My husband and I met Troy at a bridal expo and he was so kind! He explained all the different packages they off for DJ services to be sure every couple has everything they could possibly need to make your wedding day go perfectly! They also offer an online portal to make the planning process so much easier and customized to your big day! Troy is so kind and personable and always made sure to answer any questions we had and was so responsive to phone calls and emails! We also booked the photobooth option and cannot recommend enough! Our guests had so much fun and it was so nice everyone had a keepsake! Troy even sent us all the photos from the photobooth so we got a chance to see all the individual photos everyone took! He also created a special audio for us that we did a final dance with all our guests to before ending the night with a private dance just my husband and I! It was absolutely perfect and we can't thank him and his staff enough or recommend them enough! They truly made our day so perfect and so special!

Amazing people they do exceptional work in not just providing sound but in keeping the crowd going making sure the energy was right for the setting and overall just bringing a good vibe. Couldn’t have picked a better company to represent what my bride and I felt like was us when it came down to music and etc. by pretty much providing lots of freedom to make the night perfect. Not just covering their bases but going above and beyond in doing more such as creating moments by doing fun things like a “photo dash” which we had no intention of doing until Troy brought it up to us. Planning was super easy as Troy walked us through how to use his website and had lots of availability.

I could upload my own songs, and he also had a bunch of great recommendations for when we got stuck. The planning portal was so easy to use, and helped guide me through the planning process. Troy was a wonderful Master of Ceremonies. He kept the crowd engaged and was very easy to understand. Tristan was a wonderful DJ, mixing our variety of must play music in a seamless way.

The easiest decision for the wedding
Troy was very easy to work with. He helped me walk through the different packages and what worked best for our wedding. He was also easy to schedule meetings with as we had 3 total to pick out our songs and the time line. His website makes it easy to pick out what songs you want or upload playlist. He did a great job helping the wedding stay on track. He also did a great job mixing the songs so the dancing never stopped. Troy was so easy and fun to work with. He was organized, professional and passionate about music. He had great ideas if we wanted suggestions but otherwise was willing to make anything we wanted become a reality. On the wedding day he and his son Tristan were an absolutely amazing team. We used 4 different locations of the venue and he set up audio equipment at each area (which he keeps very inconspicuous with his white wraps on equipment etc.). It went flawlessly. I don't want to give any of his surprises away, but I will just say he made the night magical and everyone was talking about it after the wedding. I have had several friends ask me for his name after the wedding. I simply can not say enough about how great he was!

I cannot express how easy Troy makes it to work with him. He has an online system that makes it so easy to plan out your day and pick songs to make sure you don't forget any. He was easy and fun to work with. His sound system is fantastic and includes, lapel mics for the officiant and groom or hand held mics. Incredible DJ - a Game changer
Hiring Top City entertainment was truly a game changer for our wedding. Troy was so thorough when meeting with us, ensuring he understood everything that we wanted for the big day. He had the coolest online planning portal that helped us organize the songs that we wanted and remember what all we needed to pick songs for. He was personable, kind, and had great suggestions for fun things to do with guests at the reception. He helped make the day go smoothly overall by providing microphones for the toasts and ceremony and even coming to the rehearsal to practice with us! At the reception, he kept things moving and even surprised us at the end with the sweetest last dance. We also purchased use of the cool sparks. This elevated our entrance to the reception, first dance, and exit photos. The guests loved it and we got some of the coolest photos. After the wedding, we had many people tell us how awesome our DJ was. We are so thankful that we hired Troy and his team and cannot recommend Top City Entertainment enough!

Working with Troy with Top City Entertainment for my wedding was a huge blessing. My now husband and I were not sure if we wanted a DJ or not due to budget reasons, but Troy made every reason why we should hire a DJ come to life and then some. He was great to work with ahead of time, and he was fully dialed in to the kind of vibe we were going for. Our wedding & reception were in the same place and Troy provided sound services for our ceremony and music for our reception. We also used his photo booth service, which was a hit with our guests. Troy and his team are amazing. Troy was excellent at communication from start to finish. He has a clear and easy to understand process that really made us feel comfortable leading up to the big day. The Spotify integration of playlists was an amazing feature - we had a lot of fun drafting our playlists for cocktail hour, dinner, etc. His organization and process fit perfectly with timing. He was able to mix our ceremony music smoothly and his transitions were seamless. You do not want to neglect picking a final song with Troy - he will make the Bride and Groom feel special all the way to the last dance! THEY WERE AMAZING! Throughout the planning process they were so responsive to my questions, easy to get ahold of, and made it all stress free! During the day of the ceremony I couldn’t have asked for more! They kept the party going, made sure we knew what was going on at all times, and made our day so incredibly special! I highly recommend them for any event requiring a DJ!

