The band brought an amazing energy to our reception and had almost all of our guests on the dance floor! Many of our guests told us that they were a highlight of the wedding and that it was one of the best weddings they'd been too. If you have the budget for live music, I would highly recommend TVK! -

We hired TVK for our August 2025 wedding at the Chicago History Museum and they did an amazing job. They kept the dancefloor packed with a mix of modern hits and classics. Matt and team were super flexible, as we requested several songs that were not on their list, and they learned them for us. Would HIGHLY recommend TVK for any upcoming event. -

TVK put my daughter's wedding "over the top" while exceeding all of my expectations and providing a tremendous value. There's nothing like live music, and we hired TVK to provide a string trio for the ceremony, jazz combo for cocktail hour, and the orchestra with brass for dinner and dancing. First, the musicianship and vocal talent is excellent. From Sinatra standards to Motown to pop hits, their arrangements and segues were masterful. In addition to the musicians, TVK provides sound engineers so the sound is tailored to the venue throughout the event. The service is incredible, and Tom's "master of ceremonies" service was excellent, working together with the venue to perfectly time the reception announcements, speeches, and dances with the dining tempo. I'd hire TVK again in a heartbeat! -

TVK orchestra did a wonderful job at our wedding last month. They were very easy to communicate with prior to the wedding (we worked with Matt Evert who was great), and very receptive to what we had in mind for music at the wedding. They are also VERY talented--the pianist at our ceremony was lovely, and the band knocked it out of the park at our reception--we got so many positive comments from our guests about the music! We especially loved their renditions of our first dance and dances with our parents. My dad also wanted to surprise me by playing a song from my childhood, which the band very graciously made happen and is one of my favorite memories from the day. Overall, we highly, highly recommend TVK! -

There are simply no words for our experience with TVK Orchestra. They are wonderful to work with, make incredible suggestions for making a beautiful event, and the talent of these musicians is extraordinary. Our guests are STILL talking about how they made our wedding reception come to life. They appealed to all age groups and the dance floor was full all night long. We hated to see the night end! I would not only recommend them, I hope we get the chance to have them for another event. Wonderful orchestra and experience! -

I have wanted a live band to play at my wedding as long as I can remember. TVK made this dream come alive and exceeded all of my high expectations. The singers were spot on with harmonies and vocal range. The horn section blew us out of the water! Everyone we talked to at the wedding and after the wedding could NOT stop talking about the band. Matt (band manager) was quick to respond, showed up on time to every meeting, offered great suggestions, made sure all the special dances perfect, and met our every ask (including allowing open mic during dinner). I would work with TVK again and again. Their pricing is completely reasonable and absolutely worth every penny! -

TVK Orchestra played for our wedding on 10/18/24 and we could not recommend them enough. Matt was super easy to work with, kind and responsive. We felt like the band and Matt prioritized what we wanted to hear and what elements of the day were most important to us. So many of our guests are still raving about our band today, the most common response we heard was "nobody left the dance floor all night!" The singers were outstanding and the band brought out so much energy and dancing from us and our guests. Being the bride, I made it a priority to dance all night and did so without issue! Having live entertainment at your wedding is an absolute must and TVK made our day so special and memorable! -

Our guests raved about how talented the band was - we had several musicians as guests and they kept commenting how amazing TVK was. Further, our dance floor was always packed! Working with TVK was pretty easy! They were professional, but also super delivered with their music. It was certainly a splurge, but 100% worth it. Music is very important to my husband and me, so we also added a trumpet player. TVK played several Taylor Swift requests and also some fun songs that got the whole floor dancing (and I mean the WHOLE floor). I recommend them to anyone needing a band for their wedding in the Chicago area!! -

Matt & the whole TVK crew are AMAZING people and amazing to work with. When we first started looking for a band to play at our wedding, Matt was always letting us know where TVK was playing at an event so we could listen to them before we booked to make sure we would get what we wanted. After deciding on TVK, Matt worked with us to ensure we had the perfect wedding. We had a half Polish half American wedding, so when the band had a break, they played a playlist of Polish songs so the dance floor was never empty and everyone danced to what they liked! We had so many compliments throughout the entire evening and are still getting rave reviews from all of our guests that they were one of the best wedding bands ever. If you have any hesitations at all - don’t. TVK is the BEST! -

