Tom was the best!

Tom made our wedding day the best, and most special day we could have imagined. Obviously COVID has impacted us all, and Tom's flexibility and willingness to help meant the world to us. He is professional, friendly, and everything we wanted in an officiant. Would highly recommend him to everyone!

Vow renewal

Mr. Lang officiated our wedding vow renewal ceremony in February 2020 and he was simply wonderful. He guided us throughout the process and came up with a great idea to get our kids involved in the ceremony (which they loved). It was a pleasure working with him and couldn’t have been a better choice. Thanks Mr Lang!

Excellent Ceremony & Experience

Tom was great! Would highly recommend him for anyone looking for wedding minister. He was professional, kind and knew all the in’s and out’s of what we needed to make our ceremony a success. Won’t have to use him again because I plan on staying married to my new wife but would recommend him to anyone looking!

We very much appreciated how well Tom was prepared for our ceremony. Everybody had great things to say about how wonderful it. You were absolutely amazing in how it was managed before, during and after the ceremony. Thank you again for making our day wonderful with your eloquently spoken service while making sure all the details were covered with everybody. You managed every little detail to make the worries go away. Tom even took time to email that the marriage license had been mailed to the appropriate place while thanking us for being part of our day. He is a wonderful person to have as your officiant.

As newlyweds, we cannot stop raving about how amazing it was to have Tom Lang as our officiant!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We got married in a small ceremony (13 of us) in sunny Palm Springs this May. We reached out to him mid-January to find out more about his services/style - and after the first phone call, we were set! Tom is super friendly, heart-warming, funny, and his approach to the wedding ceremony calmed our nerves because he is so organized. He got to know us through several 'FaceTime' calls, and proposed numerous options (drafts) for how we wanted to proceed with our ceremony (how much storytelling, a light religious aspect, integration of our vows, and even a reading by my sister).

When we landed in Palm Springs, he met with us to do a quick rehearsal too. Day-of, he came prepared, had the reading printed out for my sister, and was dressed perfectly. Tom was also very helpful in helping us apply for a marriage license (the entire process can seem confusing when you have a million things going on already!). He also followed up with us post-wedding to ensure we had all the right information to obtain an official certificate - so great. In the end, the way everything came together felt personal, unique, and memorable. Thank you Tom!

My husband and I eloped and got married in Joshua tree and having Tom there to do our wedding ceremony was just magical! He made our day so special and definitely makes sure it’s personal to the couple! I’m so glad he was able to take part in our ceremony, he’s such a grand individual and my family loved having him their as well. Tom was easy to communicate with through out this process (especially with the short notice we gave him) and answered all of our questions, definitely recommend!

Tom Lang was a pleasure to work with for our wedding ceremony. He came highly recommended from both the hotel wedding coordinator and our personal wedding planner. We had a handful of particulars surrounding our ceremony and Tom worked with us to ensure everything was as we wanted. He is very responsive, and thorough and an overall pleasure to work with! He has many, many options to choose from in terms of script and verbiage and then there is always customization. We highly recommend!

We found the best officiant in the Valley. Tom was very very professional with years of experience. He gave us options of readings to choose from for our ceremony. He has variety of reading and prayers from religious to non-religious every kind of. Our guests also like the ceremony and his voice very much. Overall, I recommend Tom to everyone.

Tom was a pleasure to work with. He took the time to meet with us face to face and gave us helpful tips regarding the wedding processional and the script we wanted to draft. After he reviewed our draft script, he went out of his way to make sure that all pronunciations were correct and on the day of, he delivered the script in a way that had all of our guests engaged/laughing. I couldn't imagine a better officiant for our special day!!

Tom was the perfect choice for our wedding. Although we contacted Tom only a month before the wedding, and although we were very busy in the weeks leading up to the wedding, he was very responsive to email and proactive about leading us through the process. He always listened attentively to our ideas and ultimately left the details up to us. Since we didn't have a lot of time to prepare, the day of the wedding was a bit chaotic, but Tom knew just what to say and do to make sure the ceremony would go off without a hitch. After the ceremony many people commented on what an excellent job he did.

Tom was so helpful even though we never officially met till the wedding, he made it easy by FaceTime and email communication to make this process smooth.
I felt that Tom took my husbands and mys story and truly told it as if he was there. His words and blessings in the ceremony really connected with us because he gave us a outline and options for how we wanted our ceremony to be customized. His flexibility with details and his knowledge really made the process simple!! I would highly highly recommend Tom, he will not disappoint!

