Best decision ever! Amazing photos and so much fun with Hector & Tessa!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Hector, Tessa, and their team!!! From the very beginning, they were an absolute dream to work with.

We first met Hector during our engagement shoot, and he immediately made us feel so comfortable and natural (which we needed). Then on the wedding day, we got to meet the beautiful Tessa, and this husband and wife duo is EVERYTHING. They are so fun, kind, and bring the best energy.

Their style was exactly what we were looking for: movement-based, in-the-moment, and capturing real emotion while still getting stunning portraits. We are truly obsessed with our photos.

Throughout the entire process, they were responsive, thoughtful, and worked seamlessly with our planner to keep everything on track. I had zero stress when it came to photography.

They made me feel so confident and beautiful, and I will be recommending them to everyone I know. They are worth every single penny. If you can book them, DO IT!

Photos have always been deeply meaningful to me, so choosing the right photographer felt personal from the start. When I reached out to Photos by Hector, something just clicked. They are the kind of husband and wife team that makes you feel cared for right away. I connected with Tessa instantly, especially over our love for our pets, and talking to her felt like talking to a friend. Hector photographed our wedding and captured moments that I will hold close forever.

I am still going through all the photos. There are plenty of those “ugly smiles.” Brides, you know exactly what I mean. You swear you are going to serve face all day, but when you are that happy, Vogue can wait, lol

One of the things I appreciate the most is having such incredible photos of our guests. That is often overlooked, and seeing every single person we love having the time of their lives is more than I could have asked for. Hector’s work is a true expression of happiness, and that joy shines through.

My only regret? Not hiring Hector for more hours. 4 was not enough.

The Best Experience!

When I came across Hector’s page, I instantly knew his style was exactly what I wanted for our engagement shoot. Still, I was a bit nervous to reach out — he was in another country, and the whole idea felt so foreign to me. Thankfully, my fiancé encouraged me to go for it, and I’m so glad I did! Hector replied quickly, answered every question I had, and before I knew it, we were on our way to Puerto Rico.

The photos turned out even better than I imagined, especially the candid shots. I’d never done a professional photoshoot before, but Hector made us feel completely at ease. He guided us effortlessly while still giving us space to enjoy the experience and even take a few of our own photos.

If you’re on the fence about booking, don’t hesitate — just do it. You won’t regret it.

5+ Star Artist Dedicated to his Craft

Hector is an absolute genius and artist in his craft. Incredibly talented. Before I was even dating and engaged I had stumbled across Hector's work and fell in love with his style. His shots capture a beautiful candid light of his subjects with such an almost cinematic touch to his photos. He was so helpful and kind with all our communication. I wanted him to take our wedding photos but unfortunately I live in Florida, so making a mid week far wedding work in between two weekend wedding shoots is super difficult. However, that for sure will not stop me and my soon to be husband from booking all our future milestone photo shoots with Hector every time we go back to PR.
Our engagement photo shoot literally exceeded our wildest dreams and we couldn't be more happy. Hector deserves way more than 5 stars. He genuinely made us both feel so comfortable and we had a great time with him! I couldn't recommend Hector and his wife more!

Our wedding photos are a masterpiece!

Normally, my husband and I are remarkably unphotogenic. The moment a camera is pointed in our direction, we look like we’re being hunted for sport. But you’d never know it looking at our wedding album.

Hector and Tessa are true artists and professionals. They have a unique talent for making you feel completely at ease in front of the camera while capturing your true essence. They were so kind, fun, and went out of their way to get the perfect shots.

I still can’t believe these are my wedding photos. We will cherish them forever. I couldn’t recommend them enough! 10/10

Just Fantastic!

Working with Hector was a dream! He truly cares about the work he produces and puts his ALL into capture the most special moments of the day. He was thoughtful, kind and intentional with all of his efforts, planning and communication prior to the wedding and day of. He calm energy and "behind the scenes" vibe allowed us to be super present during our wedding day and not have to worry about too many "posed" moments. I would definitely recommend hiring the second photographer for a few hours during your most desired times of capture. We did that - and it was a great decision! His prices are super reasonable and the value + gallery size you get is unmatched! He captures great candids and magical moments. Just make sure you fill out his survey prior to make sure you get the best and most important shots you want! I would definitely recommend him as your wedding photographer!

