Top Notch was very affordable when I went to pick out linens for our wedding reception. They were very easy to work with and dropped off the linens the day of the wedding at my venue. My mother-in-law took our linens back Monday morning since we had only reserved our venue space for Friday and Saturday. I would highly recommend them to spruce up any party tables!Sent on 07/26/2016

Top Notch always goes above and beyond whenever I have an event. I've used them for birthday parties and church festivals, so I had no doubt that they would be the very best people to go to for my wedding. I got a very large 40x120 tent with drapes, along with tables, chairs, and linens. The best part is that I didn't have to lift a finger for it all to come together. The tent was clean. The chairs and cushions were comfortable and attractive. The Cinderella table for the bridal party was beautiful. I didn't have to worry about anything. Top Notch Events & Rentals's reply:We are so sorry you where displeased with the service.We cannot control the weather.We offer a after-hours service (the numbers are on the contract) for our client if problems occur.Our clients are very personal to us, and we refunded you a percentage also.We spoke to the venue and they also said that it did not seem to big a big issue.There was plenty of time to call us at the moment of problems and we would have been there within 20 minutes.I am so sorry you feel this way.

The draping wasn't what was expected or discussed, but the bride's cake table and our table were both really beautiful, although the lights under the tables didn't change colors as discussed, as well. Plus they were later getting things set up than they should've been. They were supposed to have the draping set up the day before, which didn't happen, so that put them behind the day of the wedding. So that added extra stress for all of us as guests were beginning to show up while they were rushing to get things finished. Just didn't need to happen that way. That's why we paid someone to take care of these details, so we wouldn't have to worry about it, but just didn't work out that way. Sorry for this review, but I just didn't get near what I paid for!! But Lyndsey was nice to work with, just disappointed with everything else.Sent on 10/08/2014

We were pretty unhappy with Top Notch during our wedding. They were very unresponsive whenever we would try to contact them on the phone. It seemed that the person answering the phone never knew what to do and always had to talk to the owner, who was never available. I rarely got the promised returned phone calls. They wouldn't even call me back the week of our wedding when I was trying to pay the remainder of our bill that was due! When we arrived to our venue on Friday, we found out that one of the 5 farm tables we had requested for our rehearsal dinner that night had arrived completely broken and useless. Our venue owner had to get on the phone with them and demand that they return with another table, which arrived about half an hour before the rehearsal started, and it was also broken. By the end of the night, it had completely collapsed. I suppose that wouldn't have been a problem if we weren't planning to use them for the wedding the next day, but we were. We also requested misting fans which we never received. Overall, just really poor communication and poor quality.Sent on 09/07/2016

Regrettably, I was very disappointed in the lack of professional guidance and foresight that the company provided concerning the setup for my event on 1/20/19 at Vulcan Park and Museum. First and foremost, the tent was not placed the way we discussed previously. After the initial discussion and sending a detailed floorplan to Top Notch, I arrived to find the tent's short side positioned parallel to the Vulcan statue. Due to this error and Top Notch’s worker's unwillingness to help change it, a domino effect of massive changes that would ultimately have me working to change the entire floor plan two hours prior to the beginning of my own event – including moving tables, chairs, and other equipment around. The worker did not help with the changes in the floorplan. I even asked the worker if he could get some more sidewall for the other tent. He told me he would and never did.
To compound the poor set up experience, the tent would not stay warm after being guaranteed that the heaters "would keep the tent very warm and we did not need any more heaters." I think that may have been the case if 1) both heaters worked the entire time and 2) the bottom of the tent would have been secured so the wind would not make them flap. A company that claims to have set up hundreds of events did not even ensure basic set up was accomplished. Due to the temperature inside the tent, the band refused to play. We had to wait nearly an hour before a repairperson arrived to fix the heater. Around 7:00 PM, the band resumed playing.
I have not ever had an experience so horrible and on the day of my wedding reception makes this exponentially worse. As I know mistakes happen, I feel much of these could have been avoided had I been given the correct guidance and Top Notch did their job of securing the tent properly (as well as supplying working heaters). Being unfamiliar with event planning in general and the previous events held at Vulcan, I feel that Top Notch should have provided any additional information to clients to make sure the event would run as smoothly as possible. In addition, I would like to point out I have exhausted every action I could prior to posting this review. I always try to work out differences in a private setting as opposed to in a public forum. Unfortunately, Top Notch was not interested in working things out and felt they were completely absolved from any blame. This company is amateur and unprofessional – pay a little extra and use a company that knows how to properly set up for events.