Given the fact that Tom is an incredibly kind and trustworthy individual, we couldn't think of a better person to have married us at our spring wedding in La Quinta! He was extremely accommodating and allowed us to really make the ceremony our own, while at the same time stepping in with helpful suggestions based off his expertise. He was very organized throughout the entire process, kept our day-of wedding schedule on track and submitted our marriage license in a timely manner. We will always have fond memories of working with Tom and he will forever be an important part of our special day!

Tom Lang helped create the ceremony of our dreams. He is clearly comfortable with all kinds of ceremonies and was very open to us adding our cultural traditions. We got many comments from our guests that it was the best ceremony they had ever seen, and we have Tom to thank. Tom's warmth and welcoming presence played a large part in the memorable outcome of our recent wedding ceremony. Tom was the officiant for our August wedding and did a fantastic job. He provided a great number of options for us to customize our ceremony just the way we liked it, and working with him was very easy. Judge Lang exceeded all of our expectations! He was very helpful in planning the ceremony with us and provided us with example vows, readings, etc. and always remained flexible and open to our ideas. Tom Lang was great to work with when planning our wedding as well as during the ceremony. His flexible schedule allowed us to meet up with him prior to the wedding to review the ceremony details, discuss our options and advise us on the script and vows. He gave us a great template to start with. I submitted a number of changes, all of which were followed perfectly. His fine voice and professional delivery added class to the occasion and his caring, personal touches made sure everything went off smoothly.

Tom was a joy to work with. Both my husband and I kept talk about how glad we were to have chosen him as the officiant for our ceremony. We had talked a few others and they all kept insisting in increasing for price for our ceremony being on a Holiday weekend or for us having a large wedding party. It was refreshing to talk to him and have a personal, non-business like feel from him. We were on a very tight budget and didn't have rehearsal dinner or wedding planner or any of that - nor would we have wanted to -, Tom was kind enough to reassure us that we didn't need any of these things and to come to our location a few hours in advance to have a rehearsal.
Tom made it a point to stay in touch with us over the phone and videoconferences so that we could go together through the process of scripting our ceremony. Even if he had extensive material and suggestions for affirmations and vows, he welcomed and encouraged our input. My family speaks only Spanish and we did not know how to go about that, thanks to his idea, he had our vows and readings and both English and Spanish and everyone was very pleased and moved.
Tom helped us put together a compact and brief but also very personable and unique ceremony that spoke from our hearts and moved our friends and family. We couldn't be more happy about how things turned out with him!

We are very happy with our choice to hire Tom as the officiant for our wedding. My husband and I are not very religious and really didn't know what we wanted for our ceremony. Tom was great in providing us with an enormous amount of information and options to choose from and mix and match to create a ceremony that was perfect for us. Tom made himself available to speak or skype with us as often as we needed prior to the wedding and really made planning the ceremony easy. Even though we didn't meet Tom in person until our big day, he made us feel extremely comfortable and we felt like we had known him for years. Many people complimented us on how beautiful our ceremony was and we credit that to Tom. I would definitely recommend Tom if you are looking for a wedding officiant!

He was a tremendous help throughout the entire planning process, he was quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns, and offered a great deal of advice for our big day! His attention to detail really showed us how much effort he was putting into making our ceremony absolutely perfect and that's exactly what it was! If we had to do it all over again there is no doubt that choosing Tom would be the easiest decision!

Our original officiant had a medical emergency and had to cancel two weeks before the wedding. We contacted judge Lang and he was promptly able to schedule a convenient meeting with us and was able to perform the ceremony on very short notice. Judge Lang did an awesome job and would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant for any event

Tom was great to work with on our wedding ceremony! From the beginning, Tom met us at our venue and shared thoughts and ideas with us. Tom was an outstanding officiant. He has a great personality and is a pleasure to work with. He let us completely customize our ceremony so it was exactly what we wanted. But he made it work! he still managed to meet with us and work all the details. Judge Lang was awesome, he provided us with a lot of great information, helped us write a ceremony that was perfect for us, and was wonderful when we met him for our initial meet and greet. My only complaint would be that he couldn't stay for the cocktail hour or reception. We found Tom on the internet when looking for a retired judge in the Palm Springs area to perform our ceremony. Tom is a lovely person and did a fantastic job with our wedding ceremony. Personal and amazing are the two words I would use to describe Judge Lang. My mothers biggest concern was that the ceremony wouldn't be personal but I was amazed at the final ceremony after only meeting with us a few times. While he is very organized and has an infinite number of ways to put your ceremony together. He was able to add personal touches above and beyond what we chose which made our wedding special for us too. I have told everyone I know who is looking for a judge to officiate their wedding and he has married at least 2.

