Perfect floral!!

Jill was such an absolute pleasure to work with- she just got us! We had so many floral aspects to our wedding day (as we had two ceremonies, a lunch, and reception). She somehow made each event feel special and unique, but still cohesive. She was very conscious of our budget and helped us repurpose as many arrangements as possible. Look no further- choosing Toulies was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!

The only florist you should consider...

We cannot say enough good things about Jill! She executed the florals of our downsized wedding absolutely perfectly. She transformed the space into an incredible event that people could not stop talking about. Her design and floral arrangements really made our wedding so special. She went above and beyond! She was also so fun to work with and had such a great vision. If you are looking for a florist for your event, you need to use Jill!!

The whole process was very smooth. I sent them a pic of what I was thinking and they customized the order to my needs. Everything was simple and the flowers were at the venue ready to go first thing in the morning. Quick to respond and beautiful results.

Incredibly gorgeous arrangements and a joy to work with!

We loved absolutely working with Toulies en Fleur and can not recommend Jill and her team enough! Jill made our vision for our wedding come to life gorgeously and brought creativity, flexibility and attentiveness to the entire planning process. She took the time to understand which details would make our day extra special and executed them more beautifully than we could have imagined. Gorgeous floral!

We interviewed several florists and Jill seemed to understand our daughter's vision perfectly. She created colorful, natural and elegant bridal bouquets and stunning flowers for the tables. She coordinated extremely well with our other vendors and had wonderful suggestions at every step along the way. We highly recommend Toulies en Fleur!!!

The flowers for my wedding were perfect! I'm not flower person and didn't know exactly what I wanted so sharing my thoughts, and some Pinterest pins, we were able to come up with perfection. I gave them a budget and they were able to get me what I needed in that budget.

Jill created the most beautiful wedding flowers I have ever seen! We met her fairly early in the planning process and she immediately understood exactly what we wanted. We had a beautiful ballroom wedding, so we wanted to make sure the flower arrangements matched the elegance of the venue - and that’s exactly what we got! Although flowers can be very expensive, Jill didn’t want to rip us off at all. She gave us suggestions on how we could repurpose many of our flower arrangements between the ceremony and the reception so we weren’t spending a ton of extra money. For example, we repurposed the tall arrangements used in the ceremony and put them on some of the reception tables. We repurposed the garland used around the steps in our ceremony onto our sweetheart table at the reception. And we repurposed the bridesmaids bouquets to have them surround the wedding cake. We had the absolute greatest experience with Jill and her shop at Toulies. We would recommend her for any wedding or event in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area!

Before my wedding, I didn't know anything about flowers, and admittedly, I still don't, but luckily Jill and her team are experts. My wife and I wanted our wedding to feature a lot of greenery with bright florals, though we weren't set on a type of flower or even a color palette. Jill created our arrangement based on our vague descriptions, and well, the pictures speak for themselves. Aside from creating stunning arrangements, Jill was extremely friendly and fantastic to work with. We wanted to use my father-in-law's tallis for the chuppah, and Jill spent a lot of time working to make sure our chuppah was as special as the symbolism behind it. We took one of the arrangements home afterward, and the flowers were so fresh, they lasted for almost two weeks. We would absolutely work with Toulies en Fleur again. (Photos by Emily Clack.)

Jill from Toulies en Fleur worked with us for our wedding flowers. Though I'm biased, our flowers were amongst the most beautiful, lush, and luxurious that I've seen. My husband and I wanted a very clean aesthetic (pinks, whites) and Jill was able to make the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements. Her talent for arrangement goes without saying; she uses extremely nice quality flowers. The roses in our arrangements were all beautifully opened to perfection. She has a high standard for quality. She is also thoughtful in her email correspondence. She was flexible with certain requests that we had. Toulies en Fleur also provided us with candle decor both for the wedding ceremony and reception. Many of our guests took photos of just the centerpieces because they were so incredible!!!

