The Missing Piece
Tri-County Rentals were an absolute pleasure to work with. To start, I love that they had their prices listed on their website, and they were quick to respond and help with anything I needed on the various times I sent them questions or requests. Delivery was prompt, and in the window they set up for us. They had a couple small things missing on the day of, but came back the morning of the wedding and everything was perfect by the time that my reception began. We rented a 30x45 foot tent, tables, chairs, glasses (wine, pint, champagne), and garbage bins from them. Everything was in great shape and worked perfectly for my event. -

Our Wedding Planner, Crystal Williams, rented chiavari chairs from Tri-County and also the majestic linens. The chairs were beautiful and the table linens all added that special touch to our celebration. They were also willing to come after hours to do an 11:00 p.m. pickup. I can't tell you how much I appreciate their help with making my daughter and son-in-law's wedding the perfect wedding! Thank you. -

TriCounty Rentals played such a huge role at our wedding! We rented multiple items from them (tent, linens, lights, amber glassware and gold flatware)! They were great about delivering and setting everything up. Everything looked so beautiful on the day of our wedding and it was exactly what we had dreamed of. We used Tri-County Rentals to rent our tables, chairs, and tent for our wedding. They were great to work with! They came the day before and set up the tent quickly, and we set up all of the chairs and tables how we wanted them. The guys were great to talk to, and very receptive as to how I wanted things arranged! They made sure to ask where we wanted the dance floor and where to leave the chairs and tables. They came with plenty of extra help and had everything set up working a couple hours! -

Tri-County provided the tent and rentals for my wedding last weekend and they were phenomenal. Not only are their prices very reasonable but they even got my venue to allow them to trim a tree to fit the tent I wanted. I would recommend them to anyone needing rentals in the Upstate. -

Tri County set up the tables, chairs, tents, lighting, dance floor, and some of the linens for our wedding and reception. They were fantastic to work with, and really listened to our ideas about how we wanted the space to look. They were able to adjust the design based on our budget and wants. Everything looked better than expected once set up! Our guests commented on the great layout we had. Jason was always available by email to answer my questions and help fine tune my "vision". Couldn't ask for a better party rental company! -

Amanda and Jason at Tri-County Rental were AMAZING! Amanda worked so hard to help us determine the items we would need for my wedding, and to design a layout that would work perfectly at the wedding and reception site. She was always quick to respond to requests, making updates as our numbers changed, and making sure that everything was just how we wanted it. Tri-County Rentals came through for us at the last minute when the weather forecast changed a couple days before the wedding and we needed to request additional tents. It ended up pouring rain and we needed every tent we had...it would have been miserable for our guests without them! In addition, they were professional, personable, and responsive...I wouldn't rent from anywhere else in the upstate, and would rent from Tri-County time and time again! -

I cannot say enough good things about this company! I was apprehensive at first because they seemed a little "small town" but they were AWESOME! Amanda is so helpful and did an awesome job.
I REALLY wanted strung lighting but they had not done this before. Amanda worked with me until we figured out a great way to do it. It looked beautiful!
When we did a site walk-through they were so prepared! I can't remember the guy's name, but he was just as great as Amanda. He had a measuring tool and it was so easy to plan the layout.
They are like half the price (some things are a third of the price) of the same things here in Houston, so I thought they were a great value!
Absolutely recommend them!!!!! -

Tri-county was amazing to work with. I always worry about preferred vendors having less to lose, but it was certainly not the case with this one! We used them for our wedding at Woodburn plantation, and everything was exactly as ordered. Jason was very helpful in making the adjustments we requested from our initial order up until a few days before the wedding, and everything was perfect! I would definitely recommend them to a friend. -

We rented chairs for the ceremony from them. Only one problem occurred. They misunderstood that we needed them to set up the chairs on the day of the wedding and almost were going to just drop off the chairs in stacks. Luckily the owner of the Wilhite House caught this and corrected it. -

Incomplete equipment and no refunds
I needed to rent an electric hotbox in order to heat the food for my daughter's wedding since I decided to cater it myself with a couple of friends. At first, everything seemed to be going well with my rental experience with Tri-County Rental Center. The scheduling went well. The pricing was a little steep for an electric hotbox rental but I didn't really have many other options in order to heat the food on the day of the event. The delivery was on time and the equipment was in good shape.
Now to paint the picture a little more thoroughly, I asked specifically if this hotbox was the correct size for full size hotel pans for Chaffer dishes. I was told it was so I proceeded with the order. Now, on the day of, after all of the food was prepared and it's now go time, I arrive at the venue to unload all of the prepared food and start the warming process only to find the hotbox was too wide to accommodate the Chaffer dish pans, instead it was for full size sheet pans. There were also no shelves inside so I really had no way of getting this thing to work. We ended up taking everything back to the house to heat it in my oven and get it back to the venue for service. This situation nearly ruined the wedding as we were almost at risk of serving cold food. This is unacceptable! I had well over $1000 in food prepared for this and roughly 70 labor hours to prepare it all.
I then contacted Tri-County Rental Center on the next business day and told them about the issue and basically was told too bad. So I basically ended up eating $434 for a useless hotbox.
To top it off when I called them about this and mentioned the shelves I was told that they used to send the shelves with it and she don't know why they stopped sending them but they would start sending them from now on. So how does that help me?
No compensation for a bad experience even though they knew that the shelves should've come with it.
The "star" ratings don't really give options for this type of review. I would've given them a "0" star if "satisfaction" was an option.
Thoroughly disappointed with my rental. Will not be using them again. I feel genuinely ripped off and then slapped in the face when I told them about it. They did offer a military discount because I'm a veteran but they still decided to rip off the same veteran so I guess they win. -
