I planned my wedding from far away and did not even see the venue until the day of. Thankfully, the venue was totally the right choice. Very cool historic building with lots of fun different spaces good for pictures. They coordinated a lot for us, day of coordination, catering, flowers and everything was reasonably priced and turned out lovely. Highly recommend.

Town Square decorated the private room we had at a local restaurant for a rehearsal dinner. Our son, his bride, and I enjoyed the short drive to Paola to meet with Michelle and talk about decor for the tables. They provided beautiful floral centerpieces, floating candles, and also set out a pretty welcome table with framed pictures of the couple which we provided. The bride and I were both very happy with how the room looked. I dropped by the restaurant early to check on something and was pleasantly surprised that it was decorated early, so I was able to go to the rehearsal knowing everything was ready in case guests arrived early.

Town Square was a fantastic venue! We worked with Michelle, Tammy and Beth for 10 months and had a wonderful experience and wedding. Tammy helped us navigate the food tasting and it was absolutely fabulous. Great food. She also helped us with decorating choices. We worked mostly with Beth though and she does the flowers. Our wedding flowers for the table were gorgeous and we had many compliments. Had several different simple flower centerpieces and she did a great job with all of them. My bouquet was just what I wanted-different shades of lilac with white stock and scabiosa and a few eucalyptus leaves. She had great ideas for decorations both inside and out and we needed that direction. Always cheerful, always available to talk or text and never pushy. All three ladies let us have free rein and worked hard to make our vision happen. We had a bridal luncheon for the bridal party on the day of and it was great chicken salad, sandwiches, fresh fruit, chips and cookies. Perfect. The food at the reception was truly delicious and we had many compliments. I just wish I could have eaten more but didn't have time! And the wedding cake! Michelle is the cake baker/decorator and she did a phenomenal job with our cake. We had two cakes, a 3 tier white with raspberry filling and white buttercream icing and a chocolate sheet cake with white buttercream icing. I had emailed a picture of a cake decorated with different sized edible pearls all over it and Michelle nailed it! The cake was beautiful-just what I wanted-but it was also delicious. We got lots of compliments on the cake too. The photographer said it was the best wedding cake she has ever tasted and she tastes lots of them. Town Square is such a unique venue with brick walls, tin ceiling, original wood floors and a beautiful wooden staircase and railings connecting the 3 floors. Makes for wonderful, unique photos. We had a smaller wedding and reception with about 60 people yet the spacious street level room didn't feel cavernous because they know how to arrange everything. Plenty of room for dancing, a DJ set up, food tables, cake table and all the other tables. We had an outdoor ceremony in front of the gazebo and they did a great job setting up as we wanted. All included in the price which, by the way, we thought was quite reasonable. We would recommend Town Square to anyone for any kind of celebration. They're professional, great to work with and most knowledgable about weddings. Michelle has done a fantastic job and she has a great staff. Recommend highly!

I have not stopped hearing “you two picked the PERFECT venue!!!” since I got married. Town Square was everything I wanted. It was so naturally gorgeous that decor was an after thought and only a perk. The staff took all of my notes and everything was just the way I wanted it when I walked in on the big day. Every single staff member including the bartenders were kind and respectful to all of our guests from all walks of life. I cannot say enough about this place!!!!!

This venue was nothing short of amazing. They did everything in the venue food, drinks,decorations, and floral. I worked with Desi and she was absolutely amazing and essential to my day. It was absolutly beautiful and worth every penny spent. So acomadating, and friendly. This venue made our day everything it possibly could be. Highly highly recomend!

I am an event coordinator with The Veil KC, I recently worked with Town Square Paola for a fundraiser where they were the cater. As impending weather approached Michelle proved once again why people matter. She graciously opened up her venue to host our event and they were above and beyond amazing! Flexible doesn't it cut it, the word has not been invited on how amazing Michelle / Beth and the entire team. TRULY the ENTIRE TEAM. There is a level of care and commitment to your events. Brides, Event mangers, this is the place to have your events!!! You will not be disappointed. That was just the service! The food, the service, the beauty. It has it all!! As a Miami county girl myself I am reminded how sometimes in the city we get to busy - customer service is king, and you all were impeccable.

I used Town Square for decorating, coordination, cake and flowers. I only had to meet with Michelle a few times in order to get the wedding of my dreams. She came out to my venue the day before and the day of and made sure my wedding went off without a hitch. I haven't stopped getting compliments about how beautiful everything was and how much detail went into the decor. We got married at a farm and Michelle's vision matched perfectly with mine. I just showed her a few things that I liked and told her our theme and she came up with the rest. Her cupcakes were absolutely delicious and the flowers went well with the rest of the decor. The best thing about this vendor is that she is invested in making your wedding what you want it to be right down to the last detail. She is experienced and knowledgeable about all things wedding. I felt like I could trust her to tell me if something would or wouldn't work. She was also able to work well with my other vendors to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. Did I think I could have a wedding without a planner? Absolutely. Am I glad I had one? Absolutely!

We had our ceremony and reception at Town Square and it was absolutely fantastic! Tammy, our coordinator, was so helpful and responsive leading up to the wedding! Town Square and the staff did everything for us: flowers, DJ, food, bar, etc. And everything was amazing!! They made our wedding so fun and completely stress-free! We cannot thank them enough, and we will be recommending them to everyone we know!

I had a fantastic time planning and enjoying my wedding at Town Square. Not many brides can say that they truly enjoyed wedding planning but the team at Town Square is so friendly and helpful that it was easy to leave the little details to them. There are so many reasons I'd recommend the venue to people but I'll try to highlight some of my favorites.

