Excellent, second time we engaged the services of Timo. His energy is infectious and it is a rarity that one is sitting as all are on the dance floor. All ages from little tikes to the old geezers responded every so well to his synergistic approach.

Timo went above and beyond his job as a DJ and helped coordinate a itinerary for the party as well which I appreciate. He's full of enthusiasm and ideas. We weren't crazy about some of the country music he played and didn't hear our requested songs so in that respect we weren't pleased but overall he was committed to making the event memorable.

DJ Timo absolutely made our son's bar mitzvah. He was energetic and kept the partying moving. The party was a completely success and DJ Timo was big part of that success. Even more importantly, Timo was crucial to organizing and coordinating with all of the other vendors (photographer/photo booth/ hotel). It was like having a party planner and DJ rolled into one. I could not be more enthusiastic about Timo. I would highly recommend him to anyone for a bar/bat mitzvah party, or any other type of event.

Timo helped entertain 60 5th graders for a holiday party we recently held. We could not have done it without him. He kept the kids engaged and on the dance floor for 2.5 hours and left them wanting more at the end! We were nervous that the kids wouldn't want to dance but Timo made it engaging for them with games, fun music, taking video and just being out there with them the whole time. I would highly recommend Timo for any DJ opportunity, particularly for a pre-teen/teenage age group. We have decided to make our party an annual event and have asked Timo come back to join us next year!

Timo is the best and truly makes each and every party. This was the 2nd time we have used him and he genuinely rocks! We can't wait to use him again for our next Simcha.

Timo was great! The kids (and adults) were fully engaged and loved every minute! From the very beginning, he was very organized and focused on my event being a success. It's like getting a party-planner and Dj in one. He is experienced and professional & allowed me to relax & enjoy the party. Several guests raved that he was the best they have ever seen!

Timo was absolutely amazing! When my husband and I first got engaged, one of the very first decisions that we made was having Timo as our DJ. My husband previously got to experience him in action at a previous event, and was certain that he wanted to make sure we had booked him for our special day! When we first got in contact with Timo, I immediately noticed Timo's energy and sense of fun! He was so very excited to come up with ideas and just get to know who we were as individuals. We met in person a few months before the wedding to talk details and scheduling. We made many notes and he made suggestions that we never even thought of! Thankfully he already played events at our venue, so he already knew where everything would work and started to see the vision we had in mind. I was always very excited to work with him on music lists and making sure we were both on the same page. When the Big Day finally arrived, Timo was already early and ready to go! He found my exact songs that I wanted for the ceremony, and by the time of the reception he already had the whole crowd ready to have a great time! The whole night he was making everyone laugh and he even brought Hula Hoops and Tambourines for the kids! We had so many compliments on how we had the perfect DJ for our wedding, and we couldn't agree more! Timo from Texas Disk Jockeys is incredible, and you should definitely book him for your next event! :)

Timo was fantastic. He was flexible and responsive to our daughter's desires. He could adjust on the fly and was able to be what 15 and 16 year old's needed in a DJ... Fun, but in a more adult kind of way.

Timo is the BEST DJ I have every worked with. Austin Jewish Academy and Shalom Austin hosted our first annual Daughter Dance and Timo was a key contributor to the success of the event. His ability to entertain, engage and put smiles on faces is unmatched. The lighting, props, commentary, great music selection and his bountiful charisma kept everyone on their feet and boogying to the beat. His professionalism and expertise made it a joy to work with him. He assisted us with many aspects outside of the scope of a typical DJ. Many of the recommendations he made to enhance both the promotion and event experience proved to be extremely effective and impactful, ultimately raising the bar on our event. I look forward to collaborating with Timo on our future events. What a gift!!

Our elementary school held its first Daughter/Son dance this past Sunday. Timo made the party! He was so much fun and had everyone involved and dancing from the little brothers and sisters to the moms and dads. He was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him!

DJ TIMO is simply amazing. From helping us set up the room for the best dance area, to playing amazing fun music and bringing tons of pretty lights and HOOLA HOOPS! We had a fantastic time and didn't stop dancing the whole time. I will definitely use DJ Timo again and recommend him for any time of school dances, bar/bat Mitzvahs or even just for fun!

