The best day ever!

My husband, Kain, and I got married just a few weekends ago, on March 14, 2026. Our experience at Tresca on 8th was nothing short of phenomenal. From the very beginning of the planning process through the wedding day itself, everything was handled with such professionalism, care, and attention to detail.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect setting for our day. Our guests are still talking about how stunning everything was and how smoothly the entire day flowed. It truly made our wedding feel so special.

What stood out most to us was how supportive and organized Robin and her team were throughout the process. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made everything feel manageable and were always willing to answer questions and help however they could. On the wedding day, everything was set up exactly as we had envisioned, which allowed us to relax and really enjoy the moment with our family and friends.

We are so grateful to have celebrated such an important day here and would absolutely recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful space and a team that genuinely cares about making your day memorable. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so perfect!

Highly Recommend Tresca on 8th!!!

From start to finish, our experience at Tresca on 8th was absolutely amazing. The team—Bethany, Robin, and Roxie—truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day stress-free and unforgettable. They took care of everything, from the smallest details to the bigger picture, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Their professionalism and attention to detail were unmatched.

Throughout the entire process, Bethany, Robin, and Roxie were not only supportive but also genuinely kind and calming, making me feel completely at ease. They helped bring our vision to life in ways we hadn’t even imagined—everything looked even more beautiful than we dreamed.

I couldn’t have asked for better people to be by our side on such an important day. They were a huge part of what made our wedding so special, and I will always be grateful for their hard work, dedication, and warmth. Incredible Wedding Venue!!!

I booked Tresca for my wedding in Oct 2021 and it was PERFECT!! The space is gorgeous and Robin (the director) is wonderful to work with. She and her staff ensured my big day was flawless – they have everything you need to create a beautiful, meaningful event! My guests had a wonderful time, and because Robin and her team are so on top of everything, I was able to relax and have the best day of my life. Tresca is an exceptional event space!! You won’t regret booking it!

They made our day absolutely perfect

When I decided on a winter wedding many venues turned me away because they just weren't able to accommodate both an indoor ceremony and reception. Living in the area I had heard of Tresca before but had never been to an event there. In a search for venues, their name popped up. Robin responded to my request almost immediately, we setup a time to tour, we walked in and knew right away we wanted to get married there. We signed a contact that night and I canceled all my future appointments to look at venues. Robin is detailed, concise, an amazing communicator and organized to a T. Our day was seamless, flawless and absolutely beautiful. The venue is amazing without any decorations, and makes the most amazing backdrop for pictures! Everything I had ever dreamed of in my wedding came true that day in February.

Best Experience at Tresca!

My husband and I had the absolute best experience at Tresca. The venue is beautiful and you can make it what you want and add your own personal touch on the decor, which is fun. One of the big reasons we had such a great experience at Tresca, though, was because of the staff and service. Robin helped us with our planning and was super helpful throughout the whole process, providing invaluable tips and advice for everything including all the little details, and she and her staff were especially helpful the day of the wedding keeping everything running smoothly and according to schedule. We could not have done it without them and are so thankful for their help through the whole process! We have the best memories of our wedding day and we know a lot of that is due to all the behind the scenes work from all the Tresca ladies!

We cannot say enough great things about Tara and her staff. Not only are they an event venue, but they are emotional therapists! Tara talked me down from panic and reassured my planning efforts when I needed it most. She was amazing. She made sure that our day was exactly as we imagined it would be and more. My guests were absolutely wowed by the beautiful venue and the seamless way everything flowed.

If you're looking for the perfect place for your wedding day, a place that's beautiful and a staff that lives to make sure your day is magical... Choose Tresca on 8th. It's worth every penny. Thank you, Tara!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make my event run smoothly. We had a popcorn machine to serve popcorn at our event, but I forgot to bring the salt. The staff went out and brought us some salt! The clean up was simple and easy. I appreciated having the staff on-call at the site throughout the entire event.

You will not find a better event coordinator than Tara. She is incredibly professional, sweet, quick to respond, and genuinely cares about you as a person. You are not just a "customer" to Tara and her team. They handle every detail with authentic concern, and bend over backwards to make your day as special as possible. Beyond that, the venue is both breath-takingly beautiful and convenient. There was plenty of room for all of my bridesmaids and all of my husband's groomsmen to get ready upstairs (we both had 10 attendants a piece, and didn't feel cramped at all), and downstairs seated all 240 of our guests comfortably, with space for a dance floor that accommodated everyone.

