Get ready to party all night long

Turntable Events had everyone up and dancing for our entire wedding day! We had a diverse group of guests and it was really important to us that Spencer and his team played a variety of Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, Hip/Hop, 90s, Oldies, etc. Turntable Events absolutely crushed it! Many of our guests said it felt like a club, which is the tone we wanted for the evening dance party. Guests have told us how much they loved that it didn’t feel like a cookie cutter wedding playlist. Shoutout to Spencer for going above and beyond to make our wedding special. He even added in some last minute uplifting for us. We would highly recommend Turntable Events 10/10!!!

Amazing! Exceeded Hopes!

Spencer went well beyond our expectations! Everyone--from our friends to our parents--loved him. He kept the perfect flow for the evening and read the room perfectly. He was kind, considerate, and calm in the lead-up, and he kept us dancing throughout the night. One of my wedding regrets is that I couldn't spend more time on the dance floor dancing to one of his sets because we were doing photos, but that is how good he is. We cannot recommend him more highly.

The dance floor was never empty!!

We got married at 10.22.2021 at red maple vineyard and could not thank Spencer at turntable events for making our special day so perfect. It has not been over a month since the wedding and we still get so many compliments how amazing our DJ was and that the dance floor was always packed. One thing I can say that we truly loved that Spencer did was that he read the room and the crowd so well. The mix of music was absolutely perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and recommend Spencer and his team at turntable events!

Absolutely Phenomenal

I wish I could give Spencer and his team a thousand stars! Spencer is one of the most considerate DJs I had the pleasure of talking to. He made sure each detail was perfect. We had mentioned that many of our guests had very sensitive ears and his team made sure to continuously change the volume of the music so that a good time was had by all. What is the most important to both my husband and I was that he even took into consideration how each name was pronounced. My mother has a bit of a difficult name to pronounce and Spencer made sure to go over how to say it with me many times and pronounced it perfect! Additionally, throughout the wedding, Spencer and his team checked in on us to make sure we were happy with everything going on and if any additional things needed to happen. So overall, if I had the chance to have an event again I would go to Spencer every time.

Lets talk about WHY Turntable Events is the best:
From the beginning my experience with Turntable Events has been fantastic. No upselling, no pressure, just easy conversation and building up excitement for one of the biggest days of my life. I found out about Turntable Events from my wedding venue and I can see why. Spencer is SUPER easy to talk to, very communicative, professional and clearly knows what he's doing. He kept us up to speed with updates and timelines and helped us with any questions we had. My now husband, Marc, put together a lengthy list of songs for Spencer to play and he did just that and included some awesome additions that complimented the playlist perfectly. Our guests are still talking about the music and we all had such an incredibly fun time. I highly recommend Turntable Events for any event!!

Excellent!

Spencer is awesome! He is completely on the ball in every aspect of what he does! When my husband and I first met with Spencer, it felt like we were visiting with a friend. He took the time to get to know us better and to find out our musical tastes. We booked him a few days later, and from that point forward it was very easy to communicate with him and he was always very responsive. It was reassuring to see how detailed he was about everything - he laid out the timeline for the entire reception, asked for all the names of the wedding party for introductions (and how to pronounce them correctly) and asked for all our special song requests plus our "do not play" list. He even helped me make some decisions about the reception space based on his experience doing other events there! We didn't give Spencer much direction and basically left everything in his hands, and he did not disappoint us. We relied on his expertise to read the crowd, and that's exactly what he did by playing music that kept the dance floor packed all night long! Spencer has great energy and you can tell that he truly loves what he does and truly cares about his clients. We also booked an open air photo booth with Turntable (complete with props and an attendant) and our guests loved it. They were able to take their pictures home with them that night and my husband and I received digital copies of all the pictures from Spencer the next day! Our guests really enjoyed themselves and were raving about how much fun they had even long after the wedding had ended, and we have Spencer and Turntable Events to thank for that.

Knows how to get the party going

Spencer was awesome. He was so much fun and such a high energetic positive person. Such talent. Everyone had such an amazing time. He was so easy to talk to, knew exactly what I wanted, and let me have fun with the microphone whenever I wanted. LOL. He is truly an artist and even though I gave him recommendations on music he added in his expertise and it was perfect. Highly recommend!

Our BEST vendor decision was hiring Turntable Events!

I wish I could give a score higher than 5 on each of the criteria because Spencer and his team gave the quality of 10+ stars from the minute we contacted them to even after our wedding when Spencer checked in with us. Hands down the best vendor decision we made for our wedding was having Turntable be our DJ!
Your search is OVER. Spencer and his team are the PERFECT addition to your wedding day. They hyped the crowd, got the party going, knew when to slow down the music, knew when to pump it up- just fantastic at what they do.
Spencer is one of the most personable and professional DJs I have ever met; he went out of his way to make sure you knew that he was honored to be part of your special day and he was excited to celebrate. Did not skip a beat!!

Spencer and the rest of his crew were absolutely on point from the second they arrived at our venue! Turntable was literally the first vendor I booked after deciding on our venue. Music is a huge part of my husband and I's lives so we knew we needed to have a great DJ/MC for our wedding! We originally were thinking of having a band but were SO glad we went with Spencer instead! A few days before the wedding we jumped on a call and talked through genres we liked and sorted out all ceremony music. Spencer had awesome recommendations and did not skip a beat during the entire wedding. From Tom Petty and Bruce during the ceremony to Martin Garrix and Journey during the reception - everything he played was perfect! We have a friend who is getting married in August and he told us he was writing down almost every song Spence played to add to his wedding playlist! Our guests had a BLAST in the photo booth and Turntable even sent me all of the digital copies not even a week after the wedding. Spencer and his team are phenomenal. Our photographer (uplift photography) recommended Turntable Events to us and when she described them as the "anti- wedding DJ DJ" I knew they would be perfect. We didn't want anything cheesy some DJs do like passing out props such as light up necklaces or playing group dances like cotton eyed joe. After my first phone conversation with Spencer, I knew they were the right choice for us and we booked them right away. During the time up until the wedding, Spencer was always very responsive to my emails answering any questions I had. The day of our wedding, they did not disappoint! They played every song we asked for and avoided everything on our "do not play" list. It was the perfect mix of oldies, 90s and current songs to keep everyone happy. The dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT and they helped flow the reception perfectly. In addition, the guests LOVED our photobooth. Not only did guests receive 2 copies of their photos printed out, but we also got digital files of all photos. Such great memories to have! Spencer is SO easy to work with and such a nice person as well- which is so important when choosing your wedding vendors! Book Turntable- you will not be disappointed!

