Traveler’s Joy was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding registry!
We absolutely loved using Traveler’s Joy for our honeymoon fund. Because of our guests’ generosity, we were able to enjoy incredible experiences on our honeymoon in Puerto Rico such as ziplining, hiking, a sunset picnic, Casa Bacardi tour, and snorkeling!
So many of our guests commented on what a great idea it was and how meaningful it felt to contribute to experiences rather than traditional registry items.
The platform was also so easy to use and made everything seamless for both us and our guests. You can use templates they've created or customize your own activities. We did a mix of both! We could not recommend Traveler’s Joy more highly!

Perfect Registry for Honeymoon Contributions Instead of Physical Gifts
Great service to share with family and friends what mattered most to us and highlight what we hoped people would contribute to our honeymoon in lieu of physical gifts! The website made it super easy to set up a page and suggested items to add to the registry based on location selected. There are options to transfer contributions without any fees as well.

Easy way for guests to help with your honeymoon!
We had a great experience using Traveler’s Joy for our wedding registry! It integrated easily into our website, guests found it easy to contribute, and we were able to redeem our funds quickly to our checking account! It also has a lot of options to customize, change pictures and activities, and change dollar amounts and number of items within each activity.

It was wonderful to be able to use this free service to have our guests contribute to a meaningful cash fund that made them feel as if they were giving a gift. We even had gifts come in the day of and a few days after the wedding for those last minute guests!

Great Registry option!

AMAZING Registry - Linked straight to our Wedding Wire Website
Traveler’s Joy was amazing to use! We eloped and had our wedding reception a year later, so we didn’t need all the traditional gifts a new couple might. The site made it so easy to set up a honeymoon registry instead. We printed QR codes for our tables at the reception, and our guests loved how simple it was to contribute. Thanks to their generosity, we were able to cover all our excursions and dining in Curaçao — such a perfect experience! Highly recommend.

Amazing option for your Honeymoon Fund!
We absolutely loved using Traveler's Joy as part of our wedding registry! We loved that we were able to put in specific activities so our friends and family felt like they were actually purchasing something for us to do or see vs. just giving us money for the honeymoon. It was also super helpful that it just comes to you as one cash fund in case you want to use the money for something else if plans change, so you're not locked into the activities you picked.

Great Honeymoon Site!
I chose to go with Traveler's Joy for my wedding for three reasons: 1) We did not want physical gifts. 2) This site also gives people the option to use a card. 3) This site seemed to have the lowest fees
The layout and set up for making my site was pretty self explanatory. There was no template for Switzerland, but I had done so much research for our honeymoon that it was easy for me to fill in what I needed.
You have the option to take out the money whenever, which we did think about to help pay for expenses, but ultimately waited until after the wedding to do so. It was a simple process and I would recommend Traveler's Joy to anyone wanting a honeymoon fund.

Great way to ask for money for a honeymoon. Our guests really enjoyed it and so did we.
There are fee-less options such as Venmo or promise of cash gift, though they charge a small fee for donations passed through their accounts. Note, you can only withdraw from the travelers joy account once per month without fees.
Overall I had a great experience and recommend them.

Joy for honeymooners!
Traveler’s Joy is a delightful honeymoon registry for couples and I’m so glad we used this for our wedding. So many guests expressed how fun and exciting it was to gift things on our registry like surf lessons, sunset sail and special dinners during our trip. It’s a great platform, easy to use and customize, and redeeming the gifts is quite easy. Their communication was clear and timely, very professional and personal at the same time. We had a wonderful honeymoon and using TJ made it extra special! I would strongly recommend using this for your registry or alongside a traditional registry. If you already have a lot of the traditional household items that often go on a registry and don’t need more “stuff,” this is a great way to enjoy a super memorable experience and still include guests in your wedding joy.

Honeymoon of our dreams!
This website was fantastic! We didn't need anything for our home, we just wanted the honeymoon of our dreams. This made it possible. The guests were able to choose what they wanted to put money towards, which made it special for them as well. It was no problem pulling our money out when it was time to take our trip. We pulled the money out and brought it all on vacation. The best part was we could use it anyway we wanted to. So, if one excursion was not available it was okay because we were not tied to going, but we had the money to use for what we wanted. However, the website allows guests to choose if they want...but ultimately we got to do what we needed to with the money. It was a win all the way around! Definitely recommend!

You will not be disappointed! We worked with Susan Reznak throughout our whole wedding planning process. She calmed all of my nerves and was there for us even while we were at the resort. My wedding guests weren’t the easiest to work with and she handle each one with ease. She is a blessing.

