LOVE these guys!

We required a lot of transportation for my wedding and this company took care of us! The drivers were professional, on time, and the vehicles were amazing! NYE Wedding Transportation: USE ALEX!

We booked an Excalibur around two years before our wedding after meeting Kevin and seeing the car.

Through this process, Kevin communicated well and made sure that we got everything we needed transportation wise and more. My number one suggestion would be to ASK FOR ALEX AS YOUR DRIVER!

The driver, Alex, was the real star of the show. My groomsmen and husband LOVED him! (They rode in the car lol.) Alex was prompt, kind, friendly, positive, and everything went seamlessly. (Mind you I had to change the pick up location 3x times due to different issues with the hotels that were of no fault to Tru Limo.) It rained outside and Alex made sure my dress never touched the ground and helped give ideas to our photographers of the perfect shots to take.

Highly recommend working with them and even more highly recommend asking for Alex!

New Large Party Bus

One of the most valuable pieces of advice I got during my wedding planning was to go check out the limo you plan to reserve beforehand. My husband and I checked out several before decided to go with TRU limo.
We needed a party bus to fit 28 people. Not many companies carry something this size and several of the ones we saw were old and run down.
TRU limo had a brand new bus with a bathroom, wifi, speakers, tv, lights, you name it.
They were professional. Arrived on time for pick up. We were able to make our final payment via CC the day of the wedding. My bridal party and I had an amazing time on the 30+ minute bus ride from the church to the venue. I am even thinking about booking them again for a birthday celebration!

Best Party Bus ever!!!

Loved loved our limos!!! We went with TRU Limo because their prices were great!!! We had a car for me and my parents and a party bus for rest of the bridal party. The party bus had a bar in it and came with a bartender!!! It was perfect!!! My bridal party and parents loved it!!! The driver was great! I got red carpet service at the church! And driving around afterwards, blasting music, and toasting with champagne was the perfect finishing touch!!

Safe and Efficient!

We had the large (56 Person I believe) bus and our driver was on time, professional and very safe driving through a few narrow back roads late at night. They are flexible and the driver was willing to take as many trips as needed through the night. I would easily rent this service again if I needed it.

We had a limo on the day of our wedding. They arrived early, patiently waited for me and my bridal party, and made sure everything was fine. They were very accommodating. Our driver was such a sweetheart. They pulled out a red carpet for me and my husband with champagne waiting for us after church. Everything was perfect!

After contacting/visiting multiple limo companies in the area, Tru Limo had by far the best rates and quality of limos I'd seen! When I went to check out the party buses, I met with Kevin who gave me a tour of the different buses and went through all the day of details with me. After hearing horror stories of limos showing up late, not showing up at all, etc. I wanted to feel confident in my choice, and Kevin made it easy for me! I booked that day and from then on, everything went as planned! My now-husband even called them the morning of the wedding and asked if the guys could be picked up a half hr earlier, and they were there (early in fact) without any hesitation! Our driver was so great, helping me and the rest of the wedding party in and out of the bus, and even did a special champagne bottle toast at the church. The bus came with additional bottles of champagne, cups, napkins, speaker system for use ..basically anything that you need. If you have a big bridal party like we did I would highly recommend one of the big party buses ..not only does it provide more room (girls in dresses and hair done will appreciate) it helps to get the party started! I guarantee you will not be disappointed in booking Tru Limo - I look forward to using their services again in the future!!

The Driver that picked up my wife (Bride) and all the girls in the Bridal Party, was so attentive to my Wife. The entire team was very professional, and i would recommend everyone to go and use Tru Limousine in Linden NJ. the 27 passenger bus was just perfect.
The 10 Passenger van that we also used to transport the guys to church was perfect.
The driver was there almost 30 minutes before we even needed him.

Tru Limo was very easy to work with and always got back to me promptly. We worked primary through email but was also available to answer our calls. The day of the wedding the limobus showed up an hour early and was clean and fully stocked with everything promised. Stand, our driver, was fantastic and extremely flexible with our timeline. We arrived early to the reception and he allowed us to stay on the limobus and dance/party before we entered. The only downside was that the cooler on the limobus was to small for the beverages we provided so we ended up putting our own cooler on for the ride. I would highly recommend Tru Limo, they provided everything they promised along with our amazing driver! Thank you, it was a blast!