We are music lovers, specific in our requests and serious about listening to the good stuff-we didn’t want radio top 40 we wanted classic rock and Turntable events provided just that while keeping the party going all night. They played our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and from start to finish delivered what we wanted. Spencer and crew had everyone out on the dance floor ready to party, he mixed in our requests while playing to the mood. From our initial reach out to our Skype meeting all the way up to the day of Turntable Events was punctual, professional, and easy to reach. Their documents provided for the wedding music are organized, straightforward and very helpful. The photo booth was a nice addition though it unfortunately had a few bumps along the way, they brought a great selection of props and a backdrop that matched our wedding colors. In addition, they sent me digital files of all photo booth pictures within two weeks of our wedding!! I recommend Turntable Events if you are looking to have an amazing mood set and a vendor that makes you feel like you guys are friends. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them!

SPENCER IS THE MAN! We knew that the event music can make or break a wedding, so we shopped around quite a bit for a DJ and found Turntable Events. We are SO glad that we did because our music was SPOT ON! Guests would not stop raving about the playlist, and I'm still getting compliments to this day.

What we loved about working with Spencer: so many things! First and foremost, Spencer is incredibly responsive. He gets back to me within 24 hours or less whenever I have a question or concern. He was super patient with us when we had a bunch of customization requests for the music (ex: starting and stopping songs at very specific points for our first dance and parent/child dances). He worked with us on pronouncing our tricky bridal party names (and then absolutely knocked it out of the park during the event). Finally, he took our "must play" song list and filled in exactly the kind of songs we love. I am not exaggerating when I say that the dancefloor was PACKED the whole night! I'm also not exaggerating when I say that my shoes were crazy painful and that STILL didn't stop me from being on the dancefloor all night.

I could go on forever and ever about why you should choose Turntable Events for your event. You really, really need to -- you won't regret it!

If you want your family and friends on the dance floor, good music, and a good time, Spencer, Turn Table Events, is your guy. He asks your favorite dance songs, slow songs, and the usual first dance, cake song, etc.., but delivers so much more. Spencer dj our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He knew when to turn it up a notch and when to turn it down. He played the songs we requested, he catered to all of guests and family’s styles of music, and did his own thing. He’s really easy to work with and you can tell he loves what he does and music. He was recommended by a family friend and I’ll be recommending him to anyone who asks. Looking for a dj isn’t easy, as you can’t just show up at someone else’s wedding to see the dj do their thing and every client has different tastes. The friend that recommended him was more of a country fan. My husband and I are more dance, pop (what’s on the radio now) and rock fans. He plays and does it all. Your wedding is probably the only or few times you’ll have your own private dance floor. Spencer/Turntable is who you want playing your own personal soundtrack.

Turntable Events is simply the best DJ/MC one could ever ask for. From my first phone call with Spencer, I was immediately at ease and knew I wanted him to be part of our celebration. Spencer was so responsive to my many questions leading up to the event, and his pre-wedding questionnaire is very thorough at getting to the bottom of what my fiance and I wanted for our wedding celebration. The music, lighting and photobooth were all perfect. Spencer and his team were SO MUCH FUN, too! I had so many people comment on how they have never been to a wedding with such a fun and involved DJ/ MC! I knew very soon after speaking with Spencer on the phone that he would be the DJ at my wife and my wedding. He was funny, friendly, and I could tell that he immediately knew the type of wedding my wife and I were looking for, and what music could best compliment that day.

Rather than instantly ask us about what songs we wanted him to play, instead he wanted to know more about us: How my wife and I first met, what music tastes we had in common (a lot of indie rock and Motown) as well as the “mood’ we wanted for the wedding. Our response was that we wanted all our guests to feel part of a larger celebration, to have fun without making it a dance club, to avoid line dances entirely… and Spencer definitely delivered.

Not only was Spencer easy to talk to on the phone, he was very fun, energetic, and personable. Now, full disclosure: I’m a guy and have no idea how weddings were supposed to work. Who gets introduced first? When do you have a first dance? When are the best man / MoH speeches? Do I need to make a speech? I had no idea.

Spencer walked me through the entire night (and worked with our event planner) to ensure a seamless evening. A few nights before the wedding he called to make sure he was pronouncing the names 100% correctly, and even responded quickly and professionally to a last-minute change in intros (our ring bearer wasn’t exactly having the best night).

Chris did an awesome job with our photobooth, something my wife and I were originally on the fence about booking. We’re so glad we did, as the booth definitely took some memorable images… some more appropriate than others.
I wish I got married more often now that I know I can book Spencer. 10/10 would use again.

Spencer, Alex and Chris are the DJ, Photobooth, and uplighting DREAM TEAM! Turntable Events was on the list of recommended vendors provided by our venue, The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls. After reviewing the list and reading reviews on The Knot, we reached out to a few and Spencer was clearly the best choice. His pricing was fair and he was very responsive to our questions. In the weeks leading up to our wedding Spencer was in touch frequently and made us feel very comfortable. On the day, he did not disappoint! Spencer was the best wedding MC we’ve ever seen, Alex slayed the music, and our guests had a ball in the open air photobooth. They read the energy throughout the night and kept the music perfectly in tune! These guys can handle anything and are true professionals. When my Maid of Honor approached Spencer and said she planned to rap part of her toast (which was totally epic), he was 100% on board and incorporated the music perfectly! We had an absolute blast and know our guests did too. Spencer and his team were a huge part of making our wedding as amazing as it was. We highly recommend Turntable – they’re the best!

If you are looking to have a party at your wedding, a real celebration, this is the company to hire. We both had the MOST fun at our wedding and Spencer and his team made sure of it, they read the room, felt the vibe and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. What can I say? Spencer killed it! I knew we would be fast friends when we were talking about music and he allowed me to go on a 10 minute rant on the music we were looking for (i.e. extra 90s throwbacks). Spencer took all my preferences in stride and on the day of, he completely delivered. He played the right songs to get everyone out onto the dance floor and knew exactly how to keep them there all night. Spencer was in constant communication with my husband and I throughout the night, making sure we were having a good time and playing our “must have” songs. We also did the package with the photo booth which was a huge hit. Our guests had a blast taking pictures together with all the props that Turntable brought along. Spencer was a pleasure to work with from the initial meeting straight through the main event. He was always available to answer questions and offer suggestions and we couldn’t be happier with the service he provided. Overall he’s a 10 out of 10!

Spencer and Turntable Events did an outstanding job at our wedding! People have been raving about the music since our wedding last fall. I cannot say enough about Spencer and his team! We took a risk by going with a DJ for our wedding that we had never seen or heard live, but it definitely paid off!! These guys were amazing!

A few months before our wedding, Spencer reached out with information so we could plan all of our music for our ceremony and reception. When we sent it back to him a few weeks before the wedding, he called us to discuss details and make sure everything went smoothly.