Jill and her company Toulies en Fleur are the best! Her floral designs are works of art, her creativity is out of this world, and she is a lovely person. When I first met Jill, she did an incredible job of honing in on unique details of my wedding and then she got back to me with the most wonderful ideas. Her one of a kind ideas which she perfectly suited to my New Years Eve wedding involved a beautiful variety neutral wedding florals with hints of blush and antique roses, hints of gold (gold magnolia leaves – which were to die for), and floating candles. Jill bridged the gap between classic, modern, and romantic in the most stunning way. Prior to the big day, I had not seen all of Jill’s designs, I had only seen them described in writing, and nothing could have prepared me for how incredible they would actually be. I literally gasped when I saw the ceremony and reception décor on the big day. My bouquet (and my bridesmaids’) was out of this world!!! I never imagined I would have such a beautiful wedding and so much of the beauty was imagined and brought to life by Jill. Everything was like a fairytale. Guests went out of their way to let me know how beautiful the flowers were. On top of creating the most beautiful centerpieces and ever, Jill is also incredibly cost conscious which anyone planning a wedding can appreciate. In addition to offering an incredible value for the level of service offered, Jill will also provide you with the freshest flowers ever – my bouquet lived for a week after the wedding! Thank you for everything Jill and Toulies en Fleur!!!!!

Jill did a wonderful job designing floral arrangements for my wedding! I had a very specific design in mind for the ceremony, and she exceeded every expectation, even problem-solving to make sure she achieved my vision when certain limitations from the venue make it seem impossible. For the reception, I had a much less specific direction, and she asked clear, specific questions that helped identify designs that would be perfect for my wedding. She even suggested ways to repurpose flowers from the ceremony to reception to get the most out of each design! I also found that her designs were slightly under budget for what other florists had quoted, and her proposals included more pieces. Whether you have specific arrangements in mind, have no idea what you're looking for, or just want to find a florist that can create designs at a great price, I'd absolutely recommend Toulies!

If you are looking for a creative, up-to-date florist who makes your big day one of a kind stop right here! Jill is absolutely incredible. When for the first time I talked to her, she just asked me about my wedding theme colors and boom!!! She provided all the arrangement ideas and details about the flowers and design, which I loved them all. We loved working with her and she brought such a creative vision to the table. She is kind, professional, responsive, and her prices are definitely fair. She exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding day. Jill is AMAZING! We knew we wanted florals to be a huge part of our wedding and I had no doubt from the beginning that she would deliver. She exceeded our expectations and I still am in awe of how beautiful everything she created was. She was recommended to me by my planner after another florist blew our budget out of the water. Jill was the epitome of professionalism. She put up with my "I don't care about flowers/how simple can you make it" mentality and produced absolutely gorgeous, beautifully simple arrangements that made an already beautiful venue (Anderson House) pop! Jill at Toulies put the perfect finishing touch on our wedding. Jill was so great to work with, from beginning to end. I contacted her only 2 weeks before the wedding, and that was no problem! She was easy to get in touch with, asked great questions, and helped me to flesh out my vision. The flowers were gorgeous, and a great value! My only regret is that Jill wasn't the first person I called - but she was a referral from a friend and thank goodness. Make Toulies your first call and save yourself a lot of stress!

GORGEOUS FLOWERS! Jill is super friendly and easy to work with. I kept making little changes and additions throughout the process, and she was very accommodating. We had Jill create floral and candle decor for the wedding ceremony, candle and floral arrangements for our escort/name card table, tall centerpieces and a sweetheart table for the reception, and bouquets and boutonnieres. Our color scheme was white and soft pink. Everything came out so GORGEOUS and exactly matched (actually, it exceeded!!) what I had envisioned. Jill's team even created extra boutonnieres for us on the wedding day, after the groom made last minute additions to the bridal party. Her team did such a great job - I'm so happy with my decision.

