You really can’t get any better than Tom! He is nothing less than the best photographer! Not only does he take amazing photos, but he is so personable and makes you feel super comfortable and confident while shooting! You can tell that this is not just a job for him but mainly a passion. The time he takes to talk to you and get to know you as a couple is really unlike any other. He is invested in each couple he works with to make sure he really captures the love. The Russo team is the absolute best in the business! Tom and Marlee were very communicative throughout the entire planning process and executed all the photos and videos from our wedding day to perfection. Our entire team of Tom, Marlee, Michaela, and Jonathan was laughing and goofing off with us the entire time and somehow managed to turn all those moments into the perfect candid photos. It was like being photographed by a group of lifelong friends. It’s always great to see your photographers and videographers sprint around the room and venue just to get the perfect shot. They made us feel comfortable and beautiful, and we cannot recommend them enough. -

Would highly recommend Tom and his team to capture your wedding day photo/video. They were so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They were flexible, accommodating and down to earth. Joey was our lead photographer and did a great job making sure he captured all the moments without feeling like he was always on top of us. He was laid back so we didn’t feel stressed but also ensured we kept things moving so we didn’t fall behind on our timeline. We love our photos and would definitely recommend using Tom and his team for your special day. -

Perfection
I found TRP on Instagram somehow and completely fell in love with his style. All of his couples looked so natural and, well, not awkward. I could tell immediately it was the photography and not that he was booking the most perfect, beautiful couples. I referred to myself as a low key, go with the flow bride, so I knew that if I booked him, my pictures would be a sure thing. And oh boy were they; they were better than I could have imagined. To start, he came to our house for our engagement shoot and we got the typical scenery pictures with the mountains, he told us exactly how to pose and made us laugh throughout the process. We are avid dirtbike riders so what impressed us the most was that we wanted pictures with the dirtbike and he knew exactly what to do and we even got action shots of us riding. We didn’t have any requests for specific shots for the wedding but, we didn’t need them because they got them alllll. I’m in love with all of our pictures. We also used them for videography and I’ve watched our video about 100 times already. Also, there was one part in my vows that I didn’t like how I sounded and with no questions they re-edited it. Aaand as if I didn’t think they were amazing already, we went on our honeymoon a week after our wedding and, mid honeymoon, our full album was sent to us. ALSO, the process of creating a photo album with them is so easy and it is well put together and so beautiful. -

Greatest EVER
Tom and Neil were truly exceptional! Tom was a great fit for us from start to finish. We knew from our first Zoom meeting that he was the photographer for us, considering how personable and talented he is. Next was our engagement session at the beach and that was a preview to how exceptional our wedding photos would be. Tom and Neil made for a fun experience and did not even make it feel like we were taking photos throughout the day— efficient! They were there to capture every moment and the turnaround time for previews was great and the photos have me obsessed! Not to mention, Tom and Neil fit right in with our bridal party, where they were on the dance floor with us getting all the fun shots, without interfering with the vibe, but adding to the vibes instead! 12/10 would recommend !!!! -

We had two photographers and two videographers. Nick was our main photographer and we absolutely loved him. My husband and I hate taking pictures but Nick made us feel comfortable. Will definitely use their photography again in the future. We've only received our sneak preview video so far but it was still adorable -

Seamless and Stress-FREE
We decided to move forward with Tom and his team after he worked on our friends wedding a year and a half prior to ours. My husband and I are definitely not the people you find jumping in front of cameras or videos to have our photos taken - if anything - my husband usually runs away haha. We loved working with Tom because he made it less uncomfortable for us to be the center of attention and make us feel/act more candid. A list of all of the positives:
~ Our dog came with us to our engagement photo shoot and the photos we have with him will be used for years to come on holiday cards. Everybody (us included) LOVED the photos with our pup.
~ Tom knew all of the poses and researched our locations ahead of time so it was not a long, drawn out process.
~ We received our photos for our engagement & wedding shoots and video within a timely manner. They actually sent about 100 photos right after our wedding to give us a taste of what to expect.
~ The communication was on point at all times. We were the ones who did not communicate quickly and Tom was gracious with each and every delayed response.
~ I had concerns about a previous videographer he had worked with and receiving a well-edited video in a timely manner. He took about an hour out of his day to talk to me about what had happened, what he and his team learned from it and that he had cut ties with that videographer and found a new one. He made me feel very well taken care of. I cry every time I watch our video now (which we received on time).
~ They had trainees with them on the day of our wedding. As they grow their team, their team needs to be an extension of them and know exactly how Tom and Marlee create the gorgeousness they do. I LOVE the dedication to perfection and pride in the work they do.
~ Tom and Marlee also got married right after we did and you would never had known because they still made us feel like we were the most important clients throughout the process. They did send out tons of emails before their wedding day and honeymoon to let everyone know that responses would be delayed but they would get back to us as soon as they were back. Their professionalism was off the chart.
My husband and I have been taking our time getting our album so we haven't selected the photos yet but should there need to be any updates, I will include them once we figure that out. They did offer to send over a surprise proof so I will probably taken Tom up on that!
They made our whole process seamless and stress-free. I can't wait to use them again for future life events! -