Timo has worked with Barton Creek Country Club several times and when I started I was told Timo doesn't just DJ the party, he is the Party. That couldnt be more true. I have personally worked with Timo on two events and I cannot express how incredible he is. He blows me away every time. Our most recent event was a Parent Child Dance at our Country Club. We created a "Game Show" which Timo hosted and brought to life with little advance info of the details. He engaged the kids and kept the parents interested and laughing through the entire event. Timo adapts to your exact needs and takes complete charge of the room. He will motivate your staff, advertize future events and keep the energy up from the first second your guests enter until the moment they walk out the door. Even though this is in regards to a past event I need to share more info about our Halloween Howl Party. 300 kids, Bounce Castle, Pumpkin Carving and Facepainting in a medium sized ballroom. MEYHEM! I had to split my time that evening between 3 events. When I returned after the event every parent I interacted with was telling me how impressed they were with the events organization and ow well the DJ controlled the room and made them feel like their children were safe and entertained. If you are looking for someone who will take charge of a space and ensure that every parent and child will leave entertained and feeling that they have just been involved in the most organized, fun and engaging event, DJ Timo is your guy. Worth every penny and more!

We have used DJ Timo many times and he is the most professional DJ we have ever worked with. He arrives early, sets up quickly, adds helpful accessories for the dance (like hula hoops and black lights), and has a wonderful relationship with our venues. He is also really in tune with middle school kids and can sense the mood in the room and change the music/activity accordingly. Very professional and fun!!
We do not want to have another dance without him!!

Timo is an awesome DJ. I have never seen that high a percentage of 13 year olds dancing and having a great time on the dance floor. Timo does a great job managing the energy. His very professional and we plan to use him again!

Timo was AMAZING! He helped us incredibly during the process of planning my daughter's Bat Mitzvah because he is extremely knowledgeable about resources in Austin and what planning a big event like this entails. Besides the fact that he was an amazing DJ, was so much fun, kept our guests entertained, busy, and knowing exactly what was going on, he was such a super nice and supportive person to have on my team and we can't wait to have him as our DJ at our younger daughter's Bat Mitzvah in a couple of years!

Timo was so professional and full of great ideas on how to keep teenage boys entertained! He also managed to get the adults dancing :). Everyone had a fabulous time and we couldn't be more pleased with how smoothly Timo kept things running. He is also a very nice guy to deal with. I would recommend him to everyone.

DJ Timeo really made my daughters birthday party so special! The kids had so much fun! DJ Timeo taught them dances and helped make their first dance such a hit! He entertained 80 thirteen year olds for 3 hours! No easy feat! After our great experience, he also did my cousins wedding. He was very professional and helped the reception flow nicely. Then when it was time, he had everyone out of their seats and having so much fun out on the dance floor! I would definitely recommend him and will also use him again!

Timo was the DJ at my cousin's wedding, where I was the maid of honor, and I have to say that he was beyond fabulous and will definitely be asked to DJ my wedding in the future. He really made the party what it was, which was PERFECT. His music choices, his energy, his extra lighting, his hula hoops for the kids, his dance moves and line dance teaching, his emcee skills, his EVERYTHING was the best I've ever seen. I'll be handing his number out to my all my friends. We LOVED Timo!

As the mother of the bride, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for making my daughter’s wedding reception so memorable . . . and so much fun!!! The thought and attention-to-detail that went into customizing every moment of the reception was incredible! Timo kept everything moving like a well-oiled machine. What a relief! From coordinating with the vendors to coaching the bridge and groom on how to create special photo opportunities, Timo far exceeded my expectations. I especially loved how he chose music clips to introduce each person giving a toast and I was so happy that he videoed all the special dances, freeing me up to fully enjoy those moments. He kept the dance floor full from beginning to end. Everyone was a sweaty, happy, mess! Uplighting was awesome, especially since we were so limited in how we could decorate the hall. Hands down Timo, you are the best! I can’t imagine anyone else DJing/Emceeing my special event and would recommend DJ.Timo without hesitation. Loved every minute of it. I’m still on Cloud 9!

Timo was awesome! He was always willing to give suggestions about other vendors and venues. Since this was our first major event, Timo's suggestions and guidance were always appreciated. He went beyond the responsibilities of a DJ both prior to the event and during the event.
Timo met in person and talked several times by phone and email to discuss our playlist.
Timo kept the kids engaged from the moment the event started, and when some kids began to wander off-site he brought them back to the party.
Timo played games and music and assisted with the candle lighting ceremony.
Even the adults had a great time.
The lighting Timo provided definitely helped set the atmosphere.
Timo is more than a DJ.

I've been to many weddings and witnessed typical DJ services... not bad, but mostly just an average type of service and what you would expect. Timo is NONE of these things. Texas Disk Jockeys went above and beyond the call of duty to help ensure complete smoothness on a very important day. Coordinating with my other vendors and getting things lined up so it was not something I had to worry about. One of my biggest worries was that the dance floor would be empty and no one would dance. The dance floor was packed and everyone had a great time. For weeks and even now guests at our wedding are still asking us who our DJ was.