Very attentive. Took our bridal party from hotel to church, then to a photo shoot and finally to the venue. Quality of service was excellent, it was the best value for money compared to other vendors we checked. We didn't regret it at all!

We used TRU Limousine for our July 25th wedding and could not have hoped for better transportation. We rented the 32 passenger party bus and it was perfect for our large bridal party. With over 20 people on the bus we had plenty of room for coolers and for people to have a good time on our ride to pictures and to the reception. Our driver was very friendly and greeted us all with a smile! The bus was really clean and was stocked with waters, champagne, and soda, which was very refreshing on a hot summer day! Prices are very reasonable and worth every penny!

Great service. This is really one of the only places I called. They worked with me on the price and sent me an AWESOME DRIVER, Matt Sales, he was GREAT!!!! I must start off this comment by saying that im so happy to have discovered tru limousine online.On June of 2012 my family and i took a trip to London where i booked my vacation and limo reservations through expedia.com the limo was suppose to pick us up at the airport.upon arriving in London and not to mention at night the limo service never showed up i was so disappointed because my 10yr old daughter was looking forward to her first ride in a limo.In June of this year 2013 i was invited to my cousin's wedding in new jersey i was forced to book via online again because i had no referrals as to which company i could consider.I was so skeptical and afraid i called a few companies and spoke to them personally but the ability to impress me never came to life with anyone however,when i called Tru Limousine the person i spoke to assured my every doubt he was very polite and inviting i related my past experience to him where he was very sympathetic and told me that my experience with them will be one to remember and
"OH MY GOD" what an experience it was when i arrived in the airport the even took the liberty of texting me to let me know that the service had arrived at this point i was so relieved but nothing prepared me for when i got outside.....there it was parked like royalty a stretch limousine the driver waited for me outside customs holding a sign with my family's name he was so nicely dressed and polite.The limo was so amazingly shiny and new it looked like a car out of a magazine it was immaculate,when we got in,there were sparkly lights,and on the television a complimentary cartoon was playing for my daughter she was so excited she started to scream.it was alot more than i expected,I was so happy and satisfied because this entire experience was for her....

Tru Limo was very easy to work with and gave us a great price on a party bus. The limo driver was on time an assisted my bridesmaids and I in loading the limo with our liquor and bags. We booked car service for our wedding literally 3days before our wedding. Originally the task was to be done by my father, however before we realized it we were rushing to book it. Thankfully when I spoke to Tru Limousine they were extremely helpful in discussing the price and the service. They even advised that what I was originally looking to book was not needed and provided a different package that suited our needs and saved us some money.

Our driver was prompt and extremely understanding when we were late to the ceremony and oozing stress. He was courteous, sweet and not only swift in delivering us the location but a very safe driver as well. We definitely recommend their services!

My Wedding was 5 days after hurricane sandy. I was stressed. I could not locate any of my major vendors. Two days before my wedding I got a call from TRU Limousine the owner was very apologetic for not contacting me sooner and explained there is no electricty, internet or phone service in the entire area where his office is located. He told me not to worry we will be there for your wedding. TRU Limousine showed up on time. The car was clean and beautiful, the driver was courteous and well dressed. At the end I was very happy. My wedding day was perfect amongst such devastation. Thank you TRU Limousine. I will highly reccomend this company.

Such an easy company to work with, my emails were always answered right away. Drivers were all early and were so great the day of the wedding. I got a 10 passenger, an 8 passanger, a towncar and a shuttle for 32 ppl the day of my wedding. When i booked they were so helpfull over the phone. siince i had no idea how this works i thought i needed 1 limo to pick up the bride and bridesmaids and 1 limo to pick up the groom and groomsmen. The lady told me i could save money by just renting 1 limo to pick up the groom and groomsmen, take them to the church, and then come back and pick up the bride and bridesmaids. This in fact, helped me save the cost of an entire limo.
The day of the wedding every single one of the limos were on time. they were in great conditions. they had complimentary champaign on board. the shuttle looks like a big limousine. its spacious and its really really nice.

very good service. oh and i did most of the payments on line via google checkout. the balance we gave to the driver the day of the wedding.

