My experience with the True Beauty team was flawless! Since first reaching out the communication was easy and clear and I felt that my needs/wants were always being listened to. On the day of my wedding Andrea, Karla, and Lea were without a doubt the DREAM TEAM. My bridal party felt so taken care of and loved their hair and makeup. My own hair and makeup exceeded my expectations. I felt like such a bride but was also happy with the fact that I looked like myself! Andrea, Karla, and Lea brought such calm and happy vibes and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!! -

The team at True Vermont Beauty was absolutely incredible! I enjoyed the entire experience, from our early communication to my bridal trial to the morning of my wedding! Every one of my bridesmaids was pleased with their hair and make up as well as with the conversation and environment the morning of my wedding. I was so happy with my hair and make up on my wedding day! The team made sure to ask for my opinion and make adjustments (which were not really needed because of how incredible their work was). I could not recommend them enough! -

If you’re looking for a perfect wedding morning with an amazing hair and makeup team- True Vermont Beauty is it. Liesel, Andrea, and Lea made sure our morning was seamless and on time. They work so well together, asking for each other’s opinions and assistance to get everyone looking and feeling their best. We had a larger group and the way they worked together as a team made the morning so smooth and zero chaos. Lea was a huge part of this team getting everyone prepped for their services and helping start services. She was so kind and helped everyone figure out what would look best for lip color. Andrea is a blast, we had such a great time chatting with her and her skills for doing hair are incredible. Liesel is truly a master at her craft. I’ll start by saying her communication throughout planning was instant and made me feel heard, and understood what I wanted. The trial was so fun getting to know her and I left feeling with the most trust in the team I picked. I changed a lot after my trial but was so happy because the trial truly let me understand what I wanted- and Liesel supported every change I made, I never hesitated to tell her I wanted something different and she embraced all of it. All of our bridesmaids were thrilled with their makeup- most wanting a natural look and all walked away stunning. We had a few bridesmaids ask about products and techniques to replicate the look again. It was such a nice touch that everyone gets to keep their makeup brushes too. As the bride I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup team. I felt like myself and truly beautiful all day. They are an amazing group, personable, and truly talented and I am so grateful for them! -

Working with True Vermont Beauty was wonderful from start to finish. Liesel was communicative and professional in her response to my initial inquiry, and the survey/questionnaire that was sent to me helped me and my bridesmaids start thinking about what we wanted style-wise. Andrea and Karla did both my bridal trial and were our day of artists – and they were both truly wonderful. For the trial – I was offered a variety of options and I really felt like the look I ended up with was something that was truly me that would last all day. The team also provided great logistics info like start times and when to be ready so that we had a realistic timeline to get everything done for a first look at 2PM. They also worked really well with my florist – who was providing a floral hairpiece, and worked the floral arrival time into the timeline.
Day of – Andrea and Karla were wonderful. They moved through 7 hair services and 5 makeup services, they even ran early, and everyone looked so beautiful! They were also super fun, and we had a great time chatting throughout the morning. The mood was great to say the least. My hair stayed in place until the end of the night when I took it out around midnight, and the same thing with my makeup. Everything stayed exactly as it was, no movement, no running, no smearing – which was just incredible because not only did I walk around in some light rain but it was also quite warm AND I cried several times. So – absolute kudos to this team, I can’t recommend them highly enough!

The title says it all - Leisel & Andrea were phenomenal. From day one she was extremely responsive, answering all of my detailed questions and working with me to find a time for the trial that suited my schedule. She asked all the right questions, worked with me to set a schedule for the day, and even sent a “bridesmaids guide” for me to send to my party so that they knew how to prep. My hair and makeup did not move the entire day, and me and all of my bridesmaids were thrilled with how our looks came out. Liesel made us all feel so comfortable, even my mom who was totally out of her comfort zone getting hair and makeup done! Thank you Liesel!!! -

I, and my entire wedding party, had the most incredible experience with True Vermont Beauty! Liesel is not only extremely talented in her craft, but she is also one of the kindest, most down to earth people you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting. She will approach your special day with calmness, patience, flexibility (thank you for fitting my Mom’s hair in last minute!), and attention to detail. And she will make the getting ready process SO much fun! One of the most important elements that sets Liesel apart from the rest is that she is an excellent communicator and collaborator - she truly listens and works with you, through any and all adjustments and changes. She will help you create the perfect look that will not only make you feel beyond beautiful, but also the most comfortable and confident in your own skin. And this experience isn’t just for the bride, it’s extended to the entire wedding party. All of my bridesmaids and the moms were so excited about their own looks - they’re still talking about it a month later! My hair and makeup was perfection, and despite it being a very windy and rainy day/evening, my look lasted through it all. Thank you SO much Liesel! You and Andrea made my day even more special than I could’ve ever imagined! -