Beautiful Flowers at Great Price!
We can’t say enough about the quality of flowers and service we received from Jill at Toulies En Fleur. The arrangements she provided were gorgeous and fit exactly into our vision. She did a great job of understanding what we wanted and the theme and tone of the wedding and picking arrangements to fit that them and tone. She picked out beautiful hobnail glassware and a mix of textures to fit in with the venue which was a mix of wood and stone and earthy colors. She met with us with samples so we could look through them and make sure we liked the look; of course we did!
She even had the good idea to create a flower background for our ceremony that took on our theme and was a very discrete but beautiful.
The flowers were of the utmost quality, and we received numerous compliments and many of the table arrangements were taken home by guests. We had to move around some of the table types (round versus square) at the last minute so our head table changed a little too, Jill took on the changes a few days before the wedding and re-shaped the arrangement at the head table with the extra flowers and made something just beautiful for us. Of course, all of this at no extra cost to us.
Everything arrived perfectly on time and it proper order. We literally didn’t even have to worry and think about it, it just arrived exactly when we needed it and looked just beautiful. Jill’s pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products and her professionalism. If you are looking for the highest quality flowers, professionalism, and service, look no further!

Jill of Toulies en Fleur did the flowers for my daughter's wedding in October. Exceptional..Exquisite...Elegant! I can find no better descriptors of Jill's floral creations. She created a breathtaking entry and alcove for my daughter's ceremony, and the reception table centerpieces were varied, artistic and dramatic, taking advantage of the rich color palette (purples, burgundy, deep pinks) and plant variety (to include ornate grasses and succulents) that the Fall affords. I also made a special request to incorporate Hawaiian protea flowers into the larger arrangements and my daughter's bridal bouquet since we lived many years on Oahu and Jill did not disappoint. I received so many compliments on the flowers and will go to no one else but Jill in the future. She is the consummate professional and a true artist.

Jill was the best decision we made for flowers. Her attention to detail was amazing. She truly has an eye for the most delicate and beautiful arrangements. I wanted a romantic and delicate look to the flowers and centerpieces, and I explained to her the coloring I was looking for, and she delivered the most incredible looking centerpieces. I couldnt have imagined more beautiful looking arrangements myself. She brought my dream to life, but also gave us a great deal, and was able to make it all fit into our budget. She was such a pleasure to work with every step of the way. If you want someone who pays attention to the little details of your wedding and has an eye for elegance and design then Jill is it!!!

I have known Jill professionally for many years and would never have even considered using anyone else for my wedding. She took my very particular vision and created the most gorgeous wedding flowers I have ever seen. I burst into tears upon seeing my bouquet for the first time - that is how magnificent it was.

Jill is a total professional, easy to work with and just an overall sweetheart. Some florists think that their vision is more important than what the customer wants. Jill listens to what you want and then makes it even better. She is also fantastic at working within all budgets.

I kind of want to keep her as my little secret but I think word has already gotten out, so I might as well add to the praise. LOVE LOVE LOVE her work!!

Jill created the most stunning fall flowers for my daughter's October 25th wedding. She was extremely responsive to her desire to have a fall colors but a little nontraditional, and incorporated some gorgeous deep purple calla lilies, and burgundies etc. to avoid a "fall harvest/pumpkins" look - it was so much more modern than that. She was a pleasure to work with.

Jill and Toulies en Fleur did an amazing job with the flowers for our daughter's wedding. The table arrangements, bouquets and chuppah were all magical. The flowers on the King's table looked like a fairy tale and the different arrangements on the dinner tables were spectacular. Our guests commented throughout the evening how beautiful everything looked. She coordinated with our wedding planner, Alex Pare of Cherry Blossom Events and the end product was breathtaking. I would highly recommend them for any event.

We worked with Jill of Toulies en Fleur for my bridal bouquet, our reception decor, our ceremony decor, and the wedding party bouquets. I had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted and Jill took my vague description of what I was looking for and provided the most stunningly beautiful decor I have ever seen. We wanted an arbor of sorts for our ceremony backdrop and she did a perfect job with winding white, greys, and pinks throughout the arbor to make a wonderful ceremony focal point. For the reception I wanted flowers that were soft colors but still suitable for early-fall. Jill came up with the perfect mix of flowers and succulents that added texture but still seemed soft. My bouquet was also an amazing mix of succulents and flowers and it was just perfect. I wish it could have lasted forever.