At our wedding, we had THE BEST TIME and so did all of our guests, and that was no small part thanks to Spencer and Turntable Events. ABout 1/2 of our wedding guests were older family members and family friends, while the other half were in their mid twenties. Turntable managed this well with a fantastic mix of music, and everyone was on the dance floor the whole night!

They managed to play all of our "must play" songs, while making sure that everyone was included and having a blast. In the weeks since our wedding, we've gotten amazing feedback from all of our guests, and have recommended Turntable to our friends who are planning their wedding.

I can't say enough how much I recommend these guys, they really helped make our event perfect!

Turntable Events was simply outstanding! We looked at several DJs for our wedding and after reading reviews for Turntable and checking out their website, we decided they were the ones! The website was so comprehensive and all of the information that we needed was right there at our fingertips. After talking with Spencer on the phone, we booked right away and we were not disappointed! Any time I emailed Spencer with any questions, he got back to me very quickly and answered any questions that we had. Turntable Events not only provided music for the party of a lifetime, our wedding reception, they also provided ceremony and cocktail hour music. Everything went flawlessly. I knew we were in good hands! The ceremony music was exactly as we wanted and the cocktail hour music was also perfect! Spencer Potter from Turntable events was the best DJ!!! He kept our party going strong the entire night of the wedding... leading up to everything he answered all my emails right away...since we aren't local, we talked on skype and got a great vibe from the start. We corresponded the rest through email and a week before we reviewed all the important information he needed. via phone.he made me feel so comfortable leading up to the big day..The day of, he met with me and we discussed any last minute updates or changes... ceremony was perfect music was nice a loud, great timing of everything and had mics so sound was nice and clear.. Reception went SO smoothly with music and really had a great read of the crowd. Great prices for what we got...he came with another DJ (or MC) who was also very nice...he had a great balance of talking when need be to keep the flow going and answered all my questions throughout the night. The BEST was his ending..some weddings end awkwardly, but his ended on such a strong note with multiple "last songs" so the crowd went wild! They both worked super hard..hands down the BEST!

Turntable Events did an AMAZING job at our wedding. So many of our guests went out of their way to compliment how great of a job they did and everyone was on their feet the entire night. I was also super impressed with the professionalism of Spencer and the rest of the team. From the planning process to the night of, they made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were happy with the way things were going. We just can't say enough about Spencer and Turntable Events. I had another DJ hired and just wasn't happy and confident with them so decided to call Spencer literally a week before the wedding. Obviously I had anxiety doing this a week out but did I ever make the right call. Spencer was super professional and thorough in the week prep. The wedding itself could not have gone smoother. Spencer and Andrew were top-notch and really brought our wedding to a new level. I've had countless compliments since that it was the best party guests had ever been to, and to be honest the dancing did not stop all night. In fact many of our guests didn't eat dinner or dessert, they were so busy dancing! I had seen Spencer at another wedding of a friend a few years' back and knew that he would not disappoint - I'm glad that Turntable's reputation as the best can be confirmed even years later. I sent a few emails with maybe 20 or so general songs that my husband and I like and from there Spencer and Andrew took it the next level! We had a hugely international crowd as our friends flew in from all over, as well as a ton of Indians and an older generation from my side. Turntable pleased everyone and were super professional throughout the process. They also helped with special add-ons like a dance that my girlfriends coordinated, perfect em-ceeing, very unique gobo projection images that helped enhance our theater venue, etc. I cannot say enough good things about Spencer and the team and encourage you to run, not walk to book them. DJ Spencer and Turntable Events was absolutely amazing. All of our guests would not stop talking about how incredible the music was and how much enthusiasm and energy Spencer had. He and Alex got everyone on the dance floor and kept them there throughout the entire reception.

Spencer blew us away, not only with his music but introductions and narration throughout the night. During the planning process, Spencer listened to all of our requests, he was always super responsive and enthusiastic and such a pleasure to work with.

We are so happy that Turntable events DJ'ed our wedding, it was flawless! Thank you, Spencer for making our wedding so memorable and so much fun! You guys crushed it and are truly talented at what you do.

Andrew was absolutely amazing, his music was always on point and the dance floor was never empty. He definitely knows how to feel the crowd and what to play.
Not only was he an incredible DJ but he was very attentive to our needs by going above and beyond to periodically check on us to see how we were doing and if we ever needed anything.
I had originally booked another DJ company before I found Andrew who was playing at his friends bar one night, I had so much fun and couldn't stop dancing. I went home and canceled our original DJ the next day and we lost our $750 deposit, but Andrew was kind enough to work with us.
If this rating allowed, I would rate him much higher.

Turntable Events did an amazing job!!! Spencer listened to all of our requests and really created such a smooth and seamless night for us! We were planning our wedding remotely so we spoke via phone, email, and Skype. He was always quick to respond and very excited about our wedding! His confidence and enthusiasm made us feel so comfortable with all the details of planning. The uplighting was beyond beautiful and the music was spot on. He had our guests dancing from the moment after our first dance until the last song of the night. He pronounced all of our crazy names perfectly and made everyone feel like a rockstar! He was all smiles the whole night and really kept the energy high. We are so happy that we chose Turntable events to DJ our wedding, it was truly flawless! Spencer and his co-dj were absolutely AMAZING!!!! Everyone at our wedding could not believe how many people were up and dancing-the entire night-even our older relatives! From the cocktail hour to the announcements and remixes-we had a blast! We had the absolute time of our lives at our wedding and Turntable Events had a huge hand in that. Spencer was so incredibly easy to work with from our initial consultation call to the last dance - everything ran smoothly and he was one step ahead of the game. We had a few "must play" songs that he was able to seamlessly integrate into the night and there wasn't a moment when the dance floor wasn't packed. We even had an impromptu horah dance that Spencer was able to capture on video.

We used Turntable Events for our wedding in Hudson Valley and had an amazing experience. Spencer and his team were the perfect match for our wedding. They were organized in the planning and on the day of and brought just the right amount of humor and excitement to the festivities.

We found Spencer and Turntable Events when looking for DJ's on wedding websites. We are the first of our friends to be married, so there weren't a lot of in person recommendations being given to us so we had to use online reviews to find somebody.

After an initial email expressing interest, Turntable Events responded very quickly and were very helpful and responsive in terms of arranging a meeting. We met Spencer directly and after getting to know each other for a little while, my wife and I pretty much decided then and there that he was the DJ we wanted to hire. He seemed extremely friendly and seemed to be in sync with us in terms of what we wanted played at the wedding. After meeting a few other DJ's we ended up going with Spencer for sure.