Book this team!!
Tom Russo Photography and their entire team are incredible! I can’t recommend them enough! Marlee was our photographer for both our engagement shoot and our wedding and she went above and beyond our expectations. It felt like taking photos with a close friend- she knew exactly what to say to get us both feeling comfortable and had clear direction and ideas for both shoots. Our wedding day ended up being rainy and Marlee was so positive, upbeat, and got AWESOME shots using our umbrellas - I love them so much- I didn’t even care that it rained! She made the whole process such a breeze, we were laughing the whole time - she is so easy to talk to! I also enjoyed that Marlee captured who we are as a couple not overly posed, natural light, and lots of fun pictures that have our personality in them. We received so many preview pictures so quickly and again couldn’t have been happier with the quality! At our wedding Marlee had a second shooter, tony, that was also amazing - my husband really enjoyed working with him. You can tell that everyone who works on this team truly loves what they do and works to give you the absolute best. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone looking for a photographer!

Incredible experience! 12/10
Tom & his team were exactly what we needed on our wedding day. They are beyond professional but also FUN. We had a blast having them as our photographers and felt so extremely comfortable knowing we were in the best hands possible on a day that means so much. I could say a million things about choosing Tom Russo Photography as your Wedding Day Vendor but what's easier to say is simply this - you won't regret it.
We have beautiful, sentimental photos to share and look back on for our whole lifetime, thanks to him. -

I am writing this review as from the very beginning working with Tom was an absolute pleasure. My wife found Tom and asked if we could do a Zoom call after I got home from work. This was the beginning of the best wedding photography experience. From the moment we first spoke with Tom he made us feel extremely welcome. He was excited and we both said to eachother his positive outlook and personality is what made us extremely excited to have him do our Engagement and Wedding Photos. Tom always made time to talk with us, no matter what time or what questions we had, he was professional, personable, and always did whatever he could to make sure we felt comfortable and confident. The Engagement photos came out amazing, I know I speak behalf of both my wife and I when I say Tom made us look forward to taking the photos. As you can imagine or probably feel right now, wedding planning can be extremely time consuming and very stressful. Tom made sure we always had a plan, he would text/call us when we had concerns and reminded us that everything would work out and he was there to make it great. The best memories I have from our wedding are because of Tom and Marlee. My wife had Marlee capture her special day and preparation and I had Tom. This couple, is truly incredible. Two amazing people that care about their clients. Tom helped me on the wedding day to take a deep breath and stay in the moment and Marlee made sure my wife was calm, confident, and most of all happy. Tom and Marlee, thank you for making our wedding day more incredible than words can describe. When couples pick their photographer I hope they realize it is so important to find one that makes them feel like family like you made me and Allie feel. For any newly engaged couples, if you are stressed out, overwhelmed, and thinking who can I get for photography, I would definitely suggest you talk with Tom. I'm SO happy we went with TomRussoPhotography for our November 2022 wedding. My husband and I are completely OBSESSED with all of our photos from the day. Tom did our engagement photos and he and Nick shot our wedding photos and I highly recommend both of them! They were great to work with and the photos were beyond amazing! They had never been to our wedding venue before but they showed up early and scouted out the best spots for photos. They were creative and accommodating with a few of the challenges of our wedding. For example the sun was at a really bad, blinding angle during our ceremony and I was worried that they weren’t going to be able to get any decent pictures but they ended up getting some great shots! They did a great job of making us comfortable and kept us smiling and laughing throughout the photo sessions and they captured so many little candid moments that made the day really special!

If I could give Tom and Marlee 10 out of 5 stars, I would. I first found out about Tom Russo Photography when we received a save the date for another wedding. As soon as we saw those photos we knew we needed to hire whoever took them for our own upcoming October wedding! I followed Tom's social media and continued to be blown away by his photography.
Tom communicated professionally and punctually throughout the entire wedding planning process. But the best part was the way that Tom and Marlee created our wedding day timeline and on the day of, they ran the show like rock stars. They always made sure that we and everyone in our wedding party knew exactly where to go and when. They captured moments that we didn't even know we would want captured. The previews that we received a few weeks after the wedding literally took my breath away.
If we had to re-do our wedding, we would book Tom over and over again. He is worth every penny you will invest in him. Rest assured you will be in very capable hands.

