Thank you Homayra!
Homayra is an incredible artist and I am so happy that I found her. I was immediately blown away by photos of her beautiful work when I was looking for a floral designer for my wedding in DC. I wanted to incorporate spring/summer colors into my wedding but I am not creative at all, so I was relying on Homayra to tie things together, and she absolutely nailed it! She created a vision board after we talked about what I was looking for, and I was amazed to see what she produced. She was flexible, very responsive, and accommodating when we made a few adjustments to the arrangements as the wedding day drew closer. Cut to the day of the wedding - my bridesmaids’ bouquets were set up in the bridal suite and they were stunning! The way that Homayra was able to incorporate the different colors and floral textures so seamlessly far surpassed what I could have ever imagined. The drapery and flowers on the ceremony and the reception centerpieces were exquisite. Everything came together so amazingly - our guests were raving about the gorgeous arrangements and decor. Thank you so much for making our day so beautiful, Homayra. You are truly talented, knowledgeable, and creative! -

Tilbury Floral is the BEST!
We cannot say enough good things about Homayra and Tilbury Floral! Homayra was hands on throughout the process, making the planning and floral design so easy and seamless. We worked with her to switch up our design of a couple items throughout the process and she was incredibly accommodating and made it so comfortable and made us feel no shame in wanting to tweak to get exactly our design vision. Aside from the incredibly wonderful time we had planning and working with her, the floral arrangements turned out STUNNING! They were exactly what we imagined and more, everything was so beautiful and exactly the style we wanted. It’s truly amazing how many different floral design styles Homayra can do, it seems like there is literally nothing she can’t do! She was so fast in set up and with repurposing florals (ceremony to reception arrangements) and was so incredibly sweet. Truly a lovely person with an incredible eye for design, immense talent to create beautiful, stunning arrangements, with a professional and efficient attitude. We can’t stress enough to anyone how much we recommend Homayra. AMAZING value for the prices they charge as well. She made the process wonderful and made our wedding beautiful. We love you Homayra!! -

Dream come true florals and a designer with vision!
Tilbury Floral was one of my favorite vendors to work with on my wedding day! Homayra's creativity, leadership, communication, and detail oriented focus marked every interaction with so much calm, positive, enthusiasm. She not only brought my vision to life, but did it in a way I never dreamt possible by elevating every detail and adding special design elements. Her artistry captured the elegance and beauty I hoped to exude and feel on our special day. She did everything with excellence every step of the way.
It was extra special the morning of the wedding when she hand delivered my bouquet to the bridal suite. I was just in awe! She took the time to really check in with me and make sure everything was perfect. She stayed a little while to help style my bridesmaids. It meant so much to have her presence there.

Homayra and her team executed our daughter's floral and candle vision perfectly. Melissa wanted simple but elegant. She wanted the ballroom to feel cozy and warm since the wedding was in February. All of those wishes were felt and seen by our guests. Melissa's bridal bouquet was gorgeous as well as the bridesmaids' bouquets. My husband and I are still on cloud 9 from our March 2024 wedding and that is in big part because of Homayra and her team at Tilbury Floral Design. From the beginning, we just clicked with Homayra because of her down-to-earth, caring, enthusiastic, and passionate spirit. Our virtual meetings with her prior to our wedding along with her quick communication and her proposals that included rich visuals, descriptions of each arrangement, pricing options, etc. helped us feel comfortable and confident in her hands.
Our vision for our wedding was an all-white Cinderella fairytale and she delivered BEYOND what we envisioned! When we walked into our venues, from the church to the cocktail hour to the reception, with all the floral and candle details and decor, the ambience felt dreamy, romantic, elegant, and magical; it took our breath and - that of our guests - completely away, in the best way possible!

