We were in a pinch with a very tight deadline. We booked Dr. Jay and Linda on a Friday for our ceremony the following Monday (only two full days to prepare!). They responded to our inquiry the same day, and we felt confident booking right away. We filled out their questionnaire and had a quick 20-minute phone chat. From that limited interaction, they somehow crafted a completely custom and personalized ceremony that felt perfectly tailored to us.
The word our guests kept using afterward? "Fun!" It was intimate, joyful, and exactly the unique, lighthearted experience we wanted. It truly couldn't have gone better. Dr. Jay and Linda's warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made everything stress-free despite the short timeline.
After the ceremony, they gave us a beautiful keepsake copy of the script, ensured all state paperwork was handled properly, and answered any questions we had. They even followed up a day or two later with some lovely photos they took during the day. Worth every single penny! -

My new husband and I got married on October 18th, 2025 at our ranch. We had been trying for 2 years to reach Dr. Jay of Tombstone to do our wedding for us. We finally reached him and his wife Linda. They are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet. Our wedding was amazing. We are both Veterans and Dr. Jay was amazing in how he customized our ceremony just for us. We used our horses for the ceremony. Being that it was so close to Halloween, we created a Halloween themed Wedding, with skulls, skeletons, and a graveyard hearse pulled by a black skeleton horse. Our experience with Dr. Jay and Linda will be on that will remain with us and our guests for as long as we live. The professionalism and care they take to make your special day perfect, goes beyond words. We had an amazing day and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful, but also with a bit of humor and alot of fun. We enjoyed having them come and perform the ceremony for us. It was definitely well worth the wait and the price. Money was no problem when it came to having it done right. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for something different but definitely unique and customized to you and your partner. Thank you Dr. Jay and Linda for an absolutely awesome, beautiful and definitely unforgettable experience. We appreciate everything you did to make our day perfect. Kane Wedding Experience - Incredible!
My husband and I were recently married in Tombstone, AZ at the historic courthouse. This little town and this building hold a special place in our hearts ever since our first visit years ago. It only made sense for us to share our precious moment in a place that means so much to us. Dr. Jay and Linda made our day more unforgettable than we could have ever imagined.
Dr. Jay and Linda were highly recommended to us by the courthouse staff and they did not disappoint! From the very first conversation we shared, I could see their compassion for uniting couples in marriage. In the months leading up to our wedding, Dr. Jay and Linda consistently communicated with my husband and I about our wedding day plans and made us feel like the most important people in the world.
I can honestly say that Dr. Jay and Linda made the entire process well worth it and were probably the only aspect of our wedding that did not cause incredible stress. We were going through hell getting to this day with plans falling through, other vendors disappointing us, and other typical wedding planning pressures weighing down on us. This included a full reschedule of our original wedding date due to work-related scheduling conflicts. Despite all these worries, Dr. Jay and Linda were extremely flexible with us and made themselves available at any moment of the day. They provided us constant assurance and support through the entire process and we would not have enjoyed our day even half as much without them by our side.
Aside from being strong for us during the ups and downs of wedding planning, they know SO much about Tombstone. If you're looking for someone who knows this epic town inside and out, Dr. Jay and Linda are your saviors! They have truly done all the research one could possibly do about this town and its fascinating history and they shared tons of interesting facts with us that we never knew. They also provided us with lots of local recommendations for food and entertainment that our out-of-state family members really appreciated during their first visit here.
Everyone in Tombstone seems to know Dr. Jay and Linda and they are highly regarded in the community. They have a very good working relationship with the wonderful staff at the courthouse and helped us with all housekeeping tasks at every step of the way. This was especially helpful in our case because we got married right in the middle of some big structural renovations that were underway at the courthouse. Linda even took it upon herself to ensure that there was minimal disruption with debris and construction-related distractions prior to our wedding day by dusting and setting up decorations.
If there's one thing I learned about the wedding industry during our planning phase, its that the professionals in it are not doing things out of the goodness of their heart and they're going to charge you for every micro-detail that they have a hand in. Dr. Jay and Linda showed us that they are not part of this stereotype - they really care. They took ample time to get to know us prior to the big day and tailored the ceremony to the depths of the relationship between my husband and I. There was absolutely nothing "cookie-cutter" about our special day and every second of the ceremony was uniquely about us. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable experience.
Outside of being indescribably professional and organized in their craft, these two amazing people have incredible life experiences and background that anyone would be so lucky to hear about. Their story and the things they have accomplished in their lives that eventually brought them to the area will inspire you to keep pursuing your own dreams. My husband and I have the utmost respect for them and we're so thankful that our paths crossed! -

