My Daughters December Wedding
I would highly recommend using Total Events for your special event. Melissa and her team were incredibly professional, detail oriented, easy to work with and had everything I was looking for…right down to Christmas trees, fur blankets and couch pillows!
The teams expertise steered me to how to best utilize our budget to create the atmosphere we were looking for., warm, cozy and elegant. I came in with a vision and they brought it to life! I also have to mention the patience they had for the crazy MOB that kept adding things as the wedding got closer. I always felt like ours was the only event they had, even though it was an extremely busy time for them. Every phone call or email was responded to very quickly! From the first time I stepped into the showroom, I knew I was in the right place. The best of the best in every way!

Exceptional Service and Budget-Friendly
Total Events was the most budget-friendly option for our venue, and they created the most beautifully-decorated space for our big day! We worked with Michelle Mora Johnson, who was beyond friendly and helpful. She took the time to answer a million calls/emails and really helped to put our minds at ease during the difficult planning stages. Our wedding was on a Friday, and Total Events also offered us an additional discount because the Saturday couple at the same venue was also using their services. The only complaint we had was that the chandeliers used cool-tone bulbs when we requested warm, bistro-style lights, so we ended up having to turn them off. Other than that, Total Events did an exceptional job and we absolutely recommend them! -

The Dream Team for Any Sagamore Wedding!
Where to even begin! When we first started planning our wedding at The Sagamore, I reached out to past brides for advice — and every single one said the same thing: “If there’s one vendor you absolutely have to hire, it’s Total Events.” They couldn’t have been more right!
Michelle was an absolute dream to work with. She was quick, knowledgeable about both the venue and their incredible inventory, and truly helped us bring our vision to life. From our Friday welcome party, to the reception, and even our after party - complete with a casino package (tables and dealers included!) that my family still can’t stop talking about.
When the forecast for our welcome party turned unexpectedly chilly, Michelle immediately jumped into action that morning, tracking down the last remaining space heaters and getting them onto the delivery van just in time for setup. That level of responsiveness and care is what sets Total Events apart.
We were so lucky to have them as partners in our wedding weekend. If we ever host another event, there’s no question Total Events is the team we’ll call first. -

Amazing Wedding Rentals
We rented natural wood willow chairs, French toile willow green tablecloths, and a black and white dance floor for our wedding, and everything was perfect. The rentals truly helped bring our reception vision to life and made the space absolutely beautiful.
The planning process was super easy, and Michelle was amazing to work with. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made everything feel effortless from start to finish.
All of the rental items arrived in excellent condition and looked stunning in person. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Highly recommend! -

We used Total events for tent draping for our wedding and they were unbelievable from start to finish. They were responsive, organized, efficient, and their work is simply incredible. Our tent was more beautiful than we could have imagined. We would 10/10 hire them again! -

Great Experience with Total Events!
We recently had the pleasure of working with Total Events, LLC for our wedding, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, they were professional, helpful, and they even SAVED us money by allowing us to split costs with other weddings at our venue the same weekend!!
Everything arrived on time, in excellent condition, and was exactly as expected. They made sure we had everything we needed to create the perfect atmosphere for our big day.

Created an absolutely beautiful, tented backyard wedding for our daughter
As soon as I spoke with Michelle and Dave I felt supported and sure they would work to make our vision a reality. We were hosting our daughter’s wedding on our property and had 2 separate areas we needed to decorate. The reception was to be held in the backyard. Dave came out 4 times measuring and problem solving with us to assure our septic and propane would be safe from staking. Michelle was always prompt in her communication and making changes as they arose, she even communicated with our caterer to assure they had all they needed. The tent and front of the barn were decorated beautifully! Michelle and Dave (and his small army of helpers) really out-did themselves. We highly recommend Total Events! -

Beautiful Early September Wedding
It was a pleasure working with Total Events while planning our daughter’s wedding at Anne’s Washington Inn. Joell was extremely helpful throughout the planning process. We had a somewhat compressed planning schedule compared to many weddings, and had to make commitments before some of our plans were fully known. Many decisions evolved, such as how many tables, size of tables, size of stage, etc., as time went by. Total events was as flexible as anyone could imagine; happy to add, or subtract, as we went along. In the end, everything was as promised, was on time, and just plain “easy“ with them. A lot of our interactions were online due to planning from a distance, but in all of our interactions, Joell and her staff were unfailingly helpful and supportive.

