Spectacular

The Time Pilots are amazing! We were incredibly pleased with their performance on our big day, but they were also fantastic to work with throughout the planning process. They learned multiple songs for us and truly accommodated every request we had. They are professional, reliable, and extremely talented musicians. AMAZING! 10000/10 Recommend!

Simply put: The Time Pilots are amazing! I could not recommend them more. They played at my sister's wedding a few years ago and everyone had so much fun that we knew we needed to have them at our wedding! From our initial planning through the day of the wedding, they provided top notch service. The dance floor was filled all night with guests of all ages. They made our wedding feel so special!!

A Night to Remember

We’re still riding the high from our wedding, and this band was a huge reason why. From the first song to the last dance, they had every guest on their feet — the energy was nonstop, and the talent was unreal.

We gave them a sense of the music we love, and without providing a single song, they absolutely nailed the vibe. They read the room perfectly and moved through our favorite styles with soul, style, and so much personality. It felt like they’d known us for years.

Since we didn’t have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, Jon stepped up in a big way to keep everything on track. He was calm, professional, and made sure the evening flowed effortlessly — we never once had to worry about what was happening next.

Multiple guests told us this was *the best wedding band they had ever seen*, and we couldn’t agree more.

Everything was tight, polished, and personal — the perfect balance of professionalism and spontaneity. If you’re looking for a band that brings heart, energy, and total command of the room — *and* keeps your event on track — this is the one.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience

The Time Pilots absolutely crushed our wedding! They were very easy to work with, flexible in all respects. Their guitar/saxophone was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and they had us on our feet dancing the whole night. The absolute LIFE of the party

The Time Pilots were totally and completely INCREDIBLE at our wedding in October! They brought such amazing music, sound, positivity, and joy to our wedding! They really MADE the wedding! We still cannot get over how exceptional they were! And we’re not the only ones, our families and guests keep telling us how insanely amazing the band was. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night, and that was thanks to the Time Pilots and their amazing talent.

Jon was such a pleasure to work with. We really cannot thank him enough or think of a better person help with our wedding. We had to make some last minute changes during the wedding due to rain, but Jon was so flexible and made it work seamlessly. He even took us out to dinner a few months before the wedding to go over all of the finer details. Any time we had a question, he answered it promptly.

The Time Pilots really read the crowd and played the perfect arrangement! Song after song was ideal and kept the party going! They really are the best wedding band EVER. We really cannot recommend them enough!!!

Hire Time Pilots! Best band ever!

Time Pilots is out of this world talented! We hired them for our wedding this past summer, and they made our wedding what it was; fun, lively, and rocking! Our family and friends all asked us for their set lists, and they were the talk of breakfast the next morning. We wanted a dancing wedding, where no one wanted to get off the dance floor, and Time Pilots delivered! They learned songs for us, got in the middle of the dance floor to get the crowd going, and they were incredibly kind and easy to work with throughout the whole process. I could write paragraphs on how thankful we are that we hired Time Pilots for our wedding, but instead I think I will just become a groupie! I can't wait to continue seeing Time Pilots play around Portland, and I couldn't recommend them enough for your wedding.

Don't hesitate - BOOK!

Wow - where to start?! From our first email exchange, I felt at ease with Jon and Time Pilots. The entire planning experience was A+, including getting together while we were in Maine month before the wedding, calls leading up to the big day, a choregraphed first dance, a grooms speech that led into a song, and a last minute need for mic and speakers! EVERYTHING with this group was easy and more importantly - FUN. The day-of was a dream. We had Time Pilots for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - they rocked each one. I'll never forget my sister in law rapping on stage or the opportunity to get up with one of my friends and sing Taylor Swift. All around, an incredible experience. If you're thinking of hiring Time Pilots for your wedding, stop hesitating and go for it!

Amazing band!!!

