Robyn was so sweet and gives you options for each part of the ceremony to choose from so that it doesn't feel overwhelming to put together but you really feel like you can make it your own. She got back to me quickly anytime I reached out and even incorporated a last minute request I'd made the night before. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Wedding Officiant
Robyn officiated our wedding in June 2025 and did a wonderful job! She made the entire process of creating our ceremony so easy and smooth. Additionally, she responded promptly to our emails. On our wedding day she was very professional and used a clear voice that everyone was able to understand. Many of our guests commented on the wonderful job she did officiating our ceremony. We were really unsure what to look for in an officiant, but we definitely made the right choice with Robyn. From the very first phone call, we knew we wanted her to be a part of our day. She put us at ease and was always available for questions/concerns. The perfect officiant

Having a religious wedding ceremony was so important to my husband and I. We did not want to have a church wedding though. We are so pleased that Robyn officiated our wedding, I highly recommend hiring Robyn and Trinity Cottage Weddings as your officiant! We honestly did not know where to begin when choosing an officiant. I was raised Catholic and my husband Christian and we were both the first in our families to not wed in a church and I was overwhelmed with where to begin. Robyn was, in one word, incredible. She’s completely open and non-judgmental regarding your religious beliefs (or lack of). She helps you create the ceremony exactly as you want it, as she breaks down each component and emails the couple an assortment of samples to choose from- even parts such as cultural rituals if that’s your thing. It would be horrible to write your vows and then lose them before the ceremony, right? Well not with Robyn! She has the couple email them to her beforehand and then she hands them to you at the right time during the ceremony. Robyn is kind, personable, and super thoughtful. She responds very quickly and is extremely prompt overall. We would highly recommend her to anyone. She’s worth every penny.

She gave us great advice and tips to create a ceremony that was reflective of us as a couple, which was exactly what we were looking for. She had sample scripts for all types of ceremonies. She made the process easy and kept us calm on our special day! Our guests even commented on how kind Robyn is and how her words were meaningful and spoken beautifully. Let's start from the beginning... My wife and I wanted to get married outside. We are both Catholic but did not want a formal mass in a church. My wife met Robyn at the River Stone Manor wedding show approximately 11 years ago while planning our big day. I first had the pleasure of sitting down with her at Dunkin Donuts and discussing the things we wanted for our ceremony. She was so great to work with and made us feel so special for our wedding day. It was a no brainer for me to have her renew our vows for our 10 year anniversary! She was so helpful sending me ideas for things to say to surprise my wife with. My wife was so blown away with the surprise vow renewal and Robyn made it feel just as special as she did 10 years ago, even though we are now in a pandemic. Fantastic Tailored To You Ceremony
Robyn did an amazing job officiating our ceremony! Not only did we select each piece of our ceremony to include everythingwe wanted, Robyn made the process so simple and fun! She was responsive and so flexible - we had to change venue and start time because of a fire at our first venue, then changed the date and time again following COVID-19. We knew from our first meeting with Robyn that we wanted her to officiate our wedding. Robyn was so personable and took the time to get to know us and our vision for our wedding ceremony. Robyn helped us to create a ceremony that was truly our own. She provided us with a general template to work off of but allowed us to add readings and traditions to the ceremony that made it unique. She provided guidance and advise throughout the process and was very easy to work with. After the ceremony, several of our guests commented on what a beautiful job Robyn did. With Robyn King, we were able to create our own ceremony. Each and every part of it was chosen by us, and I loved that. We are not religious, and we didn't want an overly religious ceremony. Robyn was fantastic! She let us choose each "component" for our wedding so we could completely personalize the experience. On the day of the wedding, she arrived on time and talked us through any last minute details. She brought a copy of the vows my husband and I wrote for each other so we wouldn't have to worry about keeping track of them ourselves. When rain popped up during our outdoor ceremony, I asked her to skip ahead to the "i do's" and she was fine with the last minute change of plans and carried on smoothly to pronounce us husband and wife :) She sent us a copy of our marriage license later that night via email, and said our certificate would be in the mail in about a week!

Where do I begin? Robyn was incredible to work with. She provides a templated ceremony, for you to "Choose Your Own Adventure" so-to-speak. However, she's not tied down by this, and welcomes and encourages a little variety and individuality. We were so lucky to find Robyn King to officiate our wedding. We had decided to plan our wedding less than one year in advance and we knew finding an officiant was going to be a tall order. After finding her, she was quick to respond to our inquiry and setup our initial meeting.
What really impressed us was how organized Robyn was. She provided us with ceremony templates that allowed us to pick each part of our ceremony and customize it for our big day. What also impressed us was the suggestions that she made. Right up front, we told her that this was going to be a budget wedding and her ideas for the types of things we could do was excellent. Robyn has a welcoming personality and she was very easy to talk to.
On our wedding day Robyn showed up right on time and was calm in how she coordinated everything. Her calmness was the best thing for the groom as he was very nervous. Robyn went out of her way to notice the groom’s nervousness and get him to a point where he could relax. During the ceremony, she took our choices and implemented them perfectly. Her attitude and personality set the perfect tone for our nuptials.
We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant to get us married. Robyn was the best and we highly recommend Trinity Cottage Weddings.

My husband and I are really glad to have found Robyn. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, she was great. Great communication, great ideas, she even referred us to the florist we ended up choosing.
In order to decide on how we wanted the ceremony to proceed, Robyn sent us over 100 potential sections and we chose from those the entire ceremony. She did tell us that we could completely create one on our own, but neither of us were really interested in doing that. The ceremony turned out great and we're so glad we chose Robyn to marry us.
She is a bit on the pricey side, but we found it to be well worth the money, and she offers a military discount, which is much appreciated.

