Engagement photos/wedding
Such a pleasure to work with Thomas! Our wedding is in November and he shot our engagement photos and they came out absolutely beautiful!! Our whole bridal party and immediate family is obsessed and I know everyone else will be too once we send out our invitations! He’s very easy to work with, made us both comfortable and he just told us to be our goofy selves. Thank you so much! -

We looked at a lot of photographers getting ready for our wedding but did not feel as comfortable on the phone with any of them as much as we were with Thomas. Within the first minute of our conversation I knew we would book him. He is incredibly personable and down to earth and he made my husband and me (especially me haha) feel SO MUCH more relaxed about our wedding day. The day of the wedding he was so helpful and just wonderful to have around. And then the photos!!!! Incredible. He understands how to capture emotion so well, I was blown away. Thanks Thomas! -

Four (out of four) thumbs up!
My fiance and I hired Thomas to do our engagement photos and had a wonderful time with him at our shoot. We came in having NO idea what we were doing or what exactly would look good and he was able to talk us through several different options and help us pick out good spots at our site (a park) to use. Thomas was kind and flexible around our need to shift dates due to weather since our shoot was outside, punctual, prepared, and prompt in delivering a great variety of final photos to choose from. We enjoyed our experience with him so much that we've hired him to photograph our wedding as well. -

Thomas is incredibly friendly and professional. Get used to hearing “One more photo.” LOL. He’s very open to ideas from his clients but I feel his are better. We saw his candid pictures portfolio and knew he was the photographer we wanted for our wedding reception. Modestly priced. I have no regrets hiring him. I will hire him again in the future if I need a photographer. Hire this man! Thank you! -

We had to postpone our destination wedding to July 2021, but wanted to keep our original date. Thomas Hedges saved my wedding day. While on a tight budget, I was looking for a photographer for a very small wedding but having photos was very important to us. I could not find anyone within my budget when suddenly a message from Thomas appeared and he said he could do it for us in cash. He was punctual, well mannered and a delight to have with us. He took 1,500 candid shots of us, laughing, drinking champagne and captured the happiness and deep expressions, as well as our legs on the dance floor! Thomas was confident and professional. He has a gift for photography. Thank you, Thomas. I would hire him again! -

I was so impressed by Thomas' ability to strike a balance between being relaxed and professional. He was funny, friendly and made the whole process of taking family/friends photos completely harmless. When he wasn't busy directing for photos (which he only did for a few minutes and very efficiently), he was capturing amazing candids and interacting with our guests, who also spoke very highly of him. I was impressed with Thomas before we even spoke. His website indicated not only his talent for photography but also his writing that demonstrated his journalistic and creative edge. Thomas was able to translate what we were looking for in capturing a non traditional unique wedding celebration, and was able to tell a story with photos and having an edge to work outside the box, not just going through the standard wedding shots to create the same type of album your girlfriends have. He captured those fleeting moments that memories are made of. He recognized opportunities for unique angles and situations that resulted in a collection of photos that lead the viewer through the day as if they were actually there. The colors, angles, expression, humor, silliness and tears were photographed against a background of love and fun. He was always there when something picture worthy was happening. While most brides don’t sit in their empty bathtubs after putting on their wedding dress for a few moments of contemplation of the day ahead, and a few moments of utter excitement and resulting silliness, these shots were among my favorites. It was a fun day. Thomas quickly developed a easy rapport with my family and guests and was very personable. I highly recommend Thomas without hesitation. He was great to work with, produced awesome collection photos and made a special day even more memorable. I cannot thank him enough. -

Our wedding was the culmination of so many dreams that we wanted to make sure we would always remember it -- and Thomas was the perfect photographer and videographer to do that for us. He has an artist's eye for framing and capturing moments that I didn't even notice during the event, and his images brought tears to my eyes when I saw them--so many dear, loved ones brought together in celebration. Thomas was incredibly easy to work with and understood exactly what we were going for. Extremely professional, but also very friendly. And, a big plus, he is fluent in French, so was able to converse with our French-Canadian cousins. There's a lot of stress that goes into a big event like this, but having an artistic, easy-going pro like Thomas document it for our memories definitely took a load off our minds! -