First, the venue itself is gorgeous. My friends told me that when they heard I'd be getting married in a small town in Kansas, they wondered why. But as soon as they saw it, they immediately realized why. It's a gem. It can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the feel you want. Original tin ceilings, exposed brick, and flattering mood lighting bring it together. We used the upstairs loft space as well for the ceremony, which was perfect for photos. The bridal suite and grooms suite were great, and I had no problem feeling comfortable and relaxed while getting ready. The entire time our photographers kept commenting on what wonderful lighting there was for photos. Even the outdoor spaces in and around the area were gorgeous as a backdrop.

Like I mentioned earlier, it was pretty easy planning a wedding at Town Square. I worked closely with Tammy from the beginning, and she was super insightful when I asked for help making a decision or when brainstorming ideas. My family is from Olathe, but I currently live out of town. Email was a great option when I had something non-urgent to chat with Tammy about. Pinterest photos was all Beth needed to make the flowers exactly how I imagined them. Michelle made delicious food and adapted a family recipe for serving with cake.

Finally, the price for what you get at Town Square can't be beat. I got my dream wedding for a budget price, and a heck of a party to boot!

There aren't words to describe how wonderful this venue is! The ladies at Town Square made our wedding a day that we will never forget! Their responsiveness and attention to detail was impeccable. I had the freedom to add where I wanted to and they took initiative when I gave them direction. As someone who often times has a difficult time getting my thoughts out 'on paper', it was wonderful to have a team of people who were so helpful and flexible with decorating! Getting-ready accommodations are so sweet and special. We loved the bridal suite where we got ready and it made for some precious getting ready pictures! The guys also enjoyed watching soccer in the "man suite". There are too many wonderful things I could say about Town Square! Thank you for making our day so special!!

We are the parents of the bride and we live across the state from our daughter and son-in-law. As the mother-of-the-bride I was very concerned that I would not be as involved in the planning and preparation because of the distance. However, this was untrue. Michelle and her entire staff were nothing but supportive, helpful and very professional. Between emails and a few phone calls I felt I was there and very involved in the planning. The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS, the personal service and support we received was outstanding. We could not have asked for a more majical day. Town Square and staff provide a personal and very special service. THANK YOU for all you did to make this a beautiful and love filled day.

Michelle is super easy to work with and is invested in your big day. She is very prompt in responding to emails (even the silly little questions). Michelle is willing to help with as much or as little of the wedding planning process and very knowledgeable about the whole process as well as affordable/quality vendors (especially when you are on a tight budget). Not to mention the venue is absolutely beautiful.

We had our shower, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception at Town Square. We choose to do the all inclusive package and it made life SO much easier. They are very accommodating. Made our special day stress free, and we would have it there again in a heartbeat!

Truly the most wonderful venue ever! It was so wonderful to have everything from the cake, to the flowers, food, DJ, decor, really everything done for us for a amazing price. Plus, Paola is also such a quaint location - our guests had a fun time too! Loved everything and I recommend to anyone wanting to have their wedding the Kansas City area.

Our reception was set up so beautifully, town square did a wonderful job! I will continue to refer them in the future as well as use them again in the future if I have an event.

I am the most unorganized/indecisive/procrastinator there is. I had a vision for my wedding just didn't know how to put it to reality. I grew up in Paola so went to check out Town Square and the building alone is gorgeous. I was then blown away by Michelle and then to the night of all the workers. I told her what I liked and she was able to put that in to my reception. I was doing the planning from out of town and was not once stressed out or unable to do anything. She took care of everything and always reached me by phone if she had questions. The reception was more amazing than I imagined. It went off with no issues. The decorations, help, set up everything was great.

I know that Paola seems far from KC, but do yourself a favor and make the 35 minute drive from south Overland Park to check it out. This place has the BEST mojo and it's full of magic. Once you step inside the building and meet the friendly staff, you will feel the glow! Town Square is unlike any other location I researched; they don't just hand you the key and let you fend for yourself - they provide anything you want. So many times, I would describe something and Tammy would say, "Send me a Pinterest pin for that" and voila - it was replicated and done! They do flowers, the BEST CAKE you've ever had, table decorations, the BEST FOOD, bartenders, booze, you name it - this is a bride's dream come true. I love this venue and I would encourage any bride who wants a vintage but not stuffy feel to check it out. It's airy, dreamy, gorgeous, and working with this vendor was absolutely the best decision I made.

Michelle makes it easy! I just tell her my ideas and she makes it work. All the staff is so creative. They do everything for us, photography, catering, wedding cake, dj, officiant, flowers, etc. Love the venue!

Our wedding went off without a hitch and looked fabulous. Michelle and her team were phenomenal and did literally EVERYTHING for us. If you want it they will get it. You may need to be a little more relaxed regarding your wedding and your decorations when choosing Town Square as communication is not their strong suit. However, when we showed up everything was absolutely perfect from the flowers to the food!! There is nothing better than showing up to your venue with it being set up and not stressing about having to set everything up. This venue is most definitely worth it as Michelle and her team really do make sure that the day is great and the price is PHENOMENAL!!

The staff here is not only highly skilled and experienced, but also extremely creative and easy to work with. I promise you - NOTHING will go wrong on your big day if you choose Town Square. So many of my friends who got married elsewhere had so many things on their plate - centerpieces, reception hall setup, food setup, etc, etc - that Town Square just DOES for you. They don't surprise you with any hidden fees and will even accommodate strange requests (Michelle and her staff brought games from their own homes for my guests to play during cocktail hour).

My only frustration came from trying to contact them - be aware that you will need to beg, borrow, and steal to get an email or phone call response from their staff. You will be best off travelling down to Paola and dropping by (which they encourage you do whenever you desire). This small frustration was more than worth choosing this awesome venue. You won't be disappointed!
