Amazing band!!
Tradewinds did an awesome job at our wedding, our guests couldn’t stop saying how great they were and how much fun they had on the dance floor! Tradewinds did our music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and were perfect for the entire event. The planning process was seamless - we didn’t even have to give them a playlist (besides key songs like first dances) and they delivered the perfect lineup that kept our guests of all ages on the dance floor all night. Highly recommend Tradewinds!! -

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to Tradewinds Entertainment and the amazing 5 person band that performed at our wedding at Montauk Yacht Club in late August. They were super high energy and just overall the best musicianship. Highly recommend to any couple thinking about hiring a band for their wedding! -

Amazing Band
Tradewinds was by far one of the best parts of our wedding. They kept the party going all night! We asked during our first call with Brad if we could have a friend do a cameo and he said yes immediately. Night of our friend got “on stage” with them and did a rendition of Uptown Funk and they treated him like part of the band the whole time. Everyone loved it and it made the night even more special! I would recommend them over and over again. Pete and the team were easy to work with and collaborated with the maitre d all night and we barely had to do anything. Thanks again to the band for making our night so fun -

We loved The Tradewinds and so did our guests! Music was most important for us when creating the vision of our wedding, and The Tradewinds delivered. All our guests, of all ages, were up dancing all night. Great energy and great vibe.

I cannot say enough great things about Tradewinds. Not only did they learn new songs for our day, but they were professional from start to finish. Let's be honest though, professionalism is excellent, but when you're looking for music, you're looking to see who's going to bring the fun... Well, look no further. I've been fortunate enough to see Tradewinds at their shows over the years, and I've always loved their energy, but their wedding vibe is a whole other level. There was a point where there was no room on the dance floor. My entire family was out there, sweaty, singing along, and refusing to leave the wedding. If you're in between a band or a DJ, hands down you have to go with Tradewinds as your band. They are better than any DJ out there, and you will have the most fun at your wedding. -

Exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend this band. They made the entire process easy and efficient. We communicated with the band leader up until our wedding day to make sure all the pieces were in place and everything worked out perfectly. We had an 11 piece band for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. The music was awesome and the band made the night amazing. They played great songs and had everyone up on the dance floor. All our guests told us how much they loved the band and we did too! -

I cannot say enough positive things about Tradewinds!!! They were a wonderful band to work with from the beginning stages of wedding planning. They were incredibly accommodating with our requests for our first dance and parent dances. Our dance floor was filled with guests from the flower girl to grandparents for the ENTIRE wedding. We had an absolute blast and our guests could not stop raving about Tradewinds! You can even listen to them play throughout Long Island or Fire Island before your wedding and see that people can't help but dance when they hear them play! -

Tradewinds has been a family favorite for years! We are a very close family around 30 of us and would come see them throughout the summers! We have incredible memories that we made by coming together through there music! Memorial Day 2022 my daughter told Brad Sporkin that she wanted them to play at her wedding even though not yet engaged! He said just get in touch with us when you are ready! Well 2 months later she got in touch and started to make her dream come true! She got married in August of 2023 and they were beyond what we had always knew they were! They played at the reception and had the guests up on their feet dancing from the first song and no one sat down the entire night! We can’t thank each and everyone of those amazing musicians for making our daughter and now son-in-laws dreams a reality! A special thanks to Brad Sporkin because through all the years of knowing him he has never let us down! If you are looking for a band for any occasion that means everything to you, then this incredibly special band is for you! They are beautiful people inside and out and won’t let you down no matter what your vision is! Thank you all again for all of our years of memories! We are looking for many, many more years to come! We found Tradewinds when they responded to my autobot request- we were getting desperate to hire a band so I used the app and Brad responded right away. After being intimidated by the first band we interviewed, Brad's professionalism was a relief and he was so down to earth! We later saw them when they were playing at some of there other summer spots and knew we had to have them for our wedding! My husband insisted on hiring the whole band it was incredible (& affordable!) ! Our guests are still talking about them (we were married 7.7.23). Tradewinds provided music for the entire day- ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They were so much fun and interacted with us and our guests too. They were all so professional and the ladies even had to help me bustle my dress properly! You will have an amazing experience when you hire Tradewinds for your wedding!! -

