Trudy’s in Campbell is a great wedding dress shop!

I bought my wedding dress at Trudy’s in Campbell. I had excellent service while in and out of store. The ladies are highly professional and made the somewhat stressful experience of buying a wedding dress super easy and fun! My wedding dress looked like a designer gown but was less $2000. I highly recommend Trudy’s in Campbell for any bride who wants a high quality gown at a reasonable cost!

Jenn is the best!!

We had a great experience at Trudy’s and said “Yes, to the dress!” With the help of Jenn who was amazing. It was my second time trying on wedding dresses and Jenn was very attentive. All the dresses that she pulled fit the description of what we were looking for as well as the budget. She paid close attention to the details that we loved and ones that we didn’t, pulling out different dresses accordingly until finally she finally pulled out THE ONE. I definitely did not expect to have the cliche moment that you see on TV wearing this dress, but my eyes definitely did water. Excellent service and selection. Jenn is definitely great at what she does and highly recommend her as a consultant for future brides.

Wedding Wonderland

Okay, seeing as the place is HUGE, it definitely took my sister & me a fair amount of time to narrow down possible choices, but Natalie -a Pixie of a person- made the process an absolute joy! By the end of that 1st Visit, I found My Drem Dress & My Sister did soon after. If ever I had a reason to go back, I'd do so in a heartbeat!

Great Experience

The store has a very large selection of dresses in a range of styles and prices. The consultant I worked with was friendly, attentive, and understood what I was looking for. She respected my budget and was never pushy. I found a dress that was close, but not 100% it. Would absolutely recommend them.

Nicest staff

I went to several bridal shops to find my perfect dress. The staff at Trudy’s was by far my favorite and they take the time to work with you and not rush you! I found my dress originally at another place and the staff wasn’t the friendliest there and I went with Trudy’s (the price was the same). Trudy’s staff won us over!

Dream Dress!!

Trudy’s was my first appointment to look at dresses and there was no need to look any further! Our consultant Sierra was wonderful, totally targeted my vision and while we came in with genuinely no budget, my dress AND veil came out to $1,800 total! I was a barefoot bride in the redwoods and my dress went perfectly with my vibe and the feel of our wedding I love it so much. It was strapless but Trudy’s worked with me to find fabric so i could add off the shoulder cap sleeves for the ceremony. They were wonderful in every way to work with!

Love my dress!

I love Trudys brides and especially Jennifer. Jen was so patient, kind, and incredibly accommodating. She took time to listen to me and helped me find the perfect dress. I never felt pressured or like she was pushing a sale, unlike some of the other bridal shops I went to. She had an upbeat positive attitude and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. I have a hard time making decisions sometimes, but she really put me at ease. I’m so grateful for her help and guidance! I felt beautiful on my wedding day!

At first, my experience left much to be desired. Trudy's saw my review, however, and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I am happy to amend my review, as Trudy's has shown that they truly stand by their customers and their dresses. Even being an out-of-towner, my business and my opinion of them matters so much that the manager of the store personally helped me to ensure the situation was resolved in a timely manner so that I would look great at my friend's wedding. I worked with Jenn and she fit my party and I in twice that day ( we took a lunch break, while she took her next appointment), and kept a bright smile and positive attitude the whole time. Trudy's does have a very large selection and the staff is so sweet and had such nice things to say.

This is primarily for my wedding dress consultant DIDI!!!!

Didi did a amazing job with finding my dream gown. I previously shopped every where from San Diego to all over the Bay Area. Even flying out to the famous Klienfield's in NYC for my dress. But, I found my gown at Trudy's! Trudys has a AMAZING selection of gowns! I felt like a kid in a candy shop looking for my wedding gown here!

Some background, I first bought a dress at a bridal fair on impulse and realized it was not the one. I made a appointment at Trudy's and Didi first sat me down to get to know me. I told Didi of my situation and I told her I wanted a bling out dress with a mermaid cut with a fun bottom. Didi nailed it! My dress was the 2nd one I put on and was everything I asked for! I remember Didi saying to me "you know this is your dress right?" and she was right! My dress came quick and Didi even nailed my wedding veil on the first try!

I high recommend coming to Didi at Trudy's if you are looking for your wedding dress. Didi was patient and listened to everything I wanted. Especially, if you are looking for the prefect " I found the gown moment" make your appointment with Didi! Thank you Didi!

