The week before our wedding; we found out that the photo booth company had gone out of business and we were without a photo booth. We called ThoughtBox photo booth two days before and they saved us! Thank you Matt, you are our hero! You saved the wedding!!! -
User1136567 Sent on 04/16/2013I hired ThoughtBox for my wedding and it was a total success! Alex was great to work with. They do custom cut-outs as props in addition to the usual, fun hats and things. We had them do cut-outs of our cat and dog, and my husband and me while we were making faces and things. These were a huge success. Everyone had so much fun, and I've been loving and laughing out loud at the photos.

Annie Sent on 11/13/2011Thought Box Photo Booth was one of the best things about our reception! Everyone had a great time with it and we got over 200 spontaneous, fun pictures of our guests. It was easy enough for the kids to use on their own and one of the operators stayed the whole time to assist and make sure it ran smoothly. They provided a variety of fun props (hats, mustaches, boas, etc) that everyone seemed to enjoy. Whats great about it is that it gives everyone a souvenir photo strip to take home, and one copy that gets left behind for the bride & groom to keep. We had so much fun looking through the pictures during our honey moon - and it was so gratifying to see how much fun our guests were having! It was definitely worth its weight in gold! -

Alex was friendly, professional, and easy to work with, and we got a great deal by booking them early after meeting them at the SB Bridal Expo (2011).
Our guests really loved the Photobooth, and that they could download the pictures after! We really loved using the Photobooth pictures to create a guest book - it let everyone show their personality instead of just signing their names! -
User915965 Sent on 08/29/2012Our day-of service was great...As far as I was able to tell, everything arrived on time, worked, was what we anticipated, etc. The vendor was also flexible in meeting us at the venue when our schedule changed at the last minute, and was flexible with respect to where we wanted to locate the booth. The hard-copy guest book we received was A+, so wonderful to see all the photos of our family and friends and relive the night, and the attendant I remember being friendly and helpful. We also love how our wedding guests can log onto the website and download whatever pictures they'd like or order them from the vendor - that is a nice touch which makes it possible for our guests to continue enjoying our event past the event date. Unfortunately, however, several of our wedding guests brought to our attention the fact that another wedding's photos were linked our wedding's link for one day short of a month following our wedding was disappointing, and a bit embarrassing to explain to our guests. It got resolved so it's no big deal now, but I would say that's what affected our impression of the vendor's overall responsiveness and professionalism. Everything else was great, it was just the problem with the website which was pretty important so kind of a bummer. -
User1481467 Sent on 12/23/2013Let me first state that our wedding venue contracted out the photo booth services to ThoughtBox, so we did not have any direct contact with them. I can't rate them any higher than I have because of two main things. First, and most important, they did not spell my husband's name correctly on the photo strips. We checked and we definitely provided the correct spelling in the form that you fill out to indicate what should print on the photo strips. Clearly this is not okay since all our guests now have photo strips with my husband's name spelled incorrectly. We let them know after the wedding and asked that they reprint the photo strips with his names spelled correctly and mail them to us, but it still was not okay that it was misspelled in the first place.
Second, they bought props. We specifically asked that there be no props. This could very well have been the venue's fault for not telling them, but I do feel like I need to note it in case they were told about this. Also, they had props that were really not good for photo booths -- like masks -- since they covered the entire faces of people.ThoughtBox Photo Booth's reply:

We are so sorry to hear you were not fully satisfied with your experience with our Photo Booth. We always try to ensure our photo strips are spelled correctly. We had even emailed the final proof to your vendor to make sure everything was spelled correct and received an approval. As for the props at your wedding, we were never aware that you did not want any props. We know that if you had come to us at any time during your wedding, we would have put all of them away immediately and would have fixed the spelling of your husband’s name. We are very sorry that this was not communicated to us before and during your wedding from your coordinator. Please feel free to contact us if there is anything we can do.