Tru Limo has great prices! They are literally the best price quote I recieved after calling 17 other companies. The driver was polite and knew his way around the area which was a great plus. He helped me in and out of the limosine like a true gentleman.

The boys used tru limo for a party bus for the bachelor party and had a great experience as well. (That's all that I was allowed to know about the party)

My experience with Tru Limousine completely calmed all of my fears. I rented two fancy vans from them to shuttle guests from the hotel to ceremony site and back to the hotel, and to shuttle the wedding party
around to take photos after the ceremony, and had a great experience. When I called to book, the person on the phone, Kevin, was really easy to work with and was sensitive what we needed. After listening to me tell him what I needed the vans for, he suggested renting the vans for the 6 hour period rather than getting the "wedding" package which would only allow us use of the vans for a shorter period of time, even though the vans were obviously for a wedding. This actually saved us money, and met our needs perfectly. (I'd like to note that other limousine companies refused offer any alternative to their "wedding" packages.) Prior to the wedding, I sent an email describing what I would need the drivers to do, and on the day of the wedding, the drivers were super prepared, and knew exactly where to go - including which stops to make after the ceremony for wedding photos. The company listened to what we wanted and did a great job executing everything. Overall, a wonderful experience. I highly
recommend Tru Limousine to anyone needing limo service.

Tru Limo was professional and courteous throughout the whole planning process. No hassles whatsoever and the limo was clean both when we booked our date and on our wedding day. (Unlike another company we had checked out first.) Our driver was on-time, friendly, professional and extremely helpful getting our bridal party and older parents in and out of the car. We rented a 14 passenger navigator to transport our wedding party. Just from researching companies we were very impressed with what TRU LIMOUSINE could offer. Not only were their prices comparable (if not better) than the other local companies, but they included some very nice extras: complimentary champagne, ice & bottled water, and red carpet service. They also allowed us to play our own music CD during the ride. They arrived on time and followed are time-line to exactly. The driver was professional, well-dressed (in tuxedo), and friendly. We searched everywhere for a jaguar limo and found what we were looking for. The car was immaculate and comfortable. Our driver was very attentive fluffing my wedding gown and even assisting my elderly parents in and out of the car. The drive was smooth and the car barely felt as if was stopping or starting. Our driver was really obsessed with his car to the point that he was seen waxing it and rubbing clean the windows while we were in the church. It was amazing to come back to the car and notice that all the glasses we used were somehow replaced with new ones. The car was again freshened up just like it was when we originally got it. This company is truly amazing. Matter of fact, we spent lots of time visiting other companies and noticed that we didn't need an appointment and when we came unannounced, the car was also very clean. At many companies we visited, the cars were always dirty and we were given excuses as to why.

They were great! Absolutely no complaints. The drivers were very, very helpful! We got the camaro limo through them and it was a HUGE hit! Would definitely recommend this company!

I cannot express in words of how incredible their talents for wedding transportation is. Every frantic email I shot off to Joan was returned with step by step answers to my questions always in a very professional and comforting manner. Their vehicles are very well maintained and look absolutely pristine!! The driver was very courteous and a great chauffeur. We rented their stretch Hummer for the entire bridal party and it was a sweet ride.

I had no problems booking with this company. They were very helpful and flexible, and were more than willing to go to a few locations for photos, even if they were random and off the cuff!

The limo service was on time and very professional. We even went over our time limit and the driver didn't seem overly concerned allowing us to finish up our photo shoot which was 20 minutes from our venue. The only concern I had was that the driver had my dad pay before we left my house for the ceremony. My groom had a check ready and waiting, but the driver wanted to be paid before we left. My dad paid with a credit card, causing them to charge additional fees which the driver did not make him aware of at the time. I ended up calling weeks later and they were willing to reimburse us the extra charges if we went to their office with cash. It was a decent amount of money so that is what we ended up doing. Overall they were a great company and less expensive than their competitors, just make sure you're ready with the check!