Exceeded Expectations!
We just got our engagement pictures back from Tom and we could not be happier!!! Even before Tom shot our friend's wedding in 2020, I had already known I wanted him to shoot for our wedding as well. His work is absolutely amazing and he really does care for each of his clients, going above and beyond for them. He's amazing at working 1-1 with you prior to your day so that he makes sure he has as many details to work with as possible for the smoothest day! His entire team is also absolutely amazing, and we had the pleasure of also working with his 2nd Photographer, Andrea Malakoff that day! Words can’t even describe how amazing Tom and his photo/video crew were!! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and he managed to capture every moment along the way. We were married at Nanina’s in the Park and he knew every inch of the venue. He knew exactly when and where to go for every shot and his video crew followed. Tom also has such great report with the staff at Nanina’s so the day flowed effortlessly. He really knows how to take charge of a room, which was important to us, since we had 250 guests at this wedding.
Our color palette was fall themed with accents of orange and burgundy, as our wedding was in November, and Tom picked up on this right away! Our entire album felt cohesive, elegant, and vibrant- it was exactly was I was going for!!
Tom was also VERY quick to get us some photo previews to show friends and family. He sent about 80 beautifully edited photos to us only a few days after the wedding! This was great since Thanksgiving and Christmas were around the corner.
BOOK HIM. He is a gem to work with and truly, truly knows what he is doing❤️ -

Don’t think just book him! Tom is amazingly talented. He makes you feel so comfortable while shooting, he made me and my shy fiancé feel like we were just out with a friend and so easy to be ourselves. As someone who is very self conscious about their body I was pretty nervous but throughout the whole shoot he encourages you. I love our photos and can’t wait for our wedding because I know I’ll be blown away all over again.
Update: TOM KILLED IT our wedding was perfect and tom captured it so beautifully! We also got our whole gallery back within about a month it was sooo fast!!! We LOVE our photos tom is amazing. -

Getting behind the camera can be a little intimidating--not when you have a professional whose so talented and so eager to capture what you have with your significant other. We felt so comfortable and confident in our shoot. The best part, we got so many pictures back (some photographers only give you a few) and we got them in an insanely quick turn-around time. My fiancé and I connected with Tom in January 2021 after winning an engagement photo contest he was hosting. I had been a fan of Tom's photography for some time at that point, so it was emotionally thrilling for me to have the opportunity to work with Tom and have him capture our love behind the lens. Tom's energy, from our Zoom call to meeting on location, was so contagious and set the tone for the PERFECT engagement session! He is a HUGE Disney fan, like myself, and recommended the PERFECT location for our photoshop; The Cross Estate Gardens in Bernardsville, NJ. From the moment he said that the location had a "Rapunzel" style castle, I was hooked! We were a little nervous as we never had professional photos taken of us before and I am quite insecure and self-conscience about my appearance. After working with Tom, I think back to those nerves and LAUGH! WE COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW STUNNING THE PHOTOS WERE! There was a lot of snow days leading up to the session and, although it was quite cold to say the least, gave us the absolute PERFECT backdrop! Tom was impeccable at providing us direction that was natural and allowed for our natural love and energy to radiate as bright as the "golden hour" sun that was featured in our photos. He absolutely made my fiancé's day when he asked if there were any more shots/poses we wanted because my fiancé, who is a HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fan, had a couple of ideas in mind when posing with our custom jerseys and "Mr and Mrs" sign. My fiancé proposed to me with my custom jersey over the holidays, and Tom's excitement about the idea meant so much to us! Three days later, our digital album was sent to us with over 275 images from our session! THREE DAYS FOR DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS PHOTOS?! I still can't believe how fast the turn-around was! When I look at the photos and re-read the blog post Tom wrote about our session, my heart fills up with so much love that I feel "happy tears" welling up in my eyes because all I see is our love and connection for one another. They say "a picture says 1,000 words", and I see thousands when I look at not only our photos, but all of Tom's photos I have seen on social media. Love is such a powerful, evolving, and beautiful gift, and it is such an amazing blessing to have our love preserved for many years to come. Tom, thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts, for such an incredible beginning to our Happily Ever After! -

We found Tom through a facebook ad and thankfully we did! With so much unknown about COVID, it can be hard to pinpoint dates in the future. We had our hearts set on an outdoor fall shoot. It ended up raining for our first 3 scheduled dates but Tom was the best. He worked with us to make sure we found the perfect place and the photos are beyond our wildest expectations. He managed to make the shoot feel like "us" and our pictures really reflect it. -

Tom was absolutely fantastic to work with. He is timely, professional, responsive and a true artist with his camera. But more importantly, when you hire Tom you are hiring a friend. During this entire crazy year, Tom easily worked with us and adapted to our ever changing wedding plans. From honoring our contract for next year, to shooting an amazing engagement and finally shooting our small ceremony this year, Tom was amazingly accommodating with our changing needs. He always has time for clients and he will make your wedding photographs and a vision. We just got our prints back from our wedding and we are so absolutely thrilled with them. I cannot recommend Tom enough as a wedding photographer. -

