8th Grade Dance!
We recently hosted our 8th Grade Dance at this restaurant, and it exceeded all expectations. The venue is absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect setting for such a special celebration. The food was delicious, and every dish was enjoyed by students and teachers.
What truly stood out was the spectacular service. The staff was attentive, professional, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire event, helping everything run smoothly from start to finish.
Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories for our students. We highly recommend this restaurant for any special event or celebration!

We recently hosted our wedding reception at My Kitchen Forest Hills with about fifty guests, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
From our first visit, my husband and I knew this was the perfect venue for us. The space is both elegant and inviting, and we were confident that Chef Yvan’s cuisine would impress our guests — and it absolutely did.
A heartfelt thank you to Rebecca, Chef Yvan and the team — the food was outstanding, and the service was superb. The cocktail hour menu was a hit with our guests and dinner selections (we went with the buffet) were tasty and memorable. Guests still rave about how good the drinks were also.
The entire team was professional, attentive, and made us feel truly valued. Their seamless coordination allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment with our loved ones, which meant so much to us.
What stood out most was the venue’s flexibility and willingness to accommodate our requests. They collaborated with us to ensure every detail reflected our vision, creating a truly personalized celebration.
Overall, we could not be happier with our experience at My Kitchen. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an intimate, budget-friendly, and elegant wedding venue. It exceeded our expectations for our special day.

Thank you, My Kitchen! - from a very happy couple
We celebrated our October 2024 wedding at My Kitchen, and they exceeded all our expectations! My Kitchen offers both indoor and outdoor spaces, making it perfect for any season. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive. The owners, Rebecca and Yvan, and their team were so helpful and accommodating from start to finish.
It can be hard to choose the perfect wedding venue and at first, we weren’t sure what to expect. But after our tour, we knew this was the place for us. The outdoor patio area was intimate, warm, and beautiful! We rented space heaters in case, but we didn’t end up needing a tent - though My Kitchen can rent a tent if needed. We had the reception outside, with string lights hanging above. It created such a magical atmosphere as the sun set, and the lights added the perfect touch.
We had about 40 guests and there was definitely enough space for all of us. Even though parking was limited, guests were able to easily find street parking in the surrounding residential area even on a Saturday night.
Overall, we highly recommend this venue - beautiful space, exceptional professionals, and amazing service! -

We held my sisters bridal shower here and we couldn't have been happier! Rebecca and Yvan were there every step of the way, making the entire process so easy. Day of, the staff was so incredible, attentive, and professional (even with our tensions running high decorating before the bride arrived haha). The food was delicious and the space itself is gorgeous. I'd highly recommend them!! -

I cannot speak highly enough of Rebecca, Yvan and everyone at My Kitchen. My husband and I had our long overdue wedding celebration here on Saturday and it was absolutely a dream. Rebecca is an all star and was amazing from start to finish. The communication and attention to detail was 10/10 and I felt super safe in her hands. Yvan smashed it out of the park with the food, I have never heard so many rave reviews from our friends and family in my life. Most importantly, they are so kind. Everyone was unbelievably impressed, I would host another event with them in a heartbeat and hope someone else does so I can go back!!! -

Rebecca and Yvon exceeded all our expectations and left us in awe! When we embarked on the journey of finding the perfect wedding venue, we encountered numerous overpriced options with owners who seemed indifferent to our needs. However, with Rebecca and Yvon, this was not the case. From the very beginning, Rebecca displayed a genuine investment in making our special day truly magical. As for Yvon, he took on the role of a master chef, pouring his heart and soul into creating a culinary experience that felt like a once-in-a-lifetime event.
The venue they provided left all our guests amazed, and the food Yvon crafted left everyone's taste buds in ecstasy. We will forever cherish the memories of our extraordinary day, and it wouldn't have been possible without the incredible service we received from these wonderful hosts. Rebecca's attentiveness and dedication matched our own, making us feel valued and cared for every step of the way. And Yvon's culinary expertise was nothing short of exceptional; his passion for cooking shone through in every delicious bite.

