Warm and welcoming venue
We absolutely loved this space. We thought we'd never afford a nice wedding, but we found Tinker House Events! Not only were they able to work within our budget to create a beautiful wedding, they were great at communicating every step of the way. We always felt like we knew exactly what was happening and when. Emma was particularly caring and kind throughout the process. We can't recommend this venue highly enough. -

We hosted our wedding at Tinker House Events in early December and could not have dreamed of a better experience! Nearly a year in advance, Emma was incredibly responsive with our questions and creative in helping our vision come to fruition. As the wedding approached, I was blown away on numerous instances where I knew I had something from another vendor (photographer, cater, DJ, etc.) that needed to be shared with Emma and team, but she usually was already aware due to her constant communication with everyone who had a role in our day.
The weekend of the wedding similarly exceeded expectations. Emma and Brittany were our day of coordinators and ensured everything was flawless and that we were able to truly enjoy the experience. We were constantly amazed by their thoughtfulness and their attention to detail - pulling some extra food to the side because they knew it was our favorite and wanted to ensure we got it; having drinks strategically placed around so that one was always available for us in waiting rooms, reception areas, etc. We also cannot say enough great things about how much these two also helped our families with ensuring they had everything they needed throughout the day.
As the night ended, the Tinker House Events team neatly packed everything up for us and left a cart so we can easily load out decor and serving items the next morning. We cannot say enough great things about these Tinker House Events and our coordinators: Emma and Brittany! Would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a remarkable and stress free experience. -

Choosing Tinker House Events as our wedding venue was by far one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. As anyone planning a wedding knows, the process can be so overwhelming, but Tinker House Events and Emma (our day of coordinator) made the process fun and as easy as possible. From their preferred vendors list to 3D renderings mocking up what the space will look like with our choices to monthly open houses, it's clear Tinker House has taken every step to support their couples. We opted for the day of coordinator package, and used the 2nd floor for our ceremony and reception with cocktail hour downstairs at Provider. Everything was perfect and seamless. Our guests raved the whole evening. If you're looking for a wedding venue, or just an event venue, you cannot do better than Tinker House and their team. -

Tinker House 10/10
My husband and I just held our wedding at Tinker House and it was the best night of our lives! The staff, specifically Emma and Brittany, were incredible. They were attentive to every need and made our vision come true. In addition to their professionalism, they were just lovely and kind people! Our guests were enthralled with the space and service. The vibe was nothing but love and party! Tinker House has incredibly visual interest and space to accommodate everyone aesthetic. As they say, 10/10 no notes! HIGHLY recommend! -

Tinker House Events did an amazing job with our wedding! What drew us to them was their upfront pricing and different pricing for weddings in/out of wedding season and depending on which day you wanted. They also have their calendar available online so you know if your date is available right away. We opted for the day of coordinator and planning package which was worth every penny. Emma is great! She is so organized and kept us on track with what we needed to do. They also have a list of vendors that they have worked with and have a good relationship with that made things so much smoother as well. Brittany was our day of coordinator and did an amazing job at our rehearsal and wedding keeping us on time and things moving. We had so many compliments on the bartenders too - the craft cocktails were a hit - special shoutout to Gray! -

Emma and the whole Tinker House team were truly amazing. We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. Not only is the venue beautiful, but they executed everything seamlessly and made the whole experience completely stress-free to let us fully enjoy our wedding day. If we could give more than 5 stars we would! -

Perfect Wedding Venue!!
My husband and I cannot say enough about our experience at Tinker House Events. Our wedding was truly the day of our dreams. Emma, our contact point and coordinator ensured all of our visions came to life. She was helpful, responsive and truly a delight to work with. The day of coordination package was worth every single penny, between the meetings leading up to our day, and the set up/tear down services, we couldn’t have done it without them. We had several guests report that the bar was simply the best wedding bar- fun and friendly bartenders and outstanding cocktails, you can’t go wrong. We opted for City BBQ which was an affordable and tasty preferred caterer through Tinker House Events. The space that the wedding was hosted in is beautiful- we had about 175 guests, which is close to the venues capacity, but did not feel overly crowded in the space. We had room to dance and mingle, but also felt intimate. We truly cannot recommend Tinker House Events more. -

Tinker House was our dream wedding venue! It was so lovely to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one space. We had 98 guests and Tinker was the perfect size to feel like we filled the space but weren't cramped at all. But the star of the show was our day of coordinator, Emma- we couldn't have done any of the amazing things we did without her! She was totally worth the extra cost, especially since we didn't have a traditional planner. I would recommend Tinker to anyone having a smallish wedding in Indiana. If we could go back, we would choose Tinker House every time! -

Lauren and I got married there on June 8th and we're so happy we chose Tinker House. We ended up also booking the Provider space for our cocktail hour, which was a great transition between ceremony and reception. The space has so much character that we kept decor simple but it's also neutral enough that you could make it your own and really go big on decor if you wanted.
Emma and her team were so helpful the day of and clearly had a lot of experience working weddings and large events. Emma was our day of coordinator and she was so helpful throughout the whole process that we felt that it was almost too easy. The bartenders were also amazing - we had so many people come up to us throughout the night commenting on the quality of the drinks and service.
I can't wait to get our photos back from the photographer because the space was such a great backdrop from the brick to the greenery wall to the coffeeshop space and all the natural lighting. Located right next to the Monon, we were able to take some nature-y photos as well!
The balcony was a big hit for many of our guests to get some fresh air after hitting the dancefloor. The bar is a legit bar - not a moveable dinky cooler box - which made it its own moment for our guests.
They have an elevator which was necessary for some of our guests, handicapped and elderly.
I cannot recommend Tinker House enough - the venue was amazing. -