On the day of the event, he executed everything perfectly. The lighting that he used was great and really set the mood on our dance floor. All the songs were played correctly and all of our requests were honored. As an MC, Spencer was lively and really got everybody into it. Also, he pronounced everybody's name correctly which wasn't such an easy task with our bridal party. Even the assistant that he brought with him was friendly and helpful and kept everything in check during the evening. We had a great wedding and we couldn't have done it without Spencer and the Turntable Events team! If we could give more than five stars we would!

I can't say enough good things about Turntable!! When they say things happen for a reason, I truly believe it. We originally had a different DJ booked for our wedding. About 10 months prior to our wedding, that DJ called me and told me that he double booked us. At the time I was angry, but in the long run I am so happy that we ended up with Turntable. I started looking for a DJ, and as soon as my husband and I met with Spencer and he said he was available we knew we had to go with it. From the moment we met Spencer he was so down to earth and friendly. Spencer answered every question and e-mail I had without any hesitation. We gave him an idea of what kind of music we were in to and he did an awesome job!! The whole night the dance floor was packed, exactly what I had hoped for. Everyone is still talking about how awesome it was!! I would highly recommend Turntable Events, they are not like other DJ companies (and we met with a lot of companies) they care about the bride and groom.. it's not just another wedding to them. DJ Andrew Mercado was awesome! He did a great job reading the vibe of our guests and playing music that kept everyone on the dancefloor throughout the entire night. We knew that our music was important to us for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception- so we needed a DJ who was open to our ideas and on point with timing. We used Turntable Events for our 10/19/14 wedding and could not be happier with how everything turned out. Spencer did our ceremony music, reception music, and up-lighting, and everything went off without a hitch. My husband and I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, not to mention we had a lot of older Italian relatives to please, so Spencer had his work cut out for him with our wedding… but he nailed it. He was able to incorporate all our different styles/requests, and kept the party going all night without alienating or leaving out any of the different age groups… there was a little something for everybody, and as a result, everyone had a blast. The dance floor was packed, and included mothers, cousins, friends… even some of our oldest relatives couldn’t help but join the party. It was fantastic to be surrounded by that kind of energy. Also worth noting is that Spencer is incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to work with… not to mention he’s just a genuinely nice person. As a bride (or groom) I think it’s so important to click with your vendors so that you can put your trust in them and be at ease in the planning process. And from the moment we met Spencer we could tell that he genuinely loved his job and took pride in helping brides/grooms make their weddings a success. Spencer Potter and the Turntable Events crew were incredible! Maximizing dance time with great music was a priority of mine during wedding planning and TurnTable Events not only matched, but exceeded my high expectations. They were the perfect mix of professionalism and fun. Spencer not only came with an assistant DJ but also with a coordinator to make sure everything was right on schedule and that all of our requests were accommodated. Spencer and I also had a long conversation the week before the wedding to ensure all of our requests and expectations were understood.
From the time the reception began until the last song, Spencer had the dance floor packed with people of all ages. Since our wedding, the question we've been asked more than any others was “Who was your DJ and how can I contact him?” and “ What was that playlist?”. People are still talking about how they've never been to such a fun wedding and that definitely was because everyone was up having fun on the dance floor the entire time. Turntable Events also provided uplighting which looked amazing in our big white reception tent. Spencer played and wide variety of songs, from oldies for the older guests to today's hit for the younger crowd, all the guests enjoyed his playlists. "BEST DJ I'VE EVER HEARD!" That was a regular comment from our guests. I have also attended 3 other weddings DJ'ed by Turntable (Spencer in particular) and have felt the same way...obviously since we decided to use them!...but also heard guests at these other weddings saying the same thing!

They know exactly what to play to keep the dance floor packed. It's never too loud that it causes a headache or interferes in conversation, but it's not too quiet to keep people in their seats. With their music and their uplighting they create an atmosphere that lends to an amazing night EVERY TIME!

My husband and I choose Turntable Events for our wedding on June 7, 2014. My husband and I had first heard Deejay At a friends wedding and new that turntable events was a must! At our wedding Deejay A-Game and Spencer's connection with the guests was unmistakable. While Andrew was on the stage mixing up music Spencer was on the floor Emceeing! Deejay A-Game was amazing! He was able to feel the energy of the crowd and pleased all guest with his music selection and mixing abilities. Young and old guests danced together on the floor the ENTIRE Night.

Looking back on our wedding video we noticed there was not a person was sitting the entire reception. Even my 72 year old grandma danced for hours. Apart from the amazing music, emceeing and overall vibe of Turntable Events the uplighting took our reception site and photos to the next level. Spencer was incredibly knowledgable in advising my husband and I on what colors would work best with our venue and where to place the up lighting to maximize the potential of our reception site. Additionally, we choose to use a textured pattern on the ceiling of our venue. The texture had guests looking up and commenting on the ceiling all evening.

Lastly, Turntable Events was easy and flexible to work with. Spencer was very knowledgable about our venue and several other venues we were debating between. He was able to advise us on what to do and what not to do. Originally, my husband and I thought the most important part of our wedding would be the venue. We have been to 10 weddings this year and none of the Deejays or up lighting compared to Turntable Events. Most of the Deejays didn't know how to transition songs, or get people up and dancing, or appeal to the entire crowd. To this day we are still getting compliments from our guests about our Deejay. You want everybody celebrating and having fun with you and Turntable Events is the company to get the party started.

Spencer from Turntable Events (and his assistant, whose name I didn't catch during the craziness of the day - sorry!!! - but was also great) beyond exceeded our expectations, and made our wedding the killer dance party we always hoped it would be. We don't have a ton of experience with picking party music and didn't have a ton of very strong preferences, so we told him a bit about our tastes and what we had liked or didn't like at weddings we had been to, and let him do his thing. The music was fantastic, people danced constantly, and our guests have repeatedly raved to us in the time since. A HUGE highlight was the "last dance" - which was more like a last blowout, as the last song became a last two or three, with such a high energy level that I really think every single person there was on the floor. People were singing along, jumping like crazy, throwing my husband into the air (really!)...it was fantastic.

From a logistic standpoint, their planning guides and forms, the pre-wedding call that week, and the check-ins throughout the night made everything SO easy. It was everything we hoped for and more. Seriously, the best DJ we've ever seen. I would recommend them to ANYONE for ANY event that you want to be a party. Thank you so much, Spencer!

Working with Spencer and Turntable Events was easily the best decision we made for our wedding. From start to finish, Spencer took the time to ensure all of our needs were met. We met with him roughly 7 months before the wedding so that he could get to know us, what we were looking for and address any questions we had. After that meeting we were certain he would do a great job. If you are anything like me, you feel music is the key to a great wedding. We didn't just want a wedding...we wanted a party! And Andrew at Turntable Events helped make that happen. After our first dance, he had the dance floor PACKED, and it remained that way until the end. It was exactly how we wanted it to be!