Time Pilots are the best! We hired them for our wedding after hearing them play at my brother's wedding almost 10 years ago! Jon was so flexible and easy to work with. He guided us through options for our intros and even played the songs for our special dances. They played jazz during dinner which was awesome, and then totally rocked the rest of the night!! Everyone was out on the dance floor at different points and we had so much fun! They even got multiple guests up to sing towards the end that turned into a truly epic finale to our wedding! We had SUCH a great time - highly recommend!

Stop looking around and book Time Pilots! Jon was a pleasure to work with throughout the process— always responsive and tremendously accommodating. The band loves what they do and their energy is infectious. We had what I would characterize as a reserved crowd for our wedding but Time Pilots had everyone on the dance floor all night! The Time Pilots Rocked Our Wedding!

The Time Pilots were amazing at our wedding this summer.

From the first interaction with The Time Pilots to meeting with Jon weeks before the wedding to go over details, we were at ease working with the Time Pilots. Tjeu gave great suggestions on how long first dances should be and what is well received among wedding guests.

The dance floor was packed and they listened to all of our likes/dislikes prior to the wedding day. Jon and The Time Pilots were very organized from the start of the process. They made it very easy for us from beginning to the end. They had great suggestions and knew what would keep our guests dancing the night away. There is nothing that compares to a live band! Darren absolutely captivated everyone with his saxophone skills. All of our guests were raving about the band days and weeks after the wedding.

The band was able to play an extra set because we were running ahead of schedule. They were flexible and ready to go when dinner had ended earlier than planned.

Having the Time Pilots at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. We paid for an additional hour for The Time Pilots to play. They are worth every penny.

WOW - what a band!!

Time Pilots made our wedding an unforgettable night! They played music during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Jon did a great job MCing and the band was super flexible (our dinner ran a bit long so once the band started, they played nonstop until the end of the night.) Made our wedding an absolute dream!

Where do I even begin? The Time Pilots are absolutely AMAZING!!! They made our wedding entertaining, special, and memorable. From the beginning, Jon and Chris were friendly, timely, and accommodating in their communication. My husband and I met with them a couple different times via phone call to discuss specific details of our wedding. In between, they were incredibly responsive via email when answering questions that came up along the way. Jon and Chris made my husband and I feel special throughout the planning/preparation process.

As for the wedding day, things could not have gone better! This is a group of very talented musicians. The Time Pilots played smooth, relaxing jazz during our cocktail hour and during dinner, which made the space feel elegant and peaceful. Throughout dinner, they checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were happy with the volume of the music and that we were happy with everything.

Once it was time for the dance portion, that’s when our wedding came to life!! The Time Pilots are talented when it comes to reading the room. Our guests STILL talk about how amazing the music was at our wedding! The Time Pilots included song recommendations and a wonderful mix of songs. The dance floor was never empty and the night was so lively!

We are very thankful to the Time Pilots for making our wedding an absolute dream! We highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a phenomenal wedding band!

Highlight of our wedding!

We had Time Pilots play at our wedding and could not be happier! Jon was amazing from the very beginning when we decided to book them. He regularly checked in with us and was willing/able to accommodate to our needs. They were able to play live music for our cocktail hour, dinner and reception which were all in different locations throughout the night. We didn't want/need live music for the ceremony, so Jon was able to set up a sound system and play pre-recorded music for that as well and had microphones for our officiant. Everything from the ceremony to the end of the night went smooth and they worked well with the other event staff/vendors/etc to keep things as easy as possible on our end. As for the live music itself, WOW! They were able to read the crowd and keep everyone entertained the entire night, nobody wanted to go home! Our guests are still talking about what an amazing job the band did and certainly was a highlight of our wedding. Absolutely will be recommending them to anyone that asks, if we could give more than 5 stars we would. Thank you Time Pilots for everything!

They kept the party going!

My wife and I had the Time Pilots play at our wedding; from the start they were great to work with: very communicative, answered our many questions, and were open to all of our ideas. They played music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. They did a wonderful job of reading the crowd and matching the feel the entire night. Hire these guys!! They're amazing!!