Highly recommend!! My husband and I wanted to opt out of the traditional wedding registry, and try to raise funds for our dream honeymoon trip to Greece and Italy. Traveler’s Joy was so easy to use and set up, and it helps guests feel a part of our trip by “building” our itinerary based on what they purchase for our trip. We received so many compliments from our guests about our honeymoon registry, how original and fun of an idea and how user-friendly it is, and we agreed with them all and spread the word about Traveler’s Joy!!

Definitely worth it for experience-based registries
Traveler's Joy is by far the best honeymoon registry in the market. They let you actually use your money the way you want rather than being pigeonholed into redeeming your gifts via specific brands' gift cards. The registry is easy to set up and there's even templates and suggestions for gifts so you aren't starting from scratch. When we started our registry, we didn't know where we wanted to go on our honeymoon so we used a generic vacation template. Once we figured out that we wanted to visit Croatia, it was easy to add in experiences to the registry that were closer related to our chosen location. The website is also easy to use from a gifting standpoint--none of our guests raised any issues with purchasing any of our registry items. Cashing out was also really smooth. We got married on October 5, 2024 but didn't pull any of our gifted funds out until recently and it only took a few business days for the funds to appear in our account. There is a 2.95% service fee deducted from the total amount you receive in gifts, which is pretty standard for honeymoon registries, however it's such a small amount in the grand scheme of things that you barely notice. All in all, I would definitely recommend Traveler's Joy to anyone looking for an experience-based registry over one full of stuff that you probably already have or don't really need.

Such a great idea
What an awesome idea! Travelers Joy was given as a registry option through WeddingWire, and because my husband and I each had some household essentials from living on our own beforehand, this was a great way to give people more gift options than just items for our new place. I actually preferred this because they were helping us "buy" an experience that I probably never would have splurged for otherwise! We went to Italy and Greece, where we were able to go on all sorts of excursions and get one hotel with a private balcony overlooking the water and another hotel with our own private pool :) Would DEFINITELY recommend!

So easy to use
Traveler’s Joy was so easy to use. My husband and I ended up using a honeymoon that was one of their pre planned ones. We were even able to edit to our exact liking. We were able to easily share the website with our family and friends so they could send the money directly to the site. We really appreciated the different options for receiving the money and being able to receive it before the wedding date so we could pay off the honeymoon before we even went.

Great website, easy to use, pretty quick to cash out gifts (3 days holding time), and we could use the cash for anything we wanted as our plans changed from the original items we listed on the registry. Our guests were able to use it easily and choose to give a gift directly through the registry or separately by cash or check to us directly. We didn't want a bunch of stuff, but we wanted to take an epic honeymoon and this registry helped us do that! We also liked supporting a vendor local to us (Durham, NC) and that supports LGBTQ+ couples for our registry.

Best Wedding Decision We Made!
The name says it all - Traveler's Joy allowed us to have the most incredible, joyful trip to kick off our chapter as a married couple. The gifted funds helped us collect memories instead of things we already had, covering the bulk of our magical trip to Ecuador's Amazon Jungle and Andes Highlands! Our guests loved being able to contribute specific activities and experiences we would've have gotten to enjoy otherwise, and we sent them pictures after that made them feel part of our adventure. I truly can't imagine another set-up that would've worked better for us as travel-lovers. Super easy to set up and love that I was able to choose between absorbing service fees (which we did) and passing them on to our guests. Redeeming the funds was super easy and the three day waiting period for fund redemption wasn't an issue. Highly recommend for anyone getting married.

It was super easy to set up our Traveler's Joy registry and connect it to our website. We liked that you could quickly customize your page. They have helpful suggestions based on your honeymoon destination. The only fees involved were credit card fees, which you can choose to pay for, split with your gift giver, or have the gift giver pay for. It was easy to transfer the money to our bank account too.

Traveler's Joy made making our Honeymoon Registry so easy! Not only easy for us, but easy for our friends and family to use. Because we've been together for almost 5 years before getting married, we didn't need a toaster, sheets, towels, or a toaster, we have all of that. Traveler's Joy provided a way for our family and friends to gift us experiences! When we made the registry, it asked where we were honeymooning and gave us the option of picking out what we wanted on the registry or using their instant registry. Easy peasy!! Traveler's Joy was recommended to me by a friend and I will be recommended it to any of my friends getting married too!

