As Catherine’s review states also not sure what these reviews are about. We met Jaclyn and her assistant about 6 months prior to our wedding and they were a pleasure to meet with. We were stressing out because we waited so long to book a photographer and thank goodness we fell in love with jaclyn and her assistant. We signed a contract and paid a deposit right there on the spot. The pictures were absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. We even did an additional post wedding session a few days after the wedding because on the wedding day we didn’t have enough time to take our couple pictures, which was discussed way ahead of time because our timeline for the wedding day was limited. You guys won’t go wrong booking Jaclyn and her team. I’m soo bummed that she moved because I would love to recommend her to friends and family members. I’m sorry the other people on here had a bad experience because we had a great one.

Seriously what are all these reviews about? It’s definitely not the same team that I had at my wedding. Jaclyn and her assistant were fantastic. They did photo for 6 hours and video for an hour. We just got both our photos and video back and they are great. Myself and my husband couldn’t be happier. This was the best decision we’ve made when it came to our wedding. They were great with our guests as well.

Hey I’m writing this review because I really don’t understand these other reviews! Jaclyn and team were great. I paid $2300 for my photography collection. Received a ton of photos about 500 or so to be exact. My collection also came with an album. The album was beautiful and so were the pictures. These other reviews are unreal because Tijoux Amor Photography was great and I will recommend to everyone.

Jaclyn and team were absolutely fantastic they did both photography and videography for my wedding and they were fabulous!! I don't know what the other reviews on here are talking about because they were great from beginning to end. My contract says I would receive my pictures in 2 months which is exactly what happened. We are currently in the process of working on my album but I keep changing my mind so I'm delaying that process not Jaclyn. Seriously everyone should use them! Jaclyn didn't attend my wedding-we hired one of her associates on her associate pricing list for both services and it was great. Well worth the money!! Great investment I will recommend to everyone. Thank You So Much!!

We had the pleasure to meet Ms. Guy during our son and daughter in law's wedding. She was very professional and matter of fact, you really didn't know she was there!!! Glad we had a chance to meet you and we look forward to seeing our video of the entire wedding and reception!! Thanks again for your great service!! She was prompt, sweet, and we hope she captured our forever heartbeats!!! ;)

Although less experienced than some others in the Wilmington area, Jaclyn was as great of a photographer as we could have asked for. I saw her advertising for discounted engagement photos the day before and booked last minute. My fiance and I had to take time off from work for this since it was a once-only deal at a specific time, but all my expectations were exceeded. The pictures looked great, were sent promptly, and was at an incredible value. I would recommend to anyone, regardless of where Jaclyn is working.

They lost it all. No refund

I used these people before they were located in NY. They lost my video. I was told I would get a video and all of the clips. I did see the video once before the link was taken down. It was not very well done. The sound was off and the angles were amateur. They did not refund and did not apologize.

Took my deposit and never contacted me again

I was excited to book a photographer for my wedding! I put $250 down 16 months in ADVANCE.
I contacted her a few times in the year and she reassured me that all would be well...
Well 3 months before my wedding all traces of her are GONE
Her FB pages are gone and i've gotten no responses.
She stole my money.
Any advice on a legal stand?

Horrible person

DO NOT TRUST HER! The 5 star reviews are a fake from herself. She cancelled on the day of my wedding! How you could keep doing this to brides is unreal. Still no refund....

DO NOT give this woman any business. She is a lying scam artist. I am waiting in my refund after finding out she stood up multiple brides. A disgusting individual. DO NOT give Jaclyn Guy your business. She told me she emailed me my contract and stated she would mail it and never recieved it. I am absolutely disgusted by this lack of business ethic. She is a pathological liar and I have not one nice thing to say about her. Wish I saw these reviews before I paid in May. She also deleted her fb page...shadyyyyy. She stated to another vendor she was closing her business yet posted an add on a local page. You should be ashamed and I wish you the worse for what you've done to these brides. You are garbage. I will make sure you never get a client again.

Jaclyn Guy is a horrible Human being. I signed the contract and made my scheduled payments. I was concerned about paying in full 6 months before the wedding but Jaclyn FaceTimed Us to reassure us and I paid my balance In Full. Two weeks before the wedding I still haven’t heard from her. We set up three different times that was good for Her schedule (two weeks before my wedding when Im crazy but I give up 3 nights to talk to her) to which all three times she has these crazy excuses to why she can’t even answer her phone for 2 seconds when she picked the date and time to talk. First her mother’s house was in the hurricane, two days later she had emergency dental surgery and needed teeth out. Then she was on pain meds and too swollen to answer her phone. One time she was at work and her replacement didn’t show up... at 9pm at night so she could call. Excuse after excuse. Finally she admits to us she has no intention of going to our wedding... which is 4 days away. She claims she can’t give a refund because she already spent it and literally has $100 to her name from her “dental surgery” and there’s no way she can refund but she also isn’t planning to show up to do the work. She then says she had a replacement in mind... but can’t pay him. Now she is giving us the run around saying she will pay us but not but saying she tried and to keep waiting for it. Yet she just admitted she doesn’t have money. It’s literally one lie after the next. She will text two different stories/lies back to back within minutes of herself, contradicting herself. I swear she is on drugs! She ONlY ever texts between 2:30am-4:30am and during the day her phone always goes straight to voicemail. This girl has got some Serious issues. I’m grateful I was informed she is ditching us...4 days before me wedding, so I can find someone else... more then I can say for these other couples. Pissed about the $1200 I am out and will never get.