We hired the Time Pilots for our wedding and THEY ROCKED THE HOUSE! We had their guitarist do the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour and then the entire band played for the reception. They are incredibly talented. Jon was super easy to communicate with and catered their setlist to our musical tastes and performed quite a few of our requested songs. Additionally, they took so much care in preparing our first dance song. Can't recommend these guys enough!

Great Band!

We hired the Time Pilots to perform at our wedding reception, and they were excellent! Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule the reception, and they were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They were easy to work with around music selections, we chose a few songs but mostly left it up to them, and they played a great mix of songs that everyone knows and enjoys dancing to. They brought tremendous energy to the evening; I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to hire a band!

Fantastic from planning to Wedding Day!

TimePilots were absolutely fantastic! I am so happy we had them play at our wedding I cannot recommend them enough. We only decided in July 2020 to have our wedding in September 2020 and Jon was so helpful in planning during COVID and in such a short time frame. From the first contact through our wedding day in September Jon was so responsive and easy to communicate with. Planning was an extra challenge this year, Jon worked with us to make it just as special, and we had them handle ceremony music, they played live music at our cocktail hour, and ROCKED our reception! We and our guests had SO MUCH FUN! They sounded amazing knew exactly what songs to play to keep the energy up. Even the servers were dancing, it was awesome. Everything went smoothly and I was so confident in their expertise that I did not worry about it once on our wedding day. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Time Pilots will rock you!

Jon and the Time Pilots were communicative, flexible, and reassuring through the whole planning process, which was extra complicated due to the pandemic. Jon met with us a couple of times and invited us to their rehearsal. They helped with the organization of the evening, and they even learned a new song and rehearsed it to perform with the Maid of Honor. That made the event so special for us, of course.

The guests enjoyed a GREAT night of music and dancing, and it all appeared so seamless.

The Time Pilots were amazing. Months later we still have people telling us how much they loved the band at our wedding. Jon was responsive, reassuring, and extremely helpful. He worked with us beforehand to personalize the set list, and make sure everything went smoothly with the reception schedule. They even learned a song for us! Excellent experience!

The Time Pilots are a fun, professional wedding band. They went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I had the best day. Jon, who handles most of their bookings, is professional and very prompt with his responses. We met a few weeks prior to our wedding to develop a playlist and our first dance song (which they learned for our big day). Book this band.... now!

We are so happy to be writing this review for the Time Pilots who recently played at our September wedding in Sugarloaf! We recommend them, without hesitation, to anyone who wants their wedding to be a great time for everyone! The time pilots have excellent communication leading up to the big day, they have incredible knowledge to share about how to run the reception, they really take charge of the night so you can relax, and they rock the house!

We originally called them in 2017 and Jon was super comfortable to talk to from the start. He seemed like a really outgoing fun guy, and their reviews were amazing. They had the exact type of music we were looking for to really engage every type of person at our wedding. We excitedly booked them! In the Spring of 2018 we ended up postponing our wedding due to a job change for my now husband. I was pretty worried about how the process of postponing would go with some of our vendors since we already had a decent chunk of money down. Jon was by far the most kind and understanding, and he said he'd work hard to re-book our date so that we could use our deposit for another date the next year. Within a few months, Jon emailed that he booked our old date, and that they would play for us on our new wedding date whenever we choose that with no extra fee. He seriously could not have been better about the whole situation.

In the Winter of 2018 we decided on our new date, 9/7/19, and our new location of Sugarloaf (we were previously going to do it on Mount Desert Island where we used to live). Jon hopped right back to where we left off and we chatted every now and then to continue the planning process. Jon always knew exactly what questions to ask, and he even gave us great insight on the timing of our event since one of his many talents is running the reception schedule with ease! Although we had a day of wedding coordinator through Sugarloaf, once the reception started we didn't need one since the Time Pilots truly did run the night! The band was all set up and playing cocktail music before our guests arrived at the reception, and once the bridal party arrived, Jon met us outside to get us lined up for the entrance. It was so nice not to have to tell all our friends or family what to do or when to do it. Jon handled it all and we just got to enjoy the process of our night. The entrance was understated, which was just what we asked for. As the night went on, the Time Pilots facilitated many different transitions (first dance, moving everyone to the tent for dinner, having recorded music playing in a tent for dinner, announcing the toasts and handing the mic to the various people, inviting everyone back into the lodge for cake and music, gathering everyone for our cake cutting, announcing the parent dances, and more!). Even though we had agreed on a schedule of the night months before, Jon was very flexible when I on the spot decided to delay parent dances for an hour (we were a little tired of being the center of attention and just wanted a break to let loose!). He gladly started playing the fun music and everyone was dancing and having a great time!

