Traveling beauty-amazing!!
Michelle and her team did an amazing job for me and my bridal parties hair and make up! It literally started raining during my ceremony and my hair and make up were not affected at all. Incredible. I don’t know the first thing about hair and make up, but knew I wanted an updo and my make up to look ‘natural.’ I’m sure this is something they hear constantly, but the fact that they brought my vision to life on my wedding day was something I’m forever grateful for. Her team was professional, punctual, unbelievably kind, and really patient. Of all my vendors I can honestly say Michelle was the best at communicating. She was the quickest to respond and while planning a wedding and working full-time these are the things that do not go unnoticed and are so appreciated. Lastly, she is very fairly priced, and for her and her teams outstanding work they are more than worth it! -

Michelle was phenomenal. We went with Traveling Beauty since 4 of our vendors said they were always on time and their preferred vendor for hair and makeup. We were able to do a trial of my bridal hair and makeup. Michelle, Lauren and Jessie came to our home on the day to makeup and hair for 8 people. They were on time to the house and ended up being ahead of schedule. They made everyone feel at ease. They were able to elevate everyone from their everyday look without making them not look like themselves. We absolutely loved working with them and cannot recommend them more. -

Michelle and her team are absolute professionals. I had 6 bridesmaids, a maid of honor, and my mother with me in my hotel room for all of us to get our hair and makeup done before heading over to my venue for our vow renewal. She had everything scheduled out super well, and we still ended up an hour ahead of schedule – which was fantastic! She made sure she had enough staff that we could sleep in a bit (didn’t start hair/makeup until 10:15am and we were done by 1:15pm) and everyone was a dream to work with – talented, creative, and funny! We all felt so at ease and even the bridesmaids that rarely wore makeup felt comfortable and welcomed by Michelle and her team.
Having the ability to get our hair and makeup done at the hotel together gave us more time to hang out and was so comfortable and fun! It was great to not have to worry about going back and forth to a salon. However, the best part of Traveling Beauty is of course their talent. My makeup and hair looked stunning and lasted the entire night of sweaty dancing – the same with all the bridesmaids! Michelle found her calling with this company – her talent is unmatched and her attention to detail is immaculate. You will not regret hiring Traveling Beauty. -

I got married in November of 2021 and hired Traveling Beauty for my wedding. Michelle and her assistant, Michele, traveled to our hotel the morning of the wedding and did makeup for myself, my bridesmaids and mother in law, as well as my hair. Michelle was very communicative through the whole process, helping me to set up a trail beforehand as well as make some last-minute scheduling adjustments for the wedding day. Her and her assistant, Michele, were on time, flexible, great to work with and really helped the morning of the wedding stay on track and go more smoothly. They both did great jobs! -

Flexible and Reliable for a re-imagined COVID wedding!
It has taken almost 6 months to write this review but I am so grateful to Michelle everything she did for for my wedding! Initially we had a small wedding planned and found The Traveling Beauty at Lake Pearl Wrentham's bridal expo 2 months after we got engaged. I went for my bridal trial at the beginning of the pandemic, hopeful COVID-19 would not turn as ugly as it did, and my trial was amazing. I like dramatic makeup and Michelle showed me that dramatic make up can still be wedding-esque, and my hair was styled to perfection. She informed me the cost of my trial was put toward my hair and makeup, which was awesome to hear. About 2 months after this trial and with the worsening of the pandemic, we made the difficult decision to cancel our wedding, and initially were going to go to City Hall to get married. I had a talk with Michelle about it, and she was super supportive and even was willing to come to my house to do my makeup before that as well! With some creativity, our venue (https://www.lakepearl.com/) helped us re-imagine our wedding, and thankfully Michelle was still on board! She informed me of all of their updated hygiene practices to keep COVID compliant and assured me she could still help me on my wedding day! She arrived at the venue, full gear in tow and was quick to pour me mimosas as we laughed the morning away with lashes, jewelry and highlighter! While doing my hair, she noticed that I was not totally happy, so she scrapped it and we started all over again, and she kept working until it was perfect. Michelle has this amazing ability to put you completely at ease, and not once did she make me feel that i was being too picky - she really made the day about me and was so incredibly accommodating. Michelle was even kind enough to help me get into my dress (as i did not have any bridesmaids), for which i will always be grateful! At the end of our time together, she gave me the gift of a little makeup bag, lipstick and powder for me to have for touch us throughout the day. It was so special. In spite of a hot July Day, my hair and makeup stayed in place and the pictures reflected that! After the wedding, Michelle sent me such a thoughtful card, and it was addressed to me with my husband's last name. It was the first time i saw my name like that in writing and it meant so much! Michelle made an appearance in our wedding video too which was unforgettable. I would not hesitate to recommend The Travelling Beauty and Michelle for anyone's hair and make up needs on their special day. I am so happy we chose The Traveling Beauty and will look to Michelle for any future MUA needs! -