Eva’s Sweet 16
We booked our daughter’s sweet 16 here as we wanted a small intimate party. Rebecca was extremely helpful from beginning to end. When I ran into a problem with seating she accommodated us with another table. She set everything up for us and was a pleasure to work with. Her husband Yvan is a great chef… all the food he cooked for us that night was wonderful. Rebecca made sure the party ran smoothly and I can’t thank her and her staff enough for that. If you are looking for a place to have a celebration this is it! Can’t give enough stars!! Will definitely be back for future parties!! -

Dhanny is a beautiful blessing ! When my venue fell through due to the lack of any communication during COVID I was literally in a panic ! I came across my kitchen and spoke with Dhanny who is the sweetest with a genuine heart of gold she took all the weight off my shoulders and her and her husband chef made our night amazing we are so grateful. If you are considering this place you will not be disappointed. -

When My Kitchen responded to my venue request, I was already jaded due to the cancellation of the previous venue, four weeks before our wedding. Dhanny is the sweetest. She and her team made our day absolutely incredible. Calming all of my nerves and not having us lift a finger. The staff is professional and kind, and the food is out of this world! All of my 18 in-person guests had an amazing time and felt especially safe as My Kitchen follows strict COVID 19 Guidelines. Even having the option of entertaining my guests on Zoom wasn't an issue. From set up to clean up, they did it all. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an event venue! -

It is hard planning a wedding. Even harder planning a Covid Wedding. But I have to say, even if it wasn’t Covid time, I’d still choose My Kitchen to host my wedding. The outdoor patio is where we had our intimate wedding of 23 guests. The space was PERFECT: quaint, elegant, natural, and photographed so well. Dhanny, the owner, is a saint - she responded to all my emails quickly and kept an unwavering commitment to Covid Safety protocols while offering us suggestions and optimism when we faced challenges/state restrictions. The food was delicious, you can tell it’s cooked with love.
Our guests loved the space, and me and hubs loved it as well. Absolutely no regrets - I’m already thinking of any other opportunities to book the space again later. -

My husband and I had our wedding here and it was amazing!!!! All of our guests enjoyed themselves!!!! From the first time we saw the venue we knew that it was the one. There was no need to keep looking anywhere else. Dhanny and Joe were very welcoming and it truly felt like we were in the presence of family. That sealed the deal for us!! The planning process went smoother than I thought. Dhanny was with us every step of the way. She is full of ideas, and she helped us add personal touches to our ceremony. Her husband Joe is the chef and he is AMAZING!!!! I could eat his food everyday and not get tired of it!!!! The menu Dhanny and Joe put together was superb! The food is delicious!!!!!!!!!!!! I can sit here and go on for hours about how delicious the food is. The best decision we made was to have our wedding at My Kitchen!!!! Thank you again to Dhanny and Joe for hosting us. -

A Wedding to remember
My Husband and I just recently hosted a intimate wedding ceremony & reception at My Kitchen and we are still glowing from how beautifully everything turned out. I found My Kitchen searching for an intimate venue that was affordable with quality service & food. This place exceeded my expectations! I sure did luck out finding this venue ... Dhanny and Chef Joe did not disappoint, from the moment I met them I felt like family and they made my wedding day an unforgettable memory for my family & I. We were married at MyKitchen in August this year and it was everything we hoped for! Dhanny is incredibly easy to work. She made the everything stress free. The food and service were excellent. And no one can beat the prices! We received some exorbitant prices for venues when we had started planning. At Mykitchen, we spent less than the cost to just rent the venue! The space is beautiful, especially the back patio. -

I was lucky enough to have stumbled across MyKitchen. My now-husband and I wanted a short engagement and gave ourselves 3 months to put together a wedding. We were also busy with work so time was severely limited. Dhanny made the whole process incredibly easy. She was communicative and understands how to plan and run a wedding. I basically handed the reins over to her. We used the City Hall Wedding Reception package which helped streamline planning and kept us to our budget. The package includes appetizers and a pre-fixed menu where you get to choose from various entrees and sides. My 65 guests were raving about the food. The only thing I needed to do were centerpieces and order the cake. She has many types of set-ups, tables, chairs, table linen, etc to choose from. Since Dhanny is familiar with many wedding vendors, she was able to recommend florists, bakeries, and officiants. The space itself looks elegant with dark hardwood floors and lots of natural light, there is also a beautiful patio (but our wedding was 2/22 so it was still a tad bit cold to have the ceremony outside). Day of the wedding, we could enjoy ourselves because Dhanny and her team were ensuring everything went off without a hitch. My husband and I are very grateful, and we definitely plan on having dinners and holding more special events at MyKitchen. -

Oh what a fun and joyful wedding we had! It is been over 2 months and still getting positive feedback for our reception from our guests. It went so easy and carefree that I just want to live the day over again and again. The reception area is welcoming, clean beautiful and spacious and the backyard is enchanting with the trees and flowers perfect for any type of ceremony, and a pleasant cocktail hour with appetizers right after that. We had about 50 guests including us most of them with special needs children - I point this out because I had to make sure it will be safe for all. We went by family style and gosh that food! It was delicious! Chef Joe sure knows his craft! The salmon...that salmon became legendary in our circles. Dhanny helped me so much her recommendations of florist and DJ saved a lot of time for me. She is a true professional, very knowledgeable and makes you feel special. Besides professional help I can tell that I got all kind of other support specially when I felt so overwhelmed I just didn't know where to go how to start anything at all. For example it was difficult to chose the theme color because I LOVE colors and Dhanny tamed everything for me to a simple beautiful cute clean look. When I walked in for the first time .... I was in awe it looked so pretty! We also got the chance to take pics next door for our 1950's vibe thanks to Dhanny... and for that thankyouthankyouthankyou infinity!
To be honest I picked My Kitchen 3 years ago based on pictures I have seen on another website. You can tell I did not rush. For me My Kitchen was love at first sight. And my love at first sight was the best choice we made to get married and party. Thank you Dhanny and Chef Joe for making that day of September 15th one of the best day of our lives! -

