Impressive

I spent about 20 minutes with Mari the first day I met her. I was taking my dress in for the alterations. She had me change into my dress and then she bundled the dress up with her hands, to the point where I felt it fit most comfortable and that was it! No measuring, nothing. She said it would be done in 2 weeks. So, when I came back to get the dress, I tried it on again and it fit PERFECTLY! Like it was made for my body only.
I was completely amazed! Not to mention, highly impressed. She only used her hands to measure. That takes a lot of skill.
I very much so recommend Touch of Class Alterations.
I cannot wait to wear my dress!!

Overall, perfection

I love Mari! She was flexible to work with and very sweet. I was impressed with how fast she finished my dress too! I got it hemmed, bustled, and a push up bra sewn in and she managed to finish it in a week and a half! And it was beautifully done. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

Touch of Class Helped Make My Wedding Dress Dreams Come True!

Not only did Mari help me to tailor my dress for the perfect fit, but she also crafted new sleeves that perfectly captured my wedding vision. She was so kind and knowledgeable and made the whole experience very easy. From start to finish the whole process took less than a month. Any time before a wedding is valuable, so this was a huge blessing. I would definitely recommend Touch of Class to any bride.

Excited & happy bride to be

What a wonderful experience with Mary and Touch of Class Alterations. My best friend got married 7 years ago and I went with her to Mary for her alterations and I was beyond excited when I found out she was still altering dresses! Words cannot express how fantastic this whole experience was! From the start, Mary was super easy to communicate with and asked thoughtful questions to understand my needs. We went through a few fittings to complete my vision and it is everything I could have ever asked for! She even went the extra mile to fix up my buttons on the back at no charge :) I felt she genuinely cared about me and was excited for my big day with me! Only con was the total cost was a little out of my budget, but she made up for it with her quality service and talents! I will definitely go back for alterations in the future and would highly recommend her to any bride to be!

Amazing Experience

Went to Touch Of Class for my wedding dress to be hemmed and I couldn't be happier with the results! Scheduling was easy and convenient. Mari was great to work with, she was extremely responsive, kind, professional, and had a quick turn around time. She did an amazing job and the dress turned out beautiful. Mari was amazing and caring throughout the whole process. My dress was a little tight and she helped with the top button and did the best bustle for my long train! I hit traffic every time I went and she was very accommodating. Her work is exceptional!

Super budget friendly, which I appreciate, and a very nice lady. She is very kind and gives you extra tips for the wedding day to ensure your dress fits you the best way it could be. She is easy to communicate with, responsive to messages, and a joy of a person. If you try on your dress the final time and there is something on your dress that needs to be fixed, she fixes it right then and there. Thank you, Mari!

Excellent Seamstress

Wow! I was so nervous about finding someone to do alterations on my wedding dress because it involved cutting a big portion and moving it up in order to save an intricate detailed design while shortening the dress. Mary did an exquisite job. My dress looks so beautiful and fits perfectly. Not only is Mary a wonderful seamstress, she is extremely compassionate. Both of my parents are gravely ill, and we had to move up my wedding in the hopes they can both attend. Mary finished my dress a week early!! She is a wonderful person, and I highly recommend her.

Amazing and very professional!

I found Mari (Touch of Class Alterations) just by doing a Google search and she immediately took me in, there was no waiting. She was very kind, talkative, professional and most importantly very talented! My wedding dress only took 3 weeks to alter and her final work was absolutely flawless! I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing alterations for their wedding dress!

Toucgofclassalterations is the ONLY place I take my clothes to be altered.Mary always do a great job and make your dress look like it was MADE FOR YOU, it's worth the money! The best place!

This is the best place I've been! Mari was super friendly !! She knew exactly what she was doing and she did it just in time for the wedding. Everything was ready on time and it looked great! I'm very impressed

I needed my dress altered and everywhere else I called acted like I was inconvenience to them. I was so impressed that Mari responded immediately on a sunday and was able to ask all of the right questions and give me at least a rough estimate over the phone. She got me an appointment within days and in two weeks my dress was perfect!

I know that Mari does not repair men's clothes but I went with my fiancée to pick up her dress and my suit had to repair it and Mari was very kind to repair me I confess that I had my doubts because she told me that she did not work with mens clothing but when we came back I was impressed by the excellent work she did and the work he did with my girlfriend's dress was excellent, but I'm sure she will recommend it and of course I recommend it highly and, above all, for the Excellent prices.

Magnificent work and very profecional!