Once all the formalities were over, the party really began. The Time Pilots played all the songs we loved from their song list! They even let my mom and brother karaoke for many songs which was hilarious! They were interactive, always smiling, and once they got the feel for the crowd - they knew exactly what to play to get everyone on their feet! I can honestly say that the main reason I didn't talk to people on the night of our wedding is because I was on the dance floor the entire night!

Time Pilots for the Win!

From reading these reviews only, I contacted Jon and booked our wedding day. The Time Pilots made our wedding day. From the moment I first reached out to Jon, he was very quick to respond via email. Up to and during the wedding Jon was organized, accommodating, and his attention to detail is on point. Our wedding ended up being held on the hottest day of the year.... As hot as it was in the barn, the Time Pilots never skipped a beat. Jon even went out of his way to work with a family member to practice with the band to perform not only the brides father daughter dance, but a surprised us all with more than just one song. I would not hesitate for any function I have in the future to give Jon a call and book him.

Take no "Time" to look any further for a band, choose the Time Pilots!

The Time Pilots had everything we were looking for in a band and they made our wedding day so memorable. Jon is fantastic to work with. He responded to our e-mails and phone calls almost immediately, was so flexible with our playlist (they can play just about any music you want), and was so professional. We forgot to let them know about a group dance we had planned and threw the idea out to them at the reception! Of course they were so flexible and accommodating and they made it work! Their sound is quality, fun, exciting and they got the crowd on the dance floor on the very first song! Jon also helped set up our timeline. His experience and collaboration with our other vendors made the night flow smoothly. We love the Time Pilots!

From the very first moment that we made our initial inquiry about using Time Pilots as our wedding band they were professional, on point, flexible, and just fun to deal with.

Our wedding was at the Bethel Inn this past weekend and the Time Pilots delivered a big time performance. (Our wedding coordinator was SO very impressed) They literally rocked the Inn and the dance floor was packed all night. Many of our guests had blistered feet from dancing and went our of their way to make comments about how great the band was and that they have not danced liked that in many years.

I had made a last minute request that Time Pilots secretly learn a very special song that my wife and I love. They pulled it out at just the right time and delivered a beautiful version of the song that made me look like a hero to my new wife. They even accommodated a Junior Bridesmaid's request to sing a cool rendition of ABBA's Dancing Queen as well as my nephew (pro Sax player) to sit for a couple of songs. It just made the party that much more fun.

We highly recommend the Time Pilots and would definitely use them again!! Time Pilots rock!

Definitely don't hesitate to book the Time Pilots. Jon was always incredibly responsive via email, kind, professional, and flexible. This the band you want at your party if you want excellent communication, smooth transitions during your event, and people up and dancing all night long!! Jon & his team were amazing to work with. True wedding professionals who love to have a good time. They are flexible, responsive, & ROCK! We had the best time at our recent wedding in a family owned barn property on Lookout Point in Harpswell, Maine. The Time Pilots learned a very difficult song for our first dance and knocked it out of the park. 10/10 performance from playing the cocktail hour to the dinner to the big throw down in the barn. Our wedding was 150-175 people and these guys couldn't have done a better job from all angles. They travel light, blast the volume (if you want it) and even let a few people jump on stage and perform with them. Too fun. Made our day extremely special.