We celebrated our wedding in My Kitchen. It was spectacular. The food was delicious, the service was above and beyond. And Dhanny made our day magical. She was amazing, she decorated the reception so beautiful, always attentive. The service of the staff was amazing. We had a great wedding. I highly recommend this place. I walked in My Kitchen based on the reviews i saw on here. I will be honest, out of all of the places i searched this is the one place i actually went to in person. When you drive up it looks like the outside of a restaurant, but once you enter it literally is like you walked into another world. I planned my wedding in less than a month, it was originally suppose to be just signing of paper but my mother wanted me to do a little more. I have never planned a wedding before but i chose to start here. I sincerely believe God lead me here. Dhanny is the sweetest person and genuinely cared about helping us. We didn't have anything, not flowers, nor cake. She suggested places to us and showed us ideas. She has an art at this and was truly helpful. The place is so beautiful. My wedding only had 40 guest, originally was suppose to be 25 but you know how people add on last minute, she was great with this, extremely helpful. The food was amazing omg. Her husband is the chef and omg the food was so good, one of my guests went up for food like 5 times (yes my husbands family still laughs about it). We chose to do buffet. We also chose not to assign seats since people switch seats anyways. Dhanny helped with the decor, she made it look so beautiful. she told me to get a few items and she would do the rest and she made it perfect. Honestly it looked amazing. We did the cocktail hour in the back outdoor area and it was awesome. the appetizers were so delicious. The bar had all kinds of liquor and delicious cocktails. I literally ordered things on amazon and she put everything together, even had my cake done down the block (yes the cake was so good) and didn't have to worry about having someone bring it since the place brings it for you. The florist a few doors away as well was awesome. Both were recommended by Dhanny. Its the perfect place for your wedding of different sizes. Ive seen her have different events there and they really make it fabulous. I think i would want to have my baby shower here once we decide to have kids because I've seen what she does for those as well. Trust me when i say, go look at the place for yourself, I certainly am glad i did. -

Jessica Sent on 06/22/2018I planned my wedding in about 4 weeks and I have to say My Kitchen absolutely made my dreams come true! Dhanny was so sweet and so helpful with every detail. The place was amazing! It really is a hidden gem! My husband and I opted for the City Hall Wedding Package with about 36 of our closest friends and family. The set up was so intimate, the service was impeccable and Dhanny calmed every bit of any wedding jitters i had. She was able to help me pull this wedding off and have it look amazing! So affordable and so worth it!
My kitchen has a gorgeous space where I was able to have my ceremony outside. My friends and family absolutely loved the place and the food was amazing!!!! Everything about this place is well worth it! Especially if your looking for an intimate setting! I could have not asked for a more perfect day! -

They are both personable and genuine. From the moment I walked into the venue to view it and met with Dhanny I just knew everything would go as planned. The venue was decorated so beautifully, and Dhanny coordinated the events of the wedding perfectly! The food was delicious! Everything was perfect! Leslie Sent on 03/30/2018We recently had our wedding at My Kitchen on 03/09/2018. The wedding went perfect, it really went above anything we would’ve imagined. Dhanny, the event manager was amicable and helpful on our special day. From the moment we walked in to see the venue we feel in love and knew I could trust Dhanny with this important day. Her husband, Joe who is also the chef at My Kitchen was welcoming and made us feel comfortable.
Dhanny was in constant communication with us in the 3 months that we planned it and helped us along the way with recommendations and ideas to make the night fit our personalities. Any time I had a question, I emailed/called and got a reply quickly.
It was our first place we went to look at and we knew right there talking to Dhanny that this would be the place to celebrate with our family and friends. The room was bigger than expected we had a total of 62 guest, not including the vendors (Caricaturist/DJ/Buffet style) and everyone felt comfortable. We brought in our décor in the day before (center pieces, welcome sign, seating chart, seating name cards, card box, signs.. etc, It was alot) and the day of, everything was put together perfectly.
We got appetizers for the guest for the 30-45 minutes until we arrived and by the time we arrived there was barley anything left, everyone loved it. We had buffet style serving, the food was ready, hot and tasted amazing! I received only great commentary from all the guest on how great the food was and how beautiful and together our wedding was.
I can’t thank Dhanny, her team, My Kitchen for supporting/helping/allowing us to have this day that we will cherish forever. A+++