Just had the perfect wedding! Linda and Dr. J were so wonderful through out the planning of the wedding. We had an actor, so I didnt know exactly what was going to happen. Which made it so special!! Would not change ANYTHING! Linda is such kind hearted lovely person. She was always there for me and all my questions. She took so much time getting to know us and adding this to the ceremony! Our Amazing Wedding
How do you describe Dr. Jay and Linda? They are such an amazing couple that everything they touch is blessed!
They made our day so special that we are at a loss for words! They took care of every detail all the way down to and including minute details of our lives in the ceremony.
We wanted a non-traditional wedding and, boy, did they deliver.
Since they know everyone in town and everyone loves them, we were invited with open arms.
Our wedding was emotional, loving, caring, unique, and most of all, fun!

Best wedding ever!
I cannot say enough about this experience! First of all Linda and Dr. Jay are the most wonderful people I’ve ever met. They were so helpful and accommodating before, during and after the ceremony. They went above and beyond to make sure our special day was truly special! Our ceremony was fun and sentimental at the same time. It was only the two of us which we thought might be just a little bit sad since our family couldn’t be there, however Linda and Dr. Jay we’re like family! They are so personable and friendly that we felt like we knew them forever. I really think we made friends for life! I highly recommend their services! You will not be disappointed! -

Tombstone wedding
We were looking for a unique wedding experience that focused on us as a couple, not ornate decorations or place settings. We also wanted some levity and humor in the ceremony. Dr. Jay and Linda gave us that and so much more with a surprising and loving ceremony that they went so far above and beyond to personally craft for us and our story.
Due to COVID, we had to postpone our ceremony for a year. Dr. Jay and Linda were flexible and worked so hard to meet our needs for the ceremony itself and with the details of rescheduling. At the time of the ceremony, when we were finally able to have the ceremony we dreamed of, Dr. Jay and Linda not only gave us the day we had waited so long for, but crafted a ceremony that embraced our unique situation and our unique bond as a couple.

Our enchanted moment...
We called Dr. Jay and Linda two months before the date we wanted. It was during Covid, and the date was an important one; that could NOT be missed. Linda was very sweet and went above and beyond to make it happen, and make our day SO special! They asked questions about our story to get to know us both and make the day personal to us. We appreciated the excellent communication, from Linda, leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day they brought beautiful decorations and set them up to make the mine feel special to us. Before, during, and after the ceremony, Linda took many amazing pictures and sent them to us with a copy of the wedding transcript!
Dr. Jay's ceremony surprised us both with how amazing it was. From a Cinderella fairytale to famous Doc Holliday quotes, Dr. Jay made us all laugh, cry, and feel excited. Dr. Jay even made loved ones, that couldn't be there with us, feel present.

Unique and cost effective
I can't say enough of how wonderful they were! And how responsive, paid attention to details. And how our ceremony was so amazing during the crazy cova shut down ! We aloped not really knowing how we were going to pursue a unique experience for our wedding day , they took everything from our conversations and turned it into a beautiful ceremony. We wanted a simple ceremony. COVID had already ruined other potential plans but we had to get married and we wanted something a little more special than a visit to a judge in a courthouse. Dr. Jay and Linda went above and beyond any expectation to make our tiny ceremony magical and unique. They found the perfect, special venue and we were married underground in a mine in Tombstone. We fully expected to show up, say the required lines that would make the whole thing legal and nothing else. Dr. Jay and Linda thought of EVERYTHING. Well worth the price and double! Whether it was maneuvering everything to make people more comfortable or creating special photo moments, they truly made our wedding much more memorable and charming than we could have thought possible. Very personalized ceremony!
Dr. Jay and Linda are the best choice if you want to have a Tombstone wedding. The ceremony was very personal and was exactly what we wanted. We originally planned our wedding date for February 2020, but due to a personal emergency we needed to get married ASAP. Linda was fantastic and arranged for our wedding to take place one week from when I notified her of what was happening--Thanksgiving week! They played our song before the ceremony and that was the perfect touch. Linda and Dr. Jay arranged for the PERFECT venue for us and just went out of their way to make sure our special day was just right. We are so grateful to have met them both! -