The Time Pilots were amazing! Jon was great to work with leading up to and the day of our wedding. He was extremely responsive and really listened to our vision for music that evening. Give your spouse-to-be a high five if you have already booked this band, because you have just made the best vendor decision of your wedding! The Time Pilots were a BIG hit at our reception! Our guests are still raving about how much fun the Time Pilots were – many said specifically that it was the best band they had ever seen perform at a wedding. This group is talented, so you will be thrilled with the quality of their music. They have a broad repertoire and will work with you to find out what you like and what you don’t like. They also met our #1 criterion, which was to get the whole spectrum of guests – ages 8 to 60s – up and dancing, and the dance floor was packed all night. Jon - the band director - was a pleasure to work with and alleviated any stress we could have possibly felt from the minutiae of setting up sound equipment to the big task of bringing the party. We felt confident in him from day one – he kept us organized, and even emceed our entire ceremony, reception, and the rest of the party. Book them. Jon and the band are incredible. Not only are they talented, but they are professional, flexible and kind. Jon checked in with me and my husband throughout the night to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and wondering if there was anything more we wanted in their performance which was consistent with Jon's attentive e-mailing before the wedding. They allowed some of our more musical (and not so musical) guests to join them on stage which created some of the most memorable moments of the night. They learned some of our favorite songs and dazzled our guests with their talent. If you are at all thinking of a band for your wedding-- do it and get the Time Pilots. Aside from marrying the love of my life and being surrounded by all of my favorite people, they were the best part of the night. Our guests haven't stopped talking about them and after they stopped playing, the party continued on our shuttle ride back to the hotel. There were ~ 50 of us on a bus singing at the top of our lungs because we didn't want the party to end! Book them and it's one of the many decisions in planning a wedding that you will not need to question.

Where do we start!!! Time Pilots absolutely blew us away from day one all the way to the wedding. Jon from the first time we spoke immediately put us at ease and started providing us with suggestions, information and a million other things we never knew we would have to think about.
They provided us sound bites for practicing our first dance, they responded to phone calls and emails very timely, and overall customer service was beyond 5 star.
They brought so much energy and a great music selection to our wedding, our friends and families are still raving about the music and how much fun they had because of the band.

Where do I even begin on these guys? From the first time we saw them play, we KNEW this was the perfect band for our wedding. Selecting a band was important to us- my husband is a musician himself, and I'd always dreamed of a wedding where all the guests would be on their feet. Time Pilots MORE than satisfied both of us. The musicianship was excellent (the saxophone player stunned everyone in the room) and to say everyone was on their feet was an understatement. Their energy was electric, and even the most curmudgeonly guests couldn't resist busting a move. The band played songs across genres and decades, keeping everyone on the dance floor all day. Plus, they pulled my husband onstage with them to sing the last song, which ended the reception on the highest note!

I could write an entire book about working with Jon, but I suppose that would be a pretty long book. In short, I wish Jon could have planned my entire wedding. He was organized, kind, and lovely through each step of the process. The band has a lot of responsibility to keep the reception moving, and I trusted Jon fully to keep everything on track. I didn't even stress for a second during the day- I knew Jon had it under control.

I cannot say enough good things about the Time Pilots. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and the best party we'll ever have. A big part of this success was Jon and the whole band. You'll love their music, your guests will love their music, and most importantly, you'll love working with them. If I could give them six stars, I would in a heartbeat.

The Time Pilots played our wedding last weekend (Labor Day 2016) and were amazing! Jon is so easy to work with and answered all our emails promptly. Upon our first meeting with Jon, he helped us plan out a timeline for the reception which was very helpful. He made us feel very comfortable and even more excited for our wedding day. I was not the most organized bride, I even made some last minute changes the day of the wedding and Jon just rolled with it. The band was very gracious to allow my father to play a pre-recorded song he wrote specifically for our wedding. They even invited him up to sing a few songs. All our guests were dancing, young and old. They have such a good selection of music and learned our first dance song by Bruce Springsteen. We had so many compliments towards the band. There are many reasons why I want to relive my wedding day, and one of them is to hear the band play again :) I would recommend the Time Pilots for any event, they are outstanding!

