We hired a charter bus and the 6-seater SUV for our wedding and both pickup and drop offs went without any problem. I worked with Sara to book the services and she is fantastic! She is so communicative and answered all of my questions and made multiple revisions to the reservation. I was stressed because we needed the bus to pick up guests at two hotels and she helped me work out the timing for both to get to the venue on time. The guests said the ride was smooth and bus was super clean.
The SUV service was also wonderful. It ended raining on the wedding day but the driver helped as much as he could to make sure l and my mom and bridesmaids were covered by umbrellas and parked as close to the front of the building as possible.
Just a wonderful experience from booking to drop off! -

Amazing Service
I cannot begin to tell you how AMAZING this transport service was .. my husband and I got married on 8.18.2023 and Joe and his team definitely lived up to the name . Our Driver was not only early he was soooo professional and pleasant ! I highly recommend this transportation service for weddings , birthdays , graduations I mean they are absolutely the best !!!! And very reasonably priced! -

I have worked with plenty of unreliable transportation companies who can be almost impossible to get ahold of -- the experience with Thoroughbred every time is the complete opposite. Joe, the owner, is extremely responsive and easy to work with. He has a large selection of fleet to choose from and competitive pricing. I will always recommend Thoroughbred to anyone looking for a transportation company! -

Thoroughbred transportation is the best transportation service we could have asked for! From the beginning, they were professional, kind and quick to respond. My now husband and I had a smaller bridal party and as such we didn’t need a huge vehicle or bus for transportation and wanted to save some money here. After contacting several transportation companies, Thoroughbred transportation was the only one to work with us in our smaller budget, making a large SUV available for our groomsmen at a fraction of the price. The wedding day, the drivers were on time and so friendly. We couldn’t recommend Thoroughbred transportation more! -

As the mother of the bride, I appreciated the efficiency, friendliness and quality transportation that Joe and his team provided to take the stress out of worrying about the long drive on country roads. Joe and his team are very responsive and flexible. Everyone arrived to the venue on time. Joe and his team were seriously incredible! They provided transportation for our wedding guests and separate cars for both of our wedding parties. And let me tell you - we were a tough group to deal with. Everything was running late on our end and they were so kind and accommodating. Even with our last minute address changes they were cool, calm and collected and made sure everything ran smoothly. We were even offered to take a quick pit stop to the liquor store when our bridal party was having a bad case of the pre wedding jitters (haha!), it was amazing and I wish I had taken him up on it. After the night ended we had a hard time moving people out to the vehicles but once again they were so patient and kind. We are so so happy to have selected them for our wedding and wish we could do it all again! -

After getting engaged, I started truly wedding planning Summer 2018. My husband and I were stationed in Germany. Half of our guests were coming from out of town and would have treated our wedding weekend as a little vacation! But our ceremony and reception was in two different areas. We went back and forth about hiring transportation, but it was the best choice at the end of the day!
We booked guest accommodations at Kimpton Monaco Baltimore. Our ceremony was at a local catholic church 1 mile away and our reception was a 25-minute drive. Our reception had a FULL open bar. I researched high and low for a reputable company with fair prices. And I stumbled upon Thoughbred.
Joe was absolutely amazing to work with!!! He was very patient with me despite my 6 hour time difference. His company also gives a window before start time and after end time just in case your timeline changes (like mine did!). His prices were very fair too. He ran the show seamlessly with his drivers and worked with my day of coordinator like a dream! The drivers were professional, on time and safe getting my guests around. We highly recommend Joe and his team!

We had a wonderful experience working with Thoroughbred for our New Year’s Eve wedding. When we first contacted Thoroughbred, I was immediately impressed with their responsiveness (we worked with Sara- she is so nice and helpful!). They were willing to give us different options to fit our budget and were very reasonable with pricing. I can’t say the same for any of the other companies I contacted. After we signed the initial contract, we had to make some changes in our booking, and I was a little nervous about this, but they were extremely flexible! A couple days before the wedding, the owner, Joe, gave us a call and finalized all of our details. He was genuinely excited about providing transportation for our wedding, which was sweet. On the evening of the wedding, all of our drivers were prompt, the vehicles were clean, and we had a very positive experience overall. We definitely recommend Thoroughbred! -

Joe was there personally to see the buses off and ensure everything went smoothly. The drivers were great and made sure we had everything handled before leaving the venue at the end of the night (later than planned). Driver arrived on time, car (sedan) was clean, arrived safely. They let me hide in the car while we waited for people to go into the church. This was our driver’s first wedding, so we helped them along a little with music suggestions, but overall a great experience that hit all the major things for wedding transport. -

We are so happy to have had Thoroughbred provide transportation for our wedding. Most of our guests were from out of town and Sara worked with me to make sure our transportation was sufficient. While it is a little pricier than I would have anticipated, the quality of service and peace of mind knowing that our guests could arrive and leave safely was worth it! Our guests even said they had fun on the way home from the wedding on the bus. Would recommend this company to anyone! -