Tradewinds is the best wedding band hands down! We are a week out from our wedding and are still getting messages from our guests about how incredible the band was. Everyone down to the sound guy (Shoutout Mike Guido!) was awesome. The whole room of 170 people were on their feet dancing the whole time. They played a mix of new and old and were really phenomenal. From the moment we reached out, they were so easy and nice to work with. You could tell the passion they have for really making your night special. Pete the band leader would hop on calls with us day or night, weekday or weekend to make sure everything would be how we wanted it. Cant say enough about this band. They are awesome and we cant wait to come watch them play at one of their gigs this summer. -

We discovered Tradewinds years ago when they played at local events and fundraisers here on Long Island, and after scoping out some other potential options, we just knew they had to be our wedding band! Our wedding was on 10/8 in the Catskills and the members of Tradewinds travelled the 3+ hours on a holiday weekend to be there for us. We were all blown away by the beauty of the guitarist’s music during our ceremony, and they NAILED our first dance which is definitely not an easy song to cover! To say that they are the BEST wedding band is an understatement!! Their energy and positive vibes kept our dance floor filled all night. Our wedding guests were complimenting our music choice all night and into the following days. After the reception, they also DJed our after party and kept the party going! All of our tables were empty and the dance floor was flooded with our guests partying all night with Tradewinds at our wedding in Greenport! All our guests are still raving about the band and are now following them to local gigs weeks later. Everyone was impressed and we had the best time, thanks to the band!!! Brad, Pete, and everyone at Tradewinds were extremely easy to work with. They learned some pretty obscure songs for us and performed them well! We hired them for the ceremony music outside (guitar) and had a band member to play the venue's baby grand piano during cocktail hour. The music they played during the reception kept the dance floor full throughout all of their sets. We would highly recommend them for a wedding - especially one at Coindre Hall. -

We booked Tradewinds back in 2019 after watching them perform at the Salt Shack and we knew right away we wanted to book them. They were incredible at our wedding this past weekend. The dance floor was packed the entire night and all our guests had the best time. We got so many compliments from friends and family about how great our band was! They performed all our must-play songs and then came up with the perfect set list for us with tons of medleys! The band members were all awesome people. My husband and I would definitely recommend booking with Tradewinds for your upcoming events!
I also just wanted to note, the band was great with our COVID postponement. -

A lot went into planning a wedding, and tradewinds was the no brainer. I honestly don’t even know who else anyone would rather have play. Except for like, Smashmouth, but that’s like a meme and they cost $40,000.

My husband and I first saw Tradewinds performing at a local bar the weekend before we got engaged, and I thought to myself - this would be the perfect wedding band. Immediately following our engagement, Tradewinds was the first vendor that we booked - they were our top priority! Since booking them, we traveled all over Long Island to watch their performances, bringing family and friends with us to join in our excitement for our top-notch wedding day entertainment. Along the way, Pete, Brad, Rebecca, Sarah and all of the band members would remember us, shout us out at other events and chat with us, making us feel like part of the Tradewinds family leading up to our big day. When we were faced with the decision to postpone in March 2020, Brad & Pete could not have been more helpful or supportive. We worked together with our venue to find the perfect date that would allow the whole band to be together and we set our sights on the new date, October 9, 2020. Tradewinds kept in touch during the months of our delay to keep the excitement up, and it really showed us that they were invested in making our wedding day unforgettable. Ultimately, we decided on a backyard wedding for October 9, and we were lucky enough to have the space needed for the full, 11 piece ensemble to be together. After some brainstorming sessions, Pete came up with some awesome ideas for our bridal party introduction music 'The Best - Tina Turner', our first dance as husband and wife 'Just You n Me - Chicago' (who can pass up on Tradewinds' horn section?!?!) and parent dances as well. Every step of the way, from the first note to the final verse was unforgettable and absolutely perfect. Every dance set Tradewinds put together was flawless - they got the crowd dancing and played all the classics - including my wedding favorite - 'Shout!' to newer stuff by Post Malone. There was a song for every guests' preference. Our wedding took on a life of its own in 2020, but Tradewinds made it the best party we have ever been to. We can't wait to see them perform again and relive the memories from October 9. -

