  If you want a full dance floor, hire Tradewinds

  I cannot say enough great things about Tradewinds. Not only did they learn new songs for our day, but they were professional from start to finish. Let's be honest though, professionalism is excellent, but when you're looking for music, you're looking to see who's going to bring the fun... Well, look no further. I've been fortunate enough to see Tradewinds at their shows over the years, and I've always loved their energy, but their wedding vibe is a whole other level. There was a point where there was no room on the dance floor. My entire family was out there, sweaty, singing along, and refusing to leave the wedding. If you're in between a band or a DJ, hands down you have to go with Tradewinds as your band. They are better than any DJ out there, and you will have the most fun at your wedding.

  Amazing Band! Highly Recommend

  Exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend this band. They made the entire process easy and efficient. We communicated with the band leader up until our wedding day to make sure all the pieces were in place and everything worked out perfectly. We had an 11 piece band for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. The music was awesome and the band made the night amazing. They played great songs and had everyone up on the dance floor. All our guests told us how much they loved the band and we did too!

  The most amazing band!!

  I cannot say enough positive things about Tradewinds!!! They were a wonderful band to work with from the beginning stages of wedding planning. They were incredibly accommodating with our requests for our first dance and parent dances. Our dance floor was filled with guests from the flower girl to grandparents for the ENTIRE wedding. We had an absolute blast and our guests could not stop raving about Tradewinds! You can even listen to them play throughout Long Island or Fire Island before your wedding and see that people can't help but dance when they hear them play!

  Sisters wedding

  Such an amazing experience. Couldn’t have done it without them!! I felt like part of the band on that dance floor and I couldn’t be more grateful to such amazing people for their help making my sisters day a dream come true!

  10/10 experience!!!! You will not regret booking Tradewinds to play for the best day of your life!

  My family is OBSESSED with this band, so much so that we follow them around like groupies whenever they're playing. Their vibe is incredible and we all have the best time when we see them play. I'm thankful to Tradewinds, because their band has brought me closer to my family. I have so many memories of watching Tradewinds, laughing and dancing with my family that I'll never forget. When my sister got engaged, she knew immediately that she wanted Tradewinds to play at her wedding. The process was smooth prior to the wedding in terms of their customer service and communication with the bride and groom. My sister raved about how great they were, because it made planning a lot less stressful for her. She told them songs she liked and they crushed it on the day of. There was not a minute of the reception that people weren't on the dance floor. They're so engaging that family members who I'd never seen dance were up and having an incredible time. This meant so much to my family and I. The day truly would not have been complete without them and we have not stopped talking about it since. I would recommend Tradewinds to any couple planning a wedding and wanting a live band who will leave an unforgettable impact on the guests

  Phenomenal

  Tradewinds has been a family favorite for years! We are a very close family around 30 of us and would come see them throughout the summers! We have incredible memories that we made by coming together through there music! Memorial Day 2022 my daughter told Brad Sporkin that she wanted them to play at her wedding even though not yet engaged! He said just get in touch with us when you are ready! Well 2 months later she got in touch and started to make her dream come true! She got married in August of 2023 and they were beyond what we had always knew they were! They played at the reception and had the guests up on their feet dancing from the first song and no one sat down the entire night! We can’t thank each and everyone of those amazing musicians for making our daughter and now son-in-laws dreams a reality! A special thanks to Brad Sporkin because through all the years of knowing him he has never let us down! If you are looking for a band for any occasion that means everything to you, then this incredibly special band is for you!   Phenomenal musicians and a great time!

  We found Tradewinds when they responded to my autobot request- we were getting desperate to hire a band so I used the app and Brad responded right away. After being intimidated by the first band we interviewed, Brad's professionalism was a relief and he was so down to earth! We later saw them when they were playing at some of there other summer spots and knew we had to have them for our wedding! My husband insisted on hiring the whole band it was incredible (& affordable!) ! Our guests are still talking about them (we were married 7.7.23). Tradewinds provided music for the entire day- ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They were so much fun and interacted with us and our guests too. They were all so professional and the ladies even had to help me bustle my dress properly! You will have an amazing experience when you hire Tradewinds for your wedding!!

  the BEST band

  Tradewinds is the best wedding band hands down! We are a week out from our wedding and are still getting messages from our guests about how incredible the band was. Everyone down to the sound guy (Shoutout Mike Guido!) was awesome. The whole room of 170 people were on their feet dancing the whole time. They played a mix of new and old and were really phenomenal. From the moment we reached out, they were so easy and nice to work with. You could tell the passion they have for really making your night special. Pete the band leader would hop on calls with us day or night, weekday or weekend to make sure everything would be how we wanted it. Cant say enough about this band. They are awesome and we cant wait to come watch them play at one of their gigs this summer.

  My husband and I got married on May 19, 2023 in Montauk. We were excited to work with Tradewinds initially after seeing how highly rated they were on Wedding Wire, and then especially after our initial consultation. Pete, the band leader, had an incredible amount of passion and excitement when walking us through how they typically play, what we could expect, etc. We knew they would be amazing and sure enough they were. They brought so much energy to our wedding, we can’t thank them enough. The songs they played were all across the board - current, throwbacks, oldies etc. There was really music for everyone to enjoy, and everyone was raving about how great they were at the wedding and even after. We couldn’t recommend them more and look forward to seeing some of their sets this summer!

  Best wedding band ever!