We were referred to thoroughbred through our reception vendor. We are happy with the service and the value was fair considering we made multiple destinations throughout the day. Our bus did run a few minutes late due to traffic to pick the bride up but it worked out in the end. Our driver was very nice and made sure we got to our site safely. There was one turn that the GPS was trying to make to U-turn on the 301 highway but our driver did take her time to make sure we got there safely. Although it ate up some time, I appreciate that we got there safely considering there was a ton of traffic. I would recommend for family and friends to use. -

This bus company was on time, professional, and very responsive to emails. They were so flexible during the planning process and helped find ways to help save us money. My only complaint was that our driver took a wrong turn and we were a bit late and when getting on and off the buses neither driver even stood up to help guests or wedding party on. I had a difficult time getting on the bus in my dress and the bus driver had to be asked to help and even then he didn't get up to help. I would still recommend this company; overall they were a great company, the two bus drives we had on the mini-coach bus were just not fantastic.Thoroughbred Sedan, Van, & Bus's reply:

Joe the owner was awesome to work with. Very friendly and accommodating especially when we needed to push the pickup times a bit. He honestly offered the best price around for the little time we need transportation. He was always professional and very responsive and understanding when I mixed up payment dates in my calendar. The less than 5-star review is towards the drivers we had the day of. I am not sure what exactly the issue was day of as my MOH was the POC for that day. I know she was on the phone with I believe the driver which sounded like an argumentative conversation from where I was at. I know there was an issue with the boys being picked up and transported to the hotel, something about the driver not letting them know he was there (I also don't believe they were expecting a van). When the driver circled back around to pick up the girls he wasn't exactly the friendliest, he was on another phone call the entire drive and while dropping us off he didn't want to seem to get out of the vehicle to assist us even though he eventually did. In the evening we were expecting a phone call from the driver to let us know he was outside which we didn't get. One of our groomsmen happened to step outside and noticed a bus waiting and he checked with the driver to see if he was waiting on us. I then walked outside to confirm that he was indeed there for us as we hadn't gotten a phone call and we needed to move items out of our venue. He never got out of the driver’s seat to assist with anything and he never really spoke to anyone. We were excited to work with Joe and the company but were left a bit disappointed due to the drivers. Again, I am not sure what the miscommunication was or what exactly happened when my MOH was on the phone with I believe the driver, but from how it sounded it didn’t sound very good. Even our bridal party was confused and disappointed in the attitudes of the drivers and the difficulty of being picked in the afternoon from the hotel. I think there was a little confusion on pick up times and I know we were running behind a little bit, but we had final drop off at the venue on or around 4:30 pm (per our contract) and we were there and dropped off with 5- 10 minutes to spare. All our other vendors reached out to us within a few days of the wedding to check in and attempt to clear up any issues if there were any, but we haven’t heard anything from Joe. I was a little disappointed in that but understand he’s running a business and can easily get side tracked. Again, my review is based off the drivers we had the day of and not for Joe. Joe was wonderful to speak with and professional and offered the best pricing for the little transportation we needed. I would also like to reiterate that I do not know anything of the conversation that took place with my MOH and whoever she was speaking to in regards to the transportation.Thoroughbred Sedan, Van, & Bus's reply:

A few things to clarify...The 14 passenger van was ordered by you and under contract as discussed...We did attempt to reach out/find guys prior to picking them up, and then girls. The phone call with your MOH included an update with us being on location/following timeline..nothing intended to be confrontational, so we certainly apologize if that's how it was received. I hate to write a bad review but I want others to be aware of what happened to me. I had paid upfront for the services we quoted, etc. and had confirmation emails just a week prior to my wedding. Come wedding day, the bridal party's transportation was MIA. When I called the owner, he realized that they totally misplaced my reservation. Luckily they were able to provide a school bus for my guests that were getting a ride from the hotel to the venue, however that wasn't what we paid for/wanted. I did receive more than 50% refund and the owner was extremely apologetic. Just want everyone to be aware of my experience.Thoroughbred Sedan, Van, & Bus's reply:

I would like to add that we did get all guests to your wedding on time, we were staged on site at your hotels super early still and we provided a surprise complimentary limousine (not even ordered originally) at receptions end. I also offered you two local bwi transfers and made it a point to stop by your wedding to speak with your bridesmaid in person. I also ensured we had a staff member on the back end of evening to maintain quality control. Very surprised , sad you went on this store front to share, after our dialogue since couldn’t have been anymore perfect. I don’t think you realize that a bad review can hurt myself and my family . I understand if we run from something and are combative on “the wrong”, however we weren’t and we went above and beyond to promptly rectify. -Joe, Owner