The Best in PR

Hiring Hector and Tessa was the best decision I made for my wedding! They were so easy to work with and played the perfect role in capturing our perfect day! They were professional and knew who and when to take pictures without much direction. Hector sent our sneak peak within 2-3 days of the wedding and we got our album before 2 months which is incredible!!! Our pre wedding shoot was sooo fun. Hire them! Worth every penny.

They made us look cooler than we actually are!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with the incredible husband-and-wife duo behind Fotos by Hector (photo) and Reel Feels Video (video), and we truly cannot recommend them enough!
They had shot our groomsman’s sister’s wedding, so we already knew they were talented, but experiencing their creativity firsthand was a whole new level. From the moment we connected with them, it felt right.
Hector and Tessa truly captured our relationship, our cultures, and all the little moments in between that made our day so personal and meaningful. The perfect vibes

Hector and Tessa were amazing! Gerardo and I were looking for a photograper and videographer that would be laid back, captures us in our element, very natural and not looking too posed. They were very professional and made us feel at ease since we’re both quite shy and not huge fans of having our pics taken lol. But Hector also did our engagement shoot and we felt very at ease and knew the wedding day would be a breeze. Their style is very much what we wanted. They were very responsive to our requests of “must take” pics with family members. Everyone in our family loved the pictures as well. Would 100% recommend to couples looking for calm vibes and candid photography style.

Great experience

Hector was an amazing photographer! He was affordable, on time, organized, and did most of his work totally invisibly. My family, many of whom are exclusive Spanish speakers, were relieved to have a bilingual photographer and found him very respectful to the family members of all ages. We were one of many couples who suffered some COVID-related delays and rescheduling, and Hector was with us throughout and was often understanding of all the complicated circumstances that went into rescheduling the wedding (more than once!) We loved the photos that came from him and his website ordering was easy to use. Though I hope not to get married again haha, I'd be glad to hire Hector again!

Simply the best

Okay so where do I even begin? My fiancé and I were looking to do an engagement photoshoot in San Juan while on vacation (and looking for our wedding venue) I began looking for someone and came across Hector. And boy oh boy are we so happy we found him. He literally was so helpful from choosing a time and day to shoot. He responded to all of my questions in a timely manner and offered some tips before the photoshoot. We went all around the city of San Juan and captured the beauty and charm of the city in all of our photos. We are beyond grateful for Hector and his work. AMAZING experience working with Hector!

I hired Hector for my bridal shower and wedding welcome party. He was the best! He arrived on time, was extremely professional and nice and took pictures non stop! The pictures turned out AMAZING. He sent them back in about a month, which felt like a super quick turn around! He took a combination of candid and posed pictures, but even the posed pictures look natural and relaxed. His edits are beautiful and highlight natural lighting. I would highly recommend Hector for your wedding and any other events for natural, candid but flattering pictures you will cherish forever!

Hector was absolutely amazing on our wedding day - truly could not have been better. He captured each moment so perfectly and really saw the big picture on our wedding day. Hector made everything seem so easy & seamless. Having to move our wedding an entire year due to covid, Hector was flexible and understanding throughout the entire time. Our destination wedding took place in St. Martin & Hector is extremely experienced in destination weddings. He rolled with the punches and adjusted as needed when our wedding timeline changed. He captured every moment so perfectly with little to no direction from us at all! He also made us feel EXTREMELY comfortable which allowed for amazing candid & in the moment shots that I will cherish forever. As 2 people who do not enjoy being in front of the camera, he made it fun & effortless. I also highly recommend using Reel Feels videography - the 2 worked together so perfectly! Hector shot our engagement photos in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico and my fiancé and I are over the moon with how the photos came out. I loved how Hector had most of his pricing already on his website so there were no strings attached or hoops to jump through. He answered every one of my emails and text messages quickly and was great to work with. My fiancé and I are by no means models and we are not use to having our photos professionally taken. If you're looking for responsiveness, communicativeness, and fun - hire Hector! He was so patient with us while we tried to navigate the delays and issues around COVID szn. He was even willing to fly up to take elopement stye photos even when we couldn't have our actual wedding day. His direction was patient and kind - it was just like having a friend (who knows what they're doing) taking our pictures: no rush, no pressure. Recreating our engagement shoot with our daughters