Without being asked, Timo also took pictures and videos with his cell phone and delivered them to me the night of the wedding! What a special treat.... :) We now have our ceremony and a couple of fun videos to put in the memory books!

Thanks again for an amazing night! You exceeded my expectations by miles and miles.... I wanna do it all over again!

Timo is an OUTSTANDING DJ! He is so great at getting kids and adults engaged and participating in both dancing and the many fun party games he offers. He is a great listener and wants to make your party what you want and the best time for everyone. I got so many compliments about how much fun everyone had, and I assure you that Timo is the reason. He is highly professional and I would use him again in a heartbeat. I think he is the best DJ I've ever seen.

Hiring Texas Disc Jockey's was the best thing we dld for my daughters Birthday Party. We had a party for 4 girls who were turning 13. Timo was awesome! The kids had a blast with him. He totally had 75 7th graders dancing the night away. He made sure the entire group of kids stayed engaged. He also gave us a bunch of party advice in advance which was super helpful in pulling off a great party. I would recommend him to anyone having a kid/teen birthday party!

Timo went above and beyond what was expected. I booked him as soon as we had our date and before anything else. Not only did he do an amazing job at my daughters Bat Mitzvah keeping all my guests engaged and having fun, he worked with me months before with the planning. He gave suggestions of venues, photographers and fun ideas to make our event feel really special. The kids loved him and so did the adults!

DJ Timo was amazing! We couldn't have had a better experience. He took command of the party, kept 60 girls entertained for two hours, and most importantly- ensured everyone had a fabulous time. He was easy to reach, responsive to our requests, and provided everything he promised and then some.

DJ Simcha truly MADE our party. He set the mood with fabulous lighting, followed by an evening of great music and appropriate, fun banter. He really knows how to manage a crowd! He was extremely flexible as we interspersed performers between his sets which could have caused disruptions. Instead, he made sure that the evening flowed from beginning to end. He was extremely easy to work with, providing great ideas and connections with other terrific vendors.

Working with TIMO was an amazing experience. He not only helped plan our Temple Dedication weedend, he performed and brought our venue to life. He is an amazing person and an amazing entertainer! Timo IS THE BEST DJ OUT THERE!!! He went above and beyond and we couldn't of happier. He coordinated with everyone and made sure the whole day went smoothly and according to schedule. All night everyone compliment the music and loved the ambiance he created with the lighting. You can tell this is his passion and he loves what he does!! From the 1st time I met Timo, at my home, we connected...he understood my dream AND BROUGHT IT FORTH!! HE MADE MY GRANDDAUGHTER A HAPPY , as well as all of our guest and his light show was amazing.

I thought it was nice that he snapped some photos at the ceremony and reception and emailed them to us. You can never have too many photos just in case the photographer loses some.
When we met with him before the wedding he asked when our parents graduated high school as well as ourselves and said he knows what music to play that they will enjoy and he was right! He played some oldies but goodies during dinner and our parents were singing and laughing and having a good time. Timo knows how to read a crowd and play what they want.

Okay, the truth about Timo from my prospective; he makes the party and gives 110%. We had a party for my son with 230 people, from the get go, I didn't want the party and simply thought the money would be better spent saving for college. Meeting with Timo twice I was "difficult and aloof, " hoping the event would simply evaporate. Half of the things we talked about, my wife and I forgot to do the prep. Timo just rocks, he made EVERYTHING just work perfectly and my son had the best night of his life. Timo made sure my son, his friends and all the other guest stayed engaged. Timo paced the night perfectly, filling in every single hole my wife and I left. I had a hard time getting our slide show working, Timo offered his computer without hesitation and the night rolled on perfectly. Basically I can't say enough good things about this man. He is one of the few the gives 110% to your event and doesn't treat it like just another gig. You would be crazy not to use this guy, he is professional, kind, great at what he does and walks the line perfectly between cool and fun vs. overdone. Thanks for making our night shine Timo! First and foremost, my son, Michael, had a blast and felt very special! Everyone that I have spoken to told me they or their child had lots of fun. Timo is a very personable guy and he kept an eye on the dynamics of the participants. It was great that Timo came to our house and personally met with our family. He got a feel for what we wanted which made the party so much fun. Unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy all the great activities Timo has to choose from. Timo's energy and professionalism were fantastic! We would use him again absolutely. I would be happy to speak with anyone who might need a recommendation.