Prior to the wedding, we were a little worried about being able to balance all of our guests' different music tastes. We were in GREAT hands with Andrew! He knew exactly how to balance the music to keep everyone happy (and dancing)!!

Another thing that was important to us was we did not want a cheesy DJ - Andrew was NOT cheesy at all. He was honestly perfect, and I cannot stress that enough. Sometimes you go to a wedding and most of the guests are sitting at their tables all night instead of getting out on the dance floor. Spencer of Turntable Events made sure that wasn't the case. As soon as dinner was finished, everyone was out having a great time. His song selections and enthusiasm made for an incredible evening that our family and friends have been raving about ever since. I suppose I’ll start by saying that it is absolutely 100% true when people say, “A DJ can make or break your wedding reception.” Our wedding was an absolute blast for each of our guests regardless of the wide range of ages BECAUSE of Turntable Events. The one thing we’re hearing over and over again is “YOUR DJ NAILED IT!” Guests danced their butts off from the start to the end. My original review is 2X too long, so I'll try my best to keep the rest of the review short and to the point. I apologize for the choppiness!:

Immediately after the first dance, Spencer HOOKED guests and held them to the dance floor.
Do the uplighting package. It completely adds to the mood and Spencer was able to change it from his booth. Also - he was able to find a custom color for us. :-)
Spencer combined intuition and skill to play songs that were appropriate for every single moment of the night for every single guest -- Few DJs can make this work!
When Spencer addressed the audience, he made it personal, and that really impressed our guests (us too!!).
TTE was never cheesy or inappropriate; TTE was professional, entertaining, and all around wonderful.
One of our favorite things was that Spencer updated us and checked on us every ~45 minutes.
Every song we requested on the planner worksheets was played; The No-Play list remained unplayed.
Spencer went above and beyond to locate a very specific remix/mash-up for our entrance.
Email communication was always timely and TTE was more than happy to speak over the phone.
Spencer showed genuine excitement and confidence which put us at ease. TTE was the least stressful part of our planning.
*Spencer double-checked name pronunciation prior to announcing the bridal party!*

We described our vision and they made it happen, but 1000 X better than we could have even dreamed. If you work with Turntable Events, you will be in the best hands out there and they will surely make your reception one for the books!

"Spencer The Great" should be his name because he made our wedding pure MAGIC!!!!!! We hired Turntable events a good year before our wedding based on reviews and when we first met with Spencer we was attentive, responsive and completely on board with all of our crazy ideas! Nothing was unobtainable for him and anything we said we wanted him to do was no problem at all. Keep in mind that our wedding wasn't an easy one to execute. We had about 7 different entrance songs for our whole bridal party, a surprise entrance for us, outside fireworks that we needed specific music played through a wireless speaker, a guest performer during dinner and a specific music list for certain times throughout the night! So with that tall order my husband and I can honestly say our wedding day went FLAWLESSLY all thanks to Spencer and Andrew. Everything we asked for and went over with Spencer prior to was PERFECT on our wedding day and he and Andrew hosted the most fun yet classy wedding our guests say they have ever been to. They kept the party going ALL night long and knew the appropriate times to turn it up and tone it down. They followed everything we wanted them to do and all of our surprises throughout the night went off with out a hitch all thanks to them. Our guests were raving for weeks to come how we had the best DJ ever!!! We can't thank Turntable Events enough for making our wedding day one that we will never forget! Book these guys for your wedding, they have all 5 stars for a reason! They are kind, personable, funny, reliable, professional and beyond talented! Thank you, thank you, thank you Spencer and Andrew for making our wedding day the best day of our lives!!!!

Finding the right DJ was crucial for the wedding. I like to have a good time/party and a DJ's music selection and timing of when they play songs is important to making sure a party is fun. Turntables website first attracted me and I thought I would give Spencer a call, he was low pressure and answered all my questions. I tried to gauge whether he would be a good MC and confidently talk to all my guests (which some of them can be loud and obnoxious) and I felt he could. He bounced some song ideas of me based on what I said he liked as well to seal the deal. The day of the event was perfect, all the songs I requested were played at the best timing possible and he used the songs as guides to figure out what else to play. We got the up lighting as well (highly recommended, seems expensive at first but it really makes a difference). Overall there wasn't one issue and EVERYONE WAS DANCING THE WHOLE TIME. Pick up the phone and call, best move you can make; then you can cross of that item.

Spencer and Turntable Events absolutely made our wedding! We did a phone interview with Spencer about 9 months before our wedding and were so excited after that initial conversation that we booked Turntable immediately. What a great decision. During the week before the wedding, Spencer walked us through the day of logistics from start to finish. He made sure he personalized every detail of the wedding. On the day of, he did a great job of getting the crowd excited, playing music that kept them excited, and making sure to incorporate all of our requests. Turntable events could not have been better to work with, and I would highly recommend them for anybody looking to have a good time at their wedding.

Spencer and his staff are by far the most knowledgable, helpful, talented and most importantly fun group of people we had the pleasure of having help host our wedding! It was incredibly easy and stress free working with Spencer, no issues at all. Every song that we requested be played was with no need for a request/reminder. Spencer really is THE BEST at what he does, I've never seen a DJ be so dedicated to bringing non stop fun. I wish I could go back and be in that moment. Spencer and Alex of Turntable Events were the DJ’s for our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with the job they did. Spencer made the planning easy - he asked the right questions, and gave us all the information to make the day of stress free (we barely had to speak). Spencer and Alex arrived ahead of time, was was set up with plenty of time to spare. The equipment provided during our ceremony was perfect for what we needed. During the reception, everything went flawlessly - the introductions, the first dance, and the toasts were timed perfectly with absolutely no equipment issues (feedback, etc). The song selection during the reception was perfect - they kept everyone dancing for more than 4 hours. We were told by multiple people that they never used our photobooth because they couldn't get off the dance floor. If you want guaranteed flawless entertainment for your wedding, go with Turntable Events.

Spencer was the first DJ we met, and from the first meeting, he was professional, friendly, funny, and put both of us at ease. We met with a few other DJs and none of them even compared! Some of the DJs were too corny, club-y /techno-y, or not as professional. We wanted a DJ that would play a mix of new music and old and incorporate some indie music that we listen to. Spencer had no doubts about maintaining an awesome party without drowning out people from talking, and incorporating all the music we love.

The week before the wedding, we submitted our music list. Spencer answered all of our questions and welcomed our input. The suggestions he made were perfect. The wedding reception was amazing thanks to Spencer and Andrew! I remember my wife and I both looking out to the dance floor two minutes into the wedding and couldn’t believe how many people were dancing – it was packed non-stop until the end of the night. We even saw a great-aunt get up and dance! The music wasn’t blaring so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation at the table. And Spencer was an awesome emcee as well. We wanted an emcee that was present, funny and positive, but not obnoxious – he was all those things and more. Spencer came out to greet our parents, the groomsmen and bridesmaids, and made sure he was able to pronounce everyone’s names. Spencer and Andrew just let the party continue to grow throughout the night, and went out with a bang with an encore!