Simply a MUST for your registry!!!
This site is super user friendly! My favorite part was how it synced so well with my wedding website registry through The Knot. It was simple to add gifts to our Traveler’s Joy registry and select the quantity/amount per gift. There’s even the option to add the service charge to the person sending you a gift, to take it from your gift amount, or split down the middle. We decided to charge the service fee to the person gifting which didn’t seem to stop them from purchasing considering all of our gifts were taken by the time of the wedding! Many people purchased our gifts on Traveler’s Joy first over typical household items because they felt they were contributing to specific honeymoon experiences, meanwhile it’s all just cash going into your account. They can even submit it anonymously (my aunt did that and then surprised me at the bridal shower), or choose to add on a physical card that looks like a ticket which is mailed to you. We had no issue with the 72-hour hold for each gift before it’s officially in your account balance, and then you manually transfer it to your bank. The total time does take about a week to get the money in your account but it’s fine to be patient. I highly recommend using this for your registry because let’s be honest, money is tight for all of us right now and who doesn’t want gift $$$ in their accounts?!

We had most of the things we need and loved being able to create a Honeymoon registry! Loved that there were samples so we could figure out what to write since my first draft was super awkward. Awesome alternative to traditional wedding registries
We used this website rather than setting up a traditional bridal registry because we're established and have a home full of all the essentials and didn't need to register for any gifts. We wanted to give our families an opportunity to bless us with gifts, if they so chose, and this was the perfect solution. The money was promptly delivered to our bank account and we were able to establish thresholds that were comfortable to all budgets.

The Best Honeymoon Fund Site!!!
Traveler's Joy was an incredible option for a honeymoon fund! It's a great way for relatives to put something tangible to the money they are giving you (by selecting "buying you a beer" "buying a night at a castle" etc) but the best part is you just get the money at the end! Even better was the absolute minimal fee Traveler's Joy takes, the lowest I could find out of any honeymoon registry! Plus, even our not-so-tech-savvy relatives were able to use it. I am so glad we went with Traveler's Joy!

A friend of mine utilize this website and spoke on how easy and convenient it was. The website made it easy for us to set up and research our honeymoon. Our family was able to pay for a specific item in our trip or just send money for us to use as we saw fit. The cash withdrawal was easy and fast. Guest We’re also able to add Notes to their gift to us. And they also mailed out a little card telling you that they had sent a gift on the website and an email. Just what we needed!
We loved using Travelers joy because it allowed us to breakdown specific activities we wanted to do on our honeymoon. Family/friends could contribute as much as they wanted and they seemed to feel better knowing they were contributing to activities we were actually planning to do (rather than a large honeymoon fund). Highly recommend this if you don’t need a lot of traditional/household registry items! We’re barely have room in our house as it is, so it was nice having this as an alternative:)

This is an amazing way to help couples take the honeymoon of their dreams! Travelers joy can help you create a honeymoon beyond what you thought. There’s options to make it a personalized trip or pick a general theme with a pre-made list. They have a two year guarantee for funds or a cash out option, which with covid that was important to us because we just didn’t know what travel would look like. Very easy to use for guest young & old although, some of the grandparents we had to explain what it was and how it worked.

So easy and great for any registry!
My husband and I are lucky enough to have most of the goods and home items we needed already, and travel is our favorite thing. But we didn’t want to just ask people for cash for our honeymoon. This site is super simple to use and customize for whatever trip you’re planning. You can add in your own excursions and pricing based on what you would like to do. There is a section for guests to give a general cash gift if they can’t pick an excursion. However, all of the money goes straight to your account to use as you wish so no matter what’s on the registry, you can use the case for whatever you want. It was a great way to get our guests engaged and different from the traditional household gift selections. It was amazing because we had a 9 day honeymoon and needed lots to do, and we did everything. We had enough to book all of our excursions and had cash left over to tip while on vacation and had money left when we came back to put in our savings! I highly recommend this registry

So easy to set up and edit, very user-friendly interface! I loved all the customization options - even the photo icons that go with each item. Had to edit a lot of things after our honeymoon changed due to COVID and it was so simple. We got a great response from our guests and it was nice to have an easy-to-print list (with addresses!) for all our thank-yous as well! The fees are quite reasonable and our funds were deposited quickly. Would recommend over typical store registries any day!

The BEST Registry for Couples that already have it all
We already have the house and the gadgets. What we didn't have was the honeymoon. This was the perfect registry for us. Obviously COVID has put a damper on when we will actually get to go, but it helped us see what stuff we would want to do and have for our honeymoon to ask for it.

Perfect for us!
With my now husband and I already living together we did not need gift gift items and this registry was the perfect way for us to customize a honeymoon trip gift list. We didnt want to just ask people for money but this was the best way to hint that helping us with our honeymoon was what we really wanted. We were able to set gift monetary limits as low as 10 bucks and there was even an option for any amount so it let people give with what they were able to and not feel like they had to spend a ton of money if not able to. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! I know reading reviews is time consuming and all of us brides do it questioning if they are even real but this real bride can tell you that she was able to shake hands with the Pope and gain a blessing for our marriage thanks to using this service!

