  We are so glad to be able to book Ting for our wedding day! She is very professional and talented. Not only she did an excellent job with my hair and makeup, Ting also was helping me on the big day with helpful tips and suggestions so the flow of the wedding went more smoothly!

  Ting and her team did an awesome job on my special day! Ting did a fabulous job with my hair and make up, she also did make up for my Maid of Honor, she liked her job a lot too. Ting is really professional and sweet, not only during the trail session she gave me a lot suggestions and tip, but also on the wedding day she calmed me down when I was anxious. She also helped me change between dresses and she was always available the whole day to do touch up for me to maintain the perfect look. She uses high quality make up products, and generously share the skin and make up products experience with me.

  Ting and her team - especially JESSICA! are amazing. From just a few inspiration photos (of people who weren’t even the same race as me, lol), they managed to put together a look that was stunning. When I asked for small adjustments here and there, they did them magically to get me to the exact look I wanted. Many of Ting’s clients are Asian, but they did a magnificent job on my non-Asian bridesmaids. One was a very fair-skinned redhead and the other had a super short haircut that they whipped into something magical. All the girls also didn’t seem to be bothered by their false lashes - sometimes unskillfully applied ones can get cumbersome by the end of a long day, but no problems like that here. Jessica was also so incredibly helpful on-site. She unstuck my wedding dress zipper for me, she taped my bra straps into the dress, and she went above and beyond all day.

  My special day is yesterday. Until now I still feel so excited. I can't wait to say thanks to Ting and I would like to recommend every bride comes to this talent make up artist.   Ting & her team are the absolute best. They love what they're doing, and it is reflected in the quality of their work. They are professional, but they are also genuine people who are fun to be around - this is really a plus on a long, potentially stressful wedding day full of preparations. They are flexible and willing to work with the different preferences of each client - with myself, 4 bridesmaids, and 2 moms alone, they cranked out different styles for everybody that still tied in to the overall theme & vibe I was trying to achieve with my wedding. They are on top of their stuff - my hair & makeup trial was set up far in advance, and we were able to make changes to the look to achieve an even better style for my wedding day. Schedules & timetables were arranged down to a tee - everything flowed smoothly on the wedding day. They deserve nothing but glowing recommendations!

  As with every bride on her special day, I wanted to feel BEAUTIFUL. Ting made me feel just that...BEAUTIFUL! Ting and her team are very professional, punctual, and competent. Ting was able to create two different looks for me. For the engagement photo session, Ting played up my eyes and gave me a more sexy and modern look. For the actual wedding day, she successfully created the romantic and not too overly formal look that I wanted for my bridesmaids and I. I highly recommend Ting and her team :)

  Ting did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. I actually booked her for my engagement photo session and was so happy with the makeup she had done, so I had to book her again for my wedding. Ting is such a humble and great person to talk to. She is very professional with her work and is very helpful with tips and ideas about anything. While Ting did my makeup, I was very comfortable and felt like I knew her for a long time. I never thought I would look flawless but Ting made it happen. I would recommend her to anyone that need their hair or makeup done. Price is up there but it's worth it because Ting will make you look even more beautiful.   Ting did my hair and makeup for my family photoshoot and she is a miracle worker! I can confidently say that she transformed me into a MILF for the day! The makeup looked great for both the indoor and outdoor shots. She made sure she knew what style of hair and makeup I wanted before she got started, and made some very good suggestions as well. I'm always referring people to her!

  I found TING Makeup & Hair from a wedding photographer's website and immediately, I fell in love with her work and was amazed by how great her works turned out in everyone's photo with no exception. I called her the same day and showed her the look I like, she then recommended of what will look the best on me and on photo. She further explained the process and reassured me with her plan and even with the products she used are high end quality brands. I decided to book her the same day, knowing that Im in a good hand.
  
  We exchange emails, texts and phones several times and each time she responded quickly, even answered some questions before I even ask. One month before my wedding, she asked me to send the bridal party's photos so she can plan their styles and two weeks before, she already has the timeline on my wedding day, corresponding with each bridal party along with her assistants with time slot, so we know exactly what to expect.
  
  On my wedding day, everything went smoothly and everyone looks amazing even with my mother and MIL who are a little hard to please. My hair and makeup looks fantastic even last till the very end of the night without feeling oily. The compliments didn't stop coming throughout the day even after that one of my friend wants to book Ting for her own wedding.
  
  Her attention to details, super organized and extremely professional skills really set her apart from other makeup artists. She loves what she does and how she went above and beyond from beginning to end was something I really appreciated. Being an out of town bride with limited time and resource in LA to have Ting as my makeup artist was hassle free, but pleasure to work with. Even with some referrals she gave me that I hire for my wedding were all top-notch services. I absolutely LOVED my makeup and hair and so does everyone else on my bridal party. Highly Recommended! Thank you for helping me look beautiful on my big day and the experience was beyond 5 stars.

  Ting is an AMAZING, WONDERFUL and PROFESSIONAL makeup artist!
  I want to share my excellent experience working with her.
  I was asked to be one of her student’s models for Ting Makeup & Hair’s bridal class session in July 2012. After visiting her class, I found myself interested in learning makeup as well. She was very sweet and easy to communicate with. Ting offered me a private class since I had busy schedule for work and school and cannot join the group class. Ting accommodated my schedule and I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot through her lessons. She is really organized and no doubt about her profession when I looked at her works. I could feel her passion for her work and was happy she could share that with me. Ting even tells me that whenever I have question or concern, she will be happy to help. At the end of the class, what I found it surprisingly was that I did not only learn how to apply makeup on me but also learn to know about myself. I became more confident than before. I think feeling confidence is very important especially for people who become bride-to-be. I really thank Ting for the lesson and definitely will recommend to everybody when they need a makeup artist for their special occasion ☺
  

