Rebecca and Jesse were exceptional - talented, detail-oriented, and so supportive throughout the entire day. Beyond capturing beautiful images, they helped with timing, coordination, and little moments we didn’t even realize we needed. We felt completely taken care of and the photos are stunning. -

This review is a bit overdue as we got married back in 2024, but we highly recommend working with Turnquist Collective for our wedding.
Engagement Photos- I was a bit nervous about taking photos as I am not one to really like getting my photo taken, but Rebecca made the experience effortless-- I even ended up having a lot of fun! Our engagement photos were unforgettable as Rebecca hiked with us to an awesome location and captured some truly spectacular photographs.
During our wedding weekend, you could tell that Rebecca and Jesse were always ready to capture the perfect moment. The photos were the perfect blend of posed and candid, and the wedding video we received was spectacular, I still can't get through it without crying my eyes out!
Highly recommend this awesome husband and wife team, and we hope that we will get to work with them again to capture other important moments in our lives! -

Amazing experience!
I knew I wanted Turnquist to photograph our wedding after my best friend had Rebecca do her maternity and newborn shoots. The photos were so beautiful, there was no question - I had to hire her for my wedding. I reached out to Rebecca before we even set a date and we planned an engagement shoot. A couple weeks later we decide to just jump in and get married the week of Thanksgiving. Rebecca didn’t even flinch and was right on board. We opted for a micro wedding - about 40 guests. Rebecca met with us at our venue to brainstorm, discuss timing, and scope out photo worthy locations a few weeks before the big day. Rebecca is focused and confident in her work - which we really appreciated. She braved ice cold temps and high winds to get absolutely breathtaking photos for us. We received our photos in a timely manner and were speechless at the quality and quantity of material she was able to capture in such a short, “micro wedding” timeframe. Our friends and family have told us they had tears in their eyes reliving the day through the photos. I can’t wait to display her beautiful work in our home because her photographs are truly works of art capturing the emotion of the day. Also shoutout to Jesse for making it easy to access our contract and view and pay our invoice! So thankful we chose Turnquist to capture our wedding day and we look forward to working with them again in the future! -

We are so happy Turnquist Photography was recommended by our day of wedding planner. Our original wedding date was scheduled for May of 2020, which, due to the pandemic, turned into a small civil ceremony on June 5th, 2020. We finally had our wedding reception on June 5th, 2021. Throughout all of this, Rebecca was kind, caring, and attentive. And, in the midst of the pandemic, she came to take photos of our outdoor civil ceremony. Her professional and creative abilities are amazing in that she always had a vision, and captured special moments that might otherwise be forgotten. We so appreciate all she did to make us feel comfortable. We’re excited to see the final gallery for the wedding reception, as the sneak peeks are amazing. Thank you Rebecca, for creating such beautiful forever memories, and being by our side on the journey from the gorgeous engagement photos taken in the fall of 2019, to the abbreviated civil ceremony, to the final joyous reception.

Elevated, Well-Curated, and Brings It All To Life!
Look no further, you’ve found the perfect duo of photographer and videographer! Just look at the portfolio on Instagram @turnquistcollective! The photographs did not just capture the raw emotion (which they definitely did), but also everything the way I saw it, the ambience, the feeling, the everything. If you’re on the fence about video, I fully heartily recommend. You will never recall your wedding day quite like a the video does, and it stirs all the emotions of why you are with the person, you are meant to be with, for the rest of your life. The photographs are elevated, well curated, and paint the picture of your day, and the video brings it all to life! -

the BEST duo!!!!
Although our wedding was not recent, my husband and I are always looking back at our photos and never EVER get tired of it, because Rebecca and Jesse made it so easy to relive our day with the most gorgeous photos and video. Their beautiful photos of our wedding were featured in Strictly Weddings along with many other vendors who shared their amazing work. Not only did they give us the best memories to look back on, we also developed a friendship and comfort that we never knew we'd have with our photographers. We can't recommend them enough for wedding/family/lifestyle photos because every session we have had with them has been just as perfect as the last. Thank you Jesse & Rebecca!!! -

As we all know wedding planning is stressful . Finding a good photographer was one of the most important things for me. Upon our first meeting with Rebecca she put my mind at ease and worked well with my husband and I. She handled our different point of views very well and came up with very good solutions to meet both of our needs. Our photographer Jesse was amazing, my husband and I hate getting pictures taken and he made both of us very comfortable where we actually started to enjoy it. The pictures came out amazing and he made sure we got the pictures we needed while still being able to enjoy our wedding day. I highly recommend them! -

Jesse and Rebecca were beyond amazing. Their contribution to our incredible day (both wedding photos and engagement photos) went way beyond the absolutely beautiful photos they took. Rebecca was so thoughtful and responsive during the entire process, even helping us with design and dress choices for the wedding. During our engagement shoot, which had begun as a very stressful day for a million reasons, Jesse seamlessly turned what could have been a really difficult day into something truly magical. Both she and Jesse felt more like welcome guests than photographers. Their easy manner, effortless professionalism, and depth of experience made the stressful time crunch of staged photos a breeze and their infectious joy banished all wedding jitters. I truthfully could not speak more highly of them both and it was truly one of the best decisions we made. -

Our friends used Turnquist Photography when they got married upstate. We not only loved their work but also really liked them as people. When it came time for us to get married, while we didn't get married locally to them we knew they would be the perfect match for documenting our day. We weren't wrong. Not only are the photos incredible but they are just really great people. Not only on the day but from our first engagement shoot with Jesse to the days leading up to our wedding our experience was nothing short of amazing. These are the photographers you should go with. 100% best decision we made other then obviously getting married. -

From big moments to small and everything between—somehow though we couldn’t be everywhere at once, Rebecca was.
An oh the photos! The make us smile, laugh, cry, screech, and jump up and down photographs. It isn’t just that they are stunning, professional and artistic...or that she finds the intrinsic beauty in everything...It’s the spark, the spontaneity, the empathy she clearly feels with her subject that shines throughout her work.
Rebecca and Jessie were also absolutely delightful from the moment we first contacted them. We could not have been happier with our decision to have them photograph one of the most important moments of our lives. -

We loved working with Rebecca and we're very happy with the results. Rebecca emphasizes candid, casual shots over formal photos, and she really did a great job of fading into the background on our wedding day. She made us comfortable and relaxed so that we could just be ourselves in the photos. We got plenty of amazing photos from the day, and we love the many printed copies that now decorate our walls.