For our wedding, we rented the Excalibur and a 34-seater shuttle bus. Both vehicles were immaculate, inside and out! The value for the Excalibur was the best I found, even after attending some bridal shows. The driver for the Excalibur was AMAZING! He was so professional, very sweet, and he knew just what to do. When I entered my church, there was no lay person to help with my processional and all bridesmaids and ushers were already in the church (you can practice, but when it's showtime not everything will go as planned). He was the one who straightened out my chapel-length train and cathedral-length veil! He even had to run into the church to get my ushers to hold the door closed, then open them for my entrance. He also had the red carpet ready with champagne for our send off. He is the only one allowed to drive the Excalibur, so you know you'll be in good hands! The shuttle driver, however, called me 2-3 minutes before the shuttle was due to leave and asked for the person in charge of the party!! Needless to say, that put a lot of stress on me 45 minutes before my ceremony. I would still recommend them though, especially the Excalibur!!

Tru Limo was good. They were very flexible. When the limo arrived I made sure one of my bridesmaid told the driver that we had one stop to make prior to heading to the cermony. Our driver just asked for the address and got us there no problem. The only thing was that I had asked them to remove the pole from the bus and they said that it would be no problem but when we got in it was still there. It wound up not being an issue cause my bridal party had fun with it anyway.

Great Transportation Service

For a good price, our wedding party was able to be transported to our venue in luxury and style. The vehicle was clean, drinks and cups were provided, and the driver was friendly. Great experience overall.

Service was on time even though driver went to the wrong city first and our original choice of vehicle was switched last minute due to mechanical problems. Otherwise, service was great. Our driver was very nice and assisted us in every way possible. Definitely recommend TruLimo.

Was on time. New exactly where they were going never had too bother us about direction. Let us know about the time so we didn't have any extra charges. Very friendly. # 1 thing they let us get crazy! Had a blast in that bus!!

Tru Limo has a nice array of vehicles in its fleet. Ours was clean and made us feel it was worth the money we paid. The driver was very courteous and willing to take us anywhere we wanted for the night. My husband’s worry was it would be dirty and have ripped upholstery, but the entire car was spotless. We felt like a king and queen arriving and exiting our wedding. The ride was smooth, and we were pleased with the services provided.

My husband and I chose Tru Limo for our recently wedding, against my better judgement of choosing a "knot pick" from theknot.com. Though it wasn't a day ruiner, I regret my decision for this choice. When we called them to set up a limo for our day, the man on the phone was incredibly rude. I was put on hold for almost ten minutes. When I called to verify two weeks before the wedding, the same man answered the phone, and when I said that I just wanted to make sure we were all set, he replied "why wouldn't you be". Still, I pressed on hoping for the best. The reason we chose this company is because they had a little bit bigger limo for just a little less that the original company I had gone with. The limo thankfully arrived on time, but when we entered, the first thing out of the driver's mouth was what the difference was on the bill. He didn't start driving until I gave him my credit card. There was nothing special about this limo besides they had pink napkins in it (which was my wedding color). It looked very used and smelled like cigarrettes. I was extremely disappointed and called my photographer requesting that we don't do any pictures in there. Everyone who rode with me agreed that this limo was not how it had looked on the website. The only positive thing I can say about this company is that the wedding ran a little late, and they did say an extra 20 minutes or so for us to go home. Though I again had to pay him before he would let me in the limo. If you are looking for a limo service for your special day, I would not recommend this company. If I could go back, I would spend that extra $150 and went with a company that was more highly recommended that this one.