Passion, talent, creative, and sincere are a few words to describe Tom and his incredible work. My fiancé and I are the winners of Tom’s 2021 wedding package and we could not be any happier with how this worked out. My fiancé and I had our engagement session this past week and it was so fun! Tom is such a phenomenal photographer, and at the same time, so relatable and down-to-earth which makes him a pleasure to work with. Especially with my husband who dislikes taking pictures! Tom was able to get him comfortable so much so that my husband actually enjoyed the photoshoot! We used Tom for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. He really listened to what we wanted as a couple, and made sure that we were being true to ourselves. We love laughing at (or with) each other, which definitely showed in our pictures. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out even better than we could've imagined! He has an eye for photography and is able to turn a normal landscape into a masterpiece. We were nervous it was going to be awkward, but right when we got to the location we were on the go with very little time to think, it was perfect. Extraordinary
If I could give Tom Russo Photography more than five stars, I would. My fiance and I spoke to Tom for a very long time before finally booking him. I was in school, COVID-19 happened, and life just gets crazy sometimes. Tom was nothing short of patient, kind, and understanding throughout the entire process. Once we booked Tom, we planned our engagement photography with him. When talking about a location, he had some amazing places in mind, but we really had our hearts set and he was willing to try anything for us! The weather conditions were a little crazy that day, luckily there was no rain or you would have thought there was a hurricane it was so dark and windy. Also, there were a lot of people on the beach that day. With all of those elements in mind, Tom managed to take GORGEOUS photos of us. It has been over a month since we have had them taken and I still look at them every day. I cannot say enough how professional, creative, and talented Tom and his team are. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

Tom did a give away that Andrew & I entered. We WON & we had this amazing talk with Tom about what we envisioned about a Halloween engagement shoot.
We met with Tom to do the shoot about six months later & let me tell you, WOW! He was awesome! We had the best time shooting with him.
He made us feel extremely comfortable, made us laugh, and was so encouraging about the overall vision of these photos. This photo shoot literally turned out to be everything beyond what I could of thought.

Tom and I went to college together at Montclair State and re-connected after winning a free engagement with him. We knew from the start how fantastic and talented he was as a photographer, but the actual experience of planning and executing the session with him was phenomenal. From our first Skype call, Tom took the time to really understand our story so that it could influence our session. Originally, we were going to take photos back in May at the Botanical Gardens in NYC, but due to COVID, we had to shuffle things around. Tom was extremely accommodating and flexible on the few date changes and location changes we had to make. At the engagement session, Tom made us both feel so comfortable and relaxed, and after seeing the finished product, it really showed. The photos are a perfect reflection of us as a couple and the comfort and fun we feel with each other. There is seriously not a single photo in our entire collection that we don't like. We cannot thank Tom enough for the time and effort he put into a picture-perfect engagement session!! -

Unforgettable!
Where do I even begin?! I was recommended to work with Tom from a mutual friend who also knew of someone who was working with him for their upcoming wedding. From the moment we connected, Tom IMMEDIATELY made me feel comfortable and at ease. It has NOT been the easiest thing to be a bride-to-be during the COVID times, but no matter what obstacle has come our way, Tom has always assured my fiancé and I that things would turn out perfectly, and after shooting our engagement session, our minds have been blown far beyond what “perfect” could ever be.
During our session Tom made it a point to not only incorporate all of our ideas but turn them into a real-life fairytale.
Our engagement session was an absolute BLAST until the end and never once did we feel as if we were tired or wanted it to be over. Rather, I felt as if I could shoot for hours more! We absolutely ADORE our engagement photos and cannot WAIT for our wedding!!

We had an incredible wedding anniversary shoot with Tom. It was fun, romantic and completely stress free. He made the day a lot less stressful for me and kept reminding the both of us that he was here for us and here to make our day the best It could be. Tom Russo Photography was a pleasure to work with! Getting married during the pandemic had so many unexpected challenges, but luckily, Tom was flexible every step of the way. We had to change our original date for our engagement session from May to June 2020 due to COVID concerns and Tom was very accommodating in helping us find a new date. We also had to scale down our original wedding for October 2020 to become a micro-wedding and postponed our reception to May 2021. Tom was flexible again in helping us maneuver through these changes.
Our engagement session in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ came out beautifully! Tom was great at guiding us in how to pose for photos and the finished product looked amazing. We had Tom back with us for our micro-wedding in October 2020 and he gave us amazing work once again. He was very professional, kept the day flowing efficiently, and made our family and bridal party feel comfortable in front of the camera. We were overjoyed to see the end result, which turned out beautifully! Although Tom was unavailable for our postponed wedding reception in May 2021, he is finding us an equally talented photographer and will still edit our photos for us in his signature style.
