Wonderful Experience with TSQ!

Wonderful experience with TSQ for our wedding. Very easy to work with and the performance was flawless. Many guests said it was one of their favorite parts of the evening. Safe to say we were happy with the choice 🥳 would recommend to anyone looking to make an event extra special!

We loved working with Tribute Strings! They were fantastic to communicate with. Always responsive and very thoughtful in their answers. They had a great mix of classic and pop/rock music which was exactly what we wanted. On the day, they were terrific! Our friends and family loved listening to them. They loved the wide range of songs they played and it gave off the perfect vibe for our ceremony. Couldn’t have dreamed of anything better. Go book them!

Best addition to our ceremony/cocktail hour!

We absolutely LOVED having the Tribute Strings Quartet play during our ceremony and cocktail hour! They made our wedding day extra special as this was something that was on our wish list. They were extremely easy to work with and had a huge repertoire of songs and able to learn a new one that was special to us! Thank you for giving us such beautiful music on our special day!

Modern Wedding Music Done Right

We knew we didn't want the normal string quartet for our wedding, and Tribute String Quartet was the perfect choice. We felt at ease from our first emails with Aaron, and he helped bring our vision to life. They handle custom arrangements: Aaron guided us away from having too many (and not getting to enjoy them) and the musicians and their arranger brought the ones we wanted to life. We loved watching our guests have the moment of recognition for our favorite songs. The musicians we had were incredibly talented, and the music was beautiful. We highly recommend working with Lucy Music, Tribute String Quartet, and Aaron. Some quartets can play pop and rock, but it doesn't sound the same as when musicians specialize in working with that repertoire.

Great experience

We got married in May and for the ceremony we decided to hire TSQ to play a song that was very special to us and TSQ did an amazing job with the arrangement. The selection of settings they had was amazing and sounded so great. Everything was so beautiful and we had guests tell us how lovely the music was, can’t recommend enough!

Best music for ceremony!

Tribute String Quartet was the perfect addition to our wedding ceremony at the Brooklyn Winery this past July! They were punctual, professional, and best of all - sounded amazing! They have a great mix of classical and modern music options and even took a request that wasn’t on their list! It was so special to have live music for our ceremony!

Tribute String Quartet was amazing

So happy that we had TSQ perform at our wedding. They set just the right tone for the day. Their vast repertoire, expressive artistry, and flawless execution spoke to the amazing talent each musician has individually, exceeded only by their collective ability to fill the room with the perfect compositions. They were extremely professional and easy to work with day of and in the weeks leading up to the event. Planning our own wedding in New York was pretty stressful, but working with TSQ was extraordinarily easy and the end result sublime.

A Top Notch Experience!

We are so thrilled that we booked Tribute String Quartet for our wedding! They performed for our ceremony and cocktail hour and so many of our guests commented on how amazing the quartet was. As a musician myself I an attest that they played brilliantly and that the arrangements were excellent. We asked that they play pop music (including doing two custom arrangements for us) and they totally nailed what we were looking for.

Perfect way to add that extra magic to our wedding cremony

We loved working with these musicians (in trio form) for our intimate Prospect Park wedding this October! We felt taken care of from the moment we started emailing them: Aaron (our point-of-contact) was reassuring, full of helpful information, and professional. Their repertoire was wide-ranging, from modern to instrumental, and it was a treat to choose a custom song for the day as well.

We walked down to the Beatles' 'In My Life' and (our custom arrangement) Craig Armstrong's 'Portugese Love Theme.' We recessed to the Beach Boys' 'God Only Knows'!

Christina, Ali, and Emily were prompt, friendly, charming, and brought their craft into our wedding day with talent and care. We feel so lucky to have had this group as a part of our wedding day, and would recommend them for almost any context in a heartbeat.

So much fun. Perfect quartet

We chose to hire the string quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were incredible. We could not be happier with our choice. We still talk about how happy we were to hear certain songs come up and watch the guests slowly realize what they were listening to and the joy on their faces. I cannot say enough just how FUN they were.

They have a huge catalogue of song choices to the point where it was hard for us to narrow down what our must plays were! All of our guests had a blast and so many people stopped us during cocktail hour to tell us how much fun they were having bopping along to pop songs. We had some older guests say, "I can't believe they can play this song!" and some younger guests say, "they played all the hits!"

They were also exceptionally easy to work with (thanks Aaron at Lucy Music!) and they were absolutely professional.

Great music, A+ experience

When I heard Tribute String Quartet's cover of "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys, I knew I wanted to hire them for our wedding! Their repertoire list of pop song covers (and classical music) is extensive, creative, and fun. My husband walked down the aisle to "Take on Me" by A-Ha (his first choice was "Take My Breath Away" but I thought it would be too slow...) and I walked down the aisle to "God Only Knows." When you book them for your wedding, the package includes one original arrangement, so I asked for Sufjan Stevens's "Chicago" to be played during the cocktail reception. Having live music at our wedding was really important to me and Tribute String Quartet did a beautiful job. My communications with Aaron in advance of the wedding were excellent; he was very flexible and communicative, as we planned our wedding during the pandemic.