I love my Maggie Sottero wedding dress I got at Trudy's! They had so many beautiful dresses to chose from, but I was able to find the one I had in mind with a little digging. The designer happened to be on site the day of my fitting which was a nice surprise. My dress arrive 4 months earlier than expected. I was able to find the perfect veil to go with it. Both ladies that helped me for each fitting we friendly, patient, and very accommodating. Definitely the best place in the south bay for a wedding dress.

There was a very specific Sottero Midgley dress I had my eye on and Trudys had it, and close to my size - not a 4 like the other salons only seemed to have in the area. The girl who helped me offered suggestions on several other dresses in a similar style which I really liked, but not nearly as much. There was clearly a HUGE selection of dresses. They also helped my mom with her gown too! She looked stunning!

I have popped in and out of Trudy's looking at jewelry with my mom to wear with both our dresses for my wedding day. (I didn't purchase my dress here but they do carry the same designer I chose - Allure.) I ended up finding a beautiful headband that I didn't want to take off after trying it on. I hadn't made an appointment and they ordered me a brand new one and called me when it arrived. I even browsed removable tulle skirts/two piece dresses as I had thought about doing a change and they were very helpful. The consultant who rang me up for the headband and showed me the skirts (I don't remember her name) even called me a few days later letting me know she found another skirt in my budget and asked if she could make me an appointment to try it on if I was interested.

I went into Trudy's a few weeks ago with my Matron of Honor. We were not in the market to purchase or even try anything on that day, but wanted to look at colors of bridesmaid dresses to pick the designers that offered what we were looking for and such. The associate that helped us gave us excellent service even knowing we were not buying. She helped pull the colors we were looking for in each designer so we could see them as a dress (instead of just a swatch) and together with other colors or other shades of the 'same' color in a different designer. It didn't matter to her that we weren't buying, she was still super helpful.

I bought my wedding dress at Trudy's Bridal, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very helpful, patient, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They listened to my ideas and helped me find the perfect dress for the big day (well within my narrow budget!). It was organza and lace with beading, very well-made, and looked amazing. They have lots of designer dresses and a very wide selection for reasonable prices. They also had helpful recommendations for nearby tailors for alternations. I went to many different bridal stores before going to Trudy's and I wished I had started there. I was really impressed and would definitely recommend it.

I would recommend Trudy's to any bride! The consultant who helped me, DeeDee, was phenomenal. She took the time to really listen to what I liked, what I didn't like and looked through everything that I brought with me before even taking me back to the dressing room. Once we were there, she had me try on three dresses, all of which were beautiful and similar to the ones that I had brought in, but none were quite right. She had me explain to her what I did and did not like about the dresses I was trying on and for the fourth dress, she told me that she had a dress in mind and that if I was willing, she wanted me to just try it on, even though it wasn't in the photos that I had brought in. She had barely unzipped the dress and I knew it was my wedding dress. I put it on and there was no question in my mind that through her knowledge of the store's inventory and through truly listening to what I wanted, she found me the perfect dress. Everyone I brought with me was in awe when I walked out of the room and my maid of honor even said "If you don't buy that dress, I will." It is to this day the most spectacular dress I've ever seen and I cannot thank DeeDee and the team at Trudy's for helping me find it. Go to Trudy's!!!!!

I love Trudy's!

I had been to 3 other bridal stores before I found this one and I knew from the minute I walked in, I would find THE dress. I was so fortunate to work with the amazing Michelle, who didn't waste time and actually LISTENED to what I liked/wanted.
Dress came back after ordering within 2 months and also ordered my veil and belt from them.

My entire experience with Trudy's has been nothing but positive. I visited their store in December last year, and had Kim as my salesgirl. She was fantastic and listened to all the things I loved and hated, and only pulled gowns in my price range. I put all my trust in her, and she definitely delivered!

Kim encouraged me to try on gowns that I wrote off, because I didn't like the way they looked on the hanger, and she was completely honest in the most gracious way when a dress was not very flattering on me. After narrowing it down to two choices, I finally decided to try on a gown she had pulled earlier (that I had rejected). I'm so glad I did, because I fell in love with that very dress and ordered it that same day!

Trying on so many gowns in an hour can be very overwhelming, and you naturally feel discouraged when each gown doesn't give you that "This is it!" feeling, but Kim was definitely patient with me, and so kind!

I would definitely refer Trudy's (and I already have) to any brides out there!