We reached out to Hector with an idea 5 years after our wedding to re-shoot our engagement photos, however this time we wanted to include our two little girls. We went back out to UCF and had a great time with our family and Hector visiting some sites and reminiscing about memories from our engagement shoot, our wedding and having kids now. Fast forward a few days, we get our pictures and they are stunning. The album will be something special to our family for a long time. It was really cool to be able to do such a neat idea with someone we’ve stayed on a first-name basis with for over 5 years since we got married. If we got married all over again, I’d call Hector in a heartbeat. Thanks a ton!

Hector's work is amazing

When I was planning my wedding, the first thing that I knew I wanted was amazing pictures. Having him for my event was everything I wanted and needed. He was so professional, but down to earth and had his camera on deck for all the action. I love having the real photo without it being so posey and unnatural. He was so creative with our surrounding. Great time, great pictures!

We chose Hector because he was highly recommended. The recommendations were not wrong, the pictures look amazing! Hector was responsive, nice, professional, and accommodative. Hector is a dream

HECTOR WAS AMAZING! I chose him because I love his style of editing. Warm tones forever! Hector is sweet, kind, and super cool. He captured my proposal to my fiancé, and we had a session thereafter that we considered our engagement session. It was awesome. Hector made us feel very comfortable; my fiancé is more camera shy than I am and I could feel her more relaxed than she's been at other shoots. We got our photos fast, and they are stunning. Photos of our dreams!

Hector and his girlfriend Tessa did our photography/ videography for our destination wedding in San Juan, PR! I was so excited about their willingness to travel. I fell in love with Hector’s work- his photos were all so authentic and classic looking. When we met Hector and Tessa for the first time we knew we made the right decision, they were so fun to be around and didn’t make anything feel awkward or uncomfortable! Hector, our official go-to guy :)

How do I even begin? Hector was not only a testament to true professionalism, but provided my boyfriend and I with photos we simply can't get enough of. Dealing with foreign NY subway traffic we were SO LATE, I was freaked and sorry, but Hector was simply just chilling on a bench (very patiently) awaiting our arrival. As a girl who is ALWAYS LATE this tiny piece of kindness did so much for my day and experience :) We treasure our photos, loved our experience, and can't wait to hire sir Hector again. Amazing photos and turnaround time

Hector was amazing from beginning to end. We found him through his work on Instagram and loved his compositions, color editing, and general ambience of his photos, so we messaged him on his website. He responded really quickly, was VERY warm and welcoming and so we immediately decided to go with him as our wedding photographer. It felt like a no brainer. We corresponded until the day of the wedding, during which he made us feel very at ease, especially since we aren't the PDA type and didn't really know how to pose. He also got a ton of candid photos of us + our friends and family. He truly is a great wedding photographer who we would recommend.

Hector and his team were very personable and super easy to work with.

I loved my best friend's wedding photos so much, I booked him for myself!! He is very talented and we were utterly blown away by our photos. I said going into it that I hoped our photos/video came out perfect; since other than memories, photos are the only thing you take away from the day (after all the planning, seating charts, dancing, dodging family fights, nerves, and lets be honest drinking etc the day went by so quickly). I was also surprised at the sheer volume of photos he managed to get. He was like a ninja I guess because I never felt like we were posing or that he was right in our faces to get the shots, but they came out just perfect. He even got an impromptu jumping photo with some crowd surfing action :D I can't recommend him enough!

Candid photos!

If you are looking for natural and candid pictures to honestly represent your big day, Ector is the perfect fit! My husband and I really wanted natural pictures without all those pictures that you see everyone take. Amazing Not-at-all Cheesy Wedding Photography

Ector photographed our wedding on 10/13/18 and was absolutely amazing. Amazing!!!!

