Just amazing! Working with Tropical All Blooms n’ More was such a pleasure. The owner and florist Althea was such a pleasure to work with. She made the process so easy and convenient. Her pricing is very reasonable and she even threw in some extra, that just made it all worth it. The flowers were so fresh and beautiful. Her eye for design is impeccable and impressive. I have recommended this company to all of my friends and family. If you looking to book a premier florist, this is the company you need. -

This business is a MUST HAVE vendor in South Florida for all of your event floral needs. Althea & the Tropic all Blooms team were absolutely incredible from beginning to end.
1. Affordability - I did several cost comparisons for other florists in the area and they were the most affordable by thousands of dollars. She had so much flexibility in terms of the types of colors, flowers, and layouts which allowed us to work together and make sure I could get exactly what I wanted within our price point.
2: Excellent Communication - I had multiple phone calls with Althea to get exactly what I was looking for a year before my wedding. And even when my needs and vision changed, she never took more than a single day to respond and provide me with an updated invoice (including a week before the wedding!).
3. Beautiful Presentation - When I saw the flowers the day of, I was absolutely blown away. Our chuppah, my bouquet, the table settings, our sweetheart table, and more were perfect. The flowers were in such good shape that I was able to send them to get preserved three days later. She also made the most gorgeous overhead floral installation that completely transformed the space.
4. Fantastic Attitude - This is alluded to above but Althea’s kindness and generosity was truly what made working with her such a pleasurable experience. Even the day off, she acted as me and my husband’s hype woman and took several beautiful photos and videos of us. An absolute bonus to all the amazing things I highlighted above. -

Very creative approach!
Althea was great to work with. She made my wedding look even more beautiful than I thought it would look like. I had an unusual choice of flowers (e.g. jasmine, cherry blossom, cactus etc.) and she found a way to creatively fulfill my dream and all flower arrangements looks really gorgeous and harmonious. Best Florist in South Florida!!
Althea is a wonderful florist and person! She was so sweet and flexible with my budget. Several florist told me it would be impossible to get what I wanted with my budget, but Althea worked her magic and helped me pick my perfect arrangements! She really made me feel important on my wedding day and went above beyond to make my venue gorgeous. What makes Tropic All Blooms n’ More stand out is Althea, the owner, and how she cares about her brides. She is an artist with floral arrangements and is so professional. Althea and her team at Tropic All Blooms n More took our breath away! For a winter wedding in Florida on New years day she had quite the task at hand to bring everything together. Not only is she extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and budget conscious -- but her creativity is truly unmatched. As a very type A bride (2 of us actually) we had a very distinct vision that Althea completely pulled together. We vetted a TON of florists in FL and althea absolutely blew them out of the water. She's a true New Yorker with her no nonsense way of working which really resonated with us. We would recommend her to everyone we know 100x over. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the florals and the chuppah. Truly a vision. She's the best. -

You guys all I can say is WOW. Althea was amazing from the very beginning she is the nicest person who will work with you on your vision and price range. The flowers for my wedding were an absolute dream and blew away all of my expectations. Florist Goddess
Althea far surpassed my expectations with my wedding/ reception flowers, she is a florist goddess. I had a meeting with her a few months before my wedding to give her a basic idea of what I was wanting (I showed her photos from Pinterest). I told her I wanted happy, bright, colorful, tropical flowers and we came up with a basic color scheme together. The night before the wedding we found out we would have to move the ceremony from the beach to a gazebo area due to weather problems. Althea was so accommodating and made it work! The flowers made the wedding and reception absolutely magical! The wind was insane the wedding day and not a single flower moved the entire time, very impressive! All of my guests kept commenting on how breathtaking all the flowers were, I was BEAMING with happiness when I saw everything come together! I took my flowers home and got to enjoy them for another week. Definitely worth every penny! I highly recommend Tropic All Blooms n More! -