The wedding was truly amazing, and we owe a lot of that to Spencer and Andrew. We’ve seen a lot of friends since who genuinely tell us that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. My uncle told me that was the most fun he’s had at a wedding since his own wedding 30 years ago! We had the best night of our lives and we really can’t thank Spencer, Andrew, and Turntable Events enough! Do not miss the opportunity to have them DJ/emcee your wedding. It will be the best decision you make!!!

Spencer with Turntable Events was absolutely fantastic! On my first phone conversation with him, I told him to just go ahead and send me the contract after about 5 minutes. I knew I didn't need to talk to anyone else. I live in MA but got married in NY, so it was difficult for me to meet with vendors in person. In spite of Spencer's busy schedule, he still found time to meet with me and work around when was convenient for me, no questions asked. And meeting with him in person just solidified how good I felt after talking to him on the phone. He has an awesome personality and after telling him a bit about the type of person I am and the kind of music I'm into, he told me how excited he was to be doing my wedding. It made me feel so great knowing my DJ was just as excited as I was! About 5 months before the wedding, I received my "DJ Planning Toolkit," which gave me all the info I needed and gave me a head's up as to what information I was going to need to provide Spencer for the day of. As a habitual planner and someone who likes to get things done ahead of the game, this really went a long way with me and helped me to focus on compiling only the necessary information. 2 days before the wedding I had my walk-through call with Spencer where we went through everything - all song choices, when each song was to be played, and Spencer painstakingly made sure he had the pronunciations of everyone's names correct. The day of, everything was absolutely perfect. Spencer played every song on my play list and there wasn't a moment when the dance floor was empty, except for dinner, and I felt like my guests wanted to hurry up and eat so they could get back up and dance! Everyone just kept raving about how great the DJ was and how they'd never been to a wedding where the dancing started immediately and never stopped! I told Spencer I wanted my wedding to be like my own personal rock concert - and I felt just like a rock star! He created the perfect vibe and was just awesome!

Andrew (A-Game) was the DJ at our wedding in early September. He was AMAZING! Seriously, this guys is a pro. He was comfortable on the microphone and an excellent party host. But more importantly, he knows how to get a group on the dance floor and keep them there. Our wedding was pretty splintered on music tastes..between classic wedding songs, oldies, hip hop, 80s, country, reggae...but Andrew seamlessly transitioned between genres so that EVERYONE was having a great time. We got so many compliments on the music, and we were even asked for his contact information from 3 different guests who wanted to hire him for their events. He is truly a great DJ, and I highly recommend him for any event you are planning. Thank you Andrew!

My husband and I met at the college radio station in the rock department, so music at our wedding was EXTREMELY important to us. With that said, Turntable Events far surpassed our wedding music expectations and did such a fantastic job! Being music connoisseurs, we had A LOT of suggestions on what to play and what not to play, and Spencer perfectly followed what we requested! In addition to our suggestions, Turntable's own music additions were totally impressive and kept our guests on the dance floor the whole time! We got so many compliments on how good our music was for all ages, and still do! Since our wedding was on a Sunday during the day, I was concerned about our guests dancing, but the music was so good that everyone couldn't help but dance! Turntable did our ceremony music as well, which was also amazing! If you're looking for good wedding music that is not cheesy to get ALL of your guests on the dance floor, you will be glad you went with Turntable Events! There is probably not enough space for me to describe how AWESOME and amazing Spencer and his staff are. He was super attentive to my song choices, my husband and I's personalities, correct name pronunciation, etc, etc. At the same time he offered suggestions from his experience on how to make the reception AMAZING and it was. We cannot count how many people came up to us or our parents and said it was 1 of the best wedding receptions they've ever been to, and a lot of that credit should go to Spencer. DJ Andrew and Turntable Events were absolutely wonderful, and I strongly recommend them to anyone who wants great music at their wedding (even over a band, if you're considering that option as well). Andrew is incredibly nice and was easy to work with leading up to the wedding; he carefully laid out all the options we had in terms of sound, lighting, music, etc., and he never tried to "upsell" us to the most expensive packages (and, in fact, was honest about items he thought we wouldn't necessarily need). He was happy to accept a (very lengthy) list of requested songs for our wedding, and in fact encouraged it. He worked well with the other vendors at the wedding (both our photographer and chef complimented Andrew highly and enjoyed working with him). The music at the wedding was flawless. The cocktail hour music was tasteful, never overly loud, and the mix of songs we had requested. During the reception, Andrew's talent as a DJ shined. He perfectly handled his MC responsibilities for entrance, cake cutting, etc., never coming off as cheesy or annoying, and he charmed everyone. His sense of what type of music to play and when to play it was perfect, he used most of the songs we requested, and the songs he chose to fill in the gaps were all appropriate and consistent with the type of music we expected. Everyone at our wedding, young and old, ended up dancing the night away. Beyond the fact that I had a great time, I knew DJ Andrew was a smashing success by the fact that friends and family came up to me immediately after the wedding to tell me how Andrew was the best wedding DJ they'd ever experienced (and I still hear that from people many months later). Put simply, Andrew was even better than we had hoped, and the best DJ we could have asked for.

Andrew & Turntable Events created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. I sent him my “play” list a few days before the wedding, and Andrew created a wedding playlist specific to our tastes. In addition to playing so many great songs, Andrew went above & beyond the scope of his DJ obligations. He helped to get the bridal party outside for formal pictures, and he actually noticed when I was cornered by some long-winded guests during the reception. He politely came over to “interrupt” and made sure I was able to get out there and dance. The dancefloor was packed for most of the night with guests of all ages. Everyone I talk to comments on how much fun they had and what a great mix of music Andrew played.

I couldn’t be happier with my choice in a DJ, and I would definitely recommend Turntable Events to anyone looking for a DJ. Don’t waste your time researching DJ’s, just book Turntable- you won’t be disappointed!