Ector was absolutely amazing during our wedding day. He had us do a casual (which is totally our style) engagement shoot before the big day, which made it so easy to just go with the flow on our actual wedding day. He was really great at making us forget that he was even there, but at the same time gave direction when it was necessary to get a really beautiful shot.

Our photos came out absolutely stunning. When I was looking for photographers I saw my fair share of bad wedding photos from the super cheesy to the over-edited and I was delighted that our photos were nothing like that. Every emotion he captured just looked so natural and he did a spectacular job of catching the energy of our day. I would absolutely recommend Ector!!

Beautifully captured our same sex wedding

We are a same-sex couple who could not be happier to have had Éctor as our wedding photographer. His photos of our engagement shoot, wedding ceremony, and reception, are all simply stunning. His photos strike the right balance of being artistic, flattering, and timeless without being over-stylized or unrealistic. How did he manage to capture all of the special moments without interrupting us or making us feel like we were acting/on stage?! Everyone who has seen our wedding photos has told us that they are beautiful. We were also floored by the speed with which Éctor was able to send us our photos after the wedding. Throughout our wedding process, Éctor was professional and carried a positive energy — we not only enjoyed his work, but we also enjoyed spending time with him. Finally, as a same-sex couple, it was important to us that our wedding vendors be LGBT friendly, and Éctor more than fit that bill — he never once made us feel anything other than completely respected and he treated us like any other couple. We found Ector through a referral. From the first Skype session, he was professional and easygoing and helped us to feel immediately at ease -- especially as a couple that is not usually comfortable even thinking about being photographed! He was genuinely as excited for our wedding as we were. He was so much fun to work with. After the event, he was super quick with getting us both a sneak peek and our full album. Ector is the absolute best. We had an evening wedding that started late and ran longer than expected and I was worried that we'd miss the golden hour for getting in the shots that I wanted. I couldn't have been more wrong. I was completely blown away when I saw our wedding pictures. To say Ector exceed my expectations, is a huge understatement.
He traveled from out of town to photograph our wedding, and we invited him to the rehearsal dinner the night before and when we got our wedding album back, he had taken pictures at our rehearsal dinner and included them in our package FREE of CHARGE!
My only regret is that we're not in the same city so he can take all of our milestones photos going forward.

Ector has left my wife and I truly satisfied with his work, attention and the quality of his pictures. It has been a pleasure to go through the many (MANY) pictures that he took of us, our family and friends.

We recommend him without reservation to anyone looking for a wedding photographer and here are 3 reasons why:

1) He has a great personality and you won't mind having him around. My wife and I met a few other photographers -- but he was the one that we felt we could be most natural around. He's cool and knows how to get you to look good without forcing high school prom poses.

2) Working with Ector is effortless. He sends you all the information you need in a really organized way. His digital photo archive is extremely easy to use as well. The way he took care of us did not add any stress to our wedding prep.

Weddingwire literally wouldn't let me post the whole review I had written - that's how much I love them. So here's the highlights :)

First, the photography. Their work is the most real, natural expression of love that I have ever seen. They capture what I like to call the “in between moments.” That split second of a glean in the groom’s eye as he sees the bride for the first time, or a dad’s overwhelming love for his daughter shining out of his face during the father/daughter dance. Those moments that are so fleeting, but so pure. Those moments in between all the commotion of that day. To me, THAT is Thirty Three and a Third. And I’m not talking about just a few of these types of pictures in a sea of ordinary wedding shots. That is the majority of what I see in their work.

Now the photographers. Éctor is the only photographer I met with, and I was immediately sold. Not only is he one of the chilliest dudes I’ve ever met, but he has this ease about him that could calm the most bridezilla of brides in front of the camera. Kristina was the second shooter for our wedding day. She is the sweetest ball of radiant energy; I absolutely loved working with her. She made me feel like a beautiful bride and completely at ease, and you can really tell she loves what she does. They make an amazing team. And one of the most beautiful things to me about their photography is that I can’t tell their pictures apart. Their souls were made to photograph love together. They’re not really photographers. They’re artists that are just reflecting back all of the love that they see in this world through their cameras.