I don’t even know where to begin.....
Althea is always available to answer every question and help you with whatever you may need. The centerpieces were beautiful exactly what I envisioned. The arch, the sweetheart table flowers were so spectacular. I sent some pictures to Althea and she nailed it!
The bridesmaids bouquets where so wonderful, I requested golden leaves in the bridesmaids bouquet and she delivered! My bouquet blew me away it was better than the pictures I showed her ! I had to make some last minute changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Althea had no issues helping me with those changes. I would say from all of my wedding vendors she was the best, she was always available and she answered my messages immediately. You can’t beat the prices! Great prices, great quality and beautiful flowers.
She has different packages that will adjust to every budget and she will incorporate the ideas you give her into a beautiful design.
I would recommend her a million times! She will make your day extra special!!! -

Simply breathtaking!
Althea was an absolute dream to work with, she worked with my budget and had so many wonderful ideas. I sent her pictures of different floral arrangements I found through Pinterest and she was able to create a contract with all of my ideas and on my wedding day she brought my dreams to life. My ceremony was absolutely breathtaking, I got so many compliments on the different floral arrangements and decorations that Althea created. My bouquet was more than I had envisioned, Althea incorporated so many different styles of flowers with all the colors I requested. She made my boho vibes come true. Althea was also extremely responsive and answered all of my questions right away. She exceeded my expectations, and brought my ideas to life! -

After our wedding got postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions just one week before (scheduled for March 28th), we had to reschedule all vendors for our new potential wedding. Althea from start to finish showed a great level of professionalism, expertise, and creativity. From day one, Althea amazed us with her great and fast response time, flower colors and texture emphasis and how well she grasped the concept we wanted our wedding to look. Her prices are amazing, and her wedding packages adjust to every budget. When we say every budget, do not be concern that you will be lacking flowers! Althea is such a great florist that she brings your vision to real life with the budget you have. While quoting vendors, Althea always came first in quality, pricing, and enthusiasm. She brought my vision to life!
I am so glad we hired Althea and her team to do the florals for my wedding. She was so responsive and understanding and really took what I wanted to heart. We had to reorganize our entire wedding about a month before our wedding day due to the corona virus pandemic. Althea was able to come up with a different floral plan and she was very flexible working with us on pricing and design. When I saw the reception room I was blown away! The flowers were even more beautiful than I imagined. I would hire her again in a heart beat, and we are hoping to do so when we have a larger celebration later on. Althea is an amazingly talented florists. I came to her when another florist quoted me an amount that was totally out of my budget. My husband and I met with Althea, told her what we were looking for, talked about our budget, and showed her photos. Althea was so personable, passionate, and willing to work with us to create just what we were looking for and all within our budget! She is also very responsive via text, call, or email. Her prices were unbeatable. On the wedding day she delivered exactly what we expected and then some. The bouquets, the ceremony floral decor, and the centerpieces at the reception were truly mesmerizing. The yellow flowers were bright, fresh, and crisp. Tropic All Blooms saved my entire day! She is the sweetest woman who can work with any budget, she listens to what you want and creates absolute master pieces. Thank you to Althea and her team for making our wedding beautiful. She brought to life the pictures and vision I had for our big day even better than I could have imagined. All of our guests complemented how beautiful the arrangements were. She decorated not only the reception but our ceremony location with an arch and arrangements at the beginning of the aisle. Our sweetheart table was amazing and all of the guest tables looked wonderful. Not only is her work excellent but she is fair with pricing. Planning a wedding is costly and I appreciate her working with our budget and still making our wedding beautiful. I highly recommend her. -

Althea and her team did such an amazing job at our wedding. Even though Althea had an emergency happen, she still put her heart and soul into making sure our flowers were perfect for our big day. She ordered extra for us to make sure there was something beautiful everywhere you looked.
Our centerpieces were absolutely stunning, our marriage ceremony arch was dreamy and all of our decorative flowers looked incredible.

Marcia Sent on 02/25/2018I ordered 12 bouquet at $115.00 each, she was gracious enough to give me a $15.00 discount on each bouquet to make it more affordable for me. She successfully created those bouquet for a Valentine's Day event. I was able to view the bouquets as she was in the process. The end result was exactly what I had envisioned. I loved them so much I kept one for myself at home ;-). I have attached two pictures to show the end result.