Unrealistic expectations
Where do I start? We loved it! From dressing up, to the ceremony, and the pics. It was perfect! Dr. Jay ceremony was right on point like he knew us. So it was very personal but funny but so surreal. Our wedding March 3, 2020 took place outdoors at Tombstone Monument Ranch with friends and family gathered around and our favorite horses tied at the hitching rail. Dr. Jay was our officiant and Miss Linda took care of all the arrangements. We met with Miss Linda and from the information sheet we filled out and from our friendly conversation, she wrote a narrative that was both moving and humorous. Dr Jay‘s ceremony was very beautiful and personal and even incorporated the instrumental, “Theme From A Summer Place”, which was “our song” from high school days.

Professional, fun, and easy
From the start, Dr. Jay and Linda were great to work with. They were very responsive and helpful throughout the wedding planning process. Although we just wanted a simple ceremony, they still were able to provide recommendations and information to help Lydia and I plan our special day. Not only did they officiate the ceremony, they provided a personalized service that was made just for us. They provided our witness, paid the venue, and even took the photos! We couldn't have asked for anything more, it was truly a complete, unique, and special experience. -

The title and stars say it all! Jay and Linda were fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about a Tombstone wedding! Pre wedding communication was spot on and emails were answered within 24 hours, usually in less than two hours. When I was stressing over details, Linda set my mind at ease and handled so much.
My husband and I decided on a more humorous ceremony and we were not disappointed! The script though humorous, rang of truth and was quite touching in places. Several of the guests proclaimed that they were nearly in tears at several points. A wonderful blend of humor and insightfulness. Great fun for everyone! -

We wanted a private ceremony that really reflected what we valued most for our wedding. From my first call with Linda,
I could tell how hard they both work to make your experience unique and personal. Not only did they script the ceremony to our liking they aided in our hotel reservation, got us passes to the museum. They went so far above and beyond to make our day easy and stress free.

Dr. Jay and Linda and Madame Mustache went over and beyond.....
This weekend turned out so well we will have our anniversary back at Tombstone.
Dr. Jay and Linda stayed InTouch with us the entire time through phone and emails within the 90 days of our Elope package we choose along with Madame Mustache location in Tombstone. All the questions we had about location, restaurants, stagecoach, horseback riding etc. Linda stayed on top of our request and even reach out for us to some of our locations.
They took special time with us, and we had an unexpected amount of family members and friends make the drive from Phoenix, AZ to be there for support to view.
The costumes suited our needs, and the hospitality was perfect, they took extra care in our needs. There is nothing we would have changed, except maybe a larger location if we would have known we would had 26 family and friends showed up to see us get married. They squeezed us in and made us feel wanted and appreciated as out of towners. (Dr. Jay has other locations in Tombstone they can do larger weddings for, we thought we were going to have about 10 people total…hahaha).
It was the care and concern to make our wedding plans be very memorable for all time, and they did just that. We highly recommend Dr. Jay and Linda to assist with anyone’s wedding needs whom wants to do it in Tombstone.

Hubby and I have joked about renewing our vows, but we never took action on it. This year we passed the mark of being married 27 years. We had a return vacation planned in Tombstone and I decided to surprise hubby by planning our vow-renewal and springing it on him. Rev. Jay and Linda responded quickly and helped me plan the "cover" of just getting old-time western photos done before I popped the surprise on him. They kept the planning hush-hush and went out of their way to get impromptu props that went with our history together from many years back. I had only given them about a week's notice before the trip, and they accomplished their part and roles with humor, sincerity and deep affection for us as a couple. Hubby and I can joke with each other that we're lucky enough to be "second married" now. Once of my wants was for nice pictures of the two of us, because we don't have many. Linda set us up with a package for the whole deal, and for 20 or so pictures done by Jessica at the photo shop in our western garb.
I am so glad that we were able to be "second married" in Tombstone, and to have been officiated by Rev. Jay and his lovely Linda. This will remain a special memory always! -

We had Dr. Jay and Linda perform our wedding at Madam Mustache Old Time Photos. They did a great job. We had a fun and memorable ceremony. I would highly recommend the for a great wedding. -

Best Wedding Ever!!
Dr. Jay and Linda helped us to create the perfect wedding! My family and friends unanimously said it was the funnest wedding they had ever attended while still holding on to the deep commitment of matrimony. We all had so much fun and Dr. Jay and Linda were so great to make everyone feel a part of this special event. They will forever be a special part of our life.