He was incredibly flexible and provided us with several options to ensure our vows and ceremony were meaningful and personalized. We had a very small wedding (only 15 people) at La Quinta Resort, but even so I researched and chose vendors as carefully as if it had been for 200. I was very happy to have found Tom Lang of Vows 4 You. We put our wedding together on short notice (only 2 months in advance) with unusual circumstances. My fiancé was out of the country and he and Tom were not able to meet until the day before our wedding. Regardless, in that one hour meeting Tom got to know him and both of us so well (asking all the right questions) that he was able -- just overnight -- to write the most lovely, personalized and perfect ceremony we could ever have asked for. He also just has the most wonderful voice (which many of our guests remarked on). Thank you, Tom, for all of your patience with us and our situation, and working so hard in just a few short hours to make our day special. You not only met but exceeded by far all expectations. I only wish our little do-it-yourself video had been able to pick up your beautiful words.

What can we say, but that it was a "perfect" day! Tom was so easy to work with and totally let us make it exactly as we wanted. All our attendees "loved" him and commented on how relaxed and unhurried he was. We had googled "wedding officiants" when looking for someone to marry us and out of all the websites that showed pictures of the officiants, his was the only face that said "choose him". It was our lucky day to have had Tom marry us!!

It was very reassuring to have such a consummate professional up at the Alter with us. Tom knows what he is doing and is an incredibly nice guy. We received several compliments from the wedding guests on how nice a job Tom did.

My name is Annette Carney, my husband and I live in Hesperia California but due to his deployment we needed to be married in Waukegan Illinois. I located Mr. Lang by phone and he and his lovely wife helped us plan the most beautiful day of our lives through email and phone calls. My husband and I are still happily married and still look back on our wedding day. Mr. Lang is very warm and supportive, We have talked about renewing our vows so all the children can be there and we will definitely use Mr. Lang.

My wife got in touch with Judge Lang right before I deployed to Iraq, we did not have a big wedding or even a lot of time for planning. My wife and I are from California, but because I was being deployed I was in Wisconsin and she was still in California. My wife and Judge Lang only talked over the phone. She told him what we wanted and he made everything happen perfectly. He found a great spot to get married in Illinois. The day my wife flew out to pick me up we met up with Judge Lang and he gave us a breakdown of different services that he could provide for us. He went above and beyond everything that my wife and I expected. My wife and I could not have been more pleased. It was truly an honor for us to be married by this great man. Thank you very much for everything Judge Tom Lang.

He was in it with us it felt like part of the whole event but didn't step on our toes. He was early and walked through how it was going to go with both me and my wife witched relaxed me. I would recommend Tom to anyone and everyone getting married.

Tom Lang was the epitome of professionalism! From the very first meet and greet that my fiance' and I had with this man, I knew that he would not disappoint. He explained to us what he could do and asked numerous questions on what we were looking to have delivered at our twilgiht ceremony (one of the last ones ever held at the Country Squire)! We also appreciated his list of selected readings, prayers and the varieties of ceremonies, because up until then, we were confounded with all the possibiliites out there. He e-mailed us a list of materials, we made our selections, and then just plugged it into a format he offered! It truly took alot of the confusion off us at a time when we already had enough to think about! Tom kept in touch with us over the Summer (even when he was on vacation out West) and was simply a joy to work with! Well mannered, courteous, and an overall good guy!!! If you are looking for a classy wedding, choose Tom Lang to officate...he will exceed your expectations and delivery a stellar performance! Judge Lang was a pleasure to work with. He was able to accommodate all of our suggestions in making our ceremony personalized and thoughtful. Working with a couple that doesn't live in the same city is not an easy task, however Judge Lang Skped with is on several occasions and met with us in Chicago when needed. HIs services are affordable compared to other officiants in Chicago. We would definitely recommend having Judge Lang officiate your ceremony.

Tom Lang was a great addition to our wedding party. It was a pleasure to have him officate our service. We wanted a small, quaint ceremony and he was very accomodating. Tom provided us with all the material we needed to make our wedding day extra special. He completly accomodated every wish that we had. He was very thorough with us to make certain that our needs were fully met. We would very highly recomment Reverand Tom Lang to anyone who wants a quality service provided at a very reasonable cost.

Judge Lang was great. He was very helpful through the whole process and really listened to us when helping us put the ceremony together. The reception was fun, but the ceremony was my favorite part and a memory I will never forget in large part due to Judge Lang.