DJ Timo was BY FAR the best DJ we've ever witnessed. Every single guest at our party was on the dance floor having a fantastic time. The fun didn't stop until the last song ended. No need for dancers or any other entertainment - - Timo is a true one man show and the life of the party, complete with games, dances, special effects lighting, all included! I received calls all day the following day, commenting on how much fun he made the party. Definitely the best money we spent over the course of our 4 day Bat Mitzvah weekend!

I can honestly say that Timo was the key to the success of both of our daughters' bat mitzvah parties. Timo MAKES the party. He is extremely professional, well-organized, knowledgeable about many different kinds of music, and connects really well with both teens and adults. Timo knows how to keep a party going, when to take it down a notch, and how to engage shy/reluctant kids. He also listens beforehand to make sure that he is working with you to create the best possible event. I could go on and on about the high regard that I have for Timo and his work. Because of him, we all have amazing memories of those parties.

We held our annual elementary school Father/Daughter dance in late January and DJ Timo was truly the highlight of the night! Timo was amaaaaaazing! He was recommended to us by our similarly amazing wedding planner Amanda Ervin with 11:11 Events. Our guests were thrilled by Timo's energy--friends texted me and wrote on my Facebook wall the following day praising how great and entertaining Timo was. He also provided lighting for our event--up lighting really made the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs Mansion look spectacular. The planning process with Timo was also great. We discussed what we did and didn't want played at our wedding and he was really accommodating with the variety of music played. Once mt wedding was over, I was pleasantly surprised to see a text message from Timo. The contents? PICTURES of us having fun! I was able to uploading instantly and let everyone re-live those quirky shots we posed for. All in all, if you want to have a fun wedding, I highly recommend Timo!!

As we were new to the area, we had to rely on other's recommendations. Julie of Lakeway Resor and Spa provided this excellent recommendation. The entertainment can make or break an event. Timo was not overbearing in his approach. He was professional yet fun at the same time. Our goal was to have everyone dancing and having a good time. Well, the result was that. He appealed to all ages and flexible. You can't go wrong with him. I would definitely engage his services again.

Outstanding event!! DJ Simcha knew how to coordinate everything so everything went very smoothly. Everyone had a wonderful time!!

DJ Simcha also assisted us with the planning of the event. He pointed out during the planning stages that having at least 30 children at the party would help make this party a success. This advice and other advice Timo gave us during our event planning was incredibly helpful.

Our DJ was Timo of Texas Disc Jockeys, and for the last week, I've heard nothing from my guests besides how badass he was. He was so energetic, out dancing with us on the floor, taking some awesome pictures I wouldn't have otherwise. I can't imagine how anyone could want to hire any other dj in Austin. He was unbelievable!!! I can't even verbalize how great he was in words. We immediately got along, he was way into anything and everything, he was great about maintaining crowd hype, and the fact that he was dancing around with us was just great. Plus, he comes with his own lighting gear. Seriously, stop your search, you've found THE ONE.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Timo. He was, hands down, the best investment we made in our wedding. His professionalism and experience made us feel, not only happy to put ourselves in his hands, but fortunate that we were able to find someone with his expertise. He met with us several times before the event, exhaustively checking and rechecking details that, to be perfectly honest, my husband and I hadn't even considered. He not only handeled the music, but created an entire atmosphere. He worked with our other vendors to cooridinate, for example, a series of special moments; from my parents spontaneously (and unexpectedly!) hitting the dance floor, to the cutting of our very blue weding cake, to our send off. Timo really got to know us, and what we wanted, and even threw in some surprises that worked out beautifully. He really made the reception special. If you are lucky enough to get Timo as your DJ, you will be amazed as well!

I have been booking Timo for events for four years now. We book him twice a year for a Daddy Daughter Dance and a Mother Son Dance. If I could I would give him 7 out of 5 stars on value because he is worth every penny! He is the entire event in one person. His music is awesome, he brings some amazing party lights that really create the atmosphere, and he entertains THE ENTIRE NIGHT! He leads everything from games to teaching how to do some traditional party dances. There is never a dull moment with Timo and he entertains kids and adults alike. A MUST HAVE at your next event!

