The best wedding weekend thanks to Three Chimneys!

Three Chimney's provided us with the best wedding experience we could have imagined! From the beautiful venue itself, with so much character, to the delicious food, they were the entire package. Kelsey and Romayne were incredible and made planning so easy and stress free. They really went out of their way to add in special touches for us and make sure that we didn't need to think of anything other than having fun and enjoying our special day. They also took care of our rehearsal and dinner the night before our wedding and made sure everything went smooth the entire weekend. We couldn't be happier and only have good things to say. Looking forward to visiting for our anniversary dinner! Thank you so much!!

    Perfect Early Fall Wedding

We had our wedding this past weekend at the Three Chimneys and everything was absolutely perfect the entire way through. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and the plated dinner service was impeccable. My guests could not believe the food could be that good for a crowd of 85 people! Thank you for an amazing wedding weekend Kelsey and the Three Chimneys staff!

We had our pre-wedding family dinner at the inn and it was wonderful.

Next day we had our ceremony and our breakfast brunch wedding reception. The food was amazing and service was excellent. Staff made certain that we were completely satisfied prior, during and after our wedding. Stayed at the inn the night before and night of the wedding and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable.

Amazing location for outside wedding photos! ESPECIALLY in winter (who knew)!!!!!

My wedding at Three Chimneys Inn was nothing short of magical. From the beginning our wedding planner, Pauline was absolutely wonderful and extremely patient as we contacted her endlessly throughout the year with tons of questions and ideas. On the day of my wedding it rained and she saved the day and kept me sane while wrangling guests and getting them to the right place, as well as decorating the church with the items we originally had for the garden. She is an absolute gem and a pleasure to work with. The rest of the staff was lovely as well, we had a wonderful bartender (Corinne) both nights and a fabulous server (Heather) whom I cannot say enough nice things about.

On top of that, the inn itself is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are going through a complete renovation. My bridesmaids and I stayed in the bridal suite, newly renovated, which was gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. We got ready in that room with our hair stylist and make up artist, and it was a fabulous time. Everyone loved the place, it has so much character and it truly makes you feel like you are living in another time, with all of our present day amenities. My guests are still raving about their experience at the inn. I will absolutely be back on our yearly anniversaries. I love this place so much!

In addition, the food at this place is INCREDIBLE. It is seriously some of the best eating in New England. We had both our rehearsal dinner and our reception at the inn, and both nights people were raving about the food. We had 5 vegetarians there and they each had a wonderful meal apart from the buffet.

Everything about this place is absolutely perfect and I give it an A++ and 5 gold stars. If you book your wedding at this venue, you will not be disappointed!

Thank you so much to Pauline and all of the staff at Three Chimneys Inn for providing our wedding guests and us with cozy, fantastic hotel rooms, 2 awesome function rooms and a great historic tavern for our wedding on July 16, 2016! My Groom and I are beyond happy with choosing TCI to host our family portraits, cocktail hours, reception and hotel rooms for our 126 guests. Pauline was so attentive and compassionate through our year of wedding planning. We had countless tours of the 3 rooms and the gardens. The colors in our photographs and videos are spectacular and really portray the beauty of their property. We love TCI and will return soon!

My husband and I were wed at the Three Chimneys Inn in June 2016, and we could not have been happier with our decision to choose it as our venue! First and foremost, the staff is incredible! Pauline manages to handle about a hundred and one tasks simultaneously. If you think she’s a little unresponsive (as we’d read in reviews, but never experienced ourselves ) it’s because she’s operating at a level higher than typical human comprehension. Somehow, she and her staff manage to keep every single minute detail that you’ve discussed over months of planning on track even when it seems like an impossible, Herculean task. Unfortunately, it rained on the day of our wedding, which was scheduled to be an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. While we opted to move the cocktail hour indoors a couple of hours ahead of time (still not an easy change to pull off) it wasn’t until 5:10 pm of our scheduled 5:00 pm ceremony that it became obvious that an outdoor ceremony would not be feasible. Pauline managed to maintain her composure and quickly mobilized staff and the groomsmen to re-set the reception room as a ceremony venue in blazing fast speed. Everything turned out SPECTACULAR! Cassie and her team of service staff also were both unobtrusive and attentive and the bartender always managed to keep the line to under 3 people despite open bar. We cannot thank the staff of the Three Chimneys Inn enough for all of their hard and SKILLED work! They were flexible as any problems arose, professional at all times, and extremely friendly and inviting.