Planning a wedding can be stressful, including who you will use for vendors. After talking to a few people and doing some research we found Traveling Beauty. Setting an appointment up from out of state can be nerve wracking but Michelle made the process SUPER easy! She was polite, easy going, and professional and we couldn't have asked for a better team!!! For the makeup and hair trial we had a short window where we would be in MA (we live in VA) and asked a couple weeks in advance if they would be available and they were. Meeting the team: we all met and discussed what kind of hair/makeup I was thinking about having and away we went. They even took my hair down (I had an updo) so my husband wouldn't see my hair style selected! This is definitely a plus!!!! Day of: the team arrived and started getting everyone ready for hair and makeup services. They made the process super easy and got all the girls and I done on time and even fit my mother in law in for her makeup! There were tons of laughs and was just such a good process from start to finish. If you're still deciding who to pick, look no further. You WILL NOT be disappointed if you go with Michelle and her team at Traveling Beauty!!! The girls and I couldn't say enough great things about this team! -

Michelle was accommodating with both the hair trial and wedding day hair. She took the time and put in the effort to try different styles to make it meet my vision and more. She utilized great products to make my hair look thicker and shinier than I could have imagined. She is pleasant to communicate with, was responsive and efficient through the whole planning process, and early and ready to go on site on my wedding day. This meant a lot to help the day go smoothly. She is talented at what she does and it is evident that she cares about her clients. Would highly recommend her and her team. -

Michelle and her team are awesome. What I liked best was Michelle's warm personality and flexibility. Getting married while caring for my newborn was quite the task. Michelle didn't miss a beat and even held my baby boy while the rest of us were taking some photos.

Michelle and her team are top notch. My 7 bridesmaids and myself all had our hair and makeup done with traveling beauty and everyone was very happy with their looks. I had my trial with Michelle several months before the wedding, and worked with her to finalize a schedule for the day of. Michelle arrived on time with all of the items needed and ready to go (lighting etc). She uses high quality makeup products and my makeup stayed fresh after a teary moment during the ceremony. Michelle also gave me and each bridesmaid a lip gloss so that we could touch up throughout the night. Bryanna did everyone's hair and came up with some beautiful and unique styles on a whim. Would definitely recommend Traveling Beauty to any bride! -

Michelle was great to work with! I had five bridesmaids, two mothers, and three flower girls for her to do hair and makeup for, and she and her team made everyone look beautiful! They were all very personable and made the whole getting ready process more fun and relaxing, especially since they finished earlier than expected so we could just relax before pictures. Michelle did an amazing job with my makeup and somehow made me look both natural and bridal at the same time, and my hair was gorgeous! She even brought a little bridal kit with my name on it holding lip gloss and hairspray for me to take to the venue. Thank you, Traveling Beauty! -

Molly Sent on 01/19/2018I have worked with Michelle as a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding in July 2017 and as the bride in my wedding in September 2017. She was recommended to me by another friend who loved working with her. She is so easy-going, has great suggestions, and helped make me feel comfortable. I don't typically wear a ton of makeup but I definitely wanted to look glamorous on my wedding day. I had a trial with her and it was a breeze! On my wedding day, she came to the hair salon we were at to do the makeup for myself and my four bridesmaids. Two of my bridesmaids were on the fence about false lashes and after seeing how easily Michelle applied them, they were convinced! Everyone looked SO beautiful and most importantly, natural. And I felt great knowing that our makeup was not going to budge, despite the downpours right before my outdoor ceremony. I can't say enough good things! Thank you Michelle for helping me look as beautiful as I felt on my wedding day!

I had waited to the last minute as I was thinking of not using professional make up for my wedding. My cousin recommended Michelle and Traveling Beauty as she had used them for a wedding she was in over the summer. Michelle was very responsive and found time to fit me in for a trial and had my date available. The trial went great, Michelle and Christina really took the time to listen to what I was looking for. Christina worked with me on the day itself and she was fabulous! She did an amazing job on all of us and I loved the way my look came out. She made me feel and look beautiful. I am deeply grateful to Michelle and Christina for their time and assistance, especially since it was on short notice. They were very professional and punctual and the prices are very reasonable. I had to postpone my wedding multiple times due to covid-19 but Michelle and her team were so flexible and accommodating. I had my small covid wedding may 2 2021, and Michelle and her assistant completed hair and makeup for my daughter, my mom and myself. They did an amazing job, paying attention to small details and making sure we were happy with everything. We felt comfortable with her team and I am so happy she was apart of my covid mini money! -