We just have to tell you what a great time we had working with you on Friday. Leading up to the big day you were always easy to correspond with via email and of course acted so professionally but also treated us in a way that made us feel so comfortable and confident to be working with you. We are writing this letter to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the amazing wedding experience that you provided for us and our guests. You were an absolute pleasure to work with. You were always so helpful and positive throughout the whole planning process. You were so patient with us when we kept bothering you for meetings about songs and playlists, telling us not to worry, we have plenty of time. You definitely calmed our nerves and helped us to simply enjoy the planning process. On the day of the wedding, you felt like part of the family. You were so calm and excited to be there and to be dj-ing our wedding. The music was awesome! You knew exactly what songs to play and of course, those not to play. I heard a guest requested Michael Jackson and was very disappointed by your response of "sorry man, I can't, it's on the 'no play list!' " Haha. Good thing it was because he somehow convinced a waiter to give him white gloves and he was all prepared to do a MJ dance in the middle of the dance floor...oh boy! LOL. During and after the wedding, all of our guests approached us saying how awesome the wedding is/was and how they had so much fun... "your dj was fantastic!" All we could say was "yes, yes he is!" In our first conversation we told you all we wanted was for a great party...well, you definitely, without a doubt, gave us that! People are still talking about our wedding and how much fun it was. I am Portuguese and my husband is Dominican, so we were concerned about finding a DJ that could accommodate both our cultural music as well as mix in American music and keep a party atmosphere. Upon meeting Spencer, we knew we could trust him to do the job. He did an amazing job blending both our cultural music, and adding American seamlessly. Our guests were up dancing the whole night.

We are so glad we choose Spencer and Turntable Events for our wedding. It was all we imagined and more and most of it is due to Spencer. Great guy, and great DJ!

I can’t say enough about how incredible Spencer and Alex from Turntable Events are; they’re one of the key pieces that held our wedding together and made it such a successful celebration. It truly was an evening that we’ll never forget.

Finding a DJ was one of the tasks assigned to me (the groom) as I have both an appreciation for music and mixing and strong opinions about selection. I was also looking for a DJ that used turntables and not just a laptop. I found Turntable Events via Google rather quickly and read many excellent reviews. After our venue was confirmed, we booked them.

Fast forward nearly a year to late-October 2012: as we’re finalizing our song-list to send to Spencer, Hurricane Sandy began tearing it’s way through New York City leaving much of downtown (and our wedding venue) without power. We held out hope all week that power would be restored for our Saturday wedding, but come Friday morning our venue was still dark and we had to make alternative plans. We were lucky enough to find a venue that had power and could accommodate our wedding on such short notice. We were also lucky enough to have hired Turntable Events because they were more than happy to venture into the city, to a different venue, to party with us.

The dance floor was packed all night and the selection (and progression) of music was spot on. Alex even played a vinyl copy of our first dance song that I had brought which I’m keeping as a memento. Many guests later commented specifically on the quality of music; my mother, unprovoked, asked how I had found such a great DJ.

The bottom line is Spencer and his staff are not only dedicated to their craft, but equally dedicated to their clients. Without Turntable Events our wedding would not have been the party we had set out to throw for our family and friends. Thanks to them it was.

used Turntable Events for my October 7, 2012 wedding and I could not be happier with that decision. Of all the vendors we used for our wedding, Spencer was THE BEST! He was so easy to work with and helpful, 100% understood our vision for the wedding, and delivered the CRAZIEST DANCE PARTY of my life. Our guests are still raving about the music at the wedding and many of them have asked for Spencer's info so he can DJ their weddings. Spencer from Turntable Events was amazing to work with! He was professional and personable. He has a real fun outlook to weddings, and it's clear his goal is for the guests to have a good time! Prior to my wedding, I hired Turntable Events to DJ my company's summer party, and they were fabulous! Alex was the DJ for that particular event, and he was professional and curtious while keeping my co-worker's moving to the music. I had asked that they please keep the music choices appropriate for a corporate event, and Alex did just that. In contrast, I had a conversation with Spencer letting him know that he could turn up the heat for the wedding...and that's exactly what we got! Andrew was the DJ for our wedding, and he was excellent! Between Spencer's MC skills and Andrew's spinning, the party was pumping and guests were on the dance floor from beginning to end!! So many of our guests complemented our DJ and said that it was a great party! Exactly what we wanted. Spencer also did equipment set-up for our outdoors ceremony, and it was perfect...and all for a very reasonable price. I would recommend Turntable Events highly, and I would hire them again!! Spencer Potter (Turntable Events) was absolutely fantastic. He was referred to us from a friend and we are so grateful that he was. Leading up to the wedding, he was extremely professional, kind and flexible with everything he did. He'd email us just to say how excited he was for the wedding (my own friends didn't even do that!). He also called my wife to make sure he could pronounce the last names of everyone in the wedding party. Not many people do that and it was much appreciated (we definitely had some difficult last names!).

On the actual wedding day, he went beyond expectations. He did our cocktail hour and played appreciate music for the occasion. Then, we had asked him to play different entrance music for each couple of the wedding party he played them flawlessly (on time, perfect part of the song, etc). During the actual reception, his song choices were great and they really brought the mood of the party. We had people on the dance floor all night and it wasn't just the younger crowd, everyone joined in.

My favorite part of the night was when he told everyone it was the last song of the night and then proceeded to play 3 songs after that as an encore. It really capped off the night perfectly.

If you want to truly enjoy your night and not worry about your DJ, pick Spencer. He's fantastic and he will absolutely take care of you.

What can I say, everyone loved Spencer at Turntable Events! He played the best music, which was appropriate for all age groups and had everyone dancing. People couldn't believe how many people were on the dance floor the entire night! He knew exactly what to play, how nice it was not to have to worry about it.

I believe the DJ is the most important part of the reception. And I am so glad I went with Spencer and Turntable Events!! He was amazing and really knows what he is doing. I live in Maryland and had my wedding in New York, so we only spoke over the phone and through email. His response time to emails and calls were fantastic!! You are able to make a list of song you want, but we did not want to give him too many and wanted him to do what he does!! It was a great idea!! He reads the crowd and knows how to get people up on the floor. We had the best time and it was the most fun we have ever had. Spencer kept us dancing all night long and my family and friends had a great time with him making requests!!! Spencer did the music for the wedding and my reception and he did not miss a beat. He did everything according to my specifications and it was amazing!! They are fun and you would be hard pressed to find a better DJ for your event!!

Turntable events provided such an outstanding dj service for our wedding this past June. They really did an amazing job and some guests even said it was the best music they had ever heard at a wedding. We loved all the song choices and they did a great job getting everyone up dancing. Spencer was very helpful throughout the whole process and was more than willing to work with our specific needs for our wedding. I'm so glad we decided to choose Turntable events for our wedding - they really contributed to our night being as wonderful as it was.

We just wanted to thank you for the outstanding job that you did at our wedding on June 8th! We were so pleased with everything and couldn’t have asked for the entire evening to come together any better than it did. No one at my wedding sat....ever....it was a pure 5 hour non-stop dance party and that is all thanks to Spencer and Alex from Turntable Events! I had to escort my 10 year old nephew off the dance floor to get water (the kid was purple from dancing) and he was fighting me the whole way "but i NEED to DANCE!" These guys made our wedding the party we had always dreamed of. My husband had a DJing company with a bunch of the groomsmen in high school and they were all floored by how good these guys were.