The venue itself is a gorgeous inn with lush greenery on the grounds and a nearby river landing perfect for photographs. It is the perfect place for a rustic vibe for your wedding. The rooms are also gorgeous and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. The wedding food was fantastic! We had guests comment it was the best dinner they’d ever had at a wedding. We cannot recommend them enough for couples seeking a venue for their big day!

The Three Chimneys Inn was the first and consequently ONLY venue my husband and I considered when we first started planning our October 18th wedding. The Inn itself offers classic New England charm and the wedding coordinator, Pauline, was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable.

Leading up to our big day, Pauline was more than willing to conference via email, phone, and in person (on more than one occasion). To say that she was accommodating and attentive would be an understatement given that she went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was a complete reflection of what my husband and I envisioned, even helping us plan a Friday night welcome party and a Sunday brunch.

The entire wedding weekend was flawless and all our guests were enamored by the Inn, the food, and the staff who made it all happen! We truly had the wedding of our dreams!

My wife and I just had our wedding reception at the three chimneys inn. As you can imagine since I am rushing out to write a review of the venue, it was a major success. The grounds were beautiful, and though we did not get married there, we had our photos taken there. The food was phenominal and everyone was continually saying it was "the best wedding food" they had ever tasted. The ambiance in the room was perfect, and the staff were more than accomodating and friendly. The whole process certainly made the wedding day just that much less stressfull for the both of us. The special diatary restrictions were met without hitches, and the cake cutting service was also perfect. In all I would reccomend this place to anyone who wants to have the perfect wedding day.

I was very satisfied with the Three Chimneys Inn food and their facilities. The food was delicious and their chef was very accommodating / flexible. The inn was very well taken care of. It was a very charming place to get married. And their staff was very friendly and helpful. However, their wedding coordinator was somewhat forgetful, and didn't have the wedding running as promptly and on schedule as I'd hoped. However, she's a very busy lady! Also, the front desk was unattended when we tried to check out, thus delaying us. However, on the whole I would recommend this venue and we were happy with our choice to use them! We will definitely visit the Three Chimneys again!!

The staff at the Three Chimneys made our wedding day absolutely perfect. I had spent a lot of time creating DIY decorations, and Pauline did a beautiful job setting everything up. The entire day ran smoothly, without my husband or I ever having to worry about anything besides enjoying ourselves. My one complaint is that emails were not always answered promptly during the planning process.

I cannot say enough about this location. Getting married in the fall, we were able to get married outside in the beautiful gardens. After the ceremony, while we had pictures taken in the garden and on the Oyster River, our guests were entertained at a beautiful out-door cocktail hour. We then had a lovely reception inside, with a dancing and the most amazing food. I also cannot say enough about how great Leslie, the wedding coordinator, was. She was organized and was great about shuttling people around to where they needed to be. The value was exceptional -- we spent much less than our friends did for their weddings and got much more.

My husband & I had our wedding at the Three Chimneys Inn in October 2012. When we first toured the Inn, I immediately fell in love with its character. It has a wonderful old New England charm and lent itself well to the classic, semi-formal-yet-not-stuffy vibe we envisioned for our wedding. The grounds are stunning and the buildings are decorated to showcase the time period they emerged from.

Pauline, the event coordinator, is very sweet and knowledgeable. However, she can be hard to get in contact with and a little disorganized; I definitely recommend keeping good notes throughout the planning process and being aware of changes made without your approval. We had a couple of little snafus on our wedding day that could easily have been avoided if the staff was more organized. That being said, we are extraordinarily pleased with how our wedding turned out and would not change venues if we could do it all over again. Our guests loved the historical feel of the entire property, and the food was AMAZING. All of the staff members we encountered were very kind and willing to help with whatever we needed.

I did not give five stars for value because it was definitely more expensive to have our wedding at TCI than it would have been at other venues in the area. However, the package was fairly inclusive, the suggested vendors were wonderful and the service was excellent. My husband & I agreed from the beginning that it was worth spending more money to have a venue that was more unique and intimate than the standard country club or ballroom...the old "you get what you pay for" mantra applies here.

I would recommend TCI to any couple who are organized and prepared to spend a large chunk of their budget on the venue! We had a beautiful wedding and will absolutely return for anniversary dinners or overnight stays!