Don’t hesitate! Troy is amazing. He DJ’d our wedding dance and did such a great job. People were up dancing the whole time and we had an absolute blast! We didn’t include a lot of must plays/do not plays and just told Troy our general music preferences and asked him to play whatever gets people up and dancing. And he nailed it. Troy also added a VERY special touch to our last dance and it truly brought us to tears. The surprise made for a perfect ending to our perfect day and is something we will remember forever.

They keep the party hopping!
I am so glad we were able to secure Top City Entertainment for my daughter's wedding. Troy and Tristan are excellent at entertaining and keeping the party going. I was so impressed with everything from beginning to end. They made it easy to plan our party and Troy met with us beforehand to set up a timeline that really helped the evening run smoothly and perfectly. I feel we were fortunate to get them because every time I mentioned that they would be our dj's, I would get a comment about how great they are and how lucky we were to have secured them!

Troy exceeded our expectations! Professional and fun. He did everything I asked from engaging the guest to making the experience unforgettable for everyone. I requested that he make a mix of rap music for us to walk down the aisle to and he couldn’t have done a better job! The options he has for add-ons is worth every penny! We added on the mirror mirror (crowd pleaser), up lighting, a monogram, and the fountains. You will not be disappointed going with top city and by the end, you’ll feel like your best friends because he takes the time to get to know you and your needs!

Wonderful experience
Troy was such a pleasure to work with. He eased any stress I had with the music for the wedding and was overall so easy to work with. He responds quickly, was super helpful and made my wedding reception so fun! He was great about reading the crowd, would change the songs if people weren’t dancing as much and kept the party going just as I had imagined. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for DJ services!!!!

There is no need to look any further when searching for the best DJ in Kansas. From the very first inquiry call with Troy, till the end of our wedding night, he was amazing to work with. Troy is very through with his work, trustworthy on his word and such a personable guy. He helped with the timeline for the day of the wedding, which songs would be the best to play and when, and answered every detailed question I had. Troy showed up and was professional as always. Top City Entertainment was better than I even imagined for our June wedding. They had great energy, read the audience well and ran the reception smoothly. The photo booth was fun for all the guests and I highly recommend the photo strip album, we will enjoy flipping through all the pictures forever! However, by far my favorite part of their service was the special song they created for us too dance to at the end of the night that included highlights of the vows and toasts. I had never seen any like it before at a wedding. All our guests were raving about it. Was definitely one of our favorite moments of the whole day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, Top City Entertainment for you event!

Troy is great to work with! At the introductory meeting, all of my needs were discussed. It took stress off my plate talking to Troy about my wedding day because he had so many great ideas, as well as having an order that receptions typically go in. Their online portal gives you access to select any song you could possibly want. For a wedding, all you have to do if select the dance and what song you want played. You have all the freedom of choosing the songs you want, or he is willing to do it all for you! He just wants to make sure it is what YOU want. I picked Top City Entertainment because I had witness them at multiple weddings. Troy does a great job at keeping the party flowing. I have never seen him without a smile on his face. We are so grateful that he was such a BIG HELP in our special day!!!

Toepka Wedding for the Ages
We had Top City Entertainment DJ and photo booth for our Wedding in August of 2019. From the moment we inquired, Troy handled our event like a true professional. the evening ran as smooth as possible without any issues. Troy made the dance floor a great place to be, and we had people dancing right till the end of our wedding at Topeka Country Club, which ended about 1:00 AM. As well, we received countless compliments from our guests regarding the event, and the photo booth. Top City Entertainment knows how to keep a party going. Troy and his son were on top of the ceremony! They kept it moving, on time, and the dance floor full. My husband and I loved having Top City Entertainment as our DJ during our wedding!! We were shopping around at many different DJs and they were the best fit for us, they worked around our work/school schedule to set up meetings to go over what needed to be done before the wedding. Their website is easy to navigate and allows you to create an outline for the schedule of the day, which I shared with my photographer and she LOVED it. Highly recommend them and they will keep the party going as long as you want!

We LOVED having Top City do the sound for our wedding ceremony and reception! Troy was really easy to work with and made it clear he would do things however we wanted, but at the same time he provided his input and opinion when we asked because we had never done this before. We wanted things to be more "traditional" and were hoping the DJ we found would catch our vision for that and not be obnoxious, and Troy was PERFECT. Everything went so well, we didn't really even notice him- in a good way! It was so smooth. The online portal for choosing the playlists was also AWESOME. We really loved that aspect. Would recommend Troy for any sound needs!

Troy did an amazing job keeping our reception flowing and making sure our guests had a wonderful time! Before the wedding, we had a call with him to make sure everyone was on the right page. We gave him the songs we wanted played for each event and he took care of the rest! On the day of the wedding we didn’t have to worry about a thing! He had our schedule and made sure our events kept moving. Once the dance got started, there was never an empty dance floor! He played the perfect mix of music to keep our guests entertained and having fun! It was so great to be able to just sit back and enjoy while Troy made the experience great!

