  Professional and personable!

  Tom was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process with us. Not only did he spend an hour and a half talking to me a month before the wedding just to help calm my nerves but he was a consummate professional and very personable at the same time! He puts on a great show at the reception and will play to the crowds strengths to make it a great night. He was great with planning out the evening with us ahead of time so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy our day!

  If you want a professional DJ look no further...Tom McKnight is your guy!

  I have hired TMD for Birthday & Halloween parties in the past so when it came to choosing a DJ to do the most important event in my life...my daughter’s wedding there was no doubt he was my pick! Tom is professional, he knows how to work a crowd, & he stays updated on all music genre & new dances/trends. He stayed in constant contact with my daughter & I in the months leading up to the wedding. He even made the hour drive to the Venue just to meet with my daughter to ensure all her wishes for entertainment portion of her wedding would be fulfilled. I’ve known Tom since we were 15 yrs old and I’m so proud of the successful business he has built on his own doing what he loves best..,MUSIC! I guarantee You won’t be disappointed if you choose Tom for your DJ!

  I would give these gentlemen more than 5 stars. Tom and Russell were amazing to work with and we will definitely use them if we ever need a DJ again. They were affordable, easy to work with and excellent in every way. We hired them to do our outdoor wedding and it was flawless. Tom even called me ahead of time and suggested a timeline for the reception and events. Russell kept everyone on the dance floor at our reception. I heartfelt thank you to you both !!

  He made our reception better than we could imagine! Everyone came up to my husband and I telling us how great of a time they had and how the DJ really made them want to dance! Definitely would recommend.

  Tom did an amazing job at our wedding! We live in North Carolina and he helped us get everything sorted out over the phone for our wedding in Huntington. We are also a same-sex couple and he was more than willing to do our wedding. I'm very appreciative of his support and the job he did was superb. Also, he brought along his wife to help him and she was very nice as well. Five stars!

  Awesome DJ!! Great guy! Great show! Really fun on our wedding day!! Played the songs we wanted! It was perfect!!

  Easy to work with, listened to what song choices I wanted/didn't want, the quality, setup, lights etc were amazing!

  Tom responded immediately with no waiting when I asked him to DJ our wedding. He rearranged his schedule to be able to accommodate our wedding day. He even helped with videoing our event, and was helpful with other needed services as well! Highly recommend him and will always use him for our entertainment events.

  My experience was not what any bride would want to go through! I was asked multiple times whether the ceremony and reception needed to be done after already going through this with DJ, on my behalf I did forget to check the box for having both done so that is my fault however I thought after we had spoke he had wrote that down! I had curse words expressed to me through messenger, I was told by two professionals at my wedding the DJ was very rude and spoke ill towards my wedding! He was not happy with the area I provided for him at the reception and demanded that the table to be moved, I was unaware of any specific locations he wanted to be at until the night before the wedding after the venue had already been setup! I had several family members comment on how rude the DJ was towards them. I had guest at the wedding request different music to be played and was told the music he was playing was what he played before any of the dances, my guests and myself and husband were very unhappy with how our big day turned out!

  Disappointing

  The DJ gave us what I thought was a fair price when we first met with him & for a 6 hour wedding. We later decided to shorten the wedding & was told we still were required to pay the same price because of the short notice (2 weeks before the wedding) we understood & did not complain. As the wedding approached the DJ asked us to send everything he needed & so that was done in an extremely detailed form. The day he arrived to the venue he was very arrogant as if he knew everything & even told the groom how he had changed a couple of things because he did not like the way things were played out & didn’t want to look bad. We had an older crowd, we expressed this to him prior to the wedding, & he could clearly tell by looking around yet still blared the music as if it was an after party causing 90% of our guests to leave early. He performed the ceremony well, but when the reception came it was a complete let down. There were arguments between himself & our guests, multiple rude conversations between himself, the bride & the groom, & did not respect our wishes without an argument or a feeling that he was better than you. We did proceed at our wedding without a wedding planner, but we did everything in our power to run through every minute of the ceremony & reception with him via text, e-mail, Facebook message & in person & expected he would use his experience to accommodate our crowd & our wishes. He did neither & we were highly upset/disappointed resulting in us asking him to leave an hour into our reception, 2 hours from the start of the ceremony & in short paid $650 for 2 hours. I would not recommend this DJ unless you have a huge wedding & want a full on after party.
