Wedding Perfection!

Tims florist did an amazing job on my son's wedding. Everyone complimented the flowers. Jimmy was amazing and helped us through the whole process. My second son is getting married in September and we are receiving the same exceptional service from the team at Tims! The flower designs are so beautiful and creative. I highly recommend them. I LOVED Tim's Florist and Gail! They did such an amazing job on my wedding! I loved absolutely everything they did, and I had so much fun planning with Gail, and my Mom and Husband loved her as well. She is so great at what she does, and just has so much expertise and experience I felt like I was in the very best of hands. I was so stressed with all the other planning that I can't believe how much trust and just excitement she inspires. I was so excited to go to Tim's or call to check in during the planning process. She nailed absolutely everything. My Wedding at the Riviera was so beautiful because of all the work they did at Tim's Florist. It was elegant and romantic and traditional all at the same time which is exactly what I wanted. You won't be disappointed with this Florist if you use them, just communicate what you want and show pictures and Gail definitely will do an amazing job! They did so much for me, from the boutonnieres, bouquets, parent's house, church pews, altar, reception, cake, and welcome sign! They are worth every penny, and so reasonably priced!

Flowers were never a high priority on my wedding list. I wanted simple lantern centerpieces with a small ring of flowers around it. When Tim’s was recommended to me by my best friend who used them last November, she had nothing but great things to say about them! Gail and her sister, Susan, run the shop together and they are definitely a dynamic duo! I mostly worked with Gail in my experiences but Susan was also very friendly and helpful! I told Gail what my vision and budget was and she was able to bring that vision to life without going a penny over budget! I was able to come in for a sample of my centerpiece before solidifying that decision which was so helpful and put my mind at ease! The day of the wedding, the delivery man brought all the bouquets and boutonnieres to me first to make sure everything looked nice and was accounted for, then he brought the remaining flowers to the groom’s getting ready place. Every single centerpiece was gorgeous and we got so many compliments on how simple and elegant they were! I had given Gail some extra lanterns so she displayed them around the venue so they wouldn’t go to waste! What a great idea! Throughout my whole process with Tim’s Florist, they were attentive to me and my vision and to the details in their work! Simply beautiful! Thank you so much to Gail, Susan and everyone at Tim’s florist!

Gail and the team over at Tim’s Florist was a lifesaver. After a dispute with another florist, Tim’s was a breath of fresh air. Our ceremony flowers, centerpieces and cake décor were all absolutely beautiful. Most of all, Tim’s offers a gorgeous Edison light installation which really added something “extra” to the already rustic décor of our venue. Their prices are extremely reasonable, their service is dependable and their professionalism is warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend them for any of your floral needs, be it a wedding or just picking something up for someone special.

Gail and everyone at Tim's Florist were so wonderful to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. We live out of state and Gail always made sure to make an appointment time for when we were in if we needed. She did a centerpiece trial based on some initial pictures we sent her and sat with me (the bride) as we added and took away things right then and there. My emails and phone calls were always promptly returned and she was very patient with our indecision. On the day of, the flowers came out so beautiful; we couldn't have asked for better. They lasted all day and were totally Pinterest-worthy. People were racing to take the centerpieces home at the end of the night.

We used Tim's for our wedding at the Riviera and I could not be happier with them. They were amazing! Gail is such a sweetheart and helped me stay within my budget! She didn't try to upsell me, it was like working with a friend.

I told her what I wanted, showed her a few pictures and she made it all come to life! The flowers, everything from my bouquet, centerpieces and mantel garlands turned out better then I could have ever imagined... everything was just gorgeous! PERFECT!

I HIGHLY recommend Tim's Florist!

Tim's Florist did such an incredible job on my wedding flowers - they were the florist for my wedding venue (The Riviera), and I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to work with them! We worked with Gail - she is so friendly and worked with us to make sure we were completely satisfied. Gail was honest with me about some of my requests - I wanted a specific flower that wasn't in season. They weren't sure if they could get it or if it would bloom in the cold weather, but in the end they did and it was beautiful! They were also really flexible with the many, many changes I kept making to what I wanted.

The day of the wedding, all of the flowers arrived on time and were even more beautiful than I had even imagined. I wanted more rustic, natural-style arrangements and bouquets, and Tim's Florist did a perfect job of making my vision a reality. The delivery person was so nice and even stayed a few minutes to teach us how to put on the boutonnieres (thank goodness he did, we would have been clueless). The flowers were incredibly fresh and lasted all night. We received so many compliments on how beautiful they were!