Amanda Sent on 03/25/2018During and after our wedding, our guests kept saying how perfect everything was. That was due in large part to Dhanny, Chef Joe, and My Kitchen.
From the first inquiry email to the last goodbye on our wedding day, Dhanny was a breeze and a pleasure to work with as the event coordinator. She knows weddings, and she knows how to guide brides through the process. Dhanny provided us with many helpful ideas and good common-sense advice. She also made sure that everyone and everything moved along smoothly for the ceremony and reception.
The space is beautifully kept and perfect for a more intimate wedding or event. It is decorated in a clean neutral way that would work with almost any style, and it does not need a lot of extra decoration to make it pretty. All we really had to bring in were centerpieces/table accents. The reception package included chair covers and sashes as well as table runners.
We had our ceremony in the lovely backyard on a chilly but lovely day in March. Cocktails and dinner were inside, and our guests felt cozy and comfortable. Chef Joe’s hors d'oeuvres and dinner were a hit with the crowd. The servers were patient and professional.
As I hope is obvious at this point in the review, we highly recommend My Kitchen to any couple planning a wedding!

We recently celebrated our Elopement Wedding Dinner (40 guests) at My kitchen Kitchen in Forest hills and it was an absolutely magical experience from start to finish.
From the moment me and my husband toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding reception; we fell in love with the outdoor garden; The setting was quaint and stunning, it truly revived my imagination for the perfect setting, loved the trees, surrounding the place, lighting and more!
The team was incredibly attentive and professional. They made us feel valued throughout the entire event, they ensured everything ran smoothly and allowed us to focus on enjoying our time with friends and family! that was important.
The venue itself is sophisticated, with a charming garden, and beautiful indoor reception area, where our guest enjoyed their cocktail hour. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and inviting it was. Thank you to chef Yvan and team the food was amazing – so many of our guests commented on how delicious our 3 course elegant dinner was, the empanadas where to die for yum!
One of the things we appreciated most was how flexible and accommodating the venue was with all of our requests, making it feel like a truly personal experience. They made sure every detail reflected our vision.
Overall, me and my husband couldn’t be happier with our experience at My Kitchen, we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to host an intimate wedding that’s budget friendly and well-managed. It was everything we dreamed of and more! -

We hosted our baby shower at My Kitchen this past Spring and could not have asked for a better experience. Their on-site coordinator was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process to bring our event to life. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner via email and during our in-person visit as well. She was also very fair in helping us negotiate minor menu changes and space allocations so the event was totally customized to our needs.
The day of the party the staff was available to help in setting up our decor, which was a huge relief. They were all also very attentive to our guests, ensuring they were welcomed warmly and had a drink upon arrival. We opted for a family-style brunch and everyone raved about the food. It was absolutely delicious and abundant. Even the freshly baked pastries were incredible.
Throughout the event, the coordinator and owner checked in with my frequently to ask if I needed anything which was such a nice touch. We were so happy to our decision to support this wonderful local business and would highly recommend them! -
Desiree Sent on 05/28/2018On the 22nd of April, 2018, our dreams were absolutely extended beyond their own heights and reaches as we celebrated our most joyous wedding, and so very much of the credit that this was a tangible reality is owed to the staff of My Kitchen. My Kitchen owner Dhanny embraced our union, leading up to the celebration, during it and afterwards as if she was part of the wedding, herself. She made the whole process as easy as possible and was flexible with any request we had.
The venue was perfectly intimate for our group (which was slightly above 30) but would do the same for a larger group as the room could be opened up. Talking about opening up, the room had two doors that swing open into a beautiful backyard (where some choose to hold their outdoor ceremony) where kids (of all ages) had the most wonderful time running around and enjoying the peaceful outdoors with a breath of fresh air, which truly could be a metaphor for the whole celebration.
Deliciously catered and kindly served by the whole staff, our special day was more than just a traditionally used phrase, but truly our actuality: the most special of days.
We both grew up, and continue to live, in Queens, not far from where My Kitchen is located. Because of this, there is a community affect that gave us much pride. In addition to supporting the local restaurant itself, My Kitchen recommends local neighbors for florist and bakery services. It was nice to know that we were supporting our neighborhood and community.
With all of our appreciation and the most proud of our approval signatures, we send our happiness to anyone who decides to have an event at My Kitchen...because that's what it shall feel like, as if you are sitting in/outside of a friend's beautiful home, sharing a meal and having a great time amongst those you care about, all done with the utmost of ease.