Absolutely PERFECT!!
Tilbury was easily one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. Homayra worked with us directly to achieve our vision and her suggestions not only improved our initial ideas, but also helped us create as much value as possible while staying within budget. Everything looked absolutely PERFECT!!! It was more beautiful than I ever could have dreamed up!
Additionally, Homayra went out of her way to deliver me a Lily of the Valley bouquet (which was my first choice but we had moved on for budget reasons). It was absolutely beautiful and worked so well in all of the pictures too.
I highly recommend Tilbury Floral. They were a pleasure to work with and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. -

Honest, kind, responsive, and the BEST wedding vendor!
Booking Homayra and her team for our wedding this past April was one of the best decisions we could have made! We found Tilbury Floral Design from tagged photos on Instagram from our venue and right away I knew she was talented and could bring our vision to life. She was a joy to work with and from start to finish she took the time to make sure we felt special and taken care of and was flexible when creating our various floral designs while also offering expertise we leaned on. All of our floral arrangements were SHOW STOPPERS! Our guests continue to talk about how beautiful the flowers were - especially the seating chart and the centerpieces she created for us. We are so lucky to have worked with Homayra and her team! I wish we could get married a million times over so we could do it all over again! 100% would recommend to any and all brides! -

The BEST Wedding Vendor We Hired!
You will not regret hiring Tilbury Floral Design for your wedding! Homayra and her team are absolutely amazing! From the start Homayra was very prompt at returning emails and answering a ton of questions considering we knew nothing about wedding flowers. She worked closely with our wedding venue and she also had a lot of photos of past wedding and events there which also really helped us pick what we wanted for our big day. When I showed up to the venue the morning of the wedding her team were setting up and I nearly cried looking at how amazing the reception decor was already looking and it wasn’t even done yet! The final product of the ceremony and reception exceeded all of my expectations! It was also so nice not having to worry about a thing on my wedding day when it came to the decor and flowers. I hope to have another event where I get the pleasure work with Homayra and her team; they made the process such a breeze! Thank you to the Tilbury Floral Design family for all that you did for our big day. Those memories will live on in our wedding pictures for the rest of our lives! -

We held an intimate micro-wedding with an outdoor ceremony in the small brick courtyard of a historic Old Town Alexandria, VA rowhome. We also needed a chuppah to fit into this small space. Further, it simply wasn't in our budget or interest to spend upward of $10,000 on our florals—we wanted a simple and clean aesthetic of greenery and white florals. We spoke with other vendors and felt either dismissed by our budget or taste of not wanting "more." Needing a chuppah was also a challenge that surprised us (we expected more vendors to be equipped to handle this, even when they claimed they offered this service on their website). So, when our reception vendor gave us Tilbury Floral's contact information, we weren't hopeful. However, that changed from the moment we got to the website and filled out the intake form. We truly got a sense that they were interested in our needs from the questions alone, and our initial intake call with Homayra was honestly delightful. We felt she "got" us, and she was sincerely enthusiastic about our vision.
We opted to spend our funds on the ceremony as our reception space was already decorated in our aesthetic. When we were working with Homayra prior to the wedding, she told us they used to rent chuppahs but were going to invest in one to better serve their clients. So, Tilbury built a custom chuppah and floral design. The wooden chuppah itself was absolutely beautiful, and the florals were so beautiful that we were truly saddened to see them start to come down after the ceremony. I mention this because this is a vendor team that will do whatever it takes to meet your needs—not a take-it-or-leave-it approach. We truly couldn't be happier with what we purchased, and we know others will benefit from this beautiful chuppah for their outdoor Jewish (and even non-Jewish) ceremonies.

Wedding of Our Dreams!
Our wedding day flowers, decor and vibe exceeded our wildest expectations and dreams! The Tilbury Floral team was such a big reason for this-- they brought our vision to life, made it all possible, and executed it all without a hitch. I cannot begin to explain how happy and thankful to have worked with Homayra!
Leading up to the wedding, planning with Homayra was seamless. She was always 2 steps ahead, had excellent attention to detail, and went above and beyond to understand our vision. She pointed us in the right direction and suggested flowers I hadn't thought of. I don't know how to describe it other than to say it was a thought she was reading my mind.
That's how on point she was when every aspect of our wedding. Homayra is the type of person you simply want to work with on your wedding day. She is calm, talented, lovely, and just "gets it".... and if you get the chance to work with her, consider yourself in great hands! The venue both indoors and outside just came to life on our wedding day in a way that words cannot do justice. It was magical! The overall vibe of the entire place was incredible and everything just came together so beautifully. This place transformed into a custom garden-like space with all the little touches coming together to make it "so us". The candlelights were twinkling, the floral arrangements were beautiful in each of the spaces, it was charming and elegant and cozy and intimate all at the same time.
Everything we ever wanted! Homayra, you absolutely nailed it! So happy we worked with you. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts! -