I am just so thrilled with the work Tim's Florist did for my wedding and hope to work with them again in the future!

The flowers were beautiful and the lady who worked with us was very helpful. She never tried to upsell me to something more expensive, I explained what I wanted and she helped me choose the correct flowers even though the ones I wanted were very cheap. They will make sure you get exactly what you want and will not over charge.

Our experience with Gail from Tim's Florist was amazing. She is friendly and easy to work with. The flowers were beautiful and stayed vibrant all day long. Gail was so easy to work with and knew exactly what I was looking for the second I walked in the door. I kept things super simple, but Gail knew exactly how to make my vision come to life. She even spent the time applying burlap/lace to each vase to go with my rustic theme, and I can't thank Gail and her team enough for making the whole flower process as easy as possible.

What a fantastic florist and experience for my wedding! Tim’s Florist is the house florist for the Riviera in Massapequa. Part of booking your wedding with the Riviera, Tim’s Florist provides your centerpieces for free! We worked with Gail (an amazing woman and owner) to create our custom bouquets for myself, my bridesmaids, and the boutonnieres and corsages. Her prices were absolutely fine, and the flowers were GORGEOUS! Gail delivered our flowers on time in water, and they stayed alive and vibrant throughout the entire day, (it was the hottest day of the summer so far) and for days later in a vase of water. I will definitely be recommending Tim’s Florist to my friends and family! Thank you Gail!

I worked soley with Gail at Tim's Florist and found her to be friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to do business with! I had an idea of what flowers I wanted but no real vision and she totally helped me turn my ideas into a beautiful reality! My wedding had a rustic theme, the flowers ranged in color and style, and lots of baby's breath. Even when I added gazebo flowers several weeks before she made it happen. I would definitely recommend!

I am not a flower person at all...but I knew what I wanted my vision to be...romantic...roses...beautiful and that is exactly what I got. I was in awe over the flowers I received. I changed my mind in the process of planning of what I wanted they were so patient with me. flowers arrived at my home on time and then the rest were brought to the hall. everything was breathtaking. I would recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful flowers for their wedding.

When I first met with Gail, I had no idea what I really wanted in terms of flowers. To be honest, I wasn't even excited about figuring out the flowers, I just wanted to check that off my never ending list. As soon as my mom and mother-in-law got to Tim's though that mentality totally changed. Gail was so personable and helpful - she showed us albums and albums of her past work and everything was beautiful. Meeting with Gail and discussing what I like and what I didn't like helped us all figure out a vision for my wedding. I got married at the Riviera and Gail and her team did an amazing job. The outdoor ceremony area looked gorgeous and the reception hall looked even better (if possible). I got so many compliments on the table arrangements and flowers in general.

On the day of the wedding the bouquets and boutonnieres arrived on time and were beautiful. My bridal bouquet was perfect. Everything was exactly as discussed - the colors were perfect. In addition, throughout the planning process my husband and I changed our minds a lot. We added the tulle to the reception ceiling and decided to add flowers as cake toppers. It was very easy to get in touch with Gail and make the necessary changes. Finally, for the amount of flowers that we ordered (between the bridal party, reception area, and ceremony area) I thought the price was very fair. The flowers were beyond gorgeous. Thank you!

I love, love, love, love, LOVE the gorgeousness that Gail and her team created for our wedding - and for such a reasonable price! When we first met with Gail, I had a good idea about what I wanted for flower colors and style, and I brought a few photos of bouquets and lantern floral centerpieces I found online to demonstrate what I was after. She got it and exceeded it - I look back at those sample photos now and am amazed at how they pale in comparison to what Gail did. My mom and I met with Gail several times leading up to the wedding, and although the shop is busy, we never felt rushed and always had her full attention. When we arrived at our reception hall (The Riviera, where Tim's is the house florist), I was so thrilled to see Gail putting the finishing touches on the centerpieces, cake, and placecard table with great detail. My bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets were beautiful, but Gail absolutely lit up our reception hall with her centerpieces and other details.

Gail and her family were so welcoming from the start. They understood exactly what I wanted for my bouquet and for the centerpieces. When I saw my bouquet, I was almost in tears, it was better than I could have ever dreamed of. I was so happy that she was able to get peonies for my flowers, and they were gorgeous with a little pink/purple in the middle. The centerpieces were amazing as well. I was very jealous of everyone else who took them home because they were so beautiful, I wanted to look at them all day! The prices were very reasonable. Thanks for making my day even more beautiful!