We got married at Tinker House on 4/27/24 and had the BEST experience with the whole team.
First off our venue coordinator, Emma, was so sweet and knowledgeable. There are over 80 emails back and forth between us of her answering my millions of questions, all in a timely manner. We had multiple in person meetings with her and every time I left those I felt so organized and confident that we’d chosen the right team to work with. She made everything from wedding decor decisions, to decoration drop off/pick up, to the flow of our actual wedding day so smooth and stress free. If you have the opportunity to work with Emma, you are in VERY good hands.
The bar staff at Tinker House was also so, so kind every time we interacted with them. We were able to customize our bar menu with drinks that were special to us as a couple and got so many compliments on the drinks and the friendly staff.
And the space itself is just *chefs kiss*, so perfect. The lighting, the amount of space available, being able to rent out Provider for cocktail hour, the beautiful farm house tables, the gorgeous bridal suite - literally EVERYTHING was so perfect. If I could move in to that space, I would haha.
If you want a gorgeous, stress free day, I would 1000000% recommend Tinker House for your next event. -

We absolutely loved our wedding at the Tinker House! I can’t say enough about how knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive the staff were! Not to mention how beautiful this space is, it was perfect for our winter wedding! -

Tinker House did a great job with support for wedding timeline planning, decorations, special requests (such as bringing the dog during cocktail hour for photos), and ceremony and reception floor plans. Emma, the wedding account manager, is so easy to work with and always responsive. -

Not only is the space gorgeous, but Emma was a joy to work with and was exceptionally kind, responsive, and organized; she really made our vision come to life! The logistics of our wedding day went super smoothly, and everyone absolutely loved the vibe and ambiance of space. 10/10 would recommend!

Do yourself a favor and book your wedding at Tinker House Events. It is a beautiful location that requires minimal decoration because it is so beautiful on its own. The staff were AMAZING and so kind. It is so close to other Indy sites that it was perfect for our wedding. We had the perfect wedding and it was thanks to Tinker! Highly recommend to anyone looking at wedding venues. -

We loved renting Tinker House for our wedding! We held our ceremony and reception here. They have an adorable coffee shop downstairs you can rent to the upstairs can be flipped for the reception. The staff is friendly and flexible. It’s also close to downtown Indy which my out of town guests loved! I couldn’t imagine my wedding anywhere else! -

TINKER HOUSE IS A MUST-USE VENDOR!!! We toured a lot of similarly styled venues for our April wedding, but we knew the second we walked in that this place was for us. The first floor (by day - Provider Coffee Shop) was the PERFECT spot for an cool, fresh, vibrant cocktail hour. We opted for the ceremony and reception to both take place here and did a full room swap and everything was done flawlessly. We also used Christine Kingery as the wedding coordinator (she partners with Tinker House) and she and her team made our vision come to life effortlessly. Every spot inside and out of Tinker House is photogenic, and they have very affordable packages for every couple. The vendor lists they provide are also incredible and made planning that much easier. Our guests RAVED about this gem downtown. Ample parking, great balcony, incredible decor and vibe, amazing team. Wish i could give more than 5 stars!!! -

The minute my husband (then fiancé) stepped into Tinker, we knew it was the perfect place for our reception - in fact this is the only place we looked at. We initially met with Mo, who gave us a tour of the beautiful building. The event space is gorgeous. The bar, light fixtures, bridal room, the natural light from the windows, the exposed brick and amazing view of the city from the balcony makes not only a great atmosphere to celebrate in, but also a great atmosphere to have photos taken. The added bonus to this space is the trendy, sweet, and fun coffee shop (Provider) on the first level. We rented that space out for our cocktail hour and it was perfect. Our guests loved having the outdoor patio space. Nevertheless, the team behind the scenes is what makes this place so special. We worked with several different people throughout our planning and every person was extremely responsive to questions we had and were always willing to meet in person. Our day-of-coordinator, Robin, had everything set-up just as we imagined, kept our timeline on schedule, and made day easy for us. Overall, the night was flawless. Having Tinker as our reception venue was one of the best and easiest decisions we made and we cannot give a higher recommendation! -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Tinker House Events. From the moment we toured Tinker House, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful, with a warm, unique atmosphere that made our day feel truly special.
Our wedding coordinator, Emma B., was phenomenal! She was organized, attentive, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire planning process and on our wedding day itself. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them and made sure everything ran flawlessly.
The bartending team was also fantastic! They were friendly, professional, and efficient. We had multiple wedding guests mention how much they enjoyed the drinks at our wedding!
Choosing Tinker House was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue with an amazing team behind it, this is the place! -

Tinker House was the perfect location for our Indianapolis wedding. Our guests loved the staff, vibe of the event space, and the convenience of parking and location to the downtown hotels. We highly recommend this for any couple looking to have a great event space for their upcoming wedding! Couldn't recommend the space and staff enough.