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding band!! From the moment TVK started playing, the atmosphere was electric, and our guests were on their feet from start to finish. The band's talent and versatility were evident as they effortlessly navigated through various genres, catering to all our guests' tastes. The seamless transitions between songs and the dynamic energy they brought to each song kept everyone engaged and dancing.
Not only were they musically exceptional, but their professionalism and attention to detail were also top-notch. They worked closely with us before the event to understand our preferences and even learned a few special songs for us, which was awesome! - For example, our first dance song was Kiss from a Rose by Seal. They were able to learn a version that I specifically liked, and tailored the length of time perfectly. One of my guests told me later that at first they thought the venue was playing the actual song for our dance, not that it was live! Which shows just how good they are.
Their commitment to making our day unique and personalized truly stood out, thanks to the coordinators and also the Emcee, who was great! Choosing this wedding band was one of the best decisions we made. If you're still searching for a wedding band that goes above and beyond, look no further! -

If you are deciding to go between a band or DJ, I would recommend a band and go with TVK Orchestra! They are willing to learn songs, have great communication, and can identify the vibes of your wedding to keep the music flowing and everyone on the dance floor! We absolutely loved them and had the best time at our wedding. They played at our ceremony as well and it was beautiful. Matt will check-in and be sure they are all set for your big day. We loved everything! -

TVK performed for our 250 person wedding on June 10th. Since we had the wedding on a private property, we were somewhat concerned about logistics, but TVK made it so easy on us. They were responsive, flexible, and incredibly kind. Their 10 piece orchestra kept our dance floor packed all evening, which is what we wanted, and we are still getting compliments on the band weeks later. Matt was super helpful and patient with us as we worked through all the planning and Peter, the band leader, and his band kept the flow of the evening tracking as intended. They even worked on a special song request for us that our bridesmaid sang for our first dance. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a packed dance floor! Absolutely loved working with them and would do it again in a heartbeat! -

I am so incredibly happy that we used TVK Orchestra for our wedding band! Our dance floor was packed the entire night and I never wanted to leave the dance floor because they continued to play hit after hit. Their energy was infectious and all of our guests had an amazing time dancing the night away! Additional, TVK Orchestra was a pleasure to work with leading up the wedding. When planning my wedding, choosing a great live band was a top priority. With so many options in Chicago and recommendations from lots of friends and couples, the choice was overwhelming and involved lots of sticker shock. Finding TVK was the best stroke of luck!! We made our decision based on their extensive set list, great customer service, and extremely reasonable pricing. We had a few unique songs that mean a lot to us and our families that were not on the list, and the band learned them all. We ended the night with TVK's DJ services which was the perfect way to cap off the fun. All of our guests were on the dancefloor thanks to TVK's fantastic playing and their ability to gauge the crowd's moods. 10/10 would recommend to any couple looking for a band! -

We hired TVK Orchestra to play at our daughter's wedding on June 4, 2022. We went with the 10-piece orchestra that included 3 vocalists, sax, guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, trumpet, and trombone. They have an extensive playlist and literally had the dance floor packed the entire night....we even added on an additional 1/2 hour. If you are looking for a professional upscale band, I would highly recommend TVK! -

Our wedding on 10/2 would not have been nearly as fun without TVK. Not only did they perform the modern songs on strings we wanted for our ceremony, they brought in bluegrass musicians for the cocktail hour (one of our unusual requests) and kept us dancing all night long. It was really an incredible night and the dance floor was packed the whole time. I'm so glad we found TVK and would recommend Tom and team to anyone getting married in the Chicagoland area. -

I had heard TVK at a friend's wedding and remembered them being great, but they totally surpassed all expectations. They learned/sang our first dance song to perfection, and they sang some of their songs so well that I liked their versions better than the recordings. Plus, my husband's sister is a musician and TVK helped us surprise her by playing a recording of one of her songs during their break. The picture of her gleeful surprised face is one of my favorite from that night, and it was all thanks to TVK.
And not only are they a fantastic band, but two weeks before our wedding they agreed to move their stage from indoors to outdoors (the roof of the Old Post Office) AND brought a whole light show. Dancing on that rooftop to TVK's beautiful music under the moon is something we and all of our guests will remember for the rest of our lives. They made it so magical at the drop of a hat. I will be forever grateful for their flexibility. -