Christine helped me pick out the wedding dress of my dreams. I told her I wanted something with lace, flowy yet form fitting, and it had to be somewhat comfortable haha. If that's not a difficult client I don't know what is! She pulled about 6 dresses for me and all but one was gorgeous, one of them looked like it was made for me. I found my dream dress that day and I have Christine to thank for it. You could tell she had been doing this a long time and had such an eye for exactly what her client needed. The selection here is so great, definitely check them out!

These girls were so helpful when trying on dresses. This is a true place to feel like you are going to get married. Standing up on the podium with your girlfriends and mom(s) is so exciting. The girls are also super helpful when you tell them what you do and don't like.

I honestly can't express what an amazing experience I had at Trudy's. I went into Trudy's with an open-mind, I probably wouldn't find anything. After 2 very dreadful experiences at David's, I was pleasantly surprised at Trudy's. When I arrived, I was accompanied by my mom, grandma, and my two sisters. They are very opinionated women. We were welcomed with beautiful greetings filled with excitement. It's very easy in the planning process to get overwhelmed and it's nice to have these experiences that this is the most exciting, beautiful time. They did just that. Right off the bat, she asked my budget. All of the dresses she showed me, were well under my budget even after taxes was under. I really appreciated that. It felt like money was very minute detail and me falling in love with a dress was more important. She asked me things I liked and did not like. She brought out the type of dresses I requested and some she suggested. My family had their opinions but in a respectful, kind way she reminded everyone this was my day. I told her no ruffles, but the dress I fell in love with has soft ruffle layered bottom. She knew what complimented my figure. I literally had the "Say Yes to the Dress" moment, I teared up and so did my family. My dress experience is probably my favorite experience through the whole process thus far. My dress is beautifully detailed and makes me feel like a princess, at a reasonable price. It's a precious moment I was able to share with my family and will cherish forever. I would always recommend Trudy's. Their experience level is phenomenal and you'll leave feeling excited and like a bride.

LOVED my dress shopping experience and the sales consultant, Shannon, was very helpful. She asked for the style dress I had in mind and my budget and made sure to stick to it. The dress I ended up buying was slightly over my budget but she made sure to point that out before I even tried it on. The shipment of my dress was very quick.

Bridesmaid dresses were also ordered from Trudy's and they were great- super accommodating! My bridesmaid found out she was pregnant after ordering the dress and Tami was still able to help us change the style an size of the dress since work hadn't started on the order yet from the designer.

Went I went into Trudy' s for my appointment I had already been to 4 other bridal shops and was the typical "Bridzilla". I met Diane who was my consultant and immediately she saw that I was in distress. She asked me to trust her and I am so lucky I did. She nailed it on the first dress! I put her first choice on...... and cried! It was undiablely the perfect dress. She was amazing and handled me like she had known me my whole life.

I have tried on about 15 dresses everywhere and I couldn't seem to find the perfect one! Either the materials look cheap, the styles are tired or there's just no wow factor. Finally, I did a walk through at Trudys, saw their gorgeous dresses and made an appointment right away. Everything I tried on were beautiful but there was this special one that I just fell in love with. I tell everyone I know who's getting married to check out Trudys first.
Quality and Price: The quality of the dress was impeccable. You would think the dress would cost more than $4000 but surprisingly it was actually half of that. It is true what they say, you would know the ONE once you've put it on.
SERVICE: The ladies at Trudys were truly wonderful. You tell them what you're looking for and they will bring the exact dresses. Their specialists work with you one on one which makes the day really special because they KNOW that it is a very important day for you. No sales talk, which I really appreciate.

Trudys was my third stop looking for my dream dress. I was looking for something unique with a vintage look and not strapless. I had a difficult time finding what I wanted until I went to Trudy's. The first dress that Didi showed me was the one. She was able to find exactly what I wanted and what would look good on my figure. I had a hard time finding something to fit me in the bust and this dress was perfect. On the day of my wedding I got so many compliments. Everyone said it was the most beautiful dress they had ever seen. I ended up saying yes to Allure 9022 ( a champagne colored dress with lace bodice, tulle skirt, and Swarovski embellishments) I felt like a princess!

The consultants and Trudy personally took time to talk to me about myself, my guy, my wedding and what I was looking for in a dress. They really listened and pulled dresses they thought were the best for me and even when they knew I had found my dress they let me keep trying on dresses until I was certain.