I love, love, love Timo. I have been thrilled and blessed to work with Timo for the last three years at our annual school gala. He has emceed the event all three years and it has been flawless. I wish everyone that I have to work with was as professional and as positive as Timo. I would recommend him for any event that needs a DJ or Emcee. He covers all of the bases ahead of time on what our needs are as well as offering suggestions on other needs we may have. Timo was an extraordinary DJ. The majority of our guests were out on the dance floor at some point during the evening. Timo was so wonder and amazing. He gave so much more than any DJ I have ever seen. Before the wedding day Timo met with us to iron out details and help give ideas. He was so helpful and friendly. I felt very at ease after our first meeting. The day of the wedding was spectacular. I knew Timo had arrived when I could here the Beatles from the balcony. It was the tiny details like Timo knowing my favorite band. He was very personal and professional. We had no wedding coordinator and Timo stepped up and kept the ceremony, flowing, the reception was perfect. Everyone knew what was going on and were they needed to be. I could go on for days about how awesome Timo was but I think all anyone needs to really hear is how much everyone from the wedding was talking about How great the DJ was. Although Timo is really busy, he always provided me with the time, insight, and helpfulness necessary to make this a great event. At the event itself, his lighting really made the room look like a party!!!! He has more energy than anyone I know. I was concerned that without dancers, or additional folks, it would be difficult to manage. Timo was absolutely EVERYWHERE! His energy and enthusiasm were contagious and attention to the kids, and the rest of the attendees was tremendous. Timo was the DJ at my daughter's bat Mitsva 4years ago and now at my son's bar Mitsva !!! He is very professional : his music is up to date and according to the customer's choices. DJ Simcha was a fantastic DJ. He got the kids engaged in the party games and had the energy to motivate the adults to get on the dance floor as well. What I most appreciated about him was his experience with Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and his ability to give great advice on the flow of the party. He not only played music and games but he made announcements at key points during the party to lead the guests outside for TopGolf or inside for photo montage for example. The lighting was fun and festive. He made good suggestions about party favors as well. I liked that he came to our house and met with all of us, including our son prior to the event. When we were planning our wedding, there were a couple of things that took absolute priority for us! We had to have my childhood rabbi marry us, an exquisitely talented photographer, and Timo as our DJ! Timo had been the DJ at my Bat Mitzvah reception, 16 years before, as well as, for my three sisters' Bat Mitzvahs. We got rave reviews on his ability to keep the party high energy and loads of fun, so we were sure to hire him for our wedding. DJs are easy to find, but GREAT DJs are nearly impossible to find. From start to finish, our wedding reception was more fun than most people had had in a very long time! My husband and I were able to plan all details ahead of time with Timo so that we didn't have to worry about a thing, from speeches to special dances, come our wedding day. He made us feel very special, made sure to get people of all ages and backgrounds onto the dance floor, and did a superb job of keeping the energy and fun up all night long. There was never a dull moment, and never a second when the dance floor wasn't completely crowded! By the time the reception end had come, we still had nearly 100 people (out of 320!) hanging out and having fun. We didn't want the evening to end! Since our wedding day, we constantly hear from family and friends about what an amazing day our wedding day was. They loved every detail that we had carefully planned, but Timo and our wedding reception is always at the top of the list when people mention how incredible our day was. It is fantastic to keep hearing about the wonderful time that was had by family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. We thank Timo for his all around experience, thoughtfulness, and genuine care for our family to make this a moment in our lives that we will never forget. The dance floor was packed. Our guests were delighted. The party energy matched the joy in our hearts, and the reception lasted all night long...well after dinner and dessert were over. We would recommend Timo heads above the rest for a wedding or event DJ.

DJ Timo was our DJ for the very first "mother-son" party at our school. In the past, we've had mid-afternoon sports related events while the girls at our school have an annual daughter dance night out. There was some skepticism about the boys enjoying a dance party but it was a HUGE hit - largely because DJ Timo did such a fabulous job.

From kindergardners to 5th graders, DJ Timo had the boys engaged, entertained and having a blast. The moms loved it too. I got tons of feedback from people saying it was the best mother/son event we've ever had! One boy told his mom that he isn't so worried about middle school dances now that he knows how fun it can be and another thanked his mom for their best night out ever!

DJ Simcha (Timo) was amazing! He made the party so much fun. Guests kept coming up to me saying how they loved the DJ and how he had so much energy!!! He was entertaining and always had the guests dancing or involved in a fun activity. He also helped with announcements and kept the party moving on time. We didn't have to worry about anything. He made the whole night very special.

Timo is the best DJ I've ever met. He keeps participants engaged during the entire event. He always has the latest music and the best games!

Timo and Ginny B (photographer) were a fantastic team.....the party was terrific because Timo had everyone dancing and having a fun time! My guests were really impressed with how Timo orchestrated the party.....thanks

Timo did an outstanding job for my nephew's wedding reception. He gives 100% energy and does an outstanding job of energizing the crowd. He also coordinated well with bride and groom, parents and wedding planner to communicate and plan in advance as much as possible. He was flexible in working in a large crowd with heat and lighting conditions that were a challenge. Even brought glow sticks to engage the young crowd.