The Time Pilots are fantastic! They played at our July 2016 wedding reception at Ocean Gateway in Portland, Maine. Three reasons why we loved them:

#1: So easy to work with –– Jon goes out of his way to make the planning process a snap. We felt immediately comfortable from the first time we met him. He is transparent. He keeps you up-to-date. He wants you to relax and enjoy your special day.

#2: They go above and beyond –– We loved that The Time Pilots have a sax, but unfortunately their lead saxophonist was unavailable during our date. Not a problem. Jon and his crew found a rockstar replacement and the horns sounded tremendous.

#3: They got people dancing, and I mean everyone –– In advance of our wedding, The Time Pilots asked us for a couple of songs we might want them to learn. We requested 'Born to Run' and 'You Can Call Me Al'. Needless to say these two songs were beautifully done. Friends and family flocked to the dance floor.

If you're considering booking the Time Pilots for your wedding, I would seriously stop everything and book them right now. Jon was so responsive, usually responding to emails or calls within a day. Their rates were competitive. They were accommodating to learning several new songs just for our big day (more than we even expected), and even changing some things on the fly on our wedding day without any hesitation or issue. But most of all, they absolutely rocked the entire night. We had friends and families of all ages out on the dance floor from start to finish, and our guests are still talking about how awesome the band was. Honestly, we knew from the day we got engaged that we wanted a live band, and these guys are the definition of what a wedding band should be. I would give my highest recommendation to the Time Pilots. Seriously, we couldn't be happier with our choice. Thanks again!

We absolutely loved the Time Pilots at our wedding in York, ME. They were so easy to work with - very responsive to emails leading up to the wedding. I procrastinated a bit on selecting our first dance, father-daughter and mother-son dance. John was able to accommodate under short notice. He was able to tailor our play list for specific songs we requested. He even came early to help set up and let our ceremony musicians use the Time Pilots amp, etc (we had a formal quartet for the ceremony).

Not only were the Time Pilots easy to work with, they were awesome at the wedding! The singers and instrumentalists all sounded amazing - all of our guests were dancing all night long! We couldn't have asked for a better band, especially at their price point. They are definitely worth every penny! I would highly recommend Time Pilots for any wedding!!

Time Pilots played at our wedding on October 17, 2015 up in Caratunk, ME and they did an amazing job!!! I would highly recommend them. All of our guests loved them and we keep getting compliments on how awesome they were. From the very beginning, we worked with Jon and he was so easy and nice to work with. Very easy to get a hold of, very responsive, and answered all of my questions. If I wanted something, I loved that he would offer his advice from his experience but would also do whatever I wanted. He really helped guide me on what has worked best through his experience and in the end it all worked out perfectly. They did a great job MC'ing the wedding and did well staying on time to keep things moving. I honestly don't even remember them taking breaks during the reception. I think they may have taken two all night and they were for maybe 10 minutes. None of our guests even noticed they went on a break because they were that good! The dance floor was packed all night long. They really are such an amazing band and really set the tone for our reception! It was amazing and I wouldn't have wanted any other band! GET TIME PILOTS AS YOUR BAND! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! THEY ROCK!

We are so lucky that we found the Time Pilots! Jon is absolutely fabulous to work with. He is so professional, but at the same time felt like a friend we had known for years. When we met before the wedding he was genuine and really wanted to know us as a couple. We didn't have a wedding planner and they helped us create a timeline to follow. Their customer service is unmatched. The Time Pilots let my uncle borrow a guitar to play at the ceremony for us. It doesn't stop there, Jon came early to set up the guitar and amp. The band learned 2 songs for us including our first dance and the father daughter dance, which they performed flawlessly. During the reception they read the crowd and didn't just simply play a set list, which really personalized the experience. Our wedding was outdoors under a tent and they did a fantastic job with the sound. Jon kept checking in with us to make sure we were having a good time and everything sounded just right. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night and they got EVERYONE up and partying. I mean even my family members that don't dance were out on the floor enjoying the night. From the moment we first contacted them, the Time Pilots were terrific. We had done a good deal of research into bands but knew we found the right one when communicating with Jon from the Time Pilots. His easygoing nature and genuine excitement to take part in our wedding made it an easy choice. He remained in close touch with us throughout the year leading up to our wedding and was always available to answer questions or take care of any needs we may have had. We met with him a few months before our wedding, and we could not have been nicer. He got to know us as a couple, asked questions about our preferences for the wedding, and described the wide variety of songs they are capable of performing. Jon and the Time Pilots even learned to play our first dance song, which was not previously in their repertoire. The Time Pilots are well-connected within the wedding circuit in southern Maine and had a preexisting relationship with our wedding coordinator, which made planning go all the more smoothly. On the big day, the Time Pilots did not disappoint. They handled everything perfectly and our guests raved about them all night (and afterwards!) We would HIGHLY recommend the Time Pilots to anyone looking for a great wedding band that is easy to work with and puts on a great performance that will keep guests on their feet all night long.