If you’re reading this review and contemplating reaching out to them, just hire them already!!! You won’t regret it. I could never imagine having someone else photograph one of the most important days of our lives. I’m lucky that they agreed to be part of my vendor dream team.

We approached Ector with our unconventional idea for our wedding, and he brought a level of enthusiasm and professionalism that made us feel instantly at ease and assured that we had come to the right place to achieve the type of pictures we wanted. And sweet jesus, did he deliver.

As soon as I came across Thirty Three and a Third's website & portfolio of work I was blown away! I was immediately impressed at how their photos have an extremely unique look, yet still classic and timeless pictures that I'd be able to enjoy for years to come. Not only did I find the photos themselves to be beautiful but I also loved that couples featured in each picture looked comfortable and natural.
Ector is easy going but also very professional and thorough in explaining his process. It's difficult for me to get my husband to take casual pictures with an iPhone so I knew planning formal photo shoots would be a challenge. After our 1st meeting we felt 100% at ease and confident about working with Ector.
Our engagement shoot was also our 1st time meeting Kristina. If I had any doubts about being comfortable in front of the camera Kristina would have washed those feelings away! She is the sweetest ball of energy and you can't help but love her as soon as you meet her. We shot in several locations & they knew exactly how to pose us to ensure our photos were perfect. We had a very specific shot we wanted for our save the date and Ector & Kristina spent so much time making sure we had plenty of shots to choose from. I needed to order our save the dates quickly and Ector was able to edit and send us options without hesitation.
The day of the wedding Ector & Kristina were amazing to work with! At times I didn't even notice they were shooting & when I saw specific shots I thought, wow I didn't even realize they were around for that! Taking photos on your wedding day can end up being tiring but Ector and Kristina were great about ensuring we had plenty of photos while also encouraging us to take breaks between shooting so we could enjoy our day.
Our photos are incredible! I am so impressed with their attention to detail. From portraits and family pictures to the amazing photos of our decor, Thirty Three and a Third truly captured the essence of our day!

From day one we knew this pair was more than just your average photographers; my now husband and I arrived at their studio for a small professional shoot, we were a little nervous, Kristina served us a glass of wine so that we could relax and Ector started playing a sick old school hip hop mix on the background. To say the least, from this point on, Ector and Kristina not only became our go-to photographers for EVERYTHING but also great friends. After our first shoot, at the studio, we were impressed with their creativity and passion for photography; we always joked and said we would call them if we were to get engaged. To my surprise, that time came a couple of months after, we were engaged and no one else came to mind but them. I wouldn’t do them justice if I didn’t talk about our engagement shoot. Not sure why, but we decided to shoot on the hottest (it was literally 100 degrees outside) and most humid day (it even rained at some point) of all time in Miami, FL. Ector and Kristina, although it was excruciatingly hot and humid, rolled up their pants and sleeves, continuously wiped their sweat and kept the show going, the result, beautiful engagement photos! If someone asked me to describe them in one sentence, I would say: they always, and I mean always go above and beyond but most of all, they have fun and therefore you also have fun! It wasn’t any different during our wedding day, our families loved them, they went above and beyond to make sure our photos told the full story and we were so happy to know it was them the ones capturing our special day. From day one we knew this pair was more than just your average photographers; my now husband and I arrived at their studio for a small professional shoot, we were a little nervous, Kristina served us a glass of wine so that we could relax and Ector started playing a sick old school hip hop mix on the background. To say the least, from this point on, Ector and Kristina not only became our go-to photographers for EVERYTHING but also great friends. After our first shoot, at the studio, we were impressed with their creativity and passion for photography; we always joked and said we would call them if we were to get engaged. To my surprise, that time came a couple of months after, we were engaged and no one else came to mind but them. I wouldn’t do them justice if I didn’t talk about our engagement shoot. Not sure why, but we decided to shoot on the hottest (it was literally 100 degrees outside) and most humid day (it even rained at some point) of all time in Miami, FL. Ector and Kristina, although it was excruciatingly hot and humid, rolled up their pants and sleeves, continuously wiped their sweat and kept the show going, the result, beautiful engagement photos! If someone asked me to describe them in one sentence, I would say: they always, and I mean always go above and beyond but most of all, they have fun and therefore you also have fun! It wasn’t any different during our wedding day, our families loved them, they went above and beyond to make sure our photos told the full story and we were so happy to know it was them the ones capturing our special day. We are obsessed with Ector and Kristina and their work! My husband is not one for pictures, but they totally made him (and I!) feel at ease. From the beginning, Ector and Kristina were available to talk, bounce ideas off of, and help in any way. Their pictures truly speak for themselves, and we are thrilled with our pictures! They captured small details of our wedding and have such an eye for seeing little parts of our wedding. Absolutely perfect! :)