Jill came highly recommended by our planner, Lindsey Farrell of Kelley Cannon Events, and she and Lindsey worked amazingly well together putting together my vision for my wedding. Overall I could not have asked for a better florist, everything was so perfect and I would recommend her to anyone needing flowers for any event!

Jill Medawar of Toulies en Fleur handled all of our flower arrangements and bouquets for our wedding. She was recommended by our wedding planner and it was definitely one of the best decisions we made. My then-fiance and I knew we didn't want an overabundance of flowers at our wedding. Instead we wanted to keep it simple and classy. When I didn't know what kind of flowers I wanted, Jill was able to make great recommendations. Instead of doing centerpieces we did eucalyptus and willow down the center of the table as a runner (we did long tables) and candles on either side. Jill took our ideas and created the most beautiful reception room. She even had a few flowers as a centerpiece near where we sat and it looked amazing! Our bouquets were very colorful and went with my color theme perfectly. She was very patient with us when we wanted to make sure we stayed within budget. Overall, we are extremely happy with what Jill was able to create with her amazing talent!

We were extremely pleased with Jill and her team. She nailed our vision on the head.

She was very organized from our first meeting, was open to our ideas, added her own right-on-the-money ideas, and was happy to add new elements after we'd signed our contract. We were also very happy with the chuppah frame she provided.

Toulies en Fleur did an awesome job for our wedding!! Working with Jill was easy and she has lot of ideas and really enhanced my overall vision. We had 3 different arrangement for our dinner tables and each was equally impressive. Many of our guests commented on the flowers throughout the night and said how beautiful they were. Jill provided the most amazing flowers and stunning floral arrangements for my wedding. Her creations are classy, gorgeous and breath-taking. All my guests jaws dropped. But it isnt just the beautiful arrangements she does that are out of this world, it is her attention to detail - she even glued on tiny strips of thin blue velvet ribbon on paper cones full of rose petals that the guests were to use to shower on us. She has a sense of style that is unmatched. She found flowers that were my style, even contacting vendors form the southern hemisphere for shipping! Highly recommend using this florist

I met with several florists and only Jill understood what I wanted. She had also done work at the hotel and in the small room that we had reserved. As a result she understood the nuances of the room and was able to offer some great ideas. She used my pins on Pinterest to see what I liked and we were able to really fine tune everything very easily. The final product was just lovely...perfect in size, color and she created the overall effect we were looking to achieve. Everyone raved about the flowers and happily took them all home! Jill was a joy to work with throughout the process. I recommend her highly!

Jill simply did an amazing job on our wedding flowers. She is extremely talented, flexible, and a great listener. When I saw the end product on our wedding day, I felt that she had taken an exact snapshot of what I had in mind and replicated the image perfectly. The blooms were large and fresh, and our guests were simply blown away. Thank you!

Jill's work is simply stunning. Honestly she is beyond talented, beyond sweet, and the best anyone could ask for. I showed her couple of pictures to give her an idea of the colors I was looking for and she started showing me some relevant examples of arrangements and bridal bouquets that were exactly what I was looking for. The flowers were much better as I could have imagined. Well done Jill. Highly recommended.

When I saw the flowers, I was brought to tears. They were even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Jane Nudd came up with the concept. The execution was flawless, and when a hurricane interrupted our expected shipment, they still were able to reach out to other vendors, pull together a beautiful presentation and complete the job without any additional stress on my daughter. Great, creative, professional team.

Jill is so professional, so sweet and really made my wedding come to life. I don't know much about flowers, I simply just told her colors and a vague image I had and she blew it out of the water. She truly is beyond talented!