From the outset of our wedding planning, we knew that we didn’t want a “typical” wedding, so inevitably a band became a must have. We also didn’t want our wedding to be overly formal, but we wanted it to be classy, and we needed a band that could play a wide range of music AND sound great performing it all. We searched all over the New England area for options, and then we found The Time Pilots.

From the beginning, Jon was great to work with. We were hesitant to book a band having only read reviews and watched a few YouTube clips, so Jon made arrangements for us to stop in during one of their private engagements to have a listen and see for ourselves what the Time Pilots were all about.

The band was great when we first heard them – and they were even better on our wedding night with the addition of the two new female vocalists. The Time Pilots played a wide range of music and provided a great party atmosphere. They had our guests dancing all night, and the entire wedding party joined them in singing some Journey on stage late in the evening.

The Time Pilots did not disappoint, and I could not imagine working with a better group for our special day. Thank you Jon!

The Time Pilots were wonderful to work with. Very conscientious, organized and patient during the planning stages. And all out fun for the event. EVERYONE was up dancing—kids, grandmothers, and everyone else. We all had so much fun.
The singers are amazing, and the band has excellent energy. They know what to play to get the crowd going.

If there was the possibility to rate Time Pilots higher than five I would. From the first time meeting with them at the wedding expo, their professionalism and general attitudes with us were top notch. They answered every email or call within minutes of us sending it. The Time Pilots were awesome! We had so many of our guests tell us after the wedding that the band was amazing. They are VERY reliable, Jon often got back to me within 5 minutes of emailing him, they are very attentive to what YOU want your wedding to be like, they even learned 10 new songs for us! My husband and I are really into music, but also very particular about music so we basically made all the set lists as well as a CD to play during the cocktail hour and the breaks. You certainly don't need to do that, but the band was totally cool with us taking over in that respect.

As far as our crowd goes, it was a big dancing crowd! Everyone, old and young, was on the dance floor all night. They played the songs that everyone loves to sing and dance to. We danced the entire time! I even forgot to eat (I wouldn't recommend this, especially if there is a fair amount of drinking going on haha)

I was completely satisfied. They were perfect!

The highlight of the evening had to be when my dad joined the band for a couple of songs. It was a night I will cherish forever!!

I cannot say enough about the Time Pilots… they were absolutely AMAZING! When Nick and I first got engaged, we came up with a list of priorities for our wedding, and a live band was #1 on the list. We could not have dreamed of a better band! Working with them was a piece of cake; they are all the sweetest guys and amazingly talented to boot. Nick and I chose “Marry Me” as our first dance song since we had played it in our contest entry video and it was very special to us. Since the song was not part of their repertoire and we chose it just one week before the wedding, Nick and I were initially planning on just playing the Train CD; however, Jon said the band could learn the song and they did a PHENOMENAL job singing it for our first dance. They seriously sounded better than the original artist! Having a live song for the dance made it that much more special; Nick teared up when they first started singing.

The Time Pilots played a variety of music which catered to our guests of every age. Our family and friends, both younger and older, were out on the dance floor all night long! In fact, when Nick and I were trying to go around greeting people at each table after dinner, there were hardly any people sitting! The Time Pilots were the MOST loved aspect of our wedding reception by far; our family and friends were raving about them all night and we are still hearing tons of compliments!