Tim's florist provided absolutely gorgeous flowers for my wedding day. I met with Susan in store to pick out in general what I wanted for my bouqets and centerpieces and then was able to change a few things over the phone. The flowers turned out more beautiful than I could hope for!

I first decided to check out Tim's florist because they had done a wonderful job on my husband's grandmother's funeral. I went in and met with Susan she was great she knew what I wanted and showed me some colors and designs. I did not do floral centerpieces so I only needed bouquets. After meeting with them I shopped around a little bit but no one could beat their price and knowing how beautiful their flowers were already and the quality I knew I had to go back and book them. The day of the ceremoy the flowers were gorgeous the colors popped with my bridesmaid dresses they just stood out and I was extrememly pleased! Tiims florist was top notch and I will use them again for all my floral needs!

What an incredible florist! Gail and Susan were such a joy to work with and exceeded our expectations. They brought our ideas to a whole different level from where we started. Our flowers were amazing. People could not stop talking about the freshness and beauty of the bouquets and the centerpieces. My vision for flowers was a bit different so they went with it with excitement! They are true artists. The flowers added such a beauty to the room. I was honored to walk down the aisle with my bouquet. All areas of the room were brightened by the glow. The price was quite reasonable and well-worth the money. I highly recommend!!!!

I was the bride who tried to get OUT of having flowers for our wedding. I'm not a big "flower person" and didn't want to spend the money on them. I'm glad that my friends and family convinced me that I needed flowers - because Gail and Sue at Tim's Florist did an AMAZING job! They were friendly, quick to understand "my vision", and reasonably priced (especially considering the fact that I didn't want to spend money on flowers). My bouquet (with hydrangea, roses and calla lilies) was nothing short of breathtaking - and lasted the whole day without wilting. Take it from the "cheap-o anti-flower bride", if you book with Tim's you won't be disappointed!

I wasn’t too picky with flowers. Originally I wanted hydrangeas but after getting my sample and seeing how fast they die, I decided against it. I told Gail and Sue that I wanted yellow flowers with starfish for everything except mine and DH’s boutinerre. I wasn’t disappointed. They found these small starfish and must have made them orange. They were better than what I envisioned. This florist was very reasonably priced and I used them for other events, such as bridal shower and engagement party.

Found the owners to be very friendly, knowledgable, and easy to work with. They also did not try to pressure me into spending a ton of money, which I appreciated. The day of, everything looked gorgeous and was delivered on time.

Sue was great to work with. All of our flowers were beautiful and just as we requested. Their pricing is great. The only mishap that happened with them is they forgot my throw-away bouquet which made me have to throw my real bouquet during the reception. At first I was very upset about this but my flower girl caught the bouquet and was so happy, she slept with it that night! All in all I would still go back and use them again for a future event.

Thank you Tim's Florist for the BEAUTIFUL Floral arrangements for my wedding! I got married on June 17 2016 at the Riviera at Massapequa. Tim's was the preferred vendor, and I'm so happy that we were pointed in their direction.
Very professional Staff that actually listened to my requests. My husband and I were pleased that all of our requests were met, and everything was reviewed on the day we made our final payment.
My bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, corsages & boutonnieres were all beautiful. We had high and low floral arrangements for our tables and a simple floral piece at our altar. The floral arrangements made everything that I had dreamed up possible.
Thank you Tim's Florist for helping my vision come true! Highly recommend!

Gail at Tim's was wonderful during the booking process. She was totally flexible with what I wanted to do, especially for my centerpieces. They glued ribbons I purchased around my vases for me. They added the bling I bought for each rose in the centerepices. My bridesmaids fall colored mini calla lilly bouquets were amazing. The colors were so alive! I also loved my bouquet although I just had white mini callas. They were very pretty and exactly what I asked for.

We decided to use Tim's Florist since they are the recommended vendor for our wedding venue, the Riviera. Gail was very friendly and met with me to discuss the vision for my wedding day. She offered great prices, wasn't pushy at all, and threw in several things for free. My only concern was that she seemed very busy and I always felt a little rushed in person and over the phone. Because of this, there were several mistakes with our contract and sample centerpieces, but to Gail's credit she did take care of these issues quickly. Similarly, on the day of the wedding, my bouquet arrived with a bunch of greenery (i.e., leaves sticking out) and the bridesmaid's bouquets still had the brownish outer petals on them. My day-of-coordinator contacted Gail and she returned right away to fix the bouquets. Overall, everyone thought the bouquets and centerpieces were gorgeous on the day-of. I do wish the communication had been a little better on the days leading up to the wedding; however, I realize that the floral business is a busy one, especially in June. Everything worked out beautifully in the end.