Please take the time to read the bad reviews. I booked Althea in May 2021 for my January 2022 wedding. At first, she was professional, took the time to go over a proposal with me, and had beautiful, fresh arrangements for another wedding prepared. Fast forward to one month before my wedding and I emailed her to check-in. I let her know that I was looking forward to going over the final details in 2 weeks. This was her response in email: “Hi, if you paid your Deposit nothing changes unless you change. We’ve been doing 4-5 weddings weekly been busy but if your booked. All is well will contact 2weeks before to finalize ceremony times”.
We did not go over the final details until 8 days before my wedding. She bombarded my mother and me with details of her health issues, the overwhelming jobs she took on, and the lack of money she had to complete these jobs. She made my mom and I feel bad for the spike in costs for florals, she then tried to take out all of the expensive flowers that I had requested in May and based my entire theme on. She made promises of getting substitutions for flowers that were too costly and we came to an agreement.
The day before my wedding I asked to meet her in person to see my arrangements to which she said in a text message: “please please just come any time, we have 3 wedding so we are busy”. I arrived at her house and she was not home. Her two assistants did not know who I was and none of my florals were put together. I recognized some of my florals which were still in delivery boxes in an un-air-conditioned part of her home. I was told that they were trying to force open the flowers. There were many withered flowers as well. She ended up calling me to apologize and confidently told me that the withered flowers were not mine and she was busy with a ton of weddings.
On the day of the wedding, I was told by family members that she arrived in her personal vehicle with one assistant. Not a large van, or a moving truck, think small compact vehicle. She then had all of the valets from the resort help her set up. We paid her $350 for set up/breakdown for what? I have pictures of her standing around while a valet serviceman is hanging up gazebo flowers. They were hung off-centered and blocked my husband’s head during our ceremony. I never asked for florals in the center of the gazebo nor did I give her pictures with any florals showing such a thing. She also rushed out of the resort and never decorated our cake. The worst part is she added flowers that we never discussed, that were withered, and completely off theme.
We paid $3,500 and an additional $250 for an extra table arrangement. We only had 9 tall table arrangements, two bridesmaids’ bouquets, 4 boutonnieres, an entry table arrangement, gazebo décor, and florals for our cake which she was contracted to decorate.
I overall will NOT recommend this florist. Her unprofessionalism and lack of follow-through near-ruined my wedding. Please take the time to read the bad reviews, I wish I had.
Below is a breakdown of what I asked for during our initial meeting in May and what I received on my Wedding Day.
What I requested in May: white roses, birds of paradise, blue-dyed dendrobiums, orange syllabubs, orange proteas, phalaenopsis orchids, white lilies, curly willow branches, banana leaves, robellini palm fronds, split-leaf philodendron, and saw palmetto.
These are the florals that she DID NOT discuss and confirm with me prior: Heliconia, mini small orange roses, Boston fern, white hydrangeas, withered syllabubs/ pink roses.
My florals (overall) the day of the wedding: white roses, blue and white-dyed dendrobiums, phalaenopsis orchids (which she cut back due to costs and only added in my bouquet and the bridesmaids), white lilies that were mostly closed shut, heliconia, small orange roses, Boston fern, white hydrangeas, withered syllabubs or pink roses, tropical foliage and a few curly willow branches. -

My entire wedding was incorrect and wrong. Nothing was as planned. She made for the most stressful wedding possible. I felt like I was in such good hands with her after her continuous reassurances that she had everything correct. Colors are wrong, sizes were wrong, she didn't provide what she stated she would. To this day, I fully regret going with Althea Smith as my wedding Florist. She refuses to admit that she was wrong. She will not give us any financial resolution to make this right. She is a scam artist. I want to warn other brides to be to not fall for her scam. Her photographs that are listed on her Knot Page, those are not the weddings that she did. I found those photos posted well before she allegedly did these weddings from florist up north somewhere around the New York area. DONT FALL FOR HER SCAM. Her photos are fake and nothing are as they seem. BEWARE -