TVK is the band to hire for your special event! A great band was a top priority for our special day. TVK was very responsive to our emails, listened to every detail we requested, and delivered! This was our second opportunity to have TVK perform at one of our children’s weddings and they were awesome this time as well. After our first wedding we had so many guests tell us this was by far the best band they had heard so we knew we had to book them again! Tom is so easy to work with and the music had us dancing all night. There is honestly nothing like a nine piece live band to get people dancing and enjoying the celebration. A highlight for sure! We had TVK perform at our wedding at the Oak Brook Hills on 11/9/19. Everything from the start to finish was extremely professional - they were always quick to respond to any phone calls and emails. Additionally, TVK was extremely flexible and accommodating to any changes we had to our itinerary. Most importantly - once TVK began to play their music, the dance floor was packed. The dance floor was never empty - even at midnight as the wedding was coming to a close. I would definitely recommend TVK for any wedding!! -

TVK Orchestra was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Tom was excellent at communicating with us. He was very quick to respond to our questions and emails. They performed the Mother/Son dance song, as well as a mashup of two songs my Dad and I created for our dance -- incredible! The dance floor was packed the whole night and they were so much fun. There wasn't a point in the night that people were not dancing and enjoying the music. We received so many compliments about TVK both on our wedding night and days after. Working with them was so easy and stress free! We highly recommend them to any event, you won't regret it. -

Tom was SO responsive and SO helpful when developing the timeline of the day and the music!!! He made the hectic timeline planning a breeze for me which was so comforting! He also took song requests literally up until the day of the wedding! They played all our first dance songs live which was amazing and even sang happy birthday to my cousin!! All of our wedding guests were dancing the whole night which was exactly what we wanted!!! Would highly recommend TVK for your wedding!!! They even learned and played a special song for my dads speech and allowed him to get on stage and play with them! So amazing and so professional and nice people all around! -

Cannot praise TVK enough! They were easy to work with and very responsive. They were super accommodating to any request - they even were able to change a lyric during the father / daughter dance to make it more applicable to us, which was really special to my dad. The dance floor was packed the entire night and I had so many guests comment to me after on how awesome the band was! Highly recommend that you hire TVK for your event! -

The decision to hire TVK was one of the best decisions we made while planning our daughter's wedding. Music was extremely important to our daughter. We reviewed approximately 25 bands before making a decision.
They are well worth the expense. We were impressed with Tom and the entire band. They were so accommodating and a dream to work with. They were wonderful musicians and really knew how to read the crowd. The variety of music they played kept the dance floor full all evening.
A side note, I am a wedding planner in Indianapolis. Tom and his team were incredibly professional and attentive through out the planning process as well as the evening of our daughter's wedding. They were the best!! -

We had the best experience with TVK Orchestra. They were truly such an amazing group to work with. They were quick to respond from the get go, they even talked with my mom on a couple occasions to discuss exactly what we were looking for and this band does not disappoint. I heard them for the first time at one of my best friends weddings and we knew we wanted them for ours. Us and our wedding guests had such an amazing time, the band was so much fun and on breaks the dj transitioned in so nicely the dance floor was never empty. We had an over flowing amount of compliments. The only thing we were dissapointed with was not being able to extend the experience due to strict outdoor band times in the area our wedding was at-an amazing time had by all! highly, highly recommend! -

Donna Sent on 08/27/2018We had the opportunity to attend a couple of weddings that TVK performed at and so glad we did! The music was amazing and I knew that they were the band for my daughter’s wedding and actually hired TVK before we had a venue!
As expected, they were amazing from ceremony string quartet, jazz musicians for cocktails and dinner and the 8 piece band for dancing. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Their music selections during the reception took into consideration all wedding guests and guests still rave about the great party. Thank you TVK.
A special shout out to Sally and Tom who took care of us during the process. From many emails, questions, last minute changes, they were gracious and patient. -