How do I express how much I loved Thirty Three and a Third Photography?!
As a photographer and artist I was extremely picky about who I chose for our wedding photography. I searched online for weeks! Our first conversation with Ector was a video chat (we lived in Tampa, they are in Orlando) and we felt immediately at ease. We booked the photographer before we booked anything else - a year and a half in advance.
Ector and Kristina drove to Tampa for our engagement shoot at the Tampa Museum, which was amazing! I was really concerned that my husband was going to begrudgingly participate as he normally doesn't enjoy photos but all day afterward he kept saying how much fun he had and how much we like spending time with Ector and Kristina. Photoshoots with them are SO fun!
They were prompt, such troopers (it was really hot at our wedding) and really organized in getting people together and directing us. I can't wait to see all the pictures! (we got a sneak peak)
I also love that they don't hold your photos hostage. We have access to an online album and have the rights to those photos to use as we wish. They have great social marketing and I love following their trips and photoshoots with other couples. Thirty Three and a Third captures real emotion and establishes real relationships with their clients.
I can't express how pleased we are choosing them for such a special day!

Ector & Kristina were the first to congratulate my Fiance and I on our engagement. Little did I know, Joe had contacted them (as a referral from a coworker of his) to come out and sneak some photos of his proposal. After I found out who these people hiding in the bushes snapping photos of us were, they took us all around the park taking more photos of our engagement. We had the best time and they made us feel so comfortable and at ease! We were so excited once we were able to see all of the images they took. We had such a fun time going through them with our family. They are absolutely amazing!

They were absolutely amazing! From beginning to end they were so helpful and flexible to fit our wants, needs, and schedule. The pictures were absolutely stunning. When my wife received the LARGE file of pictures (there was a bunch!) she couldn't help but cry thanks to the wonderful moments that were captured. They were worth every penny and more! This is such a big aspect of your wedding/special event that you will have with you forever. Don't make the mistake of choosing someone else for your photography needs! These guys are the best!

I am absolutely in love with Kristina. She was the most spectacular photographer a girl could ask for. There are many reasons for this, the first being because she saved this bride in a time of total need. My original photographer was unresponsive for a month before my wedding so I was left with no choice other than to look for a replacement. I found Kristina by word of mouth and by the love of God she was available. I booked her THREE days before my wedding. She made me feel completely comfortable and left me with no worries. She was on top of everything from checking out my venues to printing out photo examples I had pinned on Pinterest. She certainly went above the call of duty and everyone loved her. I later found out she had been nominated for a national award, how awesome. If you are in search of a wonderful woman to photograph your special day you do not need to continue your search because this is the photographer for you! You will not be disappointed.

Thirty Three and a Third were GREAT!!. They were professional and accomodating to all the last minute adjustments. Not only were they great with the bride and groom's request, but also any bridal party's requests and it was all done with a smile on their faces. They would look for all the possible ways to capture that perfect moment. I would reccommend them 100%.

Working with Thirty Three and a Third on our wedding day was an absolute pleasure! I would reccomend them to any couples looking for a fun and relaxed day (with some awesome photos to show for it later). They were easy to work with, flexible and accomodating to the family. Kristina Juarbe is the epitome of professionalism! From our initial contact all the way through the delivery of our pictures. She was always very patient with me and all of my questions. She went to our ceremony and reception venues (two separate locations) weeks before our wedding to scope out the location and be prepared on our big day (check on lighting situations, and options for our bride & groom pictures).