Liesel’s team was professional, timely and so attuned to everyone’s needs. Even with one of my more challenging family members, they handled her difficulties with grace, kindness & class. I was so nervous going into my wedding day that how I hoped to feel about my hair and makeup was going to be difficult to execute. Instead, True Beauty VT made me feel the most beautiful I’ve EVER felt, and was so responsive to my suggestions and feedback around my color preferences. I truly appreciated so much of how they made myself and my wedding party feel on this day. It was truly the best day of my life, and in part thanks to True Beauty VT. I cannot recommend them enough. Not to mention they brought an amazing playlist that had everyone feeling playful and joyful. My hair and makeup lasted alllll day- and I mean it and my curls fell exactly how I wanted them to- and when I explained in very amateur terms how I wanted them to be different from my trial Liesel understood exactly and switched it. Not to mention- as someone with sensitive skin, even 3 days after my wedding there are no breakouts to be seen.True Beauty Associates's reply:

Liesel was great to work with. We did a trial and I was able to tell her what I wanted. She provided good direction as I am not a regular makeup wearer and did not know what I wanted. Day of she was able to accommodate my mom, MIL and all 5 of my bridesmaids. She also did a great job adding flowers to my hair! -

Liesel is truly wonderful. She made my wedding (last weekend) perfect by giving myself and my bridesmaids the best experience ever. We all looked STUNNING and the makeup and hair lasted all night long. She understood exactly what we wanted. Definitely was in the best hands possible. Liesel and her daughter were wonderful to work with! I knew I wanted an updo for my wedding, and her execution was perfect based on pictures I provided her with. I almost never wear makeup and she was so great about guiding me through everything at my trial and making sure that I looked great but not overdone. She was very flexible, and easy to work with. Liesel and her team were perfect in every way. I knew that I wanted my makeup to look natural and effortless and Liesel executed it perfectly - I felt so glamorous but completely myself. Even through the happy tears from the day and the hours of dancing at the reception, my hair and makeup still managed to look great!
I had TEN bridesmaids with different skin tones, hair types, and style preferences and each one of the girls were beaming after getting their hair and makeup done.
Liesel is a true professional and made my experience at the trial and on the wedding day so fun and enjoyable. I really felt like I discovered a hidden gem when I booked Liesel and I cannot recommend her more!True Beauty Associates's reply:

I booked True Vermont Beauty for my October wedding and I am so glad I did. I always do my own hair and make up for big events and I was worried about having someone else do it for me. I wanted to look like myself ( but a little more glam) and Liesel really listened to my vision made my bridesmaids and I look amazing!! Although my wedding was far from my house and I could't make it to my trial, she eased all of my concerns and made me feel confident. She's calm and professional and will make you feel your best! -

Working with True Vermont a heart was honestly a dream!! i had such a hard time with my curly hair and felt everyone was going to keep telling me “hair is hair” liesal and her team made me feel so comfortable and beautiful and understood my hair type was different and knew exactly how to work with it. i wish i could review them 1000 times because of how much i loved them! 10/10 wound 100% recommend!! -

Liesel did an amazing job of making me look the prettiest on my wedding day (Setmerb 17th, 2021). I am from Philadelphia. I was worried about finding a beauty artist from a place I had never been to. However, Liesel was very responsive to the messages. She asked me to share the look I would like on the day of. She did 2005 justice to what I had wanted. Even my friends commented on the makeup. She is very kind and easy to work with. My friends were late to pick me up from her place and I had no cellular network. She offered me to connect to her internet and let me stay until my friends arrive. I highly recommend True Vermont Beauty. You'll get what you want. -

Liesel was fantastic! Trying to find a vendor in the middle of pandemic was somewhat nerve-wracking but I'm so happy I found her. She was so go with the flow and did everything we asked for. I had gone up for a hair and make up trial in June - changed my mind a few times and she pivoted without hesitation morning of the wedding. Honestly I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day - isn't that every Brides wish. I highly recommend Liesel - If I had to do it over again I would choose her in a heart beat. -

Liesel was prompt and professional! She arrived earlier than expected and set right up to get started. She made the most of the space that we had and was not bothered by the chaos of setting up for the wedding that was going on nearby! Liesel was great with communicating prior to the wedding day and made helpful suggestions like getting hair extensions to ensure I got look I was imagining and even sent me brands that she knew would work well. My bridesmaids all looked fabulous and I absolutely loved my hair and make up! I couldn’t recommend Liesel more! -