Where do I start? Our fairytale rehearsal dinner and wedding was brought to life by the incredible team at Total Events. Great Rentals! Helped extend the party every night!
We used Total Events for our sweetheart couch and for outdoor lights at Glen Sanders Mansion. The outdoor bistro lights made our welcome party romantic and able to be hosted during sunset and we had the lights up the next night for the wedding as well! It was amazing!-

Total Events is excellent at what they do! The delivery was right on time and the delivery team was wonderful / very pleasant and were not the least bit bothered when we had to move the ceremony indoors last minute due to weather. And they did a beautiful job setting up inside the venue as well. All the planning ahead of time with Samantha Williams was great! Highly recommended!! -

A perfect day!!
The owners of Total Events and all of their staff are second to none! If you need rentals for an event they are there to help from start to finish. Our wedding day vision evolved a lot throughout the planning process and they were there to help us make decisions and find the right style for us. They worked seamlessly with our entire vendor team and have connections with so many other great vendors. I can’t describe how amazing it felt to walk into my wedding, both the ceremony and the reception, and see my vision come to life exactly the way I pictured it. Total events went above and beyond to make sure our reception decor was cohesive and had all the subtle details I was looking for. We couldn’t have pulled it off without their help!! Joell from Total Events made our already beautiful venue look absolutely incredible. During what seemed like the busiest year in the events industry, she made the process so easy. We trusted her confidence and experience and knew that she would take care of us so that everything would look perfect. Chair rental, highly recommend!
Team was great to work with, specifically Joell! Went back and forth on the color of the chairs, but with the help of the expert team, the decision process was super easy! Payments were easy to make. Company worked with my venue to make sure everything was done for the day of and that we did not have to worry about anything! Many different rentals were available including tablecloths, chargers, centerpieces, etc. Highly recommend for many different reasons (only used the chairs but other options were plentiful and beautiful). Book rentals with them! -

Stress Free Rentals
We hired Total Events to assist us in our supply needs for our wedding in Saratoga Springs in August. When first thinking about supplies we would need, like centerpieces and linens, we weren't sure how we could afford purchasing all the supplies ourselves and all the work that would be involved. Total Events made it easy to decide on renting materials instead, and to assist in picking items that would go with our venue (of which they had rented supplies to before). Knowing that they also supply the staff to set up and break down equipment was helpful, as I didn't want to pass off any of these tasks to friends or family- after a strenuous year with the pandemic, I wanted to make sure friends and family were spending time together rather than these tasks.
While some items and services can be a bit more than what I would want to pay, Total Events' work made the price worth it by taking on all aspects of providing, setting up, taking down, and storing the supplies. Their inventory shows a variety of looks as well and seem suitable for just about any type of event theme. We ended up utilizing Total Events for ceremony chairs, reception chairs, centerpieces, linens, kitchen supplies, guest reception supplies (like plates, flatware, glasses, etc.), centerpieces, and bar supplies. Sine our caterer has worked with Total Events before, the whole process was seamless and the day went very smoothly.
In all, we are thrilled with Total Events services, and would hire them again in a second. They took the stress out of the whole day and made sure that we had everything we needed from the start of the day until the send off. We highly recommend them for any wedding or big event in the area! -

Joell is the best !!!!! I was recommended by our florist - Jess at farmhouse floral to use total events llc and ask for Joell !! We were so lucky that she was available to work with us ! She goes above and beyond to make sure that your vision/dream become a reality!! She and the entire company are so talented and really make sure you are happy with all of your Decisions… she’s so good I was able to pick my linens over FaceTime ! Haha ! I recommend anyone and everyone to use this company for all of your tent, decor and rental needs !! If i ever have another party upstate NY i will be calling them back to create another magical experience!!-