Amazing group!

TSQ was an amazing addition to our wedding! We had the group play for our ceremony and they were so great. They added a classy yet fun vibe to our wedding, which was exactly what we were looking for. They have a huge selection - we had them play everything from Ave Maria to Just Like Heaven by The Cure. We highly recommend their cover of “At Last” for a wedding too! Plus Aaron who reps and books the group is so easy to work with, and gave us guidance on what songs may fit best in certain parts of the ceremony.

Highlight of our wedding!

The absolute highlight of our wedding. My husband heard them at wedding he had worked while bartending and really loved them. We were able to choose from covers of songs from bands ranging from the cure to The Beach Boys to tears for fears. Our guests loved the music and the quartet worked so hard to make sure that we enjoyed our requests. They were also so kind and flexible regarding the weather and elements (we had the ceremony on the beach). We could not recommend them more!

Sophisticated and charming touch to our celebratory event!

We were fortunate that we got to see the Tribute String Quartet (TSQ) in action at my sister's wedding and were delighted when they were available to perform at our celebration. TSQ's range of songs are so broad and we went for a current, modern selection that was the perfect way to kick off our cocktail reception. The high point for me was getting to choose a song NOT on the song list and TSQ performed "Still into You" by Paramore which was FANTASTIC! Truthfully, despite having guests to attend to, I just wanted to listen to the music the whole night. You absolutely cannot go wrong with TSQ. The professionalism and attention to detail from start to finish made my job as party host that much easier.

Great cocktail hour performance

I absolutely loved having Lucy Music's string quartet play modern music at our cocktail hour. Our church wedding limited our choices for music, so it was important to me to incorporate music in the reception. I loved the quartet's renditions of the Cure, and 80s hits. I got tons of compliments from attendees. And the bad was easy to work with.

Tribute String Quartet - Great Ceremony Music

The Tribute String Quartet did a wonderful job at my client's Vienn and Sal's wedding at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC (Im a wedding planner). They were on time, quick to set up, flexible about placement in the room and very attentive to cues. They not only followed my direction and charts well, but I also felt I could trust them to read the room and understand when to fade out without worry. They played a wide range of music styles - Elvis Presley, Coldplay, Eric Clapton and Linkin Park! They are so good at playing ANY music my clients love which makes the ceremony so much more personal and special. Aaron is always great leading up to the event - he works hard to go over all the logistics to set us up for a smooth wedding day

Fantastic Musicians

Going into wedding planning, the only thing we 100% knew that we wanted was a string quartet. We heard about TSQ from a musician friend who occasionally plays with them and we were not disappointed! We asked for a few new/difficult songs from our favorite film scores, and I was worried that we were asking too much, but their arrangements were incredible and exceeded our expectations. The ceremony music was one of the first things our guests mentioned! TSQ will be one of the best investments you can make in your wedding if you want your music to make a lasting impression.

Wonderful Experience

We worked with Lucy Music and the Tribute String Quartet for our wedding at the Brooklyn Winery in March. They were absolutely fantastic and worked with me throughout my many requests and last minute changes. Overall I found them to be very professional, responsive and easy to work with. They even helped arrange a special (not very well known) song to be played during the ceremony while a family member sang. They did an excellent job and it was one of the most special and memorable moments of the entire wedding. I highly recommend. Thanks again!

Tribute String Quartet did a magnificent job on our wedding day. We had them play before and during the ceremony, and then during cocktail hour and got tons of compliments. They arranged a new song at our request (our recessional song) and they made it just beautiful. They were also SUPER easy to work with, accommodating one very demanding venue and then working with us through a venue change - all with no drama or stress at all. Highly recommend!

We had Tribute String Quartet play during the ceremony at our wedding in April and they were wonderful! From the beginning, Aaron was so easy to work with - could explain our options and responded to questions quickly. I found their song selection so much fun to choose from, and the whole experience was really easy and seamless. The Quartet even learned "Happy Together" by the Turtles for the end of our ceremony to make it even more special. I would highly recommend TSQ and Lucy Music to anyone planning their wedding!

We hired TSQ for our wedding at the Angel Orensanz Foundation and we were extremely satisfied with the end result. In the 30-45 minutes leading up to our ceremony, as well as during the actual ceremony, they were able to set the mood using songs we had selected. Many of our guests commented on how nice it was to have the TSQ there. We were so happy with the end result and would readily recommend TSQ for your event.