I found the most beautiful gown and had the best experience, I couldn't be happier with Trudys Brides they are the BEST!!!!

We got engaged in April and just celebrated our marriage this past weekend. Debby helped me find the dress, belt, and veil of my dreams. I was incredibly nervous (as most brides are) that my dress would not arrive in time for alterations to be made. Debby and Trudy assured me that everything would go off without a hitch, and it did! Trudy's Bridal did such a great job at helping me find my dress! I had to reschedule my initial appointment three times (!) but they were so nice and flexible every time I called, it was wonderful. I'm so glad I finally made it to my appointment because I had such a fun time. It's really nice in there and there are lots of dresses everywhere. I went into Trudy's pretty much expecting to leave empty handed only because I figured they only carried expensive designer dresses. I wanted to try them on to see how they looked, but didn't think I'd actually buy my dress there. Sarah, my consultant, was fabulous though! Right away she asked me what style dress I was looking for and what my budget was. I was a little embarrassed to say no more than $900, but she was totally polite and SO helpful! She picked out multiple dresses for me to try on and was so conscious of my budget on each one she brought to me. She brought me multiple dresses marked down from their original price and it worked out great for me!

I ended up finding a BEAUTIFUL dress by Pronovias that was discontinued. Original price was $1500, but I got it for $699!! Great condition and it even fit me super well...It was meant to be! The experience was great and the service was so welcoming and personal. I totally recommend checking out Trudy's to any brides out there!

I had a great time at Trudy's. My consultant was Didi and she was very easy to work with. I chose my gown after only trying on 4, as she showed me just what I was asking for, and everything she showed me was within my budget, which was great. Additionally, I am a size 14 and they had plenty of dresses in my size so I could really see what the dress looked like on me, in the size I really am. I didn't have to struggle with size 8 sample sizes here, which is a great feeling.
I chose Trudy's because a girlfriend of mine, who is not girly at all, had success here with Didi as well. It was an enjoyable and straightforward process. My dress even arrived about 4 weeks early - and I found a veil to match - and it came in at the same time as the dress. An easy and great experience.
Additionally, when I recently went for my fitting the dress fit very well and was the right size for me.

Trudy's Brides was excellent during my dress shopping experience.

History: I am a former employee of Trudy's...

... and as such I (should) know what is "best practice" for brides when trying to find the right gown.

-Like, don't bring too many people with you when trying dresses on...FAIL
-I brought waa-aay too many people and opinions with me. My dear consultant was patient with us and was good at making sure my voice was still heard.

-Don't go searching through racks and don't try too many dresses on...FAIL
After my second visit to Trudy's (and many other shops in between) I started to feel defeated. I felt confused. I felt like I'd never find the right gown and that I was never going to make up my mind. I had a couple gowns that I liked but wasn't quite convinced like others were. I nearly settled on one of the others...Just before doing so I started going through racks with my consultant. I pulled a number of dresses and we proceeded to try them on. There was one that I LOVED on the rack. However,....

-Don't try dresses on that are double your budget..
...the dress was double my budget and many sizes too small. We managed to sausage me in. and I looked terrible, but I knew it was "The Dress".
So, I ordered the dress without having any idea of what it would look like on me...

I followed the suggestion of sizing. I was told it would be there in 6 months. About 2 month later, it had already arrived. It sat in my closet for more than a year.

The dress turned out absolutely beautiful and I loved it. Thank you to Trudy and the wonderful staff.

The selection might be overwhelming but Trudy's staff knows what they were doing. The moment I stepped in it was like they already knew what i needed. The first dressed sent to me was the one i ended up going with, eventually. They handled all of my accessories and I also did the fitting with them. They're wonderful seamstress Martha actually attached the belt to my dress and even added more of the 'jewels' to extend the belt to me zipper. It ended up being a one of a kind piece that fir me literally, perfectly. Everyone said the dress was made for me. And i was SO comfortable.
All of my bridesmaids got their dresses here too and there were no issues with delivery or sizing.

I hated dress shopping. Especially in San Francisco. Everything is designed for a size tiny and I ain't tiny. I went to 2 dress shops and scheduled a third in SF, the one between the 2nd and 3rd was Trudy's. Suffice to say I never made it to that 3rd shop.