Super snobby

Not sure who answered the phone, but if I’m willing to fork over 2000$ to a company, a condescending nasty person should never answer the phone .. made it so much easier to narrow my search down to another company .. I could only imagine what the drive to MY wedding would’ve been like if I went with “Tru limo”

Extremely Unprofessional - DO NOT recommend

We used Tru Limo for our wedding on July 14, 2019. We booked the Weddings Rolls Royce and the 28 Passenger Bus. Both drivers of these two vehicles were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to the bride and groom. The party bus driver got upset and yelled at the groom and his groomsmen for turning on the lights, stereo system, and TV on the party bus even though these were selling points when we were viewing the cars the day we signed the contract. Both drivers were unaware of the schedule. Both the bride and the groom had to inform the drivers there was an additional stop before we went to the church. This stop was clearly stated in the itinerary. However, they told both of us we were wrong and then proceeded to text while driving until they realized we were correct. On the contract, it says we had the Rolls Royce booked until after our ceremony ended. However, on the way to the church, the driver kept saying to the bride he would only stay until 4pm and if we want him to wait for us, he would charge us an hour extra. We were having this conversation in front of the church before I walked down the aisle which I believe is extremely rude and unprofessional because you would think the last thing you would want to do is stress out the bride right before she enters the church. He did not discuss this with me in a calm manner, instead of he was yelling and clearly annoyed at the situation. However, I believe this is a miscommunication between the owner Kevin and us because we were transparent with him regarding our wedding timeline. We were clear our ceremony started at 3:30 and would end about an hour later so I do not understand why he wrote “rolls royce terminates after church ceremony ends” when that was never his plan. Since the Rolls Royce driver kept threatening me saying he will charge me an hour overtime if he waited for us after our ceremony ended, I just told him to leave right after he dropped me off at the church.
The worst part of our experience with Tru Limo was our interaction with the owner, Kevin. We went to speak with him weeks after the wedding to make him aware his drivers were rude and unprofessional. He did not apologize AT ALL for our experience and said, “he will not give us any money back just because of attitudes.” You could also tell he refused to believe us. I don’t understand why anyone would take time during their Saturday during the summer to lie about their experience. You would think customer service would be important to any business, especially in the wedding industry but it was clear he did not care about our experience with his company. He just kept saying “he has been in this business for x amount of years” and he does not care that his drivers stressed us out on our wedding day. He did not take ownership of his drivers’ actions whatsoever and again, he never apologize once to us. Both drivers stressed the bride and groom out leading up to the ceremony (groom was in party bus and bride was in rolls Royce). Clearly, Tru Limo’s unprofessionalism stems from the owner and is reflected in their drivers.
Transportation was the last thing I thought would stress me out on my wedding day and therefore I would not recommend any bride/groom to use this company on their wedding day.

Leslie and Victor Renzo you both came into my office last week looking for what you called "compensation" because you thought my drivers were rude to you. When reserving your vehicles, you booked the 28 passenger party bus for 5 hours and I gave you one hour free, a total of 6 hours. You claimed you only needed the Rolls to get you to the church and when advised it was a 3 hour package, you selected 1PMto 4PM. The contract noted that you since you had to pay for 3 hours, you wanted the car to remain until the end of the ceremony. The car stayed and at 4PM you went into overtime and refused to pay. Somehow, you misunderstood a 3 hour package and believed you could keep the Rolls as long as you wanted. As I advised at my office, you could keep it as long as you wanted provided that you pay the overtime. This was your initial complaint and once you understood your argument was invalid, you went on to state , "well the drivers were rude and I should be compensated because it was my day. Your husband went onto say, "what if I punched the driver in the face. Further documented conversations at the office revealed that both you and your husband advised me that if I didn't compensate you for alleged driver rudeness, you would get 100 friends to write negative reviews on this company. My drivers have over 20 years experience in this industry and yes, as per our company policy, will collect overtime when due. if you feel it is rude to get paid for services rendered, that is something you need to grasp. Both driver's denied being rude and adamantly state you believed you could keep the Rolls Royce as long as you wanted without paying overtime. Here at the office, both you and you husband made verbal threats and were asked to leave. This company did what we were contracted to do and yes, we have done thousands of weddings and other trips over the last 21+ years and certainly, not everyone is happy. In this industry, for the most part, reviews are usually honest, sometimes a bit emotional but yours in no way reflects this company. As I told your husband when he threatened to have 100 of his family and friends write bad reviews on this company, this company has the experience, reputation and will continue to serve the public regardless of what your review states. Within the last month there were no calls or visits to my office, you got married on 14th of July 2019 and came to see me about this a month later, very interesting.