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS WHAT SHE IS PUTTING ME THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETS START OFF WITH... THE DAYS LEADING UP TO MY WEDDING IT WAS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HOLD OF JACLYN TO GO OVER THE DETAILS, BUT FINALLY ABOUT A WEEK OUT WE FACETIMED AND SHE PUT MY MIND AT EASE. THE DAY OF MY WEDDING SHE NEVER SHOWED, CLAIMED HER DAD HAD A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK AND PASSED AWAY (WHICH I HAVE SINCE CONFIRMED A LIE!!! WHAT KIND OF PERSON LIES ABOUT HER FATHER PASSING!?!?!?!?!?!?). SHE DID HOWEVER SEND A BACKUP. HE WAS A VERY PROFESSIONAL FREE LANCE VIDEOGRAPHER. HE MISSED OUR CEREMONY (WHICH I PAID FOR) BECAUSE JACLYN DIDN'T CALL HIM UNTIL AN HOUR BEFORE MY WEDDING AND HE WAS OVER AN HOUR AWAY FROM THE VENUE! OK, SO I MOVED ON FROM THAT STRESS AND DIDN'T LET IT RUIN MY DAY. FAST FORWARD 3 MONTHS LATER.......SHE WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS, HAS NOT PAID SERGIO (THE BACK UP), AND I HAVE NO FOOTAGE. THE BACK UP VIDEOGRAPHER REFUSES TO RELEASE MY FOOTAGE TO ME UNTIL HE GETS PAID BY JACLYN. WELL GUESS WHAT? NO PAYMENT BY JACLYN, NO WORD FROM HER TO EITHER OF US IN OVER A MONTH, AND I AM IN THE WORKS OF HIRING AN ATTORNEY!!!!!! DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS SLIMEY CON ARTIST OF A HUMAN BEING (WHICH SHE IS FAR FROM CONSIDERING SHE CAN COMPOSE SUCH AWFUL LIES)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SCAM SCAM SCAM! Please do not use this lady! She contacted me after I put out a notice looking for photographer for Ocean Isle Beach, NC and said she was in Sunset Beach. I paid upfront because she was running a special and things I found on her seemed 50/50 which I though was normal. Well I rarely heard from her and it was like pulling teeth her get her to respond and to set up a time to talk. FINALLY like a week before my wedding she called and said she would show up at 330 the day of my wedding which started at 4, which is fine, but come say of the wedding 3:30 comes and goes and she's not there. 3:45 comes and she's still not there, my sister is furious and calling her every 5 seconds and it goes straight to voicemail. Finally I get a text back saying she was in a car accident on the way to the wedding and trying to find someone to come photograph our wedding... well by this time we just went on without her because what else was I suppose to do? Thankfully family had cameras and stepped in for us! She tried to send a videographer as an apology at like 6:30...ummm sorry no you e already missed the important part that I wanted captured! So I told her I wanted a full refund and she said no problem but she was being sent to the hospital and would look the next day. Okay I'm a resonable person I'll message her tomorrow and went on with my night. The next day I get a message from her mom saying Jaclyn needed to have cranial reconstructive surgery and would be in the hospital until June 29, my wedding was on June 1! She train she didn't have access to Jaclyn's accounts and she didn't have enough money to refund my $1150. So I'd have to wait the 3 weeks for Jaclyn to recover. So fine I'll wait to see how this goes, we'll come June 25 I can't wait and I feel like I need to take action now. So I message them and also start researching more online and find a review I didn't see before that said someone else got a message from "Jaclyn's mom" saying she was in a coma!

By far the most unprofessional photographer I have ever worked with. I run a venue in Myrtle Beach and do wedding planning and all I can say is STAY AWAY! Calls, texts, and emails do not get returned. Her videographer has not been paid for jobs done. Photos are not good and are delivered UNEDITED. The list goes on and on!

This has been one of the worst experiences with photographers I have had. It has been over a year since my wedding and I still haven’t received everything I’ve paid for. Trying to contact her is basically pointless. She hounds you for your money and then once you have paid, them she acts like your not a priority anymore. She threatened to take legal action when I had been in the loop with her a financial hardship that had come up. Now it’s 8 months later since we fully paid and still no product. She always says she sends to my email and it doesn’t go through. Which makes no sense, because her invoices came through JUST fine. I feel like I’m being scammed. I could have paid wayyyy less and gotten way more and my product by now. And to be honest better pictures. EXTREMELY UNIMPRESSED! The photos that are uploaded are just recent messages.
