  Organization and professionalism can't be topped

  I can never say enough positive things about Tropic DJs! I worked with Jim —He is so much more than a DJ. He made me feel like I was working with an old friend who had my back. His organization and professionalism can't be topped and he worked side by side with the day of coordinator to make every last detail just perfect!

  Jim was fantastic!

  Tropic DJs recently provided the music at my daughter’s wedding reception, and Jim was fantastic. Not only is he professional and talented at his job, he held my hand through the whole process and offered me and my daughter invaluable advice, based on his years in the business, giving us tips and do’s and don’ts that really made a huge positive impact on the whole experience. I would use him again in a heartbeat, and cannot recommend him highly enough.

  Tropic DJs recently provided the music at my daughter’s wedding reception, and Jim was fantastic.   Pleasure to work with during wedding planning

  We had Jim Hargrove for our DJ. He did an amazing job! Everyone couldn't stop talking about how awesome of a dj he was! I have 3 friends from our wedding that are now going to book Tropic for their wedding because of what a fabulous job he did! He was so accommodating even when I had last minute requests! We were extremely pleased with everything. They were a pleasure from the very beginning from meetings to the wedding. It was so nice to have such confidence in your dj because they were such a pleasure to work with during wedding planning.

  John was an amazing DJ! He really knew what kind of music we wanted played at our reception after meeting with him a few times. Everyone had such a good time at our reception because the music was so great! I would highly recommend having Tropic Djs your reception or event!

  Great music for our multicultural wedding

  We had a great experience with Tropic DJs. Our DJ was Gary and he did a fantastic job mixing music for our multicultural wedding. The last hour of our wedding was basically a millennial rager and our dance floor was packed the whole night!

  Get the photo booth too!

  We got so many compliments on our DJ Jim Hargrove, kept the dance floor full the entire night! He knew exactly how to keep the crowd entertained and everyone loved him!! We ended up also renting a photobooth and it was the best decision we made. Our guests loved it! We were so happy so see all of the things we missed that night since we couldn’t be everywhere at once

  Jim H was very easy to work with!

  I had Jim H and he was very easy to work with. He was able to get people dancing at the end without any alcohol. He was also very helpful in making announcements. I've been to other weddings and during the major dances there's just like an awkward ending, but Jim was really good at fading out the music when the dance had gone on long enough and this made things move really smoothly.

  Gary fully understood the assignment!

  Gary fully understood the schedule, and he executed all of the cues perfectly. He was a great MC, and he kept the dance party going all night to send off! He was flexible taking requests from guests. He helped guests remember a line dance, and he danced with them until they got into the swing of it.

  Thankful to have hired Tropic DJs

  We are so thankful to have hired Tropic DJs. Trey absolutely crushed it! He was more than a DJ, he was our MC, funny, respectful and so in tune to the music that we loved and was able to read the room and play what our guests wanted to hear. At no point did we have an empty dance floor.

  Terrific DJ 100%

  We cannot thank Tropic DJs enough for helping to make our wedding day so incredibly special. Jim Hargrove is a terrific DJ, but he also was a fantastic Officiant. He added so many personal details to our ceremony, which allowed us to take those moments to reflect on our journey together and get excited for our future.

  Greatest Ever!

  I was terrified of having a DJ that only played modern top 40 and the Cupid Shuffle. Gary helped me have the wedding of my dreams with a mosh pit and lots of 2000. Thank you thank you thank you Tropic Djs for letting us have the unique, most “us” reception ever.

  Do not look at anyone else

  Tropic is THE DJ company to use or your wedding/event. Do not look at anyone else. The DJ was my highest priority for my wedding and Jim with Tropic DJs was unreal.   Unforgettable night!

  Our dj, Steven, called me the week before the wedding to go over the final details and ensure that nothing was forgotten. He was friendly and professional and I had no doubt that he was going to do a great job. He did not let me down at all. He made sure that everything at the reception went smoothly and everyone had a fantastic time.

People even commented on loving what was playing during cocktail hour and dinner- let alone the reception where he kept the floor packed for hours!

  Jim Hargrove DJed for our wedding, and we are so happy that we hired him through Tropic DJs. I completely agree with all the amazing reviews of this company, as well as for Jim. Jim was so easy and helpful to work with throughout the entire planning process, and he was such a professional in every way during the entire wedding weekend.   Dj Was The Bomb!

  The venue was awesome to work with and accommodating. Jimmy was awesome and he kept the details of the night on target, made necessary announcements for us to be where we needed to be and kept the dance floor hoping! BEST. NIGHT. EVER.