  Ting is an AMAZING, WONDERFUL and PROFESSIONAL makeup artist!
  I want to share my excellent experience working with her.
  I was asked to be one of her student’s models for Ting Makeup & Hair’s bridal class session in July 2012. After visiting her class, I found myself interested in learning makeup as well. She was very sweet and easy to communicate with. Ting offered me a private class since I had busy schedule for work and school and cannot join the group class. Ting accommodated my schedule and I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot through her lessons. She is really organized and no doubt about her profession when I looked at her works. I could feel her passion for her work and was happy she could share that with me. Ting even tells me that whenever I have question or concern, she will be happy to help. At the end of the class, what I found it surprisingly was that I did not only learn how to apply makeup on me but also learn to know about myself. I became more confident than before. I think feeling confidence is very important especially for people who become bride-to-be. I really thank Ting for the lesson and definitely will recommend to everybody when they need a makeup artist for their special occasion ☺

  I am the kind of bride will do a lot of research for the wedding, see many samples and pictures from different vendors and compare. To me, make-up artist and photographer are the 2 most important people in the wedding. At the end of wedding, all we have left are photos and memory. We MUST look Beautiful!!!
  I can say that i fell in love with Ting's make-up on the first sight. But I still did more research on different make-up artists (just in case :P ) but none of them gave me that natural, and gorgeous feeling that Ting can give me. I hate those old school heavy make-up and make your face look fake with inch thick of foundation. But with Ting's techique and high quality cosmetic product (she doesn't use any cheap stuff, LOL) , my face feels light, but hide all my flaw, make me feel like a real pretty princess. Ting, herself is a very trendy person, so she designed some elegant but fashionable hairstyle to match each of my dresses. Love each one of them.
  On my weding, the team is extremely professional. They all got to my house before 6am in the morning. Everything goes super smoothly. was afraid of any extra stress on the wedding day. And Ting did a wonderful to go through my schedule with me and we did a trial session. That really helped a lot.

  Ting Makeup & Hair is simply amazing. I told her that I wanted to do an "Alice in Wonderland" theme photoshoot for my 30th Birthday, after she heard my idea, she not only was excited about it, she came back giving me more ideas and help make this photoshoot more adventure and extra fun and memorable!
  
  She give me inputs on the style and outfit I should go with and then help me look for accessories that matches with my outfit. Besides the amazing hair and makeup work she did, she went ahead and research on ideas of props and help guide me to see this photoshoot adventure as a whole.
  
  We end up doing 3 different styles/looks that represents different stages of my life. 1st was Little Red Riding Hood, representing the time when I was lost and trying to search in direction of life. 2nd was Alice in Wonderland, representing that clock is ticking and time is running out. And 3rd, Queen style, representing that after years of searching, Im now a confident and stronger women.
  
  I was amaze that Ting went beyond what I ask for and gave me this makeovers that I've never thought it would work on me. Thank you Ting Makeup & Hair for this wonderful adventure we work together. You are definitely 1st in my list.

  Decided to have Ting as my wedding day makeup artist was the best decision I have made throughout my wedding planning. She was such an easy going and caring person. Whenever I reached out to her with inquiries or questions, she responded very quickly with all the information I needed. The first time I met Ting in person was the day of my makeup trial session. Even though we just met, but I felt like we have known each other for a long time. She was so easy and fun to talk to and very knowledgeable on makeup. I picked some hairstyle photos that I liked before going to my makeup trial session. Ting advised me on the hairstyle that goes well with my personality and wedding theme. I am glad I listened to her! I got so many compliments. Our makeup trial session was like an afternoon tea party. We had a great time chatting about weddings, makeup, accessories, and everything related to weddings. Ting also advised me on the accessories that I could use on my big day! She really has good tastes and I was confident that I would be in good hands having Ting and her team to help me on my wedding day. One thing I love Ting the most is that she treats you like her friend instead of a client. She really tried to get to know me and perform her work based on that. When I browsed Ting’s portfolio, all the brides looked stunning and more importantly, their makeup and hair revealed the best of them. On the wedding day, even though she had a prior appointment with another bride, she and her team arrived on time. Ting’s team was very professional and organized. My bridesmaids also enjoyed working with them. They did an awesome job on all of us! I couldn’t be happier with their work!   My husband and I were very fortunate to have Ting as our make-up stylist for our LA engagement session as well as our wedding reception, which took place in Laguna Beach. Ting is such a loving, creative, talented, and easy-going person to work with. Before even meeting with her, we exchanged countless emails across two continents (since I currently live in Taiwan) discussing ideas and styles we want to incorporate into our photo shoot. She shared many great inspirations and previous work that she has done, which all of them were very useful.
  During the trial session, Ting showed me many possible hairstyles and accessary choices that I wish I could have them all! For our daylong engagement session around Orange County, Ting was at my side every step of the way making sure my hair and make-up were perfect for the camera. She’s also fully prepared with all her tools and accessary collections. Ting showed 100% efficiency and professionalism during the shoot, and with her help, our photos came out beyond our imagination!
  On our wedding day, thanks to Ting, I completely felt like a princess. With her delicate make-up and lovely hair style, being her bride was truly a lucky experience. Working with Ting was pleasant, fun, and satisfying. I am grateful for what she’s done to make my engagement session and wedding day so memorable and amazing.

I still looked like myself, but just a more polished version of me and I loved it. I didn't give much direction to Ting regarding how I wanted my bridesmaids hair to look, but Ting and her assistant did a beautiful job. My flower girl couldn't stop smiling after Ting put her hair up in the most adorable messy-ballerina-bun to match her tulle flower girl dress. Thanks to Ting and her assistant, my bridal party all looked amazing!!