I can't speak more highly of the Tresca team. In spite of a rainy day that changed our original outdoor ceremony plans, our Plan B to have the entire day (both ceremony and reception) at Tresca could not have turned out more perfectly. My husband and I are so happy to have had our wedding at such a special place, and we would recommend it to anyone.

The Tresca on 8th provided exceptional quality service for our wedding reception. They were attentive to all of our needs and wants. I could have not imagined our day without Tara and Robin; because of them our tentative timeline went as planned and very smoothly. The venue is beautiful, clean and the architecture is breathtaking. Oh and did I mention the view on the second floor of the river! I highly recommend their venue and services!! My husband and I both will forever be grateful!!

We have been using Tresca for many of our corporate events for several years now and they have always been so flexible and easy to work with! They can be as simple as an event venue to as much as handling rentals (and returns) and orchestrating your other vendors as well.
We love using them and working with them! They make the entire process so much easier!

Tara and Robin were truly amazing to work with! Very professional and very responsive to any and all requests/emails. They gave me exactly what I had always envisioned for my wedding and beyond. I had always wanted my wedding reception to be at Tresca because of the gorgeous venue and atmosphere that it presented, both inside and outside. The grand staircase in the back of the venue really gave our reception that "edge" to make things a bit more unique and beautiful. Truly, my husband and I could not have asked for better service or a better venue to have had our wedding reception at.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Not only is it so BEAUTIFUL but the key to making this place so special is the incredible staff. Tara was so wonderful to work with. I cannot tell you how many emails I sent her and I always got a quick response and she never made me feel bad for all the questions! She is great at what she does and offers great advice and recommendations for any other aspects of the day that you are trying to plan and pull together. For the day of our wedding, Robin was the lead coordinator. To say Robin ran the day seamlessly would be a huge understatement. Our day was PERFECT! Not only did she work non stop the entire day to make sure that every single detail was perfect but she truly made me feel like I was the most important bride she has ever worked with. She is soo passionate about what she does and it shows by how she goes above and beyond to make your day truly the most special day of your life. My only hope is that we can find an excuse to have another event at this incredible place in the future so I get to work with these awesome ladies again! This venue is the best of the best! You will not have a single regret! Thank you all for making our day so perfect!!

Couldn't have had a more perfect wedding reception at Tresca on 8th! Tara and her staff were so incredibly amazing from start to finish!! Tara at Tresca on 8th is so fun and easy to work with. She guided us in all the right directions with making sure our Mom's Surprise 50th Birhday Bash was a hit! She met with my sisters and I to ensure that the evening went off without a hitch. She helped us make decisions on decor and helped us find other vendors to help with the evening. My husband and I were planning on only renewing our vows and just a small reception considering that we tied the knot in Vegas. But once we saw Tresca there was no way we were going to be simple! The place alone is amazing and the staff from beginning to end played a major party in my happiness that day. I would recommend anyone who wants that fairytale wedding to seek Tresca first!

This is an unsolicited review I personally requested to do. I cannot say enough good things about Tara and her staff at Tresca in Lynchburg. They were so professional in their dealings initially and throughout the entire process for the wedding reception. Everything Tara promised was delivered and then some. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a stress free experience for a wedding reception to utilize Tresca.
Everything went PERFECTLY on the day & evening of the reception. They coordinated all of the key vendors, who preformed their duties above expectations.
Tara was easy to speak with and very understanding for our needs, great lady to work with. I had so many people attending compliment me on the excellence of this venue and their great experience. Quite a few said it was the most fun best organized wedding reception they had ever attended. Their customer service was fantastic!

Tresca on 8th was the most perfect place to have my wedding reception. I could not have asked for a better place to have had it. The ladies that work there made sure that we did not have to lift a finger the day of the wedding. They made sure the venue was decorated how I wanted and coordinated our night to the smallest details. I absolutely recommend this amazing venue!