Honeymoon Fund Timesaver
We knew we didn’t want a traditional registry. I had been researching sites for a while when Traveler’s Joy caught my eye. First of all, the site is visually pleasing and the one-step registration super easy (I had actually signed up several months before the wedding but had been putting it off). But, once I had the itinerary from my travel agent, it was quick and easy to set up our theme, story, trip info, guest message (includes a sample which I edited but used the majority of), fast photo upload, and add items to the registry. I loved the user friendly layout of adding sections to separate items and the ease of changing quantity and price of each item. They even include instant registries by locations with sample lists, they didn’t have Morocco, but I found similar ones to gather inspiration. The “Your Gifts” tab made it easy to track our gifts with dates and amounts. One thing I forgot to set up/change was the account settings for gift types and fees where the couple can pay the fees, split the service fee with guests, or have guests cover all fees. We chose the guests to cover fees (no complaints from guests). Redeeming gifts was so easy, all delivery methods are free and that was one of the best reasons to choose Traveler’s Joy. We used the electronic check method and has fund within 3-4 days. Our guests were so excited to contribute to the desert luxury camp experience, sand boarding in the Sahara, and cooking class! These unique gifts were detailed in the trip information and they truly felt part of the experience. Overall, Traveler’s Joy was the best choice for our honeymoon fund, our guests commented on how great it was to go paperless and know that they are contributing to experiences rather than items. Easy to use and popular with guests!
We did a honeymoon registry as well as a traditional registry. It was very easy to put together and personalize! Guests seemed to enjoy it, and the money was easy to claim at the end.

Worked great for us
We loved this site. We liked that you could choose who pays for all the fees. We felt like since we decided to pick this style of registry why punish our guests. Everything was as advertised and we felt our guests loved it.

Life-Changing Honeymoon!
What a wonderful way to register. My husband and I used Traveler's Joy for our honeymoon in Barcelona! We had the greatest time ever. It made it so easy for our friends and family to get an idea of what their money would help us do while we were on our trip. It was awesome to be able to dream a little bigger with a little help from our friends. The coolest thing (I think) about the whole process is that the registry itself gave us an idea of what things to do, and we were blown away by the suggestions. We never would have seen a show at the Palau de la Musica Catalana, but since someone contributed to that fund, we saw a performance there and it was one of the highlights of our trip.
We are so grateful that Traveler's Joy allowed us to have the adventure of a lifetime!!

Super easy to use
This was the most straight forward honeymoon fund I was able to find. It was easy to set up, add gifts and link to our wedding website. I have yet to cash out our account so I can't speak to that.

Easy & Useful Registry
This was the easiest way to create a travel registry. It linked to our wedding website so as guests rsvp’d, they could easily go to our registry next. Most of the destinations had pre-selected itineraries of things to do there with verbiage. So all we had to do was select the things we wanted to do. We were notified by email any time someone got us something. It was easy to keep track of who gave us what.

Professional, Sleek, Easy
I loved using Traveler's Joy for our honeymoon registry. It was simple to use, fun, and looks professional and sleek. I love the customization AND the sort of "pre-loaded" gifts you can have on your registry if you don't know where to start. We have both this fund, The Knot fund (for other things) and other various registries. We got a ton of response on the honeymoon fund too. Would definitely recommend!

Best. Idea. Ever!
My (now) husband and I have been together for a long time we already have a very well established home. We both struggled to think of things that we needed that we could put on a registry. When I discovered Traveler's Joy, we both jumped on it! What an awesome idea! Now, our honeymoon is basically paid for and I can't wait!

My husband and I didn't need more "things" so we decided that a honeymoon registry would be best for us. Traveler's Joy was so easy to use, and I loved that it had the capability to add different activities and items that people could give gifts towards. This came in handy when writing thank you notes because I was able to personalize them more! I had many guests say that they thought this registry was a great idea!

This is a perfect option for couples that want to register for excursions, dinners, or anything for their honeymoon and beyond. The website makes excellent suggestions and is completely flexible for any location. You can add on items such as books, cameras, or household items not on another registry. My husband and I chose to have an EXPERIENCES not things for our registry , and travelers joy was EXACTLY what we wanted! You don't have to choose a pre-packaged holiday or trip and stick with it. We made up our itinerary on the Trans-Siberian railway across Russia, and then thought of things people could "buy" for us: champagne, a train ticket, a camel ride, a tour of a city, theater tickets, etc. People LOVED it and said they preferred this over getting us dishes and stuff. Not only did it pay for our ENTIRE honeymoon, the guests probably loved it the most! They loved contributing to our experience as a married couple and felt like they were a part of this awesome adventure. Highly, highly recommend.

LOVED using Traveler's Joy! Our guests loved contributing to our honeymoon. We really enjoyed putting the excursions together, and it was by far our most visited registry. Highly recommend!