Began working with Tommie & she moved on from the role with the company, Melissa then stepped in & it was amazing. Seamless. From late add on's to the contract and my countless Qs, the team was so very helpful. They have such a wide array of products, you will literally find whatever you think you need. Wedding Dreams Come True with Total Events!!
Melissa, Rich and their ENTIRE TEAM helped make our "Wedding Dreams Come True" for our July 4th Wedding!!! Our Tent, Chairs, Lights and many other items they provided were so BEAUTIFUL!! They are the hardest working people in the Wedding Industry!! They literally set-up our Wedding Tent in the MIDDLE OF A TORNADO!! Yes, during a Tornado which touched down nearby as they were getting the tent up. WOW!! Their service can't be beat. I have worked with them for several events and the are hands down THE BEST!!! From the Day 1, Total Events was very easy to work with and replied to emails/phone calls very quickly. They provided design ideas and assisted with floor plan layouts. Our wedding was postponed due to COVID and we had to switch dates, location, and rental needs on the fly and they were very flexible and accommodating. The staff and design team were incredibly enthusiastic and without them our day would not have been as perfect.-

We used this company for every little detail of our wedding this month. Not only were they patient as we planned and re-planned through COVID this year but they answered any and all questions I had, offered advice on planning/styling/setup, and came through in a pinch as the weather changed. I cannot thank Total Events enough for helping us turn our wedding vision into reality. Due to COVID, we faced disappointment after disappointment. We didn't think our wedding was going to happen with the money we had left.
A friend recommended we call total events and I am so glad we did. Tommie was responsive, flexible, kind, professional and just a pleasure to work with. She never made me feel like a bother and always made me feel like our wedding was her priority. Tommie completely redefined the phrase "backyard wedding." Our wedding was elegant and breathtaking. I forgot I was in my mom's backyard!

My son and his fiancé made a last minute change in their wedding venue—going from a formal indoor ballroom style to a picnic type outdoor setting. I called Melissa and within a few hours, she and Joell developed a very creative plan that was elegant, but not overpowering for the type of setting we had to work with. Not only are they pros at the type of decorating they do, but they also worked with me to stay within my budget. When it looked like it would rain the day of the event, they did an emergency FaceTime
Call with me to walk me in off the ledge and to help with a Plan B for rain! Luckily we didn’t need it—but it felt so
Much better to have it!

My wedding has so many changes due to COVID and all of total events team members were quick to pivot and respond with solutions. I would absolutely rehire the team. Drop off and pick up was on time and so professional. The venue decor was also amazing. My guests were blown away! -

HIGHLY recommend Total Events!
Total Events provided some key decor elements (lanterns, which we used as centerpieces) as well as drapery at the National Museum of Dance. I worked directly with Rachel, who was awesome - she was responsive, patient, and solution oriented as she answered all of my questions. I wanted to do some unique drapery at the museum, and it didn't phase Total Events at all - Rachel quickly mocked up a drawing of what it might look like, and assured me that it was possible and it would look beautiful. Those touches really warmed up the interior of the NMD, where we had both our ceremony and reception. All of the decor items really made the already beautiful venue even more beautiful! -

Made our vision come to reality!
We originally planned a large 400 person South Asian wedding in Albany for August 2020. We hired Total Events to initially create unique, modern decor elements for our venue to supplement our traditional South Asian decor (from another vendor). Due to the pandemic, we down-scaled our wedding to a 50 person wedding in my parent's backyard and hired Total Events for the full decor and rentals, including tent, flooring, tables, chairs, linens, and mandap design. Despite the last-minute changes and short time-frame, Total Events went above and beyond to make our dream wedding vision come true. They were flexible and really worked with us to fully understand our vision to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. Their set up was also timely and neat and their team was very professional. We have recommended them to our other South Asian friends for their weddings! Thank you so much Melissa and Rich!!!-

Helped make the venue look special
Our daughter's wedding was at the Hall of Springs. Total Events transformed that large space for the ceremony, then reception in such a beautiful way. The office was always responsive and helped us make decisions on drape colors and placement. Highly recommend. -
