Wedding DJ
Kris and his team were wonderful to work with! His prices are very reasonable and he's super flexible! He gave us plenty of options for family introductions, and even made last minute changes when we forgot to pick a song for the wedding party entrance. He played guitar for our ceremony which was beautiful. Our guests were not up for much dancing, but Kris did all he could to get people on the dance floor.....the kids danced all night. You definitely won't regret hiring TopShelf Entertainment! -

The best dj
Kris and his assistant Brandi did an exceptional job DJing at our wedding. Kris played acoustic guitar and performed throughout the cocktail hour, then DJ'd for our reception. He kept the party going throughout the evening and had everyone out on the dancefloor. He did a wonderful job "reading the room" and played music that appealed to everyone's taste with a great variety throughout the evening. Many people complimented me on how great our DJ was, and I would highly recommend hiring him for your wedding! -

Kris and his crew saved our wedding!!
You need to hire him!!! If I could give 100 stars I would. Kris and his team saved our wedding night.
After our venue was unprepared for a power outage with no gasoline in their generators the topshelf team improvised and kept the party going for nearly an hour while we waited. They kept my guests entertained and treated everybody with the upmost respect. My wedding would have gone much differently if he had not been there.
As soon as the power went out, Kris jumped on his guitar to play live music playing for the guests. He was incredibly prepared with a powered battery amp and were able to start playing music well before the generators kicked on. Aside from being amazing under pressure. He was also a phenomenal MC. The introductions he did were lively and literally got the crowd going. I cannot recommend him enough. Also the photo booth that we used was a huge hit! Everyone had a great time and every single time I saw one of my guests in the booth they were laughing and having the best time. The photo booth attendant was particularly amazing. Every single one of my guest made a point to complement him. He jumped in and did what he could do to make sure every single one of my guests felt welcomed and accommodated too especially during a power outage. Thank you top shelf entertainment! -

Amazing job!
Topshelf Entertainment was great to work with! They got back to all our emails very quickly and we’re very accommodating. They had our guests dancing the whole night and did an awesome job!! Kris played acoustic guitar during dinner which was amazing and very memorable! -

Life of the Party!
AMAZING! Hire Topshelf ASAP - you won’t be disappointed!
Top shelf did an unbelievable job!! From start to finish, Kris and his team made everything as easy as possible. They delivered on all our requests, and even had great suggestions. They also worked with us when the pandemic changed our wedding 3 times, and it was honestly worth the wait. Topshelf was a key contributor to making our wedding the best day of our lives. From top notch dj skills that had every person on the dance floor, accompanied by acoustics during the ceremony, singing and acoustics during cocktail hour and dinner, the organization of events by his team, and the open air photo booth, Topshelf really tied the whole wedding together. They went above and beyond to make our day amazing. This is a great company and even has better people behind it. We’d choose Topshelf over and over again and already recommended them to our friends. Thanks!!
(PS: All of our guests were in awe when they realized that one person was the ceremony guitarist, the singer at cocktail hour and dinner, and the DJ at our reception. He’s the total wedding package!) -

Great experience!
Kris was so nice and helpful and helped make our wedding day amazing. He played acoustic during the ceremony which was beyond incredible. He also played acoustic during cocktail hour and dinner... then started the party afterwards. Everyone had so much fun dancing. Prior to planning, Kris was very responsive whenever I had any questions or concerns. Would use again for sure! -

Guests Are Still Talking!
Kris was absolutely phenomenal. He read the room, and knew what to play and when to play it. The best part, by far, was the acoustic music he played during the ceremony and the dinner hour-guests are still talking about how beautiful it was!
We got a questionnaire to send in 2 weeks before the wedding. My one request was to only play ONE line dance song, as my husband and I think they’re cheesy.
He played the one at our wedding, in the beginning, and then ran over to me and asked if he could play another one because it got everyone to the dance floor. Yes, he asked! Didn’t just do it! I cannot recommend Kris enough for any DJ needs -

Topshelf Entertainment for sure!
We recently had Topshelf Entertainment for both our ceremony and reception. The live acoustic guitar was our first draw to them. IT WAS FABULOUS! We had the live guitar for our outdoor ceremony and then again for our dinner. They brought an absolute blast for our dancing portion. They had everyone in attendance dancing and having a great time. Of all of the compliments on our day, our entertainment was definetely the most mentioned. If you are looking for a professional and truly perfect entertainment CALL TOPSHELF ENTERTAINMENT. Thrilled with their work
Topshelf entertainment absolutely lives up to their name, they are top notch! Kris and his helper Brandy made our wedding day go off without a hitch! Kris was outstanding to work with! I was very impressed by how quickly he responded to every question we had. He also offered advice that one can only provide after years of experience. At the ceremony, his acoustic guitar was beyond my expectations. I honestly wasn’t sure that it was something I wanted when i booked it, but I was so glad I did. We got many compliments on how beautiful it was! At the reception, he got the party going and kept it going until the very last song. Thanks, Kris! -