Working with the Tribute String Quartet was BEYOND easy! They are quick to respond, and complete professionals. They were given pretty minimal prompting and directions during our ceremony, and yet were able to play perfectly on cue! Having them perform instrumental versions of some of our favorite songs as the bridal party + I walked down the aisle made the experience so much more special. While I wish I had been able to hear more of them before and after the ceremony (I was away taking photos), I only heard great things from my guests! Highly recommended!

TSQ played the prelude, processional and recessional music at our September wedding and they did a fabulous job! We wanted our guests to experience something "different" in terms of music they would expect to hear via the strings, which would typically be classical pieces. What we love about TSQ is that they are versatile enough to play familiar, popular music that can cater to any crowd. For example, hearing a Stevie Wonder or Marvin Gaye song on the strings. Guests LOVED the musical twist! It was different, but relatable. Not only this, but we had a special request to have a singer possibly accompany TSQ for the wedding party/bridal processional and Aaron was more than happy to oblige. He merged TSQ with a singer named J.D. Smoothe from one of the other bands he books. The resulting rendition of John Legend's "All of Me" still has guests talking about it more than 3 months later! We had never heard the rendition until walking down the aisle, and was definitely more than pleased. We appreciated Aaron's kindness, flexibility and patience all around with planning, and truly appreciate the talent of the wonderful musicians. TSQ and J.D. Smoothe's joint performance definitely added that something "special" to our wedding day and they are highly recommended!

Listen to some of TSQ's tracks on their site and search for them on YouTube. You'll be stunned by how the strings version of a pop or rock song can be transformed into something even more amazing. We hired them for our ceremony and cocktail hour and we got so many compliments from our guests about how original and incredible the music was. I walked down the aisle to Guns 'n' Roses "Sweet Child O' Mine" and it was absolutely magical. All my guests laughed when they realized what the song was, which is exactly what I was hoping for. They were truly one of the highlights of our day, and could not have been more professional. Aaron was great to work with and super cool - we didn't send our final song selections until the week of our wedding, and it was no problem. Everyone was where they were supposed to be, when they were supposed to be there, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a really cool way to differentiate yourself from all the other weddings, book TSQ for your ceremony (or the whole shebang!). You won't regret it.

The TSQ played for our service (The Engagements played the reception party). We had them play some special material with a singer and accordionist outside of their usual repertoire and they learned it quickly in a rehearsal before the service, played with great feeling and sounded wonderful. Tribute String Quartet is a group of extremely talented musicians. I had heard them at a showcase that their management company put on and we immediately saw how our ceremony could turn into cocktail hour and then dinner. I found them to be reasonably priced and extremely professional to work with.

Even though it wasn't part of their repertoire, Tribute String Quartet perfected the Bangles' "Eternal Flame" for our processional, and they provided the music for our cocktail reception. We had nothing but compliments from our guests and we couldn't have been happier ourselves. Lucy Music was professional and responsive in coordinating the musicians and our playlist. Bravo!

Tribute String Quartet was fantastic! We booked them to play our ceremony and cocktail hour and they even traveled out of state to be there for us. I love string music at weddings but wanted something a little less traditional than your typical string quartet. When I came upon TSQ during my research and listened to their music online, I was hooked! No other string quartet/trio came close to producing such a beautiful sound. I worked with Aaron throughout the planning and booking process and he was extremely responsive and organized. He was especially helpful in working with our budget and suggested we have TSQ perform as a trio instead of a quartet, which was great. When our wedding day arrived, I didn't need to worry about TSQ at all. They seamlessly set up and performed for the ceremony and cocktail hour and were flexible in working with our site coordinator to make last minute changes due to impending rain. Our guests really enjoyed their music--my only regret is that with everything going on, I didn't get to hear them as much as our guests! Hopefully I'll have the pleasure of attending another wedding where TSQ has been hired to play!

They were early and ready to go quickly. Easy to work. All smiles.

Wow! If you're looking to set the tone to your ceremony, Tribute String Quartet is the way to do it. Their performance was noted by many guests as a highlight of the entire wedding event and with good reason. From the opening note to the last, their beautiful melodies set a perfect backdrop to our special day. I couldn't recommend them any higher!

FANTASTIC! The Tribute String Quartet played our wedding ceremony and were absolutely wonderful. We hired them a bit last minute but they were open to learning a song for us and gave us so much individualized attention that we felt like they really cared. The musicians were incredibly talented and our entire experience was efficient and professional. I would hire them again in a second and would recommend them to anyone. Loved them!

The quartet played a selection of songs that we picked out for our wedding ceremony. My guests couldn't stop raving about how amazing they sounded -- which is pretty impressive since they only played before and after the ceremony. My wedding party walked down the aisle to "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys and it couldn't have sounded more perfectly. My communications with the band through Aaron were prompt, professional, and you could tell they really have their clients in mind in all of their interactions. I highly recommend Tribute for your wedding!