Would NOT recommend!! My wedding was this past Friday. I called the week before to confirm my 42 passenger bus. At this time Kevin (The owner) tells me that bus is not working but he will upgrade us free of charge to the 50 person bus. The day of our wedding a 32 passenger bus shows up (which does not fit our bridal party) After arguing with the driver and Kevin on the phone, the best he could do was reimburse $150. We had brides maids sitting on top of ushers laps. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

My best friends wedding was this past Friday, after originally booking a 42 person party bus for him and his wifes special day, they called to inform us that the 42 passenger bus broke down and they would upgrade to a 50 passenger bus free of charge. The morning of we come outside excited and ready to celebrate but instead of the 50 passenger Kevin (the owner )sent a 32 person bus that didnt fit our party. We has to have people sitting on laps and it became a nightmare. Being in the service industry for over 12 years, the client always comes first and we didnt! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! They would not compensate nor did they have an alternative solution that fitted our needs, instead just caused stress and frustration on what should be a stress free exciting happy day. go else where!

TRU LIMOUSINE LEFT US STRANDED ON THE STREETS ON OUR WEDDING DAY!!!!!!!

Got married on 7/31/11. Our Church ceremony was held in Maplewood,NJ (one block outside of Irvington,NJ). We paid full in cash plus gratuity before our wedding day because TRU LIMO said we would get a discount for paying in full before wedding date. We paid for 4 hours of service (1pm-5pm). Our Ceremony was over at 4pm and the Limo Driver barged into church telling our guest (While Bride and Groom were taking family photos) that he was going to leave if we don't pay him an extra $100cash for staying overtime. Since, we were all excited about our wedding and not paying attention to time because non of us had a watch on, we paid him an extra $100 cash. After we finished our photos at 4:30pm, and after all of our guest and family had left to go to reception held in West Orange,NJ (only 15mins away)...We got into the limo and the limo driver, drives two blocks away from Church and stops the limo and turns off the air and told us that we had to give him an extra $100 to move the car. It was very obvious that WE (BRIDE AND GROOM) did not have our wallets or cell phones with us, nor a watch. We told the limo driver that we would give him cash when we get to the venue. He said "NO" he's not moving until he gets paid on the spot. The limo driver demanded us to get out the car on the streets of Irvington, NJ and "WE" (bride and groom) had to walk 2 blocks back to Church in the heat wave to call a family member to pick us up on our wedding day!!!! we did not pay attention to the time until we walked back to church and it was only 4:50pm! The limo driver lied to us about keeping him over time, we even paid him an extra $100, and he demanded for another $100 after all our guest left to go to the reception from Church.

Limo driver did not wear tux as promised, no champagne as promised, and no red carpet as promised. He ruined a huge chunk of our wedding day. Left us stranded, stole our money, and we were late to our own reception. PLEASE!!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Jeanne & Andrew Kim who reserved this vehicle and failed to make a deposit. The vehicle was cancelled out because Andrew Kim failed to come into our office with the deposit as required. On the day of the wedding 7/31/2011 Mr. Kim Phoned and said he did not have time to come into our office and pleaded for us to send the car and he would pay in cash when it arrived. Once the car arrived, the driver arrived at 12:40PM for a 1:00pm. The pickup in Bayonne was for 1pm and the party did not come out of the house until 3:00pm Our driver was paid for a 4 hour rate from 1pm to 5pm. At the church, the bridal party remained until 5:35pm and the driver advised the party that they were in overtime. The groom paid the driver 1/2 hour overtime and still had to leave Maplewood to go onto the park for photos and then onto the reception venue at the Wilshire Grande, West Orange for the reception. The groom advised the driver that he was not going to pay any more overtime because he did not have the money. The driver advised Mr. King that if he could not pay, he would be left at the church. So the story goes, We Left the bridal party at the church because they refused to pay overtime. This party clearly believed that they should not have to pay any overtime and are responsible for being left because they refused to pay. TRU Limousine performed a 4 1/2 hour service and clearly when additional monies were due, this groom clearly lacked respect for himself and his party by refusing to pay for services rendered and is totally responsible for being left at the church.
