Timothy John Salon was the perfect decision for a hair and makeup team for my wedding on 8/13/2022. We had a total of 12 girls that got hair and makeup done by the team on the morning of the wedding and everyone looked so good thanks to Timothy John Salon! On the wedding day, Emma did my updo and Shelly did my makeup. I also had my nails done at the salon by Kathy and got a blowout from Katie for my rehearsal dinner. All were very talented and a pleasure to spend time with. My bridesmaids were very pleased with their stylists from the salon as well. The team was very efficient and organized. I would definitely recommend booking Timothy John Salon for your wedding! -

If you’re looking for event hair and makeup TimothyJohn Salon does an amazing job! They have a room full of very talented ladies and made my wedding party and I feel so beautiful on 8.21.21! A wedding day can be very stressful, especially when it comes to being on time and having hair & makeup last all day long. For my wedding day there were 14 women all getting hair, makeup & lashes done. We were on time and everything lasted all day! Thank you Timothy John Salon for doing such a great job and making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! 10/10 would recommend to any bride! -

Katie and her hair team were AMAZING on my wedding day and my trail day. They helped the moms, bridal party and myself have beautiful hair that held up all day in 90 degree heat! Shelly, with the help of Katie, did all of our makeup, which also held up with the 90 degree heat. I felt and looked beautiful on my wedding day and I owe it the TJ team! They were friendly and professional while on site. Thanks ladies!! -

Shelby did our hair for my sister's wedding and I loved her so much, I booked her for my wedding later in the year! She was completely professional and did an amazing job!! For my wedding, they already had other weddings booked, but worked with my schedule, brought in extra girls to save time and made it work. I was extremely happy with the results! -

Low-stress wedding day
They did a great job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. They also did all of my bridesmaid’s hair and my mother and my mother in law’s hair! They traveled out to our venue (Pear Tree Estate). I had people complimenting my hair and makeup all night :) -

Nikki Sent on 11/03/2017i don't normally fill out reviews but I had to say how amazing and flexible Timothy John Salon was on my wedding day. I live in Chicago so all of my vendors were on recommendations. I called Timothy John and, for a small fee, they would have Shelby and Emma come out to the location i was getting married at so my girls and I could get ready together. They were on-time, professional and super creative. Biggest gamble about it was that before the day of my wedding, I'd never met Shelby or Emma - nor did i have a trial run on my hair. I did show them a picture of what i was looking for and my hair looked more amazing than I'd even pictured. All of my girls were super happy and everyone looked and felt beautiful. Kelly Sent on 10/31/2017Timothy John Salon and Spa is an absolutely amazing salon. 10/10 :) Not only is it cozy and welcoming, but everyone who works there is so nice and upbeat! I started going to Shelby Dunn at the beginning of this year. She turned my brunette hair into the perfect blonde that I was wishing for. She was caring, sweet, and always so fun. She made the monthly two hour appointments enjoyable! She not only did my practice wedding day hair, but she did an absolutely perfect job on the day of my wedding. It lasted the entire day and night- and maybe the next day too, haha. The salon was so accommodating for all 11 of my girls on the morning of my wedding, as well as my videographer! They listened to all of my girls' requests with both their hair and makeup styles. They also allowed us to bring in mimosas and food. It was such a fun way to start off the best day of my life. I cannot thank Timothy John Salon and Spa, Shelby, and all of the other women who helped us get ready for my wedding day! I highly recommend this salon to anyone who has any hair or make up needs, as well as someone who wants to start their wedding day off in a relaxed, fun way.