Troy and Tristian were delightful to work with! Initial contact with Troy was so easy as he quickly responded to my contact through his website. The online system to requests songs was easily navigable and anything they did not have they bought! Day of the wedding, they came in early to set up their system and were already playing music before guest arrived. Troy was a fantastic Master of Ceremonies and really kept the reception flowing at just the right pace! Tristian was very accomodating with song requests and played a great balance of slow songs and ‘booty bumping music’ per request of the groom. We could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend them to anyone who asks and even those who don’t ask!

Top City was excellent to work with for our wedding. The ability to use a website to coordinate activities and songs wanted was great for when on the go. The photo booth was a HUGE hit and everyone loved that they could send straight to their phones, versus trying to take a photo of the strip causing glares, etc. Always a fan of hiring local so I was excited to know operated out of Topeka. Definitely consider them for DJ, photo booth, or both for your next event!

Troy did a fantastic job for our reception! Our dance floor was busy all night and our guests had a great time. Not only did he play great music all night, but he made sure to keep the important events of the night on schedule (dinner, cake cutting, first dance, parent dances, etc.). We did not get a chance to meet with Troy before our reception, and everything still went off perfectly.
Not only did we hire Top City Entertainment as the DJ, but we had the photo booth too. The photo booth props were top notch and all the pictures turned out awesome - exactly as we were hoping! I cannot recommend Troy and his group enough, you will not be disappointed if you choose to go with Top City Entertainment Company!

Troy sits down one on one with you to give you the most rewarding experience to celebrate your special day the way you want it, and personalizes it to your specifications. It was a great day and night with them at our wedding. If you get the photo booth you get all the pictures and a disk with all the photos on it so you can relive the moments of your special day. I loved these guys!! Everything that you normally have to take at least an hour out of your day to sit down and talk about, you can just do on their website at anytime that is convenient for you!! I had complete control over all aspects, and they even left note sections for special instructions. It was great, I didnt have to go meet anyone beforehand either, they just called me to go over everything and it only took about 30 minutes. They were there early to set up and had everything taken down on time. Seriously great customer service.

Troy is the best!
I would highly recommend Troy for a wedding DJ. He traveled to Manhattan in August for us and did a phenomenal job! He set up at both our ceremony and reception. For the ceremony, he added the songs that were important to us and filled in accordingly. At the reception, he played all of the songs we asked for and kept everything moving smoothly. Our venue even said he was one of the best DJs they have had there and the songs he played were great! If you have a wedding coming up, don't wait until he is booked up because you will not be disappointed with his service!

Amazing Family Owned Company
We used Top City TuneSquad DJ for our wedding. Troy & Tristan did a phenomenal job & they made sure the night ran smoothly! The dance floor was never empty & they always knew just the right song to play.
Troy was so easy to work with & he truly is a master at his craft. Very knowledgeable when it came to setting the timeline for the night & he always had great recommendations. We also used the Top City Photobooth for our wedding photo booth! All of our guest raved about all of the awesome props & the amazing photo strips they got to take home. I can't wait to review all of the photos from the night to see just how much fun everyone had!
Hands Down I recommend this family team for DJ & Photobooth services. They won't disappoint & they will make you feel like you are the most important client they have!

Troy and Top City are everything a DJ should be. He absolutely understands how a reception should progress. His timing is perfect and he really just helps everyone feel at ease. I had SO MANY compliments from my guests on the DJ and how he was so much better than many of the weddings they had been to. Planning with him was a breeze and he was so accommodating. His online portal for music selection and planning was so convenient and tailorable to our every need! I would hire him again and again and again!

Troy is amazing to work with! Always up to Ideas and def. knows how to run everything for you when you are drained with wedding planning! We had a few songs left to decide on and playlists the night before the wedding to decide on but being so busy with the wedding! We gave Troy Ideas and Took control and did an amazing job! Booking and meetings always seemed quick and very easy communication through phone, email, and text. On our wedding day we had no worries thanks to Troy and his family assisting with the Photo booth /DJ and running everything on time and smooth!

We are so happy we booked Top City Entertainment for our wedding! Troy was awesome to work with and truly cared about our event. I had very specific ideas about the music for our event (yes, I do realize these guys are professional and know what they're doing!) and Troy was more than accommodating of my requests. Our dance floor was FULL all night long! Troy was friendly and professional, and I was able to relax knowing he'd take care of the flow of our reception. On top of that, they have an awesome set up. Great sound quality, awesome lights....they're just the best!

I have never been one to follow up with a review, but I felt it necessary with this company!! They made my wedding perfect!! The perfect mix of professionalism and fun! The music was always on point with the mood and kept the dance floor full of people! We made a small playlist but they knew the kind of music we liked and what to play that we hadn't thought to put on our playlist. We had the two sons and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ service!

We had Top City TuneSquad DJ our wedding and Troy was absolutely amazing. 10/10 would recommend every time. The dance floor was fun and packed the entire night. Troy was amazing! I am so glad that we found him by accident. I don’t think anyone could of done better then he did. He is very professional and very patient.