We cannot say enough good things about TopShelf Entertainment! Not only is he an amazing DJ, but he is an incredible guitar player! He played beautifully for both our ceremony and through dinner, and did so in a way that did not distract from the wedding itself. He was responsive throughout all of our planning, and handled all of our music and entertainment needs so we didn't have worry about a thing. He also brought with him a wonderful woman who coordinated all aspects of the wedding for us, ensuring that our entrances were done right, all of our dances and events occurred on time, and coordinated with our caterer and bartender to ensure that the food and bar was ready on time. All that, and for an INCREDIBLY reasonable price. You won't be sorry if you choose TopShelf! Thank you so much for making our wedding special! -

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ service for our wedding day. Kris was exceptional. We had Top Shelf Entertainment as our wedding dj. We would highly recommend Top Shelf for any event they were amazing and very professional. Kris and his assistant are very easy to work with, and very fun. He knows how to get your guest out of their chairs and on the dance floor. I cannot say enough how awesome Kris and his assistant are! From the beginning it was an easy process as far as booking, doing the deposit, and staying in touch. He did two of my cousins' weddings and then ours last October. The guitar playing through dinner was something everyone loved. Then, he really kept the vibe of the party going with the music and taking requests! They honestly helped run the show from beginning to end. I would recommend them to anyone! Topshelf Entertainment has provided DJ service for our graduation parties, a high school reunion and my sister's wedding. I'm also certain if we need a DJ in the future, Kris will be the one we call! Love love love!! When it comes to a DJ- live music. TopShelf Entertainment lives up to their name!!!! Top Shelf all the way! I used them for our wedding , and since have recommended them for three other weddings , all of which picked them! Looking at it from both sides, as a bride and guest , they rock it! Not only is Kris Sheridan one of the most gifted guitarist that will give your wedding /occasion beyond class, he really knows how to get the party started. His ability to read the crowd is uncanny. Kris was both our wedding DJ and our musician for the ceremony. He played acoustic guitar for the procession and it was absolutely perfect. Kris has a talent for picking the right songs to match the occasion and the ceremony was no exception. During cocktail hour and dinner, he also played acoustic (a huge hit with our guests!) and chose songs my now-husband and I loved. Once the party got started, he played songs to get us dancing - there was never a dull moment or a lull. But what I loved most about TopShelf Entertainment was the care and attentiveness that was put into the occasion. I never worried about a thing and the day flowed perfectly. Kris and his team were so responsive to us and everything went so smoothly. Our guests loved the DJ and we keep getting compliments on how much they loved the music of the day! I definitely recommend TopShelf Entertainment for any event! -

Topshelf Entertainment was great for our every need. Kris Sheridan is the owner and was super professional helpful and experienced at every aspect of our day. Topshelf Entertainment provided entertainment for both our outdoor ceremony and reception. We were from out of town and basically left everything up to them. They were PERFECT. The acoustic guitar for our ceremony was beautiful. It provided the perfect atmosphere for our outdoor setting. They handled and timed everything perfectly for our reception. The music was a great mix that kept the dance floor hoppin all night. Topshelf Entertainment truly made our night perfect. -

Just a huge thank you to Topshelf Entertainment for a spectacular day! They were referred to us by a few friends that had already used them for their weddings so we knew that we were in great hands. The mix of music throughout the entire night was perfect. They kept everyone moving and having a good time. The guitar music was just superb. We had Topshelf Entertainment for both our ceremony and reception. The live guitar music for the ceremony was absolutely beautiful! We didnt have many specific requests for the reception music and left it up to them. It was a perfect mix of new and classic songs that kept everyone dancing and having a great time. We were referred to Topshelf Entertainment by our venue. From our first meeting with Kris I knew that we were in good hands. He was very easy going and also very accomodating to all of our concerns and requests. He assured us that everything involving their services would be handled by them. They kept us in perfect time throughout the entire evening. The live guitar music was just beautiful for both our ceremony and reception. We asked Kris if he would be able to play the guitar in church for our ceremony and he worked it into his schedule and it was so beautiful. Everyone commented on the guitar playing. We had a great time at our reception with nothing but fun music all night long. They played everything from new radio dance music to polkas for our grandparents. I took the time to write this review because they are well deserving of it. Topshelf Entertainment is certainly Topshelf! -