If you found yourself on this website it means that you are seriously considering a once in a life time experience! Get out of your conform zone and take the beautiful ride to Tombstone Arizona!! We chose Dr. Jay and Linda and man, it was he best decision ever. I gotta admit, i was a bit skeptical but Linda constantly and i mean CONSTANTLY called and emailed with questions. These people really put in an effort to get to know us to give us the perfect moment. It was way more than i expected to be honest. It melted my heart to hear the introduction about how we met and the whole story behind it. Dr. Jay and Linda also gave us gifts (hand embroidered handkerchief, gift certificate, a Tombstone Police patch). They also arranged for us to be all dressed up and have our pictures taken by a pro (thank you Jessica!!!). It was the most wonderful moment of our lives!!! You think it end here? Hell no! We went to eat at O.K. Corals restaurant and they gave us a discount for getting married with Dr. Jay and Linda. Then we went at the Big Nose Kate's Saloon where they were waiting for us (again... Dr. Jay and Linda told them about the wedding) and they dressed us up and sang a song for us. I have never experienced such a warming welcoming and it seriously felt like home. Thank you so much for giving us the wedding of our dreams!!!! We will definitely see you for the anniversary!

Dr. Jay & Linda went out of their way to make our wedding day unique.
We are die hard Tombstone fans from WA state but wanted to get married in Tombstone, they answered every question, hooked us up with all the people we needed to set up arraignments with, Owners of the OK Corral, Florist, Photographer, hotel, county license department. They listened to our love story and surprised us by having 2 locals dressed the part to stage a shooting when he said does anyone here know any reason why these 2 should not be married! Oh & Dr. Jay ties a very strong KNOT! PS We were married October 26, 2012 at High noon at the Ok Corral on the day of the original shoot out 131 years later -

Dr. Jay and Linda made this day of our vow renewal the best we could have expected! They made it personalized and special! They were extremely quick in responding to questions, calls, and emails. We were married by Dr.Jay in the Tombstone Courthouse.
My husband and I were pretty nervous prior to the ceremony, but the moment Dr. Jay & Linda walked in, they put us at immediate ease.
The ceremony was tailored specifically for us. They built in all the things that were most important to us. And although there is a silly aspect to how we chose to get married, Dr. Jay delivered the words in a way that made it feel very spiritual & tremendously special.
In addition to the words being beautiful, he was hilarious! I looked through the wedding pictures after, and would say that in about 75% of them, my husband and I were laughing, heads thrown back and all! :)
Bottom line, is that I would recommend them in a heartbeat. If you want a special, fun day, tailored specifically for you - call them!!!!
I could continue on forever with all the good things I'd like to say...
They made our day magical!!!! -

After meeting for the first time, we feel like we have known them forever. Our ceremony was awesome. During our interview with them, they picked up on small things we said to make our ceremony personal. They took all the worries away and planned everything. We had so much fun. Kris Sent on 02/28/2018Jim and I decided to elope in Tombstone a week prior to getting married. As an event planner myself, I wanted to make sure that all the details were covered. We contacted Dr. Jay and Linda to set up a meeting with them. After visiting with Linda, we decided to book with them to perform our marriage vows the following week. They were very helpful in giving us ideas for a venue and other vendors that perform special services. We both decided we loved the Tombstone Courthouse! Dr. Jay and Linda were very prompt and perfectly dressed "Old Time Western" for the service.
Dr. Jay performed a wonderful ceremony that was very touching and related to our relationship to the "T". Humorous, friendly and serious...all in one!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Jan and Linda to perform your marriage vows... :) -

As a deeply Christian couple with Jesus at the center of all we do it was Imperative for us to have God at the center of our union and our ceremony. By simply telling Linda about our story they picked up on this beautifully. I didn't even tell them how important this was to us but they nailed it. They ask if there are any Scriptures you want added and based on all of the info you give them they write a ceremony specifically for you as a couple. What Dr. Jay had to say was so moving I think that everyone in the room was teary eyed. They also gave me a beautiful embroidered handkerchief. How thoughtful considering Woman tend to be criers. Thank you thank you thank you.