What I asked for vs what I got. Smh. Horrible experience and quality . I was actually embarrassed by such horrible flowers. Had to pay my other vendors extra because this company arrived 3 hours late. With dead flowers. Check photos below of a sample of the disastrous florals I purchased. Run! Don’t book this lady
I have been putting this off for some time now but I’m literally losing sleep over this. Run away from this vendor as fast as you can. I recommended her to so many people before my wedding and now I regret it so much. She’s just awful.
Before she says I was a $2000 bride, I was not. I paid $3000, before she says another company handled my flowers, that is untrue. Before she says she had 6 weddings that weekend, that’s untrue she had 3. (I have a text to prove that)
Nothing I say is made up or exaggerated, it’s 100% the truth. I booked with this lady in July of 2020 for my November 2021 wedding. She originally sent me a proposal for $3866.70 and I told her that was too much for our budget & I couldn’t spend more than $2500- asked what we could change to be within budget because I still wanted to use her. Her reply was basically not to worry that she would do the same stuff for $2500 and give me a discount. I thought that was awfully nice & was so excited because she really posts beautiful work on social media and had amazing reviews. I immediately paid my deposit & waited for 2 weeks before my wedding to finish final details (as per her contract). I did not hear from her so I decided to reach out 2 weeks prior. Her reply was “call me”.
I knew something was wrong and she began to tell me how the farms aren’t honoring discounts and asked if I could come up with the $1600 discount she had given me because my wedding was now impossible to do & for some reason she thought I had a bigger budget and that’s why she didn’t inform me of this earlier. She was very rude and said she couldn’t believe I don’t understand what inflation & a pandemic is. Also asked if I haven’t noticed prices going up at grocery stores and that she finds this hard to believe. I cried & told her I was already 10k over budget and couldn’t spend anymore money and her answer was “10k over? Where. Not on flowers!” She told me to think about what I could do and once I brought up the contract that was signed she told me “if you’re going to start with that terminology of contracts then I will just have to pay the difference for your flowers.”
MIND YOU THIS IS 2 WEEKS BEFORE MY WEDDING!
I spoke to my fiancé and due to her attitude we decided we would give her more money because we didn’t wanna end up with crappy ugly flowers. We gave her an extra $500.
This brings the total I paid to $3000.
My original quote was for 20 center pieces ($75 each) I only ended up getting 16 ($300 less).
She quoted me for 10 chair bouquets for the ceremony ($35 each), I did not get those ($350 less). So based on this math alone I gave her an extra $1150 (extra $500 and the product I did not get). I will attach pictures of everything!
The day of my wedding my flowers were clearly dead & looked like they were reused from another event maybe. (Pictures attached)
She also mismatched the vases for the sad center pieces she gave me. My mother of the bride & groom corsages were just left in a bowl of water and they were dead and so ugly. I told them not to wear them because that was beyond embarrassing. My bridesmaids bouquets were a hydrangea with a pink rose stuck in the middle (a literal joke). I even told her we could do a lot of greenery to make it cheaper & that I saw a budget package on her website that was well within my budget and she told me I do not understand weddings… just really rude all around.
Now my wedding arch! All dead flowers- or reused flowers. They looked like they were melting off and it was just embarrassing. I can’t believe I paid $3000 for this crap.
She also asked me for details on my ceremony time and I told her to reach out to my planner because she has all the info. Her response was that she talks to much and that she just needs the ceremony time. I would never recommend her & hope other brides speak up. I am considering taking her to small claims court to at least get my extra $500 back plus the money for the product I did not receive. I have blocked her number because I do not want to hear from her. I just want my money back & to forget I ever made the mistake of booking her. -

Wedding flowers not bloomed for wedding
Althea was easy to work with and made it seem like I was in good hands. Unfortunately there were alot of disappointments. 90% of the Lilly’s she used weren’t bloomed yet! The flowers at the alter were crooked! I had to speak up right before my first look. Also, the “arch” at the alter was not what was showed when we originally booked. I upgraded my package and spent almost double what I originally planned and was still disappointed. Over $5k for flowers that aren’t even bloomed all the way. -