I walked into Trudy's and was Amazed at their selection and that they had more than enough dresses that I could actually try on. Not just hold up and pretend about how it may or may not look. I tried on lots of dresses and had found one that I though was it, but Didi, the woman that was helping us thought she found the perfect one. Turns out she had. It is a Maggie Sottero and she is called Karena Royale.

I opted for their in house alterations and Marta did a wonderfully amazing job on my dress. The fit is perfect and I wore the dress for over 8 hours and didn't feel like taking it off when I was all done.

Thanks to Trudy's it was another piece of perfection in the perfect day that was my wedding.

I bought my wedding dress from Trudys, and had a wonderful experience. After striking out at other salons due to not liking their dresses or not being able to stay in my price point, Trudys was a breath of fresh air. I actually ended up buying the first dress they put me in! My consultant Didi was awesome! She really listened and was able to help me find what I wanted and find something that looked good on my figure. And she stayed in my price point the whole time! I loved my experience at Trudy's. The girl who helped me was Didi, I LOVED her. I showed her what I liked, she still told me to pick a variety. I loved every dress, she took care of my group so good. And when I found the one, she still had me try on more dresses I picked. The dress she matched to the one I liked was one I didn't even really like in magazines, and I fell in love with it! She showed me how it looked with a sash, and different necklines by pinning... absolutely loved her! And Trudy herself was there that day, and was so welcoming. You can bring mimosas too and have the experience of your life! Great place. I had tried on dresses elsewhere and the quality nor staff compared nowhere near Trudy's.

Let me start by saying before going to Trudy's I had been to 6 other bridal stores, and I was over dress shopping. I had horrible customer service at some places and some had very little product for me to try on. So walking into Trudy's I had very low expectations, and was not excited to go. However when I walked in my dress specialist was ready and waiting for me and she took me over to sit down and actually talked to me first about what I was looking for and what I wanted to avoid. None of the other salons did this, they just started pulling dresses for me to try on... So it was already a good start at Trudy's. I only tried on maybe 5 dresses rather then 10-15 that I had at other salons. The third dress I tried on was amazing, but completely not what I thought I wanted or would look good in, but my mom and best friend almost broke down when I came out in it. After the 5th dress my dress specialist asked if I wanted to try on dress #3 again and I said yes, and when I walked out all glammed up we knew that was the dress. They let me discuss with me mom, without being pushy and said don't worry either way.
We ended up getting the dress that day, and I couldn't have been happier. They provided me with alteration places closer to my home, which my mom loved. Couldn't have been happier with Trudy's.

I had a wonderful experience at Trudy’s Brides! Shannon was my consultant and she did a great job and making me feel comfortable and excited throughout the process. I was reassured by her obvious experience in the wedding dress industry as she seemed to know what would/wouldn’t look good. I always get nervous when someone says that everything looks great. The atmosphere in Trudy’s is very comfortable and personable. They have hundreds if not thousands of dresses to choose from. You get your own area to try on your dresses with whomever you bring with you, unlike some places where you walk out and stand in front of everyone.
I ended up finding my dress somewhere else but coming back to Trudy’s to buy it because I was so pleased with my experience there and wanted them to get the sale instead. Because Trudy’s has such a high volume of business they have strong connections with the designers, as a result they are quick to know about price changes. When I went in to buy my dress, the price had gone up $200 from when I had looked at it the week prior elsewhere. Apparently the price had JUST changed. Shannon took care of it and gave me the old price, which made me happy because I didn’t want to have to go somewhere else to buy it. That confirmed for me that they really care about their customers and their reputation and it’s not just about the money. In some of the other stores I had visited, I always felt like I was getting “sold” and that they didn’t really care about me as a customer, just making the sale. I never got that feeling at Trudy’s.
I was pleasantly surprised when I got a handwritten note from Trudy the week after I purchased my dress, thanking me for shopping with them. That small detail made a big difference for me, as they could have easily just sent out a form letter or thank you. It’s that type of service that makes people come back. I would absolutely recommend Trudy’s for anyone looking for a wedding dress!

Even though my wedding was in San Diego, I went up north to go to Trudy's with my mom, mother-in-law, and sister (both my husband's and my families are around the bay area). We had heard great things, and my sister always got her prom dresses here at the party dress shop. The attendant was very responsive to what I wanted, and I tried on about 6 dresses. I am not usually a decisive person, but for some reason, I knew my dress when I saw it. It was quick and easy! And very affordable. Trudy's has a very extensive selection for all price ranges, and I found one at the lower end of my price range that was beautiful and just for me. I think the designer was Marisa. Simple, strapless A-line covered in lace detail. With a train, which I never thought I would like!

