They captured the day beautifully and most of the time we didnt even realize they were there, they were definitely unobtrusive as promised. I would definitely recommend going with the Contemporary Movie, this is the reason we chose them as a vendor and are very happy with how it came out. -
User2007163 Sent on 01/12/2015Kevin was confrontational and unprofessional. He flat out refuses to provide a receipt. I have asked him 5 times. He overcharged us for HD. Kevin and all other videographers who offer Standard def should be ashamed. Stop overcharging for HD which is not exactly new technology anymore. It's been out for over 10 years. He also demanded payment in full months ahead of the wedding and said this was the industry standard. Well I called around and found out that this is simply not true. Video was average at best, nothing special. AVOID Kevin of Timeless Moments LLC north haven, CT.
I never received a receipt despite Kevin's comment that he is in possession of one. In fact I recall a telephone coversation where I was told that it was on his to do list but not a priority. Declaring that the cashed check is an inherent invoice is a lazy business practice.
I chose to make my review as anonymous as is my right according to this site. After all, I am not the one under review here. Kevin has gone out of his way to include my full name in his comment and attack me personally. He has also invited the public to his studio to view my video. This is against my wishes, despite what I may have signed off on in his contract. If he shares my video or any other information, I say again he does so against my wishes and would speak volumes to his character or lack thereof.Timeless Moments Video, Inc.'s reply:
The client initially desired the most economical video production, a 1-camera standard-def. production. The signed agreement clearly outlined the cost for HD upgrade & that final payment was due 30 days before the wedding. Final payment was finally made, after much complaining, on the day before the wedding. The wedding was shot, at no additional cost, with a 2nd camera. This extra service was provided because we try to exceed expectations. I arrived before the groomsmen & wedding party. Professional, attentive service was provided. The client was pleased with the opportunity we presented the couple to remark to each other through the camera before the ceremony. After wedding day, the client was confrontational. The client sought an upgrade to HD at a cost less than agreed to in the signed agreement. Even so, exemplary service was provided. The client also sought an MP4 encoding of his video. The HD video & MP4 file were completed & delivered by FEDEX ahead of schedule. All the client’s payments had been made by personal check. The cancelled checks constituted an inherent receipt. Even so, a paper receipt was provided documenting the check payments. All promised obligations were met or exceeded. Customer service was exemplary. I invite you to visit our studio to view the client signed agreement, the Blu-Ray disc of the clients’ wedding, and the receipt provided for payments made. UPDATE My desire is to defend our good reputation. My responses are an attempt to do so against factually inaccurate statements. I personally attack no-one. I never said anything was a low priority. The evidence supports the facts I have enumerated and needs to be associated with the case, hence identifying the wedding. Our good character and integrity are evidenced by numerous reviews on this site and others available for review in our studio. The documents and video will prove the facts of this matter and are evidence to prove our good character. We have nothing to hide. "The truth will set you free".