Had my wedding dress alterations done here? Mari made sure to spend as much time and attention as she could to make sure my dress was perfect for the wedding day. I could not be happier with the result of the dress, it was even more perfect than I ever imagined and I owe everything to Mari. Because we were requesting an urgent job in a very complex dress (all lace), just a month before my wedding I was a little worried that it would cost us a fortune, but she was incredibly reasonable and did not try to take us to give ride I really appreciate. I will definitely bring you all my future business and I will tell everyone I know to also go here. She really helped make my wedding day perfect!

On the recommendation of another client, I tried a cream dress that a previous seamstress had destroyed .Mary did impeccable work and impressed me.Their prices are fair, and they have done a nice job with my dress.

Excellent quality of work !!

5 stars - This is by far the best seamstress I have ever used. Excellent quality of work and excellent service! I brought my wedding dress here so that I stayed fit and made for the big day! Mari did a great job with my dress that needed to be removed. My dress was not easy to change, the skirt is about 10 layers of organza and lace and the bodice is lace. He got the perfect length and after two adjustment! all the alterations of my dress came out a little less than the quotations I got from other seamstresses. It all took three weeks, but if it had not been so demanding, I could definitely have done it all in two weeks!
I would recommend her with enthusiasm to anyone. Try them for yourself!

I had never used a seamstress before, but the process was good. I told Mari what I was looking for, the budget I had to spend and she guided me. You will not find a better seamstress in the valley at a very reasonable price.

Mari did an amazing job on my dress alterations! I had bought my dress at a local bridal discount store and the dress was a size 12 while I typically wear a 2 or 4. I also wanted to alter the dress from flutter sleeves to a much more simple straps and add a bustle. My dress was entirely lace. She made the dress fit like a glove and you could not even tell where she had hemmed and taken it in. Her prices were competitive, if not better than several others in the area. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for bridal alterations. Mari made me love my dress even more!

I procrastinated immensely with taking my dress to get altered. Luckily Mari was professional and reassuring. Not only did she alter my dress, but did it in a very timely manner. She had to shorten the length and take it out a lit on the bust. She also added a bustle and shortened my veil. It only took two fittings in less than two weeks. In a moment of panic, she comforted me like an old friend and make sure I was worry free. Not only was she professional, but the quality and VALUE beats every other alterations in Phoenix. She works out of her home, but is insured. I strongly recommend to make an appointment with her.

I notoriously procrastinate on everything I do. I got in touch with Mari three weeks before my wedding. I was a little nervous going to someone's home however, I am so glad I did. Mari was great and so easy to work with. My dress ended up not needing any alterations however she put a bustle on the dress for me which is something I hadn't even thought of. I would recommend Mari to anyone looking for alterations.

Mari at a Touch of Class Alterations was amazing!!! I found her by reading her previous reviews and was so impressed that I couldn't pass her up! I took my dress in and she made the necessary adjustments. Within two weeks she was done! I tried it on and if anything else needed to be tweaked, she did so. I was so happy and she was so sweet! I tried my dress on monthly after she was done with it and ONE WEEK before my wedding tried it on for the last time and I had lost weight from stress. I was freaking out, but emailed her on a Saturday night and she reaponded within 20 minutes and got me in on Monday! She made her adjustments and I picked up the dress on Thursday and it fit like a glove!!!! Her prices are better than anyone out there and her quality and professionalism is out of this world!!! Love her and would use her again in a heartbeat!

I was very pleased with Mari's services! I took my dress in after buying it off the rack, 3 sizes too big! Not once did she make me feel unsure or worried. She is confident in what she does and is very skilled. After about 4-5 appointments, my dress was complete! It was exactly like I had wanted and more. Very happy I chose Mari as my alterations seamstress, because I don't think anyone could have pulled it off as well as she did. It was worth the drive!

I made the best decision by bringing my dress to Mari, she was great! I needed quite a bit taken in on my dress, and I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg getting it done. Mari's prices were beyond great, and my alterations were done in 2 fittings. My FMIL found some pieces of the lace trim that had were not sewed down and so were sticking out a funny angle. Mari tightened them all up for me! My bridesmaids dresses were off the rack, so they needed varying degrees of alterations too. Mari was able to schedule and work with their schedules, and they got a great deal because I had my alterations done. I highly recommend her, I go to random events with my fiance for his job, and I will be bringing other dresses I needed altered to her! So glad to have found her!