I LOVE this band! As a wedding planner I've worked with so many bands, DJs, solo artists and I always come back to Tradewinds. They are so easy to work with and so so talented. They're honest and organized and fit any clients' needs. I love recommending them and working together. They get everyone up out of their seats and play the best music - I especially love when they do "mash ups" of a few hit songs from the same artist or bands, it's like getting even more bang for your buck and everyone loves it. They read the crowd so well - book them, you will NOT be disappointed! -

Where do I even begin? It was an honor and a privilege to have Tradewinds play at our wedding and they MADE the wedding fantastic. The experience without Tradwinds would have been entirely different. Their music and all-around talent from the instruments, vocals, to their performance was immaculate. We had a 205 person wedding, and each person I spoke to after the wedding, raved about the band's performance. Their ability to be an emcee at the wedding was also impressive. On both the day of, and the year ahead while we planned the big day, Tradewinds management were organized, kind, and thoughtful. They consistently went above and beyond. Their two main vocalists are incredible and their autistic guitar performance at the ceremony, as well as the pianist performance at the cocktail hour were also beautiful. I can't recommend this band enough. Working with both Pete and Brad, their management team, was a pleasure. They are both kind and organized. Any bride and groom who has the opportunity to have this incredible band at their wedding is so lucky. Thank you again, to all the members of Tradewinds. Tradewinds was the first vendors Matt & I booked after booking our venue. We knew after we saw them a few years back in Fire Island that we had to have them at our wedding. Brad was excellent with communication, always answering our questions, wants and needs! They are not only amazingly talented musicians, but such nice and friendly people. Everyone at our wedding was up and dancing to the music they played all night long! Tradewinds played the perfect mix of music genres and listened to the requests we had. We also used them for our cocktail hour and ceremony, which they did an amazing job for as well. We are still having people come up to us to tell us how awesome the band was and how they couldn’t believe how much they danced at our wedding. It was also great to be able to see them perform at local places throughout the year. I would, hands down, recommend Tradewinds as a band to anyone looking! -

For anyone that has chosen to have a DJ over a live band for their wedding due to tight budgeting, do yourself a favor and consider contacting Tradewinds first. Tradewinds performed at our wedding this month and we were blown away by their quality, attention to detail, and ability to put on an unforgettable performance. Our guests cannot stop raving about how wonderful they were and how much fun they had celebrating. This band was able to work with us and give us everything we needed for our on-site ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Communicating with Brad and Pete over the course of our planning was easy, informative and personal. Since they perform locally often, we were able to see them live before booking them and we plan to continue following them at local Long Island breweries, beaches, and events. Even if you don’t need a wedding band, we recommend you go see them live anyway! -

Brendan Sent on 08/26/2018My wife and I hired Tradewinds as our wedding band after seeing them perform a few times at bars in the Bay Shore and Islip area. They were very accommodating in letting us pick our first dance, cake cutting, father/bride, mother/groom, and other special dances for our wedding, and they gave us exactly the music that we wanted for our cocktail hour. Tradewinds made our reception - they kept our guests and us on the dance floor all night with their choices of music, high energy and crowd engagement, and excellent musicianship. They were not a strain on our wedding budget, and we got a great deal for what we paid.
Hire Tradewinds as your wedding band if you're looking for the time of your life on your first party together as husband and wife! -

Tradewinds didn’t just play music at our wedding—they created an atmosphere, a celebration, and a night that none of us will ever forget. From the first note to the last song, they brought an energy that lit up the entire room and kept the dance floor packed all night long.
We received more than 25 messages from our guests after the wedding, each one raving about how phenomenal the band was. People were genuinely in awe—not just of the talent, but of the way Tradewinds connected with the crowd and made the entire reception feel like one big, unforgettable concert.
One of the most powerful moments of the night was our first dance. We chose “Love Will Lead You Back” by Taylor Dayne as our song, and when the female vocalist began to sing, it stopped everyone in their tracks. Her voice was so incredible, so moving, it truly felt like Taylor Dayne herself was performing. That moment was deeply personal to us, and she delivered it with such emotion and authenticity—it’s something we’ll remember forever.

We are groupies of this band. They have performed at numerous family parties of ours. However I was a bit hesitant that they would be able to transition from casual bar/party band, to elegant wedding band, but they exceeded our expectations! They were extremely professional while still a ton of fun and kept the dance floor packed all night. They learned our first dance song EXACTLY as sent to them, which we were concerned because we took dance lessons to a specific modified version of John Legend’s “All of Me”.