Tim's was the house vendor for our venue and centerpieces were included with our package. We met with Gail who was wonderful. She understood what I wanted, told me what wouldn't work and offered alternative suggestions. Throughout the planning process she was great. I purchased wood boxes for the centerpieces with liners as she had suggested and pails to line the aisle with. Before the wedding I dropped the boxes, pails and my bouquet charm off. We saw the mock up of what the centerpiece would look like. She never mentioned any issue with the box. On the day of the wedding, the bouquets showed up at the hotel on time. My bouquet was perfect, the bridesmaids bouquets were nice. As I was getting ready to leave the hotel my dad asked to see the bouquet charm and that's when I realized it wasn't there. We checked around to make sure it hadn't fallen off so I called Gail and asked about it. She apologized, asked me where we were headed and said she would meet me there to put it on the bouquet. A little while later she called back with a very different tone, saying I never gave her the charm. I explained to her that it was in with the boxes and pails and she got very nasty saying that it couldn't have been in there because she had to pull the box apart because all of my centerpiece boxes leaked. Why was the leaking not an issue when she did the mock up? Why bring that up now? The centerpieces were wrong as well but that was a miscommunication on both parts due to similarly named flowers. Gail came and fixed that but I never saw her. She could have come to find me to discuss the charm but didn't. Many people have said I should have asked for money back for losing that charm but it wasn't about the money for me. It was the sentiment of having my grandparents and the grooms mom with us on our wedding day. It's a great disappointment not to have that charm. So while the flowers and venue were beautiful I can't help but be disappointed with Tim's.

While the staff at Tim's was super friendly and responsive before the wedding, the day of I was pretty disappointed in our flowers.

The bridesmaids bouquets were about the only thing that were exactly what I wanted- a mix of all yellow flowers. My bouquet was supposed to mainly be poppies with a mix of yellows/pinks/oranges/greens. There were no poppies whatsoever and was basically a bigger version of the BM bouquets. So- it was pretty but not what I wanted. Plus when my MOH called to ask them about the poppies, the woman she spoke to was far from friendly and told her that the "poppies were orange" (not sure why that mattered, but I didn't speak with her myself) and that she was already on her way to another wedding- even though we were told they only do 1 wedding a day when we first booked.

Similarly, the bouttanieres for the GM were what I wanted but the groom's was supposed to be more elaborate and colorful. Instead- it was the same with one extra billy ball. There were supposed to be no roses whatsoever but the fathers' bouts and mothers' corsages were all roses.

Reception: The table arrangements were again supposed to be a mix of poppies and other flowers in yellow/pink/green/orange. They were only yellow and very sparse. While we were going for the rustic look with a few vases per table, it really looked like someone picked a few filler flowers outside and stuck them in vases.

Ceremony: Ordered wildflower bouquets for the ends of the aisles- instead was just bunches of baby's breath. The $500 archway was very bare and mainly twisted willow and lacked the floral elements we discussed.

Overall-nothing TERRIBLE and very friendly service while we were planning. But we expected more (and were lead to expect such) and felt extremely disappointed that it wasn't delivered.

My flowers eventually looked great and price was right but they don't follow directions well. Any time I'd call they hadn't taken a message for whom I left one or didn't make a notation on my contract regarding things I wanted. They did what they could to "make things right" but my flowers should have been ivory and burgundy and instead I got ivory, HOT PINK, and purple. I don't know if I would recommend them. Very nice but didn't exactly execute the job as I had hoped.

Met with Gail who assured us that someone (if not herself) would meet us at the hotel to assist the groomsmen with putting on the boutonnières. The man who came dropped off the box, said "I don't know how to do that" and left. I asked for simple rose bouquets for my BMs and not only were there greens showing it looked like a five year old assembled the bouquets. They came sopping wet. I asked for two simple low white flower arrangements for the church with no greens, got two large green arrangements. Asked for red rose petals for the church got petals in every other color - peach, pink, white. My requests couldn't have been more specific and basic (red, white, no green) and Gail found a way to bungle it! Thanks for ruining this portion of my wedding.
