    AMAZING experience

    Let me just start off with saying the owner Gary is beyond AMAZING!
    We had planned our wedding for November 2019, but life had other plans. We wanted to still use the same venue as planned and Gary was such a HUGE help with letting us still be able to use the venue at a sooner time! Gary helped us pull together our wedding in a matter of weeks!
    Another great thing to add to the list is the bridal and groom suites, and girls the bridal suite is FANTASTIC! We had so much room for all the girls to get ready and for people to relax and hang before the wedding. They also set up and dismembered all the chairs and tables before and after the wedding!

    I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants either the simplest of weddings or something extravagant! It’s the perfect outdoor rustic setting for a southern wedding!

    Wedding Coordinator

    The venue itself is a great and beautiful setting. If only it had a different owner. I was helping my dear friends find a venue for their daughter’s wedding reception and recommended they look at Thistlewood Farms. The setting was perfect, but venue owner was horrible!! Gary was difficult to work with and EXTREMELY rude to all the females who were setting up for the reception. I am not sure who the lady was that was helping him that morning, but she was very unprofessional herself. She asked someone who was helping us, “are you related to any of these people?” My friend replied, “No, I am just helping and going to be an Uber.” Gary’s worker said, “Well good because she is a bit**.” Guess his worker was as much as a jack*** as Gary.
    There are so many other venues in the area with 100% better working relationships than Thistlewood. I highly suggest avoiding Thistlewood.