Tara and the other Tresca staff members were so vital in seamlessly carrying out our perfect wedding day! If anything went wrong, it was so quickly handled by Tresca staff that we didn't even notice! Tara, Robin and Sydney of Tresca on 8th were more than helpful in the planning and execution of my wedding day. They were all very informative, knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to help with whatever they could. Tara made the planning process SO easy and she had a ton of excellent suggestions. I used Tresca as my reception venue and could not have been more pleased. The ladies at Tresca made everything SO easy. They were always extremely prompt in their correspondence and extremely organized. I left each meeting feeling confident about the venue I had chosen. The day of the wedding was perfect. I never stressed for a minute because Tresca took care of everything. Guests even commented after the wedding about the smoothness of the reception and professionalism of Tresca's coordinators.

Tresca on 8th is absolutely gorgeous and we could not have chosen a better place in Lynchburg to have our wedding reception. Tara is beyond incredible. We truly can't say enough good things about her. She is so professional, yet very personal. She made us feel so relaxed and like everything was about us. She directed everything on our wedding day and made sure everything went smoothly. I don't know what we would've done without her!
We received so many compliments on Tresca and we cannot imagine hosting our reception anywhere else. It was everything we wanted and it made our wedding day absolutely perfect. Thank you SO much to Tara and the staff at Tresca, you are wonderful and we are very thankful for you and your hard work!

I cannot say enough good things about the people I worked with at Tresca! Tara provided me with guidance in selecting all of my vendors and without this, I would have been overwhelmed with the selection process. Whenever I had a question, she was there for me as a sounding board. The day of my wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Tara and Lindsay! Lindsay came over to the church to help me into my dress and stayed until I was headed down the isle. Their was not a moment throughout the entire day where I felt any stress at all. Everything went so smoothly! If you are looking for a team to help make your day perfect, you can stop looking and choose Tresca on 8th! You will not be disappointed!

I immediately fell in love with the venue and was very pleased to learn about the additional coordination services that are included with the rental of the venue. I planned my wedding from out of state so the staff was very flexible with scheduling meeting times and promptly responding to email messages. They took care of coordinating the vendors the day of the wedding which allowed to to completely focus on enjoying the day!

Tresca was not only a beautiful venue for my wedding, but a breath of fresh air during wedding planning! They are the best in Lynchburg! I even got my dress, bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos at Celebration, which Leecy also owns. They make everything so easy for you when you are planning your big day. They take the stress out of everything and even recommend great vendors. They make sure everything runs smoothly the day of the wedding so you don't have to think twice about it so you can just enjoy it. They go over and beyond and that's their standard. Everyone at Tresca was very helpful! They made sure that we had everything that we needed to make our special day perfect and it truly was perfect. Tresca on 8th is a beautiful venue. The antique looking ball gown and impressive staircase are beyond breath taking. Not only is the venue beautiful but the staff are exceptional. I was so pleased with the service we received for my wedding. Everyone at Tresca was so encouraging and helpful through the entire process. They offered so many things for me to use at no extra cost, and I was so thankful for their help. The only time I felt slightly disappointed was with the attitude of the coordinator on the day of my wedding. She seemed slightly annoyed with the day. There had been a slight misunderstanding in the beginning of the day where I had been under the impression that they would be providing lights for me to use on the staircase because I had been told I could use them. However, on the morning of the wedding, I was told they never had lights for me to use (even though I had seen them months prior). This did not upset me, and Castle Event Lighting even ran to get some for me and put them on for free!! This was the only thing that I was disappointed with. It was such a small part of the day, that it does not even affect my opinion of Tresca. They are a wonderful place to have any event, and I already have, and will continue to recommend them to every bride I come into contact with!!

I would recommend this venue to any one who wants everything already in place...They were flexible with time, and we had several choices included in the package..So if one person didn't work out there was someone else to choose from..They kept in touch frequently up until the day of the wedding...I think most of all the staff never appeared rushed nor did I ever feel pressured to make choices. Most of all everything was included in the cost of the wedding. The only thing we had to do on the day of the wedding was show up, no work to do afterwards...I highly recommend Tresca on 8th!