I love my wedding dress and I'm a bit sad I can only wear on my wedding day! I had found my dress online and took the print out to Trudy's. The sales consultant was able to find it and I was in love! It was the first dress that I tried on at the appointment and even though I tried on many others, that was the one I went back to.

I also got my bridesmaids dresses there and the customer service there is amazing. I had 2 out of state bridesmaids and they made the process so simple and easy. They are very accommodating and have the best customer service!

After learning that a few of my friends got their dress at Trudy's, I decided to go there too. Didi was my bridal consultant and she really took the time to listen to what I wanted and incorporate that into the wedding venue as well. After trying on two dresses and describing to her what I liked and didn't like, she pulled a dress that was perfect! I ended up buying the 3rd dress I tried! My dress came in sooner than quoted and my second appointment to try on my dress and select accessories went perfectly again. I would definitely recommend Trudy's!

From the moment I walked in I was so pleased with the prompt service I recieved. Before grabbing dress's my consultant asked me what I liked and disliked, took my measurements and off she went to find dresses. If I could give Trudy's 10 stars, I would! This is a 3 part review so bear with me. The level of service is by far stellar and above expectations!

I had an appt. here yesterday to try on bridal dresses. I was greeted right away and informed that the consultant I requested specifically was out sick so instead I was working with Denise. At first I was bummed but not for long. What a GEM! She made me feel right at home and my entourage as well. She was so kind and really understood what I was looking for and what I didn't like. She didn't rush me at all and even grabbed water for me when I got a lil hot. LOL

While in one dress that we all seemed to like, my Mom asked Denise if she'd put a veil on me "just to see" and Denise said, "of course!" Once the veil was on - that did it. That was the moment that it all clicked and I got that typical 'moment.' Tissues were on hand right away too.

After a few other dresses that weren't winning me over - Denise told me we had time for one more dress. It could be a new dress or we could try one on again a 2nd time. We tried 'the one' on a 2nd time and this just reassured all of us that this was it. We will be ordering my dress very soon!!!

*I was at Trudy's last August while shopping for my friend's wedding dress and the service was the same - superb. We worked with Lelani (consultant requested for my appt.)

Trudy's was awesome! Cathy was a great "sales lady" and made me feel completely comfortable. I DO NOT suggest having a "Say Yes To The Dress" moment and having 7++ people with you while trying on dresses. WAY TOO many people, opions, and attitudes. I went with my two best girlfriends and narrowed it down to 2 dresses (after only trying on like 5 - be open to suggestions from the sales staff, they know body types, what works what doesn't). I went to David's Bridal after being at Trudy's, just to compare, because I had an appt, but wow what a difference in the quality of dresses, the staff, the store set up, etc... We went back to Trudy's the same day, called my Mom to meet for her opinion (got to ask if she is paying :) and BOUGHT A DRESS. I was so happy to not have this ordeal drag out and I firmly believe it's because the way Trudy's conducts it's business. Also, they have a great selection of other dresses and accessories.

I had an amazing experience at Trudy's! My consultant was Shannon and she was super sweet. My mom and I had just come from a different bridal salon and had a very mediocre experience. Shannon sat down with us first and asked about the wedding and my overall vision. She asked what kind of style the wedding would have and what kind of dresses I'm drawn to. She really considered everything about the wedding in order to help pull the right dresses.

I had already fallen madly in love with a dress in a magazine, so we tried that on first and that was it! She was nice enough to let me stand there for almost an hour in the first and only dress I tried on. She was so helpful with trying on veils and hair flowers. We tried on jewelry too. I honestly felt like a princess! It was the experience I had always imagine for myself and my mom to share.

We ordered the dress that day and they said it would take 4-6 months for it to come in. We got it in 3! I couldn't have been happier with my Trudy's experience. We ordered bridesmaid dresses and MOB dresses there too. Highly recommended!

Bought my wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses here, the services were very accommodable. Everyone was super sweet to us. Everyone dresses came on time. Especially my bridal dress, came in within 3 months. Prices were within my budget, and the dress style I wanted was similar to the one I bought. Thank you!

