User2020933 Sent on 01/23/2015Samantha is the most fun photographer I've ever worked with. She instantly gets you to relax and makes it all feel so natural. We got sneak peeks on your facebook page and then a CD of all of our pictures and could print as many as we liked. -

BEWARE! Do not book this photographer.
A complete disaster and upset to my husband and me. We hired Samantha of Treasured Memories, back in September of 2018 for our March 2019 wedding. With this package, we received 6 hours of wedding photography with a second photographer included and a free engagement session, which was part of a promotion she was running. Our engagement photos came out lovely and we were truly happy with the quality of work. Samantha was paid in full for the wedding back in November of 2018. Leading up to the wedding, we discussed several photos that I wanted taken and she was given a gallery of those photos. We also discussed that I wanted to be completely hands off on the day of the wedding, due to wanting to enjoy every moment. She agreed and the wedding day came. When the second photographer she hired arrived to take pictures of the groomsmen, my brother and asked where I had found this photographer. He explained that she didn’t know what she was doing and that he and the other groomsmen had to direct the photo shoot. I mentioned this to Samantha and I believe she called and spoke with the second photographer, but when I received the photos back, NONE of the photos I wanted of the groomsmen were included. I was livid! Back at the venue with me (bride) and the bridesmaids, things were running behind schedule so I understood that we wouldn’t get some of the before wedding photos that I had wanted, and I was okay with that, but Samantha spent a lot of time during those hours she was being paid for sitting in the room with me, talking to myself and my mother. I remember asking her once to go into the bridesmaids’ dressing room and snapping some photos. After the ceremony, it was very cold so the cocktail hour was moved inside and was a tad bit chaotic while we were taking photos, but that was no excuse for how unprofessional things went. Samantha was getting very frustrated and began to snap at some of the wedding party. I quickly took over and began to direct people (which was the only shot I liked from our gallery, because of course it was what I wanted). At one point, she was just snapping pictures and my husband asked me to say something to her. I walked over and asked why she wasn’t having us take the poses that I had sent and requested. She said she left her phone in the dressing rooms and the doors were locked. I vividly remember her saying it, but when I later mentioned that to her, she said it never happened, so that makes me wonder, “well, why didn’t you take the photos I sent you, if you had your phone and the images requested the entire time?” After about 90 minutes of complete confusion and chaos, and simply little to no direction from her or the second photographer, I was done. It was 9:30, the reception hadn’t started and my guests hadn’t eaten. I told Samantha I wanted to end the photos because I was frustrated and I knew she was not capturing what I wanted to be captured. She did ask if I wanted to continue, but I told her no. We had 90 minutes left before the reception ended and I wanted to enjoy my wedding and guests, which should have been understandable to her. Two days after the wedding, I called Samantha and expressed that I was displeased with how things went and that we didn’t get the photos I wanted. I was very upset. She offered a ridiculous solution of having us recreate the wedding another time and shooting again. How?!!!! You don’t get to recreate or relive that day. She also explained that she got some great photos and tried to assure me that I would be happy with the gallery. Well, four weeks came and went and I received the gallery of images. My husband and I were livid. Out of 600 images, the camera quality was awful, there were maybe 40 pictures of us and there were several random pictures of babies and people staring at their phones or looking down- NONE OF THE IMAGES I REQUESTED. NONE! When I reached out to Samantha, her reasoning was that she came on time, stayed until the end of the time allotted and took as many pictures as she could. Never really listening to me or my concerns. I asked did she feel that she needed to give back some compensation for the contract being fully fulfilled- she said no. I also asked could she go back and allow us to look at the gallery of unedited images and choose which ones we would like to have edited- she said no. She chose them and she wasn’t going to spend any more time or energy on this wedding. I explained that this was the biggest day of my life and I couldn’t understand how she could know I was unhappy but be unwilling to help correct it. I believe it was a pride thing, but nonetheless, the only option she gave the entire time was to go back and recreate the day. I don’t see how. Many of the images were too dark or too light and the quality of the editing looked awful. Some of the phone photos we received from guests looked way better. She edited a couple of those images but not all. I am so upset with this entire wedding photography fiasco and I want to spare anyone else the heartache and anger. Samantha just kept saying she was there the entire time she was supposed to be, she arrived on time, she got a lot of pictures (remember, none we discussed) and she fulfilled the duties of her contract. Not once did she ask how she could make this right for us. Do not book with this photographer. She is all about timelines and not what the customer wants.
In the photos, some are the images she was sent of what we wanted. The second ones are of our wedding. Not the same idea at all! -

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use Treasured Memories for your wedding photographer. I put my trust in Samantha on my big day, and did not get what I paid for. I picked her biggest package, a full day of coverage, with an edited gallery and a USB of the full day of raw photos. The main reason I chose this photographer is because I get all my photos of the whole day, not just the edits. Well, after repeatedly asking her for the photos, and her kept saying she was going to send them and never did, I finally got the edited gallery over two months later. I then told her according to the contract I am supposed to get an USB with all of my photos. She told me that she forgot and will mail it to me right away. Well two weeks later I asked her again because I never received it and she never relied, I messaged her 6 times after this and she GHOSTED me. I never received my photos. PLEASE PLEASE BRIDES do not make the same mistake that I did!! Besides this... the list goes on about unprofessionalism. Please brides, save yourself the stress! -

It saddens me that I have to write this review because of the trust the I initially felt with Sam. We had a great time and result during out engagement session. But that was not the same feeling that we had on our wedding day. Prior to the wedding day, my coordinator and I had created a vision board on Pinterest (per Sam's request) of the photos that I would like to achieve. My coordinator and I felt that we were set. When Sam and her assistant arrived, the attire was not professional at all. I had to let that go because it was a minor detail. As the day went on my coordinator was getting pulled away by the assistant and Sam asking what to photograph next. After our ceremony, while we were taking family photographs, Sam did not have control of anything. This resulted in requesting my videographer to take photos to insure that I received quality photos. Sam had more than enough time to get all of my family photos completed, yet I do not have a photo of my mother and I. The rest of the evening spiraled. My coordinator and I designed a timeline to help the day run smoothly, these timelines were shared with every vendor. Once a special moment needed to be photographed, we were all looking around to find Sam or her assistant... they were no where to be found. I could go on and on. Please do not make the same mistake that I did. My husband and I trusted Sam to capture the most important day of our lives and it is THE BIGGEST regret that I have! Thankfully my videographer was PHENOMENAL and sent me over 80 edited photos within 48hrs.
I would also like everyone to know that when I expressed my feelings to her she blamed my spray tan and also said she would re edit my photos but INSTEAD REMOVED MY WHOLE WEDDING ALBUM! She posted unprofessional posts on Facebook about my videographer.
I pray that you don’t book with her. She lied about mailing out a USB. I sent her proof that she had lied and her excuse was she has forgot about it. FORGOT ABOUT SOMETHING THAT WAS IN HER CONTRACT! I have ZERO pictures from her that I love. I have ZERO pictures of myself, husband and our 2 kids together. I’m HURT. BUT I DO HAVE PICTURES OF HER AND HER ASSISTANT IN MY PHOTOBOOTH WITH HORSE HEADS ON!!!!