On our big day she spent 12 hours with us and never skipped a beat. She was with us while I got ready, on the ride to the ceremony, and stayed through the entire reception! While she spent most of the day with me (of course it’s all about us girls), she still got a bunch of great shots of the guys getting ready at the church and just before the ceremony. At the reception all of my guests loved her! My family was amazed at how wonderful she was and our friends thought we’d been friends forever (she’s that kind of wonderful).

We had our pictures within two weeks as we agreed and an amazing slideshow that we both cried to :). The pictures are outstanding. We wanted a lot of journalistic style shots, but we also wanted the usual portraits and we were very pleased with the results. If you are looking for great pictures, professional service (that is huge for me along with amazing pictures :) ), fast turnaround, and an all-around great experience, Kristina is the way to go :)

I had a rather unique experience with Kristina. My now-husband and I flew from MA to FL to elope in a chapel where photography was included in the package. When we went to the chapel the day before our ceremony, it was ultimately not as described and there was no way we would have gotten married there. We were left with no venue, Reverend, or photographer the day before our wedding day. We had to scramble. I looked online and I found Kristina. I called her and immediately got a phone call back. I told her my situation and she was very understanding and eager to help, going as far as rearranging her schedule to accommodate us. After reviewing her portfolio to see if her style fit ours, I was beyond impressed.

Stress is the last thing a bride needs on her big day. Thanks to Kristina, I had none. She arrived early to scout the premises for locations for photos, was very friendly, and even distracted my five year old daughter long enough for me to get ready! After the ceremony, we took posed photos at the other locations on the grounds that she had seen earlier. Her directions for hand placements and poses were clear, and we trusted her entirely. She put a few photos up on Facebook that same day, which was great as our families were able to get a glimpse of our special day. A few weeks later we received the CD with all of our photos, set up a slideshow, and sat there "oooing" and "ahhhing" over her work.

We made the right choice by contacting Kristina, and I will forever be grateful for the luck we had in finding such a talented professional on short notice. I would recommend Kristina, without reservation, to any couple.

Kristina Juarbe did an awesome job at our wedding!! She arrive early, stayed late, covered our pre-wedding, ceremony and reception all with a huge smile. :) The pictures we saw were better than we expected. She definitely went above and beyond. The wedding went that much smoother thanks to her. Any stress i had before the ceremony was completely relieved with her. We live in Switzerland and got married in Orlando where my husband’s family lives. Finding a local photographer that could capture the love we have for each other and for the natural beauty of our venue was most important to us. After many weeks of searching for a photographer that would fit our style and aesthetic we came across Thirty Three and a Third. Ector’s very unique and intimate pictures, full of emotions and his eye for the unconventional and very colorful backgrounds/settings blew us away. We knew we had to book him right away!

We weren't able to travel to the US before the wedding for an engagement shoot and didn't know how we would do in front of the cameras. But the day of the wedding they made us feel totally comfortable from the first shot. We had Kristina as our second shooter who was just as engaging and professional. They did a great job of keeping it fun and making us feel at ease, we think it shows in the resulting photos. They captured details of our reception location with beauty and precision. It was effortless having them in the middle of the wedding activity, they captured the emotion of each moment moving about like ninjas without disturbing anyone.

We are so happy that we found someone that was so talented and in tune with what we wanted. The photos are truly beautiful and create a wonderful story throughout our special day. Thank you so much again for everything you've done for us! You're the best, thank you!

Every shot was frame worthy!

Héctor was the best! Carefree energy...he worked with us in getting through the uncomfortable/shy moments in front of the camera. Super responsive and completely open to our vision and inspiration shots. I just loved how our photos turned out. Framing ASAP! We'll definitely be working with him again!

Puerto Rico photoshoot

My husband and I wanted to take photos to not only remember our time in Puerto Rico but also to celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary. The photos hector was able to take of us on that day were exactly what I was envisioning! He made the process so simple and fun and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I am in awe of how the final results turned out and they truly will be pictures that will last a lifetime! I can’t say thank you enough to hector and will definitely book again in the future!