Toulies en Fleur did an absolutely beautiful job as my wedding florist. From the very beginning when I first met with Jill to go over my "wedding day vision", I knew I had picked the right florist. During our initial consultation meeting, Jill asked me numerous questions in order to get an exact sense of what I was looking for. She then e-mailed me a "vision board" to show me what ideas she had come up with, in order to assure she was on the right track of what I wanted. We then met at the reception site where she displayed several examples of her arrangements for me, in order to finalize the details.
Additionally, two days before my wedding, at the last minute, I asked Jill if she could incorporate a personal keepsake in my bouquet. Without hesitation she obtained the piece of jewelry from me and displayed the piece so beautifully within the bridal bouquet. It looked amazing!
On the day of the wedding, Jill personally delivered the (ladies') bouquets and corsages to my house and then the (mens') boutonnieres to the church.
Finally, when I walked into the reception hall after the wedding ceremony, the floral centerpieces took my breath away! They were absolutely stunning, and the room was gorgeous! Everything was BEAUTIFUL, right down to the floral petals she cascaded down and around the side of my wedding cake! Everything was a work of perfection!

Jill at Toulies en Fleur was fantastic! I worked in a flower shop when I was in high school, so I've always loved flowers. A friend highly recommended Toulies en Fleur to me, as she had used them for her wedding. Jill immediately responded to my request for information and agreed to meet me right near my office. She had some beautiful pictures of her work and was friendly and receptive to my ideas. I had a small picture to give her an idea of the colors I was looking for and she started showing me some relevant examples of arrangements and bridal bouquets that were exactly what I was looking for. I didn't hesitate to book with Toulies en Fleur and boy am I glad I did! The flowers came out absolutely perfect! Rarely do people comment on the flowers at the weddings I've been to but so many of my family and friends told me how beautiful they thought the flowers were. People are still commenting on them! I was thrilled with everything! And as a bonus, the flowers were much more reasonably priced than I had expected. I would highly, highly recommend Toulies en Fleur!

Jill was by far my best and favorite vendor. She was so easy to work with and offered so many great options to meet my vision while staying within my budget. All of our flowers - bouquets, boutonnieres, altar arrangements and centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous. Even the coordinator at our reception said they were the most beautiful arrangements they have seen yet at their venue. Jill is truly an expert and a talent!

Jill Medawar's work is simply stunning. The quality of her flowers, her rich and nuanced understanding of color and texture, and her artistry set her apart. Jill was reccomended to me by a friend who was having a destination wedding and was devistated she would not be able to use her. Well it was the best recomendation I had - she was amazing. I knew the colors I wanted but not the flowers, i wanted the beauty and history of my venue to coordinate with the flowers which she did perfectly. My bridesmaids were amazed that two weeks after the wedding their flowers were still alive. One of the best things Jill did was when she gave me my proposal she included a picture of each of the flowers she was going to use in the boquets and arrangements which helped me with the visual since I was not aware of some of the flowers. Loved her!

Jill is absolutely incredible! I lacked the creative bride gene, but thankfully I found Jill! I had no idea what I wanted for flowers. All I had was a venue and a bridesmaid's dress swatch. She helped shape the entire look and feel of my wedding. She had fantastically creative ideas that gave my wedding a truly unique look. I've gotten so many compliments on my floral arrangements. Jill, the genius behind Toulies en Fleur, was--and is--the dream florist. She is, in a word, AMAZING. I met her at the Washington wedding show, and three days later she still remembered me; when we met, she helped put my pretty much jumbled ideas of what I wanted into a concrete proposal that seriously read like she'd read my mind. Jill flies under the radar; she does a lot of big-ticket events in DC, and it shows in the caliber of her work. But more than quality, she's a presence. Jill was really and truly an integral part of my wedding planning team. She coordinated with my venue herself, and single-handedly arranged for my sample linens--linens she helped me to select--to be delivered to my tasting. She designed all of our place-cards, which were PERFECT, and was incredibly generous about finding little flourishes and extra touches that would make the venue look just spectacular, but still stayed in budget. I can't wait for more of my DC-area friends to get engaged; Jill is the first person I'll recommend.

Jill was such a joy to work with and really went above and beyond to carry out our vision. Her knowledge of flowers paired with her creativity and impeccable taste definitely made her stand out from other florists we met. On the day of the event all the floral arrangements were so fresh and gorgeous. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful and unique all the arrangements were- they definitely set the mood for the event! Jill blew me away with the flowers. Leading up to the wedding I was confident in her skill and assured that she knew what I wanted for the wedding. She was very helpful through the planning process. She listened to my ideas, and to what kind of flowers I liked and was able to suggest similar flowers that were less expensive. The day of the wedding I was more than pleased with the outcome. Everything looked wonderful - better than I could have ever imagined.