  We discovered Tradewinds years ago when they played at local events and fundraisers here on Long Island, and after scoping out some other potential options, we just knew they had to be our wedding band! Our wedding was on 10/8 in the Catskills and the members of Tradewinds travelled the 3+ hours on a holiday weekend to be there for us. We were all blown away by the beauty of the guitarist’s music during our ceremony, and they NAILED our first dance which is definitely not an easy song to cover! To say that they are the BEST wedding band is an understatement!! Their energy and positive vibes kept our dance floor filled all night. Our wedding guests were complimenting our music choice all night and into the following days. After the reception, they also DJed our after party and kept the party going! We cannot thank Tradewinds enough for being a part of our special day. Looking forward to seeing them at future Long Island events!!! 💛 With love, Gab & Nick

  Tradewinds was absolutely incredible! By far one of the best parts of our wedding, it would not have been nearly as fun without them! Brad and Pete made sure everything was seamless on our wedding day. Everyone at our wedding had so much fun dancing all night long. At our after wedding brunch our family and friends could not stop talking about how incredible our band was. Would absolutely recommend hiring Tradewinds for your wedding and events!

  Non-stop Dancing!!!

  All of our tables were empty and the dance floor was flooded with our guests partying all night with Tradewinds at our wedding in Greenport! All our guests are still raving about the band and are now following them to local gigs weeks later. Everyone was impressed and we had the best time, thanks to the band!!! Thank you Tradewinds for making our party the best!

  Wedding June 25th 2022

  Tradewinds was an amazing band! My husband and I wouldn’t pick anyone better than them! Tradewinds had every guest at our wedding up on the dance floor! Everyone danced the night away! The singers were able to memorize certain songs we wanted including our first dance song in just two days and they NAILED IT!! We were blow away and everyone was speaking so positively about how wonderful the band played.

  Best Decision Ever? No Question!

We had seen Tradewinds perform locally one night and after having one of the best nights out in a long while, my wife and I searched the band online and had seen they do weddings. With the help of my father-in-law, we landed the band for our big day. I took him my future mother-in-law at the time, and few family members to SaltShack on Long Island to see them play live and we went again recently just because. My in laws knew they made a great decision as well. We were overjoyed that we got such a dynamic group of musicians. We went all out for our big day and literally grabbed every option we could and still kept the bill affordable for live music. 3 piece jazz for 1.5 hr cocktail hour, guitar player greeting guests for half hour and then the big 11 piece for the reception. We also enlisted Pete to DJ the afterparty. With the added lighting package, where could we go wrong. The answer is you DON'T! We had so many compliments on how good the band was that it made the night even more special. Brad and Pete literally took care of everything. The planning and discussions leading into the big day was easy, the song selection was easy, they even learned a few songs to play for first dances. What else can you ask for? We hired them for the ceremony music outside (guitar) and had a band member to play the venue's baby grand piano during cocktail hour.   This might be the best band that I have ever heard at a wedding. They were amazing. Their vocalists really know how to sing. Their band knows how to play their instruments. It was like having a professional performance at my wedding. We also had their jazz trio at our cocktail hour. They were fantastic. I got so many compliments on their performance. Everybody asked who they were and where I found them. I highly recommend them!

  The most amazing band!!!!!!

  Tradewinds was amazing! Everything went so smoothly, from initial contact with them, following up before the wedding, and the day of the event. All of the band members were wonderful, and having them perform at the wedding made for the most perfect reception. Every single wedding guest told me how much they loved the band, and several guests remarked they would like to hire Tradewinds for their own events, including one family member who wants to have a party just to hire the band! My husband and I spent the entire night on the dance floor, as did all the kids in attendance, and I even saw the waiters at the venue dancing on the edge of the dance floor! They played the perfect variety of music, even learning new songs for us. We had the most amazing day, and Tradewinds played a huge part in that. We couldn't be happier!!

  Tradewinds Perfection!

  We’ve known Tradewinds for over 15 years, and this was their best performance yet. They absolutely killed it at our wedding and had everyone up out of their seats dancing all night long. They were perfect and exceeded out expectations! Highly recommend!!

  Tradewinds is awesome! They have played numerous events for my family, including my sister’s wedding, so they have become family friends. When my husband and I got engaged we wanted to hire Tradewinds for our wedding immediately. They are very organized throughout the planning process and they make sure to discuss wedding day details with you in advance of the event. They provided many suggestions for first dance, entry, father/daughter and mother/son songs. They are super interactive when performing and genuinely strive to make your event special and fun. Everyone at our wedding thought the band was fantastic and had a great time dancing to their music. Their song selection really speaks to everyone since they perform a nice mix of classic oldies and current hits of all genres. They welcome your input for specific songs and genres that you wish to request. They also do mashups which are really fun and unique.   Hands down amazing!

  Tradewinds is hands down AMAZING and made our wedding day an absolute blast! We saw them perform at a couple of spots on LI and knew we had to have them at our wedding. Brad made the booking process a breeze and knew we were in great hands. As the wedding approached, we had great communication with Pete in regards to coordination and song requests. Everyone was dancing the night away and we cannot recommend the entire Tradewinds Band, and Brad & Pete enough. Amazing performance. Our guests are still talking about how great they were!

  We booked Tradewinds back in 2019 after watching them perform at the Salt Shack and we knew right away we wanted to book them. They were incredible at our wedding this past weekend. The dance floor was packed the entire night and all our guests had the best time. We got so many compliments from friends and family about how great our band was! They performed all our must-play songs and then came up with the perfect set list for us with tons of medleys! The band members were all awesome people. My husband and I would definitely recommend booking with Tradewinds for your upcoming events!
  
  I also just wanted to note, the band was great with our COVID postponement.