Ector shot our same sex wedding and we could not be happier

We are a same-sex couple who could not be happier to have had Éctor as our wedding photographer. His photos of our engagement shoot, wedding ceremony, and reception, are all simply stunning. His photos strike the right balance of being artistic, flattering, and timeless without being over-stylized or unrealistic. How did he manage to capture all of the special moments without interrupting us or making us feel like we were acting/on stage?! Everyone who has seen our wedding photos has told us that they are beautiful! We were also floored by the speed with which Éctor was able to send us our photos after the wedding. Throughout our wedding process, Éctor was professional and carried a positive energy — we not only enjoyed his work, but we also enjoyed spending time with him! Finally, as a same-sex couple, it was important to us that our wedding vendors be LGBT friendly, and Éctor more than fit that bill — he never once made us feel anything other than completely respected and he treated us like any other couple. We highly highly recommend Éctor.

Working with Ector was seriously a pleasure! We fell in love with his photographic style and his entire porfolio of work, after a quick Skype session (we live in Georgia and he was more than happy to accommodate us), we knew Ector was the one! He met us on a a rainy summer afternoon in Savannah for our engagement shoot. He made the hot-steamy-bad hair day of an afternoon into a fun, whimsical, and adventurous time! We ended the evening with beers at a local spot and got to know Ector better and talk more about our wedding! I am hardcore type A and Ector's laid back demeanor and friendly attitude was helpful from the Engagement shoot all the way through to the end of the wedding night! He was a great communicator and willing to work with our budget, and shoot our wedding in Miami! Ector and Kayla were 100% professional and worked with our needs as clients, and still felt like they were a part of the party! After the ceremony and the family photos and before our couple photos we were kind of overwhelmed and just wanted to sit and Kayla ran and got us beers (she was so sweet) and we hung out and talked for just a few minutes which was so nice! We are young, they are young, we felt like friends - not like we were operating a business transaction which every other vendor was so stuffy- not Ector! Their photos are candid, unique, and really capture the essence of the big day. They have a very documentary/editorial style that is modern, but timeless. They made sure to get all of our crazy assortment of family-photo and couple photo needs and still managed to capture photos of college friend's doing the worm and grannies being twirled around on the dance floor. I cannot say enough about the quality and variety of images, the results were simply amazing! Cannot wait to see our video. Great company to work with, our favorite vendor, definitely recommend!

Didnt show up

Hired Hector, but he sent his wife instead. Our pictures were just pictures that werent any kind of wow. Won't display any because they weren't what I would want to show off. Ive always wanted those perfect wedding pictures i could display in my home. So i put the most effort in finding a perfect photographer for our wedding. Months and months before our wedding I spent weeks looking through photographer portfolios because I knew how important a good photographer was. I'm very picky so when I seen Hector's portfolio it all just looked magical and perfect I knew he was who we wanted instantly. Gushed to hector how much I loved his work, ....he was available for our wedding day,... signed a contract and hired him immediately. His fee was high but you can't put a price on perfect photos...fast forward.... day before the wedding (destination wedding) i got an email from his wife saying she was instead coming to shoot our wedding not Hector.....I was at a total loss, like a photographer not coming day before is probably one of the worst things that could happen for your wedding. And we were no where near home, last minute, there was literally nothing I could do. I wasn't about to let this totally ruin my mood for this most special day of our life, but it was devastating. One of the most important vendors for your wedding not showing up. I gushed about hiring this perfect photographer. Anyways...his wife showed up, shot the wedding pictures i got them back they were just pictures unfortunately. Very not flattering, bad angles. It's sad that I don't get that beautiful wedding picture display. I even had to wait to post a review because the whole process has just been devastating. It started bad then I got the pictures and it got worse. I regret my confidence in choosing hector because now I can't go back in time and do it again our wedding is over and this is what we have to remember our day.

We are a husband and wife team - as we state on our website, instagram and everywhere else that our brand is public. Not only did we show up, we brought a second photographer free of charge. You hired 1 photographer for 4 hours and you received 2 photographers plus 600+ beautiful photos. The photos are consistent with the rest of our portfolio which you hired us based upon as we have been photographing weddings side by side for 7+ years.

Art is subjective and I know sometimes we can be our own worst critics. I'm very sad and sorry that you hate your photos.
