Trillium Club is the BEST
Megan at the Trillium club is the best. The club itself is redone and beautiful and Megan made everything seamless! We are from Dallas so planned my daughter's wedding from afar. Megan made it easy and we LOVED every second of it!Megan at the Trillium club is the best. The club itself is redone and beautiful and Megan made everything seamless! The venue was perfect for our wedding weekend. Chef Taylor perfectly crafted our custom menu and his staff presented all of the food in such a beautiful way. I can honestly say we accomplished the feat of having a memorable wedding feast! The bar staff also served custom cocktails and the results were delicious! We used the Landings dining area for our Rehearsal dinner and our Post-Wedding brunch, both meals were incredible!
The Trillium events staff was fantastic with set up and considering they were working directly with me (the bride) and no wedding coordinator, they made the process as seamless as possible. The venue was perfect for our wedding weekend. We got married here years ago and are planning a trip back to celebrate our anniversary. We can't wait to go back to Trillium - this time with our kids! We're grateful for the fabulous memories we have of our wedding weekend. We had a lot of guests from out of town and we took advantage of everything the area has to offer -- boating, golfing, hiking, fishing, white water rafting... We also had a fun rehearsal dinner with a live blue grass band, a gorgeous ceremony, a great dinner, and a party that lasted until the wee hours. Honestly, our friends still talk about it as their favorite wedding ever. Everyone we encountered at Trillium was friendly and accommodating, even when an unexpected guest turned up, or people got lost and arrived later than planned. We could not be happier with our experience!!We got married here years ago and are planning a trip back to celebrate our anniversary. We can't wait to go back to Trillium - this time with our kids! The most beautiful wedding venue!
We chose Trillium for our wedding because I grew up visiting my grandmother in the area and have always been in love with how beautiful and special it is there. We had our ceremony on the main clubhouse lawn and the reception in the main dining room. The lawn with its perfect landscaping and views of the mountains and lake around it was the perfect setting for our ceremony. The porch was great for pictures and cocktail hour, and the dining room created the best atmosphere for an elegant dinner followed by a night time dance party. The whole place is just gorgeous. Megan was so helpful in creating the perfect day for us. She went back and forth over so many details with us, met with us in person to pick out and decide on design elements, and then made sure everything was perfect the day of our wedding. Everything honestly looked even better than we thought it was going to! Chef Taylor helped us to create the perfect menu of passed hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour followed by the most delicious plated dinner. There was not one item that didn’t taste AMAZING. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was. Thank you so much Megan and Taylor for the perfect wedding day at the perfect venue! We chose Trillium for our wedding because I grew up visiting my grandmother in the area and have always been in love with how beautiful and special it is there. Food and Beverage Director Thomas Henderson and Chef James Hargis made my wedding day exceptional. The food was exactly like what I'd wanted (and more) and the staff treated me and my guests like royalty.
At other venues I was told to select my menu from a list of options, instead Mr. Henderson and Chef Hargis met with me and talked about my favorite foods and what I'd like to have. I thought that since the clubhouse is so chic and upscale, this might be the kind of place that got snooty when I mentioned needing to stick to a budget. They didn't bat an eyelash. They were totally professional and laid back and suggested ways that I could have pricey food (shrimp, crab, alcohol, etc.) served in ways that would make it go further and wouldn't be as expensive, like shrimp and grits (my fav) instead of cocktail shrimp. More than a dozen people have told me that my wedding food was the best they'd ever had.
The venue is absolutely spotless and SO much nicer than any hotel ballroom you'll find in the area. The staff were all impeccably dressed and so gracious and polite. Several of my guests went out of their way later to tell me how remarkable the venue and its staff were.
Initially, the per person food and beverage minimum may seem high, but you need to consider that EVERYTHING is taken care of. They even provided the centerpieces and extra tables and chairs that I needed. I didn't have to book anything extra. That made my wedding day much less stressful and I was able to bask the happiness of the day. In the long run, I think it was much cheaper than if I had used another venue and the view and atmosphere at the Trillium Clubhouse are unparalleled.Food and Beverage Director Thomas Henderson and Chef James Hargis made my wedding day exceptional. Had a lovely rehearsal dinner for over 100 held at Trillium. Food was delicious and chef was a pleasure to work with... very professional. Waitstaff did an amazing job of providing quick service. Social director worked with us throughout the planning stages and even was willling to keep cocktail hour on the lawn even though rain threatened. View from clubhouse is incredible and I would highly recommend it as a place to hold an unforgettable party!Had a lovely rehearsal dinner for over 100 held at Trillium. Beautiful Venue, Frustrating Communication
We had both our ceremony and reception at the Trillium Clubhouse. We were planning from across the country, so we wanted an all inclusive venue to make planning easier. Trillium offers set-up/clean-up of personal decor, catering and bar services, and chairs/tables/linens. This helped a lot in limiting the number of wedding vendors we needed to manage prior to the wedding.
Things that we loved:
-The clubhouse lawn provides breathtaking views.
-The clubhouse rental includes a big dining room area, a separate room with the bar, and a small "meeting room" where our groomsmen all got ready.
-The food was delicious and Chef Taylor was great about guiding us through the best options for our guest count and serving preferences (plated dinner vs buffet.)
Things that were frustrating for us:
-It often took weeks (or even months) to get venue coordination questions answered via email or phone call. We often had to pause our planning while waiting on responses regarding layout options/size and shape of available tables/transportation options.
-There were multiple occasions where we scheduled phone calls to check-in on planning details, and we did not receive a phone call at the designated time (or at all.) In each instance there was a different reason for the lack of communication, all of which seemed to be related to Trillium being understaffed.
-On both occasions where we were to meet Trillium staff on the wedding weekend (once on Friday to drop off decor and once on Sunday to pick-up decor), a team member was not present at the agreed upon time. We had to call/text then wait 30-40 minutes for them to arrive.
Overall, we are glad we had our wedding at Trillium, but would not recommend it to other couples who are looking to reduce the stress of planning a wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception at the Trillium Clubhouse.