Trudy's staff was Awesome. I needed my dress in a rush and they were caring and made it happen. I never felt pressured or rushed. My consultant Didi new exactly what I was looking for and found me my Perfect Dress. I recieved many comments about my dress and how gorgeous it was. One of my guest actually said " the dress looked like it was designed with me in mind". I felt Amazing in my dress. Thank You Didi!!

I had an amzing experience here. I told them what I was looking for and the price I wanted to stay under and they found the perfect dress for me. They didn't try and show me dresses out of my budget so they could make a bigger sale which was great! My dress even came in 2 months earlier then they said! I would highly recommend.

Trudy's was amazing and so helpful. I found the perfect dress and it was so easy to work with them. My dress might not be able to come in until the week before the wedding. But they told me to keep calling them and seeing if the order could be rushed. So, I called and they kept me calm and assured me it would be in on time. Then the dress came in 3 weeks early! It worked out perfect. When I went with my mom to get the dress, Trudy her self helped us find the perfect hair accessory. Thanks for everything Trudy!

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when I came to Trudy's. When I was researching places to go to find my dress, Trudy's was last on my list. I read reviews on Yelp and saw that so many brides had experienced bad customer service. And I'm huge on customer service. When looking for the "one" I had gone to 3 stores already and was ready to call it a day. Then my sister asked "didn't you want to go to Trudy's?" I really didn't want to, but then my mom said, "let's go." So we did. I had made an appointment just in case which was good because they were a bit busy. My dress consultant was Tammy Bailey. She's what made my experience there so worth it. As soon as we got to the dressing area, she asked what kind of dress I was looking for, what I didn't want, and what my pricepoint is. Then off she went to look for dresses. She pulled exactly what I had described and all within my price range. She had also pulled a dress that I wasn't quite looking for but looked beautiful so I tried it on anyway. Beautiful dresses! I had cried with one dress, but I still didn't make the decision that day. After a few weeks, after I had pretty much decided on what dress I wanted, we went back and this time I took my dad. I tried on a few more dresses just to make sure and then put on the one I wanted. The look on my dad's face sealed the deal. And it was the dress that Tammy had pulled that was a style that I wasn't exactly looking for :) But I knew it was the one, there was something about it that I couldn't let go on.
So anyway, reviews are very helpful when trying to decide whether or not to check it out. I'm glad that I went to Trudy's despite the many negative reviews I read on Yelp. Sometimes you just need to take a chance. I'm very glad that I did.
Trudy's did a wonderful job. If you can, ask for Tammy Bailey. She was really helpful and a true sweetheart. She knows her job and does it well.
Trudy's has a big selection of dresses in many different price ranges. AND they have gowns in plus sizes too :) DO make an appointment because they do get busy. Good luck in finding "the dress."

I was very pleased with my experience at Trudy's Bridal. The saleswomen listened to what I wanted and ended up pulling the best dress ever for me. The dress came in on time and they were always very helpful when I came in for accessories and veil. It is also nice to have Trudy on the floor to give opinions on dresses and such.

I love trudys! I walked into the store (with an appointment of course) and the girls there helped me right away. Sat me down with my entourage I brought with me (haha) and got to work. I told them some things that I wanted and some things that I didn't want. They brought out multiple dresses and I put on my dress and that was it!! They were honest and caring staff. Trudy herself even came over and gave here opinion and of course she knows what shes doing so it all mattered! I loved trudys so much I even got all the bridesmaids dresses there and my dress altered across the way. I would highly recommend them for any dress for any occassion!!

Trudy's Brides deserves 5 stars for sure!!! I had only a little over 2 months to find me a wedding dress and I just so happen went to Trudy's Brides on a weekend when they were having a Bridal Show in the Pruneyard. I didn't have an appointment that day so my friend and I went in to just look through the dresses. They have a huge selection of dresses to select from. I was still allowed to try on dresses even without an appointment. However, when a consultant found out I was getting married in a few months, she asked Trudy if I could get a consultant to work with me that very day. She definitely agreed and sure enough, they made it happen. I discussed with my dress consultant what kind of dress I was looking for and of course she went above and beyond my ideas. She had me try on a dress that was a little different from what I was imagining but it was the dress I fell in love with. It was perfect! The floor model didn't need much alterations so I got excited! I was a little worried that the dress wouldn't be able to ship in time for me to do any required alterations and be ready for the wedding date but it was really meant to be. They found out that the dress was no longer being made. Therefore, they sold me the floor model at a nice discount!!! It was still in absolute great condition so double bonus!!! Thank you to Trudy's Brides for making my wedding dress shopping an easy and fun experience. Thanks to you, I felt like the most confident, elegant, & beautiful bride on my wedding day.