Mari - I cannot explain just how AMAZING you are. I brought you a simple, pretty dress and you made it a breathtakingly beautiful dress. With it being a all-over lace dress with bead embellishments I was very nervous I wouldn't get what I wanted but she took everything I asked for and ran with it. We actually had a little moment of tears together when the final product was done. The edging after the hem was amazing - it was like I had bought the dress to fit me perfectly. Mari is accommodating, honest, very fast yet efficient and easy to work with. She is affordable and willing to work with you yet will not do something that she knows will not look 100%. I recommend her for ANY alteration, and I will be going back to her for even just a simple hem on jeans if she will take me! Thank you so much Mari - you made my dress a dream come true! :)

I found my custom dress completely by accident. I took my step-daughter to have a prom dress altered and found the most perfect wedding dress! It was meant to be - it had everything I wanted and was my size - I bought it right away. When I took it back for my final fitting - I had to not look at all of the other custom dresses displayed because I didn't want to change my mind. Mari does the most beautiful work. Mari is amazing!! I bought the dress of my dreams but it was 5 sizes tooo big! So I was terrified of how will it ever fit. My dress is very unique in the way it wraps the bodice in several directions. But then I found Mari! She was so amazing. It took just one fitting, about 15 mins a few pins and then I was back in 2 weeks to pick up my dress. She did such an amazing job. It fits like a glove. She also left some fabric in the bodice incase my daughter chooses to wear the dress. She did the same with the heming. Her prices are fantastic. I would not go anywhere else!! Mari was amazing!! I called her to get an estimate to alter my wedding gown, and she was BY FAR the best quote I received. I came by for my first fitting one evening and she was super friendly and immediately made me feel comfortable. I found Mari after searching different places online and calling them asking for prices and more often then not they were way too high for my budget. I called Mari and after meeting her, I'm glad I didn't go anywhere else. She works out of her home, so when you're there you are the only one her attention is on. She is very professional and was much more approachable than the women you meet in a bridal store. I actually needed more done to my dress than i thought and Mari quickly pointed it out. The dress was finished within the next week and when I went to try it on again I was speechless. It was like a completely different dress and i felt beyond beautiful in it. I paid only $230 for a hem, side tuck and bustle. I would HIGHLY recommend Mari and I will not be going to anyone else but her from now on.

Mari's work is purely magical!! I ordered my dress online and although it arrived and I was very happy with the quality it did need some extra tulle added to the skirt, and the bodice (with very heavy beading) needed to be taken in a little. Mari was so quick with her turnaround time! I ended up ordering a second dress for the reception about a month before the wedding and Mari had no problems taking this dress in also.
Not only did she alter both of my gowns, but she handmade my cathedral length veil with crystal beading along the edges. What would have cost $900 + retail, Mari created by hand for a fraction of the price.

She is incredibly reasonable and so attentive to detail with her work! I highly recommend Mari's services, her value cannot be beaten!

She did an amazing job with my wedding dress! It was several sizes too large and had a lot of intricate beading on it and she made it fit like a glove! When I went for my final fitting I went with my aunt and maid of honor and I wanted my dress hemmed just a little more. I purchased my dress from one of the "Big Chains" while living in Michigan. During my wedding planning I relocated to Arizona where I had issues getting the answers I needed from the chain store about altering my dress. When I received my dress in the mail it was a size to small and 6 inches too long, and I was worried it would not be able to be fixed because it was all lace. I looked up alterations on the internet and found touch of class, and I am so Happy that I did. I'm a bridesmaid in the wedding and the dress is very fancy (way fancier than my own wedding dress!). I had gotten it altered some place else, but then lost weight and the other place didn't feel comfortable taking it in based on the material and the wires in the dress. Mari was excellant!! She was very nice, polite, and professional. She was able to alter my dress for what I considered a reasonable price. I tried on the dress and she took the needed measurements and said everything would be done in 2 weeks time. I was in no hurry because my wedding is not until October, but she still said i could come back in 2 weeks and pick it up. When I went to pick up the dress, I got to take a look at her work and you would never know that the dress had been touched...even though i had about a foot and a half of material hemmed from the length. No easy task considering it is lace and had to be taken up at the waist rather than the bottom.

She does great work and I would definately go back to her again!

Mari is an amazing seamstress!!!!!! I highly recommend her services to anyone needing alterations.My dress looks amazing after her work. She had it done in less than week and it was a ball gown. Her rates are up to 70% less than any other shop. She is very professional and her work is just perfect!!!!!!