The Time Pilots were awesome! They kept people dancing all night and really kept our guests entertained. They were really easy to work with. They play a really good mix of music that kept everyone on their feet and singing along, I really like the variety because it kept all of the age groups dancing. We have been to one of their shows since and also had a great time at that! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a really versatile band that will definitely keep your guest entertained!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Jon and his group! They made our wedding SO much and the dance floor stayed packed the whole night. We chose primarily 80s songs and they were extremely cooperative and willing to work with us on the playlist. Jon also announced our wedding party and did an AMAZING job! We highly recommend The Time Pilots. If we could go back and do it again, we wouldn't have changed a thing!!

from the 1st note these guys played, they had everyone (i mean even our grannies the babies!) up and dancing like wild things. i even had to change into my reception dress early because i couldnt help myself from dancing, singing, & even getting on stage with this awesome band! they even sang with my friends & played extra sets for late night! they were not only an awesome band with great energy, but they were a lot of fun & just so kind & professional. so many of the guests complimented me on the "best wedding band EVER" :) we cant wait to find a time to see them play again & dance & sing the night away!! thank you for everything!! cheers!

I love the 80s and the only thing I love more than the 80s is the band The Time Pilots! They rocked it out and there wasn't a sole NOT dancing...even the 80 year olds were out there.

Nicest group of guys you'll ever meet. Too bad they were working, cuz I woulda loved them at my wedding as guests!

This review can’t even start to give justice to how good the Time Pilots were for us. To start, Jon was incredibly timely, organized, and professional. He actually may have unknowingly been our wedding planner, as he created a detailed timeline of events for our wedding early in the planning process which we carried through until the event. There were a few changes in the band after we signed them on, but The Time Pilots quickly notified us and were honest about it, which we appreciated. Not only that, the changes in the band clearly escalated them to an even higher level. On our wedding day the band arrived early and set up music for our cocktail hour, as well as organized and announced our wedding party, which was not an additional charge. When it came time to dancing, they absolutely knew how to get the crowd into it. There are actually a few musicians in our family, and The Time Pilots allowed a few of them to play and sing! The Time Pilots now have several talented singers, as well as a deep sound with keyboard, drums, saxophone, and several guitarists. We were literally dancing, fist pumping, shouting, etc. through the entire night. I highly recommend Time Pilots, especially to anyone who wants to dance their pants off on their wedding night! Just one recommendation: It’s ok to request a few songs, but let band do their thing and you will not be disappointed!

The Time Pilots were awesome! We had such a great time dancing at our wedding thanks to their energy and amazing music. Jon was incredibly responsive to all of our emails and our special requests for classic rock music. They also mixed in some 80s and wedding classics that kept our dance floor rocking. Jon (and the rest of the band) were easy to work with, helpful, and provided a great set list that got all generations on the dance floor. Everyone from my parents friends to my friends were complimenting us on the, "great band." I would highly reccomend this vendor to anyone looking for a wedding band.

The Time Pilots were such a huge part of what made our wedding day perfect! During the planning process they were such a big help--never kept me waiting and were there to guide us through all the things we needed and wanted. At the wedding, all of the guests were raving about how good the band was! If you are looking for a band, I suggest you hire the Time Pilots, you definitely won't be disappointed!

The Time Pilots played a fantastic set during our June 21, 2014 wedding. From the very beginning they were flexible, positive, and fun to work with. They learned 2 new songs that were "must haves" for our wedding dances and performed them flawlessly. They do a great job reading the crowd and play songs that everyone knows and loves. I highly recommend the Time Pilots for their professionalism but also easy going, accommodating style.

We highly recommend the Time Pilots if you are looking for a band who will have ALL your guests out on the dance floor. We selected a mostly 80's set and the crowd loved it. Jon and the rest of the band were easy to work with and very professional. They even learned a new song for us. Don't hesitate - book them!

We just loved these guys! They are so much fun and really get people onto the dance floor. Super professional and responsive too. They will make sure guests have a blast for sure.