My husband and I chose the Three Chimneys Inn for out wedding and it was the perfect charming, and rustic location for our event. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating. The food was even better; everyone kept telling us how amazing the food was.

The biggest issue with the venue is the wedding coordinator, Pauline. As our wedding drew closer, she was harder and harder to get in contact with. Several of my emails with important info and questions went completely unanswered (which tends to cause a lot of stress weeks before your wedding). She was also very forgetful and certain details had to be repeated three or four times before she had them correct. For our entire wedding weekend she was absent; we literally only met her once when we took a tour of the venue, over a year before the wedding.

Like I said, the rest of the staff was amazing, helpful, and very professional. You just need to be very organized and hands on in your wedding planning.

Overall I would say that our wedding was a success. The venue is beautiful and everything went smoothly.

My only criticism is that I felt the level of service during the planning process was not amazing. I was very thankful to have a wedding planner and to have kept all of my old emails, because the first two times we met with the coordinator at the Inn, she had incorrect information about my wedding and did not seem prepared. In addition, two weeks before the wedding, the Inn changed a policy about the type of chairs that could be used outside and expected me to pay for a portion of renting new chairs, lower quality chairs. I felt that given the amount of money we were spending at the Inn for the three days we would be there, it was poor business practice to ask us to pay for renting chairs.

Thankfully, my wedding planner insisted that I would not be paying any additional money for the chairs and it ended up raining on my wedding day, so everything was held inside with the nicer chairs.

Despite these small issues before the wedding, the wedding day and wedding weekend was wonderful. The food was fantastic, the servers were great, and everything went very smoothly. We stayed at the Inn for three nights and the rooms were great. We had a small snafu with the rooms, but it all got worked out. As far as I know, all of my guests were really happy. The rooming staff was very nice and made us feel welcome the entire time we were there.

I would definitely recommend the Inn, but I would caution any bride to keep everything documented and to make it very clear what you want from the beginning. Having a wedding planner definitely helped!

We utilized the Three Chimney's for our rehearsal dinner and for our wedding party to stay. Our reception was held at the Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse in Durham. Ground and venue at Three Chimney's was beautiful! Rooms were perfect for the vibe we wanted - GREAT space for pictures. We got ready in their "bridal suite" in room 25 and the guys got ready in rooms 5&6. Food for the rehearsal dinner was great - breakfast was just as delicious. Request "Romaine" as a server if you are having any events there! She is the best - SO GREAT and attentive - she always intro'd as "My name is Romaine, like the lettuce!" I am giving 4 stars because of the wedding coordinator Kelsey French. While Kelsey was very helpful and on top of things the day of, she was difficult to plan with throughout the process. At one point we had gone to meet with her (I had planned a trip from UT to NH to meet for final details a few months before the wedding) and she failed to attend the meeting. Not very quick to respond to emails. Overall, great experience with the venue and I would definitely book there again!

Our experience at TCI for our wedding on 10/21/17 was both good and very bad. Kelsey, the coordinator, was responsive to emails and her schedule was flexible. On the wedding day itself, I was happy with how most things went. After the ceremony, Heather personally delivered us a plate of hors d'ouevres and flutes of champagne. The food was INCREDIBLE- people are still raving about it. We chose Buffet #1. The dinner staff was AMAZING. We loved that the TCI team broke down all of our decorations and neatly arranged them in boxes for us after the wedding.
We booked during renovations. The renovated event rooms and guest rooms look great, much more modern and elegant and bright. Unfortunately, EVERY time we went to visit, there were tons of construction equipment littered around the property. I noticed this and mentioned it at my first visit, and even after being PROMISED that the grounds would be cleaned up, wheel barrels, trash cans and other construction type equipment were outside during the rehearsal and on my wedding day. After I complained, they were simply covered up with bright blue tarps. Next, there were hidden costs associated in the venue not made clear in the contract. If you want round tables, you have to pay extra for a rental (that might not be delivered until 5pm the day before your wedding, so you'll have to come back AFTER your rehearsal dinner to decorate them)! Also, if you have more than 100 guests, you have to pay extra per chair. The worst part was the rude lady with dark, short hair and glasses at the front desk. She was so unprofessional and aggressive, and was confused about the start time of the wedding! She told 5 guests the incorrect start time of the wedding, even though I confirmed with her TWICE the week prior when the start time was. Our BEST FRIENDS who came from MO (who were staying on the property) missed our ceremony because she told them the wrong time. I would get married there again, but with major conditions.