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!!!! Best Vendor Ever!!!
I don't know if there are enough words to describe just how fantastic the work of Homayra and the entire Tilbury Floral team is. After my very first phone call with Homayra, I knew she 100% understood my vision and would create the perfect florals for our day. I was disappointed and feeling burnt out on all-things wedding planning and I admittedly gave her very little new direction, only giving her a general idea of what I thought I wanted and giving her the creative liberty to do whatever she felt would look best. When I saw the flowers she created for our wedding, I was so blown away. It was literally like she had tapped into my head and executed exactly what I had been envisioning, but better. So, so much better!!!! Her talents as a florist, her genuine kindness, and her flexibility all come together to make Homayra the most wonderful pro you could hire for your big day. I am so glad I trusted her and let her be as creative as possible because her work is perfection.
Also, as an extra perk, she and Denise pay so much attention to every detail that my friends were telling me when my wedding planner couldn't be found during the reception set-up, she and Denise stepped in to make sure everything was set up correctly, they answered questions from our other vendors, and they helped guide the caterers to make sure the set up was exactly how we wanted it to be! I mean talk about going above and beyond! WOW!!! And on top of that, the flowers were more beautiful than I could ever hope for.

Homayra created the most beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces for my wedding this fall. From our first communication she was always quick to get back to me and excited with me about my ideas and wedding theme. Her method of having a collaborative Pinterest board for the types of florals I love really helped me feel confident that she understood what I was looking for – and her designs exceeded what I could have imagined! The floral design proposal she created was the most elegant and comprehensive proposal I have ever seen! It was beautifully designed and easy to follow and she was really receptive when we did a walkthrough of the venue. She was super prompt and professional in everything she did and she was super organized. On my wedding day she delivered everything perfectly and exactly as scheduled. When saw my bouquet was even more beautiful than what I could have imagined, I nearly ruined my makeup because I was tearing up. I highly recommend Tilbury Floral Design! -

Excellent flowers
The flowers we got for our wedding were way better than we ever could have anticipated. Flowers were not super high on my budget/needs for wedding planning and somehow Tilbury stole the show. The team was professional, all the flowers were full and beautiful, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them. They worked with our design and my bouquet was everything I ever dreamed of! They made our wedding so special!! -

I had an incredible experience with Tilbury Floral who did all of the florals for my May 2, 2021 wedding. Homayra and Denise are attentive, creative, kind and smart. They made me feel like a VIP and really guided me throughout this wedding process. I always felt like they were working with me whether it was about design, budget or planning. I have Zero complaints and I'm so happy I don't even know where to begin! The flowers were GORGEOUS, LUSH, LUX, FRESH and COMPLETELY PERFECT.
When I first started researching Tilbury Floral I went to wedding wire and only say a few reviews, but had really liked their products so I decided to reach out and I'm so glad I did! They have been, by far, our favorite wedding vendor. I have a lot to say so I've broken it down in categories. :)
Product: We ordered all of our personals (bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages for moms and special guests), full decor for the church (pew marker flowers, candles, HUGE arrangements for the altar, and wooden arch decorated with flower arrangements), full decor for our hotel reception- beautiful tall centerpieces and candles for the guest tables; a beautiful centerpiece for the escort table; garland, flowers and candles for the head tables; and gorgeous swag arrangements and candles for the sweetheart table. Also, fresh flowers for the cake and petals for the flower girl. (Reception was at the Westin Old Town btw- ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Ask for Laure Politzer).
Planning- We starting planning sometime in October for our May wedding. From the beginning the Tilbury floral ladies were extremely attentive and responsive. Due to Covid we actually had to change our venues twice and reimagine the decor plan but with each change Homayra and Denise were able to pivot and come up with a great style plan. They were always ontime for zoom calls and in person walkthroughs.
Budget- Look. My budget was not unlimited by any stretch and the ladies worked with me to get the best bang for the budget and my wedding looked like a million dollars! They made wonderful recommendations so that I had a clear idea of where to save and where it made sense to splurge. They also offered to reuse some florals from the church ceremony for the reception which was a HUGH money saver. When youre working with vendors a lot of people out there will try to get you to add on services or products that you don't necessarily need because they want to make money. Tilbury Floral is not one of them. They were extremely considerate and only recommended adding items when it was completely necessary- and even then would remind me that the changes were optional.
Other wonderful things: This was by far my favorite wedding vendor and I sincerely believe that I can call Homayra and Denise friends. If I needed advice about something wedding related (but unrelated to flowers) they were always happy to give their opinion. They're so cool, so kind and so GOOD at their business. Did I mention they've been friends since primary school?
Brides- if you're in the DMV and need flowers, these are your people!! -