I ordered my wedding dress online, and it came way too big and with many discrepancies from what I thought I was ordering. Mari was able to restyle my dress to my specifications and fit it to perfection. She was enthusiastic, friendly, and affordable. Mari was excellent to work with! I felt very comfortable working with her and in her home. It was nice not going into a shop where I felt pressure to do something I wasn't sure of. I had the most wonderful experience with Mari at Touch of Class Alterations. From my first visit I felt comfortable with her and being able to tell her how I wanted my dress to fit the day of my wedding. I left my dress with her on a Saturday and scheduled my 2nd fitting for the following week. Well she did an amazing job! And I was able to take my dress home with me that day ! She is the best! I told my bridesmaids about her and that the drive is well worth it! Truly happy..

Mari was great..so friendly and very professional! Davids bridal wanted $90 to alter my bridesmaids dresses and I paid way less with Mari, her prices are fair and reasonable. She also altered my wedding dress at a great price.

Mari is thee only one I would EVER go to for alterations! She is Very sweet, professional, VERY affordable, and THEE BEST SEAMSTRESS IN THE WORLD!!! I had gotten my dress from Kaira's Bridal...HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!! My husband found Mari and called me from work and says "why don't you give her a call and see what she can do. So I did! Thank GOD for Mari!!!! I had bought my dress as an original size 10 dress. I needed a size 2. So Kaira's Bridal offered to alter it for me and said it would be no problem. Well, IT WAS A HUGE problem! They cut the fabric inside and if it weren't for Mari, I would have been looking for a dress 2 days before my wedding! She added a corset and re did my bussels and it was even more gorgeous than it was when I first saw it hanging on the rack!!!!!!! Mari is a GOD - sent from heaven! I owe her everything! If it hadn't been for her, I would have had to postpone my wedding until I found a new dress. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart, Mari!!!! ;) She also had fixed my mom's Maid of Honor dress that Kaira's Bridal had screwed up as well. It looked gorgeous!!!

Let me just say first - I LOVE THIS WOMAN! She is fantastic! I totally overlooked my dress alterations and waited until last minute (and when I say last minute, I mean a week before the wedding) to try on my dress. When I got my dress, I had lost 20 pounds, and 6 months later, I gained it back. I was also too short for the dress and didn't have a bustle. It was all the way in Anthem almost, but her work was worth it! She was so friendly and so genuinely interested in helping you have a wonderful day. She told me about the years she put in working for a wedding gown shop, showed me her other work of gowns she even made (which were all beautiful!), and got my dress done with a couple days to spare from the wedding. Her prices were very affordable for what I was asking (everyone else said it would be a rush fee). My husband loved the dress! She also was very responsive to my e-mails and would contact me in a couple hours of my e-mail. I love this woman, and if I were to do this wedding all over again, I wouldn't pick anyone else but her. Thank you, Mari! You are a life saver!

Mari was amazing!!!! I took my dress to her with 3 weeks to go before my wedding, and I even needed to have the dress taken out a little. Due to the detailing on my dress, I was beyond stressed that nothing could be done. Mari assured me that she could make it work, and it would be done in time for my big date. She even wanted to schedule my pick up a week later!!!
I felt so confident when I walked into her house and saw her dresses she designed. I thought, if she can make these, then Im in good hands! I also needed my reception dress hemmed. She was verify reasonable, and I would recommend her to anyone! Well worth the drive, its all freeway anyway!!!

Mari's alteration work is definitely worth the drive. She is always smiling and so excited to make your dress perfect. She strives to make her clients comfortable and happy and her experience shows in the quality of her work. I had about 6 things to do with my dress including making a flower to add to my birdcage veil from fabric of my dress, adding silk buttons to the back of my dress, removing tulle, hemline, etc. She was finished in 2 weeks and everything was perfect. She told me to come back 2-4 weeks before my wedding next year for any other alterations, rather than months in advance like other salons. Also, her prices are UNBEATABLE! Attention brides: Do not attempt to go anywhere else! Thank you so much, Mari!

Mari did such an amazing job altering my dress! I bought a sample gown size 12 and she was able to alter it down to a size 0! Mari was wonderful. My sister and I used her services to alter my wedding dress and my sister's bridesmaid dress. We met with her one Saturday and our dresses were ready the next Saturday. She is located a little way's away from me, but it was worth it.

Mari performed a work of magic and in such a short time frame, she made alterations to a sample dress I bought online, added a gorgeous lace up corset in place of a zip-up back which made the dress fit me and added a beautiful and unique touch to the dress. I love the online appointment setting. She is also very quick so as a busy bride you can get other things done and not have to worry about your dress.