We recently celebrated our wedding day and hired Topshelf Entertainment for our music services. Lets start by saying they were great from our first meeting to our last dance of our reception. We met with Kris the owner to go over specific details and to get some information about his services. He is really easy going and great to work with. He basically explained that his goal was to assure that everyone had a great time and he DID make sure of that. He played live acoustic guitar for our dinner and it was beautiful. We had so many compliments about it. They played a great mix of music and really did keep everyone dancing and having a great time throughout the entire evening.
Our biggest concern about our reception was hiring the right entertainment to provide a good time for everyone. Topshelf Entertainment did just that! Thank you Kris and the Topshelf staff for a great time at our wedding! Hope to see you again ! -

We recently had Topshelf Entertainment provide the music for our ceremony and wedding reception. They came highly recommended by a few different sources. One was our catering facility and another was our photographer. They both said that Topshelf did a great job and indeed they were correct!! We met with Kris prior to our date to go over all of the details and I must say he was very easy going and made us both feel very comfortable about the whole music aspect of our reception. Let’s start with the live guitar music , it is fabulous. Kris played for both our indoor ceremony and for dinner. We had so many compliments on this portion that it truly may have been one of the highlights of the whole entire evening in the eyes of our guests. Kris told us that the live music really goes over well and it sure did. The dancing part of our night was nonstop from the end of dinner to the very last dance. Basically everyone was out dancing and having a great time and that was exactly what we wanted to see. They had a great working relationship with both the facility and our photographer and it made everything just fall together perfectly. We had no need for any questions because they always had us where we needed to be. Back to the live music, my one request was that at some point my uncle could sing a song that has become tradition in our family parties. Not only was this able to happen, Kris actually played the song live on his guitar and it was great! By the time the song ended I think most of the room was participating in the singing! We ended the night the same way that we end all family parties and that meant the world to me. I did not know Topshelf prior to my wedding but I sure do now! I will refer anyone looking for a great time to them because that’s exactly what we got!! We recently had Topshelf Entertainment at both our ceremony and wedding reception. They provided live guitar music for our ceremony and it was fabulous. It gave the perfect touch of atmosphere that we wanted for our small ceremony. Our reception was over the top fun. Topshelf Entertainment kept our guests dancing all night long and kept us informed at all times throughout the night about the timeframe of the evening. We were actually referred to them by both our catering facility and our photographer. having two other professionals recommend Topshelf made us very comfortable with our choice. They were CORRECT!! Topshelf Entertainment was truly Topshelf and helped to make our day perfect! -

We used Topshelf Entertainment for our wedding reception. They provided live guitar music for our outdoor ceremony which we loved. They kept everything in perfect order throughout the night. They played a perfect mix of music for our crowd . We would certainly recommend Topshelf Entertainment and have. Our friends have booked them for an upcoming wedding too. -

My fiance and I hired Top Shelf Entertainment to be out DJ after he had come recommended by our reception venue. He sent us a papers to fill out indicating our likes and dislikes in music. I'm not sure why he included those portions in the paperwork, because he seemed to totally ignore most of our requests. We wanted Sinatra, Big Band hits, but instead were met with crazy music that was played extremely loud. We had to request twice for him to turn down the volume and tempo. I believe many of our guests left due to the music. Although the acoustic guitar was great, that was about the only good part of his services. -

We were really disappointed with our DJ service. He did show up on time, however during the dinner hour did not play ANY of the songs we requested. We had many older guests and had requested standards, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin etc. Instead, we were treated to hits of the 70's. Play that Funky Music White Boy! REALLY?Worst part of our daughters wedding. -

When we contacted Kris at Top Shelf Entertainment, we had a very specific set of requirements that we knew some DJs have trouble meeting. Kris assured us he'd have no trouble with those constraints. Our first impressions of Kris were encouraging, but it seemed like as soon as we sent our deposit in, he became the most difficult person in the world to reach.
Nonetheless, we went forward because a few folks told us he was great, and we'd already paid the deposit.
On our wedding day, we were happy enough with Kris playing our ceremony on his guitar, though he had previously nixed the idea of us choosing specific songs. He had told us he only did traditional music for the ceremony, so we were mildly surprised to be stepping away from the altar, arm in arm, as he played Green Day.
Our real gripes with Top Shelf began in the reception room. He referred to two different members of the bridal party as the Best Man when we were announced, he ignored most of must-play songs, played one song that was on our no-play list and forgot the mother-son dance until later in the evening when many people had already started leaving and my mother was already too tired to dance. I guess he must have something else on his mind, or at least that's what several of our guests with a view of the DJ booth suggested.
Overall, I'd give him passing marks as a guitarist, but a complete thumbs down as DJ. -