Most of all, they listened to every one of our requests, we've heard nightmares about DJs doing their own thing and ignoring the wishes of the couple, not these guys...they did EVERYTHING we asked, even surprising me with my father daughter dance (my dad had recorded a song for me and they worked with him as well!).

They even took video that they sent to me and they're getting me a copy of the playlist so that we can replay it over and over again.

I can't recommend these guys enough - they were absolutely incredible and I want to do it all over again!!

We are so pleased to say that Turntable events literally MADE our wedding what it was! It started as a room filled with love and excitement, and Spencer took it to the next level by helping all of us let loose and really cherish each moment. The dance floor was constantly packed using music that fit each component of the night amazingly! From the perfectly timed ceremony music to the broad range of songs that kept everyone dancing until the last minute (everyone raved about the music montage at the end of the night!), it was clear that Spencer's skill combined with personable and attentive service are unmatched. Turntable Events did an amazing job at our wedding. Spencer & Andrew played the type of music we asked for and more. They were on time, outgoing, and very personable. I had never met them until my wedding day, which any bride would have reservations about, but they put all of my nerves at ease and I was beyond thrilled with the outcome. They were also very easy to communicate with through e-mail and always responded in a timely manner. My family is STILL talking about how great the music was, and it's been over a month since we got married! I would highly recommend this company, and specifically Spencer & Andrew for any wedding or event. They take good care of their clients, and I will always be thankful for their services.

Turntable Events truly made our reception! Guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night, and we received the most compliments for the high-energy atmosphere they created. If you would have told me that my aunts, uncles, and great aunts and uncles would be dancing...I never would have believed it. I truly thought only the younger guests would stay all night, but we had a full house until the end. And I loved that Spencer would only take requests from the Bride and Groom! This was a destination wedding, but Spencer made planning very easy and walked us through everything. He showed up the day-of and everything was simply easy and fun.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and it wouldn't have been the same without the stellar entertainment provided by Spencer and Turntable Events. Spencer was such a delight to work with. He's every responsive and accommodating. The whole process was simple, from the booking to the song selection- having an element of the wedding be seamless was so helpful- because we all know how stressful wedding planning can be! Andrew from Turn Table Events was truly amazing for so many reasons. First let me say that our wedding was during the snow storm on October 29th. To say that a few things went wrong is a bit of an understatement. Our venue lost power and the generator was not working. Andrew had an incredibly positive attitude and improvised by playing our ceremony music on his laptop. Our first dance was a little remnicent of the movie say anything. He held up his laptop so that everyone could hear our song while we danced. Miraculously a generator starting working and he was able to play one speaker for the rest of the night. You couldn't even tell it was one speaker. He knew the crowd needed a release and played awesome music. I seriously think everyone there was on the dance floor. He read the crowd incredibly well and knew what would keep them dancing. I had a bunch of people come up to me to say he was THE BEST DJ EVER. Even the event manager said she couldn't wait to recommned him! Andrew had an amazing positive energy about him and I would without a doubt recommend him.

I just got married 3 days ago and am still on cloud 9 at how well it went. I hired Turntable Events to DJ my wedding and Spencer was fantastic!!! I had people coming up to me all night (including my grandmother) saying how much fun they were having and how amazing the music was.
Spencer with Turntable Events exceeded all my expectations. I found Turntable Events online while researching Wedding DJ's through multiple wedding websites and I kept finding that Turntable Events had rave reviews. I was a bit hesitant hiring someone that I found online rather then through referrals but soon after meeting Spencer I was so confident that he was going to be the perfect DJ for our wedding. He was so easy to talk to and professional that my fiance hired him on the spot.
He made my wedding a blast! We danced from the time it started till the time it ended! He played music that everyone of all ages can relate to and as the night went on and the older folks left he adjusted the music to entertain the younger party crowd.
Spencer was also very communicative, throughout the night he kept checking in with me and seeing how I felt the crowd was liking the music, if we had any requests and if there was anything else he could do.
I am so happy that I chose Spencer, I will tell anyone and everyone who's looking for a DJ to have Turntable Events. If your getting married and looking for a DJ Turntable Events is what you want to go with!

EVERYTHING about Spencer and Turntable Events was amazing. This was the only vendor that I chose that was not based on reviews from friends or family and I knew I had made the right decision when I first spoke with him. Everything was just so easy when dealing with Spencer. I didn't let him know final music choices until about a week before. Let me just say this.... I probably didn't even HAVE to give him music choices. He delivered perfect music ALL NIGHT. He knew exactly when to play each song he picked at the perfect time. He had every single family member & friend out on that dance floor. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Turntable Events for your wedding.

Oh, and may I add this..... definitely go with the uplighting. It lit up our room so well. They have the capability to change the colors with the click of a button from the DJ booth. It's amazing, he is amazing, and your wedding will be unforgettable with Turntable Events.

I couldn’t be happier with choosing Turntable Events for my wedding on October 1, 2011! Andrew was absolutely amazing! I felt very comfortable after first meeting him and trusted he would do an incredible job. However, I had no idea just how incredible he would do!! My friends and family cannot stop talking about how amazing my DJ was. The dancing started during cocktail hour and didn’t stop until guests were practically kicked out. Andrew played an amazing mix of music that no one could stop dancing to! He had great energy and was dancing as much as we were. Spencer was amazing from beginning to end! Everyone raved about the music and the personalities of Spencer and his second DJ. Music was awesome and the crowd was on the floor ALL NIGHT (even people that we've never seen dance before!)

Wow. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Spencer and Turntable Events. We had great communication before our wedding. We discussed playlists, songs, music genres and the must-play/do not play list at great measure to ensure we had an amazing night. Spencer also sat down with us a week before the wedding at our venue to lay out most of the night and we decided to go with really cool purple uplighting and light up DJ booth.
The lighting was also an amazing addition and really added to the party atmosphere. I am so glad we decided to go with the lighting package!
I must say that Spencer and Sharif took our wedding to the next level with their outstanding selections and playlist for both the cocktail hour and night.They played our songs mixed in with suggestions of their own to make everything absolutely perfect. Think huge party professionals all the way!
I would totally reccommend Turntable Events to anyone looking for a DJ...we were married 3 months ago and we are literally still getting compliments about how awesome a wedding we had and how great the music was. Everyone was dancing ALL night long and everyone had such an awesome time. This literally has been called over and over "THE BEST WEDDING EVER" and the music had everything to do with that!

I rarely post comments on websites, however the high from our wedding is still there from a few weeks ago. Our wedding was fantastic and the music and energy were perfect. Spencer and his team were amazing. We had a total dance party wedding while still being classy and traditional- it met all our expectations and more.