Would give 10 stars if possible. Tilbury Floral was fantastic all around! Our wedding was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, and it would not have been possible without Denise and Homayra and the beautiful flowers and attention to detail that they provided. Throughout the process they were responsive, kind, accommodating, giving of their time, had great ideas and were just a sincere pleasure to work with -- really great people. We had an intimate outdoor micro wedding with the goal of creating a romantic and twinkling ambiance, and we did just that with Denise and Homayra's awesome help!
The entire day was stunning, the flowers were abundant and perfectly detailed, the centerpieces were incredible with the candles twinkling. Really, everything was just as we had envisioned, and it was incredible to see it all come to life. We had to shift our entire wedding plans to instead have a micro wedding, which is why the details mattered even more... not to mention that we are pretty meticulous people with extremely high expectations. Our floral decor consisted of so many small but important special touches that Homayra herself personally accomplished. We cannot recommend or thank Tilbury Floral enough! -

Loved working with Homayra and Denise!
We are so happy we found Homayra and Denise. From the very beginning, they were so friendly, helpful, quick to respond, and not pushy. They captured exactly what I wanted for my flowers, and especially my bridal bouquet PERFECTLY! All of the centerpieces, bouquets, arch decor, etc were incredibly full and lush with so many different textures and pops of color. They delivered everything, set it all up, and came back after the reception to pick everything up themselves. The venue made it very clear that they wanted everything gone that same night or else we would be charged. Thankfully, Homayra and Denise didn't even flinch at the request. We had so many compliments on the florals and I kept getting asked, "who did your flowers?!!"

I didn't have a wedding planner so I had to find my own vendors. I contacted a few different florists and decided on Homayra because she was really responsive, didn't try to upsell anything, wasn't pushy, and had great ideas to help me stay within my budget. She even helped me save money by letting me know of a big issue that came up at my venue when she did her walk through. This would have cost me a lot of extra money and she was nice enough to let me know. When it rained on my wedding day, she even worked with the day-of coordinator to come up with a different set up for the altar flowers.
She was great and I couldn't have asked for more beautiful flowers for my wedding. They were gorgeous and we were able to use the arrangements the next day for brunch, which made everything look extra nice. -

Homayra and Denise arranged the flowers for my wedding and from the moment we inquired till the actual wedding they had been nothing but great! I can't emphasize how great it was that these two were as responsive as they were. Planning a wedding was stressful enough, but they made working with them so easy. Pricing was reasonable and for something as important as a wedding, you definitely DONT want to pass on quality. Working with them was such a breeze and they did not disappoint! During the planning process, Homayra and Denise were always available to speak with us and were receptive to whatever we needed. We really appreciated how thorough they were in working with us. I sent them my pinterest board and they worked off of it perfectly! Our entire guest list quarentined in order to attend the wedding and they loved the flower arrangements so much, as a gift to them, we sent them home with the centerpieces! You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend you pick Homayra and Denise! -

You will NOT find a better deal with amazing value than HD Planners! I was so bummed that I wasn't going to be able to find flowers that weren't going to kill my budget.. until I found Homayra and team. They completely listened to my vision and brought unbelievable flowers, centerpieces, and even a piece to use as our 'altar.' The team is also amazing to work with - so responsive and nice. HIRE HD PLANNERS!!! -