After talking with her, she eased our fears. I'm so glad she did because our ceremony was beautiful. Several people told us afterwards what an amazing ceremony we had.

The materials she provided us with to help create our PERSONALIZED wedding ceremony were top notch and really allowed my Husband and I to create a ceremony that was unique to us. Robyn allowed us to make our ceremony our own and even incorporated ideas that she said she had never done before (we did a poem exchange to each other in lieu of readings). She incorporated a rose ceremony and a hand blessing as well. After our ceremony we received SO many compliments about Robyn's service. Everyone said they heard her very well (which I often struggle at weddings trying to hear the officiant) and that our ceremony was the most personalized ceremony they have ever been to. Even when Robyn arrived on site the day of the wedding she immediately started to tend to the groom and I. She made sure we were not stressed about anything and gave me (the bride) so many compliments about my wedding look (she really made me feel like a princess). We received our wedding certificate VERY prompt as well. Hands down, Robyn made our ceremony unique and memorable! We are so thankful we found her!!!

Robyn officiated our wedding on Nov. 16th and she was phenomenal! From our first meeting to the wedding date, she proved herself to be one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process. She was very understanding of the fact that we have religious relatives but did not want a religious ceremony, and worked with us to create a ceremony that every person who attended enjoyed (and raved about afterwards). Robyn sends her couples countless examples for every part of the ceremony, and is completely open to you adding in your own pieces or rewording some of hers.
On the actual wedding day, Robyn was a lifesaver. She arrived early and immediately went to work calming everyone down. She grabbed the boutonnieres and distributed them to the guys, convinced a nervous bride that there was nothing to be nervous about, and made sure that everyone, especially the groom, knew where they needed to be and when. After the wedding, she immediately took care of the marriage license and we received it sooner than expected.
Everyone who was involved with the wedding loved her, especially the bride and groom!

Robyn was everything we hoped for in an officiant! She was very helpful with piecing together our ceremony to be exactly what we wanted. Robyn was very professional, she met with us within the week of contacting her. Was able to be the officiant to our wedding which was less than one month away when we contacted her. On our wedding day she showed up early to help arrange things, she was great with rolling with whatever happened from the kids not walking down the aisle to the music being lost. She truly made our wedding day all about us and made us feel extremely special. I couldn't have asked for a better officiant!

The actual ceremony of your day is really the most important reason why everyone has gathered; who you chose to officiate, what is said and how people feel after you’ve walked down the isle will be the lasting impression of your day….and for this I am so grateful that we chose Robyn for our pastor.
We were planning our wedding from FL, so finding someone we felt connected with was key for us. A very close family friend was married the year before by Robyn, so with the high recommendation, we set up a conference call. When Robyn got back to us, she offered to have the meeting in a SKYPE format, which I felt was extremely professional considering most local people could meet face to face but we were unable to do so living far away and traveling very little to NY. Once we talked with Robyn, I knew we were going to be working with someone who really cared about the people she was marrying. The material she offers for your review is extensive but not needed if you wish to mold your own details of the day – we used both, and she was extremely open and helpful with suggestions. We placed personal and sentimental moments into ceremony, which to this day people are still raving about. Without fail you will not go wrong with having such a lovely person be part of such a milestone in your life.

Robyn was an absolute dream to work with from day one. She thoroughly explained each step of our wedding ceremony and gave us free reign to create our own. She was responsive and professional throughout our engagement. On the day of the wedding she showed up early to check in with myself and my husband. She gave us a quick rundown of how the ceremony would unfold. I was very nervous and Robyn was so sweet and kind to me and helped me calm my nerves. Being an older couple without any specific church affiliation, we were looking for just the right person to allow us to direct our ceremony to fit our own unique perspective on love, caring and even our individual spiritual beliefs. After a lot of research and communication with what seemed to be cookie cutter, non-involved officiates, Rev. Robyn Posson entered our lives -- and what a fortuitous moment that was!
From the moment we met her, we could tell how organized Rev. Posson is, but also how caring and concerned for what we wanted on our special day. It was so nice to have her degree of professionalism joined perfectly with such a warm and radiant personality. Coming out to where we lived to marry us outdoors was nothing unusual for her, and it was a brilliant, loving ceremony and memory. We included both a sand ceremony and hand fasting, both of which she included in a beautiful fashion. There was the right degree of humor to offset our nerves without being overboard, and everyone who attended has continued to comment on what a wonderful ceremony it was.
As a contrasting story, my husband’s son was recently married and sadly, used someone his wife’s friend had recommended to them. Not only was this person over an hour late arriving to perform the service (she went to the Bride’s parents home instead of the venue!), but she was inappropriately dressed, never apologized to the bride and groom or guests for being late, and brought her daughter with her, who kept interrupting. The wedding was outdoors, it was hot, and people were upset. In addition, since they had paid in advance (full amount), they were stuck.
We highly recommend Trinity Cottage Weddings and Rev. Robyn Posson to anyone planning their wedding. She will certainly not embarrass or upset your precious event, and you will not be disappointed in any way; you will just fall in love with her too! Suzanne & Eric Burleigh

Robyn Posson was wonderful to work with. We live out of state and did a lot of our planning via skype and e-mail. She was easy to talk to, professional, and made the process stress free. With her guidance, planning for our ceremony was simple and we were able to make our vows as personal as we wanted.
Robyn was also flexible. We were not able to have our rehearsal at the actual venue so she came to another location. The actual rehearsal was quick, and Robyn made sure that everyone knew their roles for the ceremony.
The day of the wedding, Robyn was early and the ceremony was perfect. I would definitely recommend Trinity Cottage Weddings!!
