To be honest, I was very hesitant on using this vendor. But let me tell you - I am beyond happy that I used this vendor. They work directly with my resort and had on site offices so that was very convenient. Everything was laid out in black and white and they were very responsive to e-mail very quickly. I had complete confidence after meeting with my photography coordinator. We met our photographer the day of the wedding - and let me tell you, JC was AMAZING. He was like a member of the family. So happy, helpful, and willing to do whatever I asked. His shots are absolutely gorgeous and I was so pleased, we booked our family photo shoot with him during our stay. Our photos are beautiful and I couldn't have asked for anything better.

I used Tropic One Studios for my wedding pictures recently in Punta Cana, DR. They are an absolute pleasure to work with. Your first point of contact is Taimir. She is very knowledgeable, efficient, professional and super sweet. She helped me along the way and answered all my questions. The photographer assigned to our wedding was Rodrigo and he took amazing pictures. He was super nice, professional and patient. My daughter described him as a ninja, as he was everywhere in a flash taking pictures. If you book your wedding at any Melia/Paradisus Resort, Tropic One is the preferred vendor, I was hesitant at first but after seeing their work on Facebook, IG and Vimeo, all my fears were put to rest. They are very talented and professional and I highly recommend their services. They have several packages to choose from and you can customize to fit your needs.

My name is Olivia. I had a beach wedding at the Paradisus Palma Real Golf Resort and Spa. Tropic One Studio, currently is the REQUIRED photo vendor within the Melia brand hotel chain (if you do not use their resources a $1000.00 per outside vendor fee is applied).

Contact with the Tropic One Studio representatives was simple. The staff was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I was able to view their online galleries, so I slightly relaxed a bit and was at ease about using their services. I made the payment in full (discount given if paid in full) via PayPal and our client/customer meet and greet the day before my wedding went smooth.

On the big day, my photographer and the photographer's assistant were on time and ready to roll. They asked if I had any last minute concerns or suggestions and then sprung into action. My package included the following:

-Photos of the bride/groom getting ready
-Ceremony pics
-Cocktail hour pics
-2 hours of the reception
-Viewing of images
- 2 disks, 200 image selection

In the end, I was pleased with their results. They captured all of my relatives and guests. My photographer's caught the landscape, our intimate moments, my peeps on the dance floor, etc... Two thumbs up for Tropic One Studio!

Had group pictures taken at the beach at Paradisus Punta Cana next day after wedding. The photographer was great and he captured some great moments. BUT payed them through PayPal as instructed, yet they never sent the pictures. Several calls and emails they could never confirmed that they received payment. Had to file a claim through PayPal. I may have lost $500, but more importantly I lost some great pictures from a very rare family and friends reunion. Please choose your photography company carefully. You could lose special moments with a company like this Tropic One Studios. I should have known it was a scam from the minute they wanted their money through PayPal.

Beware with this company. They mislead you with what is included in your package and then charge you $12 US for each additional picture. They don’t even print them for you. Make sure you get in all in writing what you are to receive!!