Best Wedding Decision!

Initially, when it came time to pick a florist, I didn’t think it mattered that much, especially after my husband and I postponed our wedding reception due to COVID. Boy, was I wrong! My bouquet and other flowers were absolutely stunning! The colors and textures were beyond what I could have imagined. My mom is a big flower person and was so pleased with how everything turned out. Jill, the owner, is so friendly and really transformed the little vision I provided into a beautiful reality. My ceremony was limited to just 6 people, so the rest of our friends and family only saw pictures from the day. The one thing they call commented on were just how gorgeous the flowers were. I can’t wait to have Toulies do my reception venue next year.

Gorgeous Flowers

Jill was wonderful to work with from the beginning. Like many people, I have no experience with this and was only able to give vague descriptions of what I thought I maybe wanted and she truly turned that into beautiful and unique floral arrangements. She is expensive, but even I could notice that she was at a different level than some of the other less expensive florists I met with, and I think her price was well worth it. I do wish I had asked to see my bouquet ahead of time (like you get to see an example of one of the centerpieces) because it wasn’t exactly as I imagined, but I think that was more due to imperfect communication on my part. Now that I have the photos back I can see how gorgeous all the arrangements were and how beautiful she made the ceremony and reception room. On top of all of that she is nice, very pleasant to work with and talk to, and very responsive. I would definitely work with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone.

The final product was exquisite, and Jill really made the table decorations look beautiful. The initial meeting was very nice and Jill really listened to what we wanted. She even found fabrics to match our decor. The only issue was at times I felt she was resistant to some of our ideas, either nixing them from the get go or not budging from her decor. Jill was more inclined to pick flowers that she liked or thought would look better and I did not have my favorite flowers in any of my arrangements or even my bouquet. I understood that some flowers had just finished their season, but she had at first suggested getting them from further north, but later did not deliver. So in the end even though the flowers were just beautiful, and everyone loved them, they were just a little off from what I wanted. Her resistance to my ideas was a little surprising as I thought if it was willing to pay and it was my wedding it should be more of what I wanted, not what she wanted. Dont be afraid to go with Jill because you will end up with a beautiful final product that she obviously worked very hard on, but do stick to your guns if it is something you really want.

I have to say that I was a bit skeptical after we had our consulting meeting. I felt like I had no idea what the florals were going to look like and I also felt like it was out of my hands. We just signed the document a bit blindly trusting our instincts and our planner (who had worked with them before). I can say that I was completely surprised by the outcome. Our florals were GORGEOUS - tables, bouquet, ceremony, etc. I was just blown away by it and was actually thankful that it was one thing I really didn't worry about. It was simply magical and beautiful all at the same time.

To put it simply, Jill's flowers for my wedding were absolutely stunning. When I first met her, I printed out a picture of a wedding that was at the country club I was having my wedding at and told her that I loved those centerpieces and décor. It turned out, she was the florist for the wedding. There were a few hiccups along the way. I will be the first to admit that I am impatient and wanted my vendors to respond to my emails and calls ASAP. I first met Jill a week before the holidays and didn't realize that I wouldn't get my quote until after the new year. I panicked a little because I really wanted her for my wedding. She also went on vacation 2 weeks right before my wedding and that was when my balance was due and I wanted to add some flowers. I panicked again for a couple of days when I didn't hear back from her. She told me the day of that she couldn't put out the aisle runner because the fabric is really expensive and couldn't cut it. She didn't realize that our ceremony was being set up in a certain way where the extra fabric couldn't be hidden. I also asked for her to make corsages and boutonnieres for my out of town guests. She ended up making boutonnieres for all of my family guests even though I had asked her to make corsages for the females. But in the end, everything worked out. All the guests raved about the flowers. The bouquets, centerpieces...everything was just beautiful. Jill also put up lanterns over the dance floor and she was able to pull it off despite the fact that I only told her a few days before the wedding that I wanted to add that.
