Fun fun fun

Get your guest out of a traditional party bus and go with Turtle Bus! My guest had the time of their lives and there was so much more space for everyone.

A built in bar, Colleen was extremely responsive and the bus was COOL!!

Exactly what we wanted for transportation!

The Turtle Bus was a perfect option for our wedding party transportation to get to photos and the venue for our wedding. It was a great way to spend time with our friends before starting the wedding festivities and was a LOT of fun!!

Great, fun experience!

Turtle bus was so fun (our guests loved the buses/tikki bar vibe). They were very easy to work with and incredibly responsive to questions about the best place to pick up etc. In addition, their estimate for the overall cost was spot on in the end - which is very appreciated in wedding budgeting! A wonderful experience.

BEST Transportation

The Turtle Bus is SO amazing to work with. I'm a wedding planner and they are my number one choice in Vail for transportation. Always early, always so communicative, and just overall an effortless experience. 100% recommend.

Perfect Wedding Transportation!

We used the Turtle Bus to drive guests from our wedding and then to the afterparty! It was exactly what we wanted and so nice that the guests could have a cold beverage on their way to the wedding! You should definitely use it for your wedding needs! The communication was awesome and the team is so easy to work with!

Absolutely Recommend

We LOVED the turtle bus. The name of our driver is escaping me now but he was wonderful! We felt safe despite the switchback drive up the ski hill in Breckenridge. They were so sweet to my 2 year old nephew who also loved the bus. Our bartender was also fantastic. I would highly recommend!

Fun wedding transportation!

Turtle bus was SUCH a fun way to get our wedding party and family to and from our wedding venue! They were super easy to work with, very flexible with scheduling, and overall an absolute blast! We had a somewhat fancy wedding, but everyone loved the fun factor of the Turtle Bus!

We used the Vail Turtle Bus for our transportation throughout our entire wedding weekend. IT took us around Vail and to minturn for our rehearsal dinner, as well as our wedding party on the day of the wedding. They were even so nice and flexible to come back after our reception was over and bring everyone to the bar we went to. It is SO much fun and a hidden gem. They have a bar on the bus. So you can have cocktails/beers while you ride around in an old school green bus. It is a must do for any celebration you may have in Vail!!!

The Turtle Bus was one of the highlights of ours and our guests wedding weekend! My husband and I wanted to make sure all of our guests would be able to have a good time at our wedding without the worry of transportation. We had the bus pick up our wedding party at our Vail vacation home to head to the ceremony. Our wedding party loved that they could have a cocktail on a party bus before the ceremony! The bus then headed over to Avon to pick up our guests to take them to the ceremony/reception site. The turtle bus then picked up our guests after our reception to take them back to Avon. The bus came back to our venue and picked up the rest of the party animals to drop us off at Lionshead Village for the after party. We had so many compliments from our wedding guests for the fun experience they had on the Turtle Bus! It was affordable and they were very flexible with our pickup and drop-off requests. For anyone looking for a fun and unique form of wedding transportation, the Turtle Bus is it!

We used Turtle Bus to transport our wedding party from our lodging to the venue, and then to the afterparty, and back to our lodging. They were fun and friendly, and provided a great atmosphere. We couldn't get the sound system to work on the bus, but other than that, they were great!

I am so glad the Turtle Bus was recommended to me for our Wedding transportation, it was exactly what we wanted. The bar on the bus is a bit pricey, but other than that it was a great value for our transportation from our ceremony venue to the reception venue and around Vail. We needed to transport just under 20 people and this was the most affordable way we could get everyone in one vehicle. The guys were all really nice and allowed us to play whatever bad music we wanted to on their ipod. It was a fun, rowdy, unconventional way to start the party.

Poor communication, service and experience

I reserved (2) buses in January for my September wedding and received confirmation emails for each. An employee reached out to me in July and asked if I still needed them. I said yes, sent her a detailed itinerary and let her know I would follow up in August with the final guest count and timeline. I sent an email in at the end of August confirming all details and asked for a confirmation. I emailed them every week until my wedding and never heard from anyone. I finally called the owner 2 days before my wedding and he assured me the issue would be resolved immediately. An employee called me hours later and said he had no information about my reservation. I spent ~45 minutes on the phone going over the details 48 hours before my big day. At the end of that conversation, I asked for a confirmation email, I was assured I would receive one immediately. On the day of my wedding, I still had not received any confirmation from the Turtle bus and one of my bridesmaids had to call them to confirm they were coming. I asked for two buses at the end of the night and only one showed up. I had to ask some of my guests to drive to the after party because there were not enough seats on the bus. I received my bill two days after my wedding. I sent an email within a week of receiving and outlined all of my frustrations. I did not ask for a refund but I did ask for someone to call me to discuss my issues. I never heard from anyone and my card was charged about a month later. Great concept for wedding transportation, horribly executed, awful customer service and absolutely terrible experience on my end. I do not recommend.

We did not have a good experience with Turtle Bus. We explained repeatedly before signing the contract that we didn't have specific times when our guests would be coming back from the wedding and were told that it wouldn't be a problem...it was a problem. We were charged a fee for being late (again we repeatedly mentioned that we didn't have specific return times) and to top it off they left Beaver Creek and were in Vail when our guests were supposed to be picked up. The driver told my husband to give him a call and a 20 minute heads up which we did in addition to the venue manager doing and they still left our guests stranded for almost an hour during which the venue manager, myself and my husband were repeatedly calling the driver (not what you want to be doing during your wedding). Then to add insult to injury we ended up being charged several hundred dollars more than we were originally quoted. Had we know how unreliable they would be we would have gone with a limo service. Although the idea is fun, it's not worth taking the chance of stranded guests.

Scary! Unsafe and unprofessional.

What a bunch of dilapidated buses driven by a bunch of unprofessional jerks.

They showed up 30 minutes late to move a bunch of wedding guests and then spent another 20 minutes figuring out how to load the people on the buses.

They had taken out some perfectly good seats and replaced them with couches that were poorly attached to the bus. In a quick stop those seats are going to move and people are going to get hurt.

It's incredible that these buses could pass safety or emissions inspections. The front bumper of one was tied on with rope. And they belched diesel smoke as they could barely get up hills.

If you're a drinker and only care about getting drunk during your bus ride this is the company for you. But if you're interested in the safety for yourself and your loved ones avoid this outfit!

Impossible to contact

These guys ran in to my parked car.

I initially received some communication that they would repair it. Three months later, I'm still working with police and law enforcement and my insurance to get in touch with the owner, Shane Ward. They wont call us back, do not answer phones, and we have now had to file the incident as a hit and run.

Do they have insurance?

I'm not sure you want to put your lives in the hands of these guys, driving around in the back of their bus.

Left us to find our own ride 33 miles into the mountains

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was at a wedding in Pine, Colorado where this vendor was hired to bring the bridal party and family down the mountain after the wedding. Ten minutes after they were supposed to arrive we contacted them and they stated that they were not coming. They had our deposit and sent a confirmation email but the owner of the company said he had no recollection of any of it and that there was nothing he could do. We were left to find rides late in the evening, 33 miles outside Golden, for over 30 people. Definitely not the way you want to end your wedding night. I have never worked with a more careless, unprofessional company.