This shop was the only place I went where I was given undivided attention, there weren't hoards of appointments booked at the same time and they have a HUGE selection of dresses for a great price! Despite having read some mixed reviews, I checked out Trudy’s anyways and am so glad I did. Trudy’s has a great selection of bridal gowns, and I was lucky to work with a very sweet consultant by the name of Leilani. On my second visit to Trudy’s, I bought my dress!

PROS

- You can take photos -
Despite what I’d heard (and what I’ve experienced at other bridal shops), my bridesmaids and friends were allowed to take ample photos of me trying on bridal gowns. These photos were really useful – it’s hard to remember all the dresses after you’ve tried on more than 10!

- You can visit more than once -
Someone had told me that you could only go to Trudy’s once to try on dresses. But she was clearly wrong, because I visited the store twice, bought my dress on my second visit, and returned a third time for my viewing appointment (where you try on your actual dress once it arrives and play with accessories).

- Super sweet saleslady/consultant -
Leilani was so sweet and patient with me. I really felt that she was trying to give me honest feedback and not just get me to buy a dress. I also spoke briefly with Trudy herself and thought she was really nice! I didn’t speak extensively with anyone else in the store, but I also didn’t have negative interactions with any of the staff.

- Good selection, decent prices -
I tried on a variety of dresses in trumpet/mermaid and A-line silhouettes and was able to get a good idea of what I liked and didn’t like on me. Contrary to some of the reviews I’ve read, I didn’t get any attitude about my desired price range ($1000-1500). Wedding gowns are crazy expensive, but we found one close to my price range that I loved. (I don’t think that Leilani brought me any gowns very much outside my price range, which is good!)

- Found my dress! -
No matter how great the store, it’s fairly useless to you if you don’t find a dress you love. I can’t promise that you’ll find your dress at Trudy’s, but I did and I wasn’t tempted to go shopping again.

CONS (but pretty mild as cons go)

- Cozy, not upscale -
I’ve read some reviews where brides complained that Trudy’s was crowded. I disagree – I had plenty of room to walk around and my bridesmaids/friends had room to sit down and relax. However, I do agree that Trudy’s doesn’t have the same feel or atmosphere as an upscale bridal salon.

- No in-house seamstress -
Instead, Trudy’s provides you with a list of tailoring shops that they have worked with in the past. I had received two independent recommendations for another seamstress (Si Arima, see my separate review for her work), so I did not go with a seamstress that was “approved” by Trudy’s. A bit of extra work on my part, but really not that bad, all things considered.

- Not upfront about designer/model name of dress -
(Not necessarily specific to Trudy’s, as I think this is common practice in all bridal shops.)
I get the feeling that bridal shop consultants are doing their darnedest NOT to tell you the designer and model numbers/names of the dresses. Instead, they tell you that they will write down the name of the dress in your “file”. If you look closely at the tags, there’s a series of cryptic codes in place of useful information. I understand that the shops don’t want to lose your business, but I find the practice sneaky and deceptive. During my first visit to Trudy’s, we did manage to get the names of the designers who made the dresses I liked… I just don’t understand why they can’t be upfront with that information.

My dress was approximately $1100. And for Trudy's Brides, this is probably on the cheaper end, but it definitely didn't look like it. I felt like a princess in my wedding dress. Thats when i finally knew that it was "the one". Sheryl helped me out. So, major kudos for her finding my perfect dress. When my dress came, my mom and I noticed that there was a hole right in the front of the dress at the waist. The employees notified the owner Trudy and she said that she'd take care of it. Within a month or so, we got a different dress and no hole! Thank you thank you Trudy :)

Trudy's staff was very helpful in the selection of my wedding dress, my mom's dress, and my bridesmaids' dresses. They had some really great choices and they carried all of the designers I was looking for. They also have an amazing variety of accessories. I will definitely use them again for formalwear.

Although I didn't purchase my dress from Trudy's the associates were very helpful in recommending a seamstress to have my dress steamed. I purchased my dress in NY and needed some touch-ups done for the big day. I can not remember the name of the seamstress that helped me, but she was very reasonably priced and Trudy's sends a lot of their clients to her. Thanks Trudy's.