The staff at Tresca was incredible to work with. They were very gracious in allowing us to use their equipment and supplies, and they were just so very friendly and welcoming. They really seem to understand hospitality. The space there is beautiful, but does require a relatively small crowd. It gets pretty loud in there with lots of activity, so conversation is a bit challenging. But as long as the actual space works for an event, it is the best place to work with staff wise!

What a wonderful place to get married! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the staff is exceptional, professional, flexible, and accommodating. Tara helped guide me through the whole planning process, the rehearsal, and the wedding day. She was able to help decrease my stress level immensely. It was great to have staff that I knew I could trust 100%.

As far as the venue itself, I cannot say enough about its beauty, though if you walk in Tresca or look at photographs it will speak for itself.

If I were to nitpick, the only unsatisfactory thing was the cleanliness of the venue. There were several events the week before our wedding and I don't believe the venue was cleaned thoroughly after those events. My family cleaned the bathrooms and refilled soap containers the day of the wedding in order to be ready for our guests. The floors did not appear to be dirty, but the bottom of my wedding dress and my feet were black at the end of the night. But in essence these things are secondary to the exceptional location and customer service.

Overall, Tresca on 8th is a WONDERFUL venue and totally speaks for itself and I would (and will!) recommend it to others getting married or having events. I believe the best thing about getting married there is the exceptional costumer service and teamwork. With both Celebration and Tresca, I could call/email a question or concern and receive feedback in a timely manner. They made all my wedding "gitters" go away and helped to eliminate my stress levels. Tara, Leecy, Jessica (and many others behind the scenes) are exceptional people, with exceptional talents and I am so happy I was able to be married there.

The staff at Tresca were very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. All I had to do was give them an itinerary with the times and order that I wanted the reception events to run in, and they made it all happen without a hitch and gave me piece of mind to know that they had done many events before. They also gave great suggestions regarding how things worked best in the past regarding flow of events and setup.

I was thoroughly pleased with the venue and the service provided. Tara was everything I could have hoped for in a wedding planner both prior to the wedding and during the event. I was so impressed by Tara's ability to provide structure throughout the ceremony and reception, while still allowing me flexibility to make changes as I wanted. My wedding was perfect. My husband and I picked Tresca on 8th in downtown Lynchburg for our wedding ceremony and reception venue, and we couldn't have been happier with them!! From their beautiful location and historic charm, to their gorgeous decor offerings, their spacious ballroom and upstairs cocktail area, to their accommodating attitudes and their eagerness to please -- this was the perfect choice for us. We loved their amazing team of coordinators who walk you through every step of the planning process and are there to make sure your big day goes perfectly, and felt so very taken care of! Tara Coffer and Robin Mays made us feel right at home, and helped craft our special day for us so perfectly. These gals definitely know what they're doing, and will not steer you wrong! I couldn't have been more pleased with my Tresca experience; they really are the best of the best!

Tresca was my dream wedding reception venue. It was everything I ever wanted it to be and more.
I loved the dressing room upstairs that allowed us to get ready there all day which also allowed me to see the last details fall into place before the wedding where I wouldn't be as aware of them all! :)
The only thing that I wish I had known was all of the items that I had access to with renting Tresca such as, I found out 5 days before the wedding that they had table runners for all our tables we could use, cupcake stands, clear vases for our Almond bar to use and tons of lanterns. This did not take away from our experience AT ALL but I think that these things should be included in the contract for future wedding contracts.

Vendors:
Lynchburg Snapshot Studio Photobooth: They were incredible!!!! Our images came back 6 days after our wedding in an amazing black and white quality. It was great and a perfect way to see all our guests! A week before the wedding, I also asked them if they had a sign to put on the bottom floor of tresca on the 8th to tell guests they were upstairs and they said no, but they would make them for no extra charge. My guests wouldn't stop talking about how much fun they had with it -- I would recommend this to anyone!

The Mango Pack Photography: Kevin and Colin of the Mango Pack, are fantastic. They are the most talented wedding photographers I've ever seen. On top of that, they are the so much fun and know how to make you feel comfortable so your pictures come out natural. They are also great at getting your images back to you in a reasonable time frame which is great too since everyone wants their photos back quickly ;) They are also more like creatives than photographers, they are always trying new things and new gear. I would recommend them to anyone!!! SO much fun and extremely talented!!!