The Tribute String Quartet played during the ceremony and cocktail hour portions of our wedding. They were WONDERFUL! They were very professional to work with in booking and organizing the event (Aaron was very responsive via email), and professional and excellent performers during the event itself.

We asked them to perform a selection of songs from their “classical” list for the prelude and ceremony, and then a selection of songs from their “popular” list for the cocktail hour. And we had asked them also to learn the song “Enjoy the Silence” by Depeche Mode, which they did and played for us during cocktails!

Many of our guests told us they had such a good time listening to the Tribute String Quartet’s versions of popular songs. We highly recommend them for your special event.

I first heard the Tribute String Quartet at a friend's wedding and was immediately interested in booking them for my own. I hurried up and booked them the day after my friend's wedding as mine was about 2 months away.

The booking experience was easy and painless. Aaron, the quartet's manager, was a delight to work with - friendly, prompt email replies, helpful in choosing which of several potential songs we'd requested would serve best as the processional and recessional music. In the end we requested David Bowie's "Heroes" for our processional and "Queen Bitch" for the recessional, and the quartet performed excellent arrangements of both - classical enough to fly under the radar for our older guests, but recognizable enough to make our younger guests smile.

The quartet also played in the moments before the ceremony and during the cocktail hour afterwards. Their classical arrangements of great pop songs were exactly what I'd been looking for, and the songs were both well arranged and perfectly suited the mood at any given moment. So many of our guests complimented their performance - they were absolutely the perfect choice for us. Plus their arrival and exits were totally seamless!

I'd definitely recommend the Tribute String Quartet for any classy event that begs a subtle contemporary twist.

I was so pleased that the Tribute String Quartet was able to switch the processional at almost the last minute after my finicky husband changed his mind about using the Grateful Dead for the processional. Every piece was exquisite, and every time I hear "I Will" by the Beatles or "Just Like Heaven," I think of my wedding, and how happy it was. I am not sure if this will make sense, but I think it is notable that I don't think of the band, since the only wedding bands that stick in my mind are incredibly cheesy. Instead, I remember the elegance and also the tailored-to-us feel of requesting a classical quartet to provide a pop playlist. This was really one of the stand-out vendors at my wedding, and while I doubt I will ever get married again, if I did, I would ask the Tribute String Quartet to play (and you won't find me saying that about my cake!)

We are so happy to have found the Tribute String Quartet to play at our wedding ceremony last month. They were a referred to us by our venue, and it is easy to see why! Aaron was very easy to work with and communicative when we were confirming our booking, and the quartet even includes one free custom arrangement for a song outside of their catalog which allows you to make your music choices even more personalized. TSQ did the ceremony music and cocktail hour at our wedding last summer. They were fantastic. They learned custom songs for our respective entrances and their mix of musical choices is stunning. They are excellent muscians, very easy to work with and just fun. Highly, highly recommend.

We had TSQ play for our outdoor cocktail hour and we loved them. Aaron was terrific to deal with - we were working with a budget and specific needs and he worked with us over a few months as we figured out what we really wanted/needed/could afford - which turned out to the the trio. On the day the musicians sounded great & looked great & we were both so happy that we'd made the decision to have them. We loved the songs they played. They really added a unique and special touch to our day. I would highly recommend them to any couple!

We had Tribute String Trio perform our ceremony music, accompany a singer for a song during our ceremony, and play during our cocktail hour. The ladies were fantastic musicians, playing our special requests with enthusiasm, and our guests were positively delighted with TSQ's musical selections! They added the perfect amount of class and playfulness that we wanted and we would hire them again and again if we had the occasion!

It was love at first "listen" with the TSQ! Coming from a hefty musical background, this quartet's tremendous talent and diverse repertoire was something that caught my (along with my groom's and my family's) attention right away. The group was willing and able to travel for us to perform at our ceremony/cocktail hour and incorporated our song requests. Our guests were in awe of their music. They couldn't believe how amazing they sounded - playing pieces from Bach to Journey. Even without a rehearsal with us for our ceremony, they played seamlessly. Their musicality and professionalism resounded throughout their time with us at our wedding. Just incredible!!!

TSQ was willing to learn string versions of the modern songs I wanted for the ceremony. For a very reasonable price, they learned the songs and did a wonderful job playing them. We got lots of compliments. They were also great to work with throughout the planning process -- very responsive and always pleasant. If you are looking for something affordable and customizable, you will get exactly that with TSQ.

Theses guys are great. After we contacted them and told them what they were looking for, they really tried to find the perfect person for our requests and for our budget. We didn't go for too much traditional music and they were so accommodating and able to come up with beautiful versions of modern songs.
