Where do I even begin? Rachel was the first ‘vendor’ so to speak I spoke to during my wedding planning process. Right after we spoke I felt so excited, excitement in knowing I just found THE best photographer for my wedding & excitement to officially begin planning. First was our engagement session. Rachel made us feel like a million bucks. She was fun, entergetic & really enjoyable to be around. She made it FUN! We knew the wedding would only be better. Now, at this point I only met Rachel and she was amazing I didn’t know how she could get any better... until we met Bill. Their work relationship meshes so perfectly. My husband, not being a fan of pictures at all, loved Bill. Bill was able to joke & ‘hang’ with the boys, and the pictures of just the guys came out incredible! To have my husband enjoy pictures says something.. the only way they could have been better is if their cute little son was their third worker, but maybe when he’s older! Ha Overall, we have only seen our previews but I am BLOWN away. They are everything we imagined and more. Thank you Rachel & Bill. You were a HUGE part in making our special day so perfect. You guys rock.

Wow. Just wow. Rachel and Bill left my husband and I along with our families completely speechless! You can literally feel the emotions in every single picture! Rachel and Bill made us feel like we were THE most important people in the whole world on our wedding day. They went above and beyond from the second they arrived, to the moment our last guest left the venue. There is nothing Rachel & Bill won't do to capture that perfect moment. Not only are they incredibly passionate about their photography, but they care so deeply for their clients. They are both beyond talented and we are so lucky and grateful to have had them capture our special day. I truly don't feel like anything I could say would even do them the proper justice!! BY FAR the best decision we made in our wedding planning process was choosing Thirteenth Moon Photography. :)

Rachel and Bill are amazing people and their work is a direct reflection of who they are! It came down to luck that they were available for our day and we are so thankful for that. From the very start they were great with communication and were clear with the expectations, this was the biggest relief for me. They would move mountains to assure you feel confident, beautiful and comfortable while taking pictures! Thirteenth Moon Photography blew us away with their work and captured our day better than we could have imagined!

Rachel and Bill are AMAZING! We planned our wedding in Durham from California. Rachel was quick to respond to our inquiries, and we felt like we clicked with her right away talking on the phone.

Rachel and Bill are so easy to talk to, and made us all feel at ease on our wedding day. Thinking back to our ceremony and reception it felt like they were not even there, but when we needed them, there they were!

We love our wedding preview photos!!! We could not be happier with our decision to have Rachel and Bill photograph our wedding!

I LOVE RACHEL AND BILL! Brides, stop your search right here, Thirteenth Moon Photography is the best of the best! They deserve every single award and accolade they have been honored to receive. They are extremely talented, professional and such wonderful people.

From the moment I stumbled upon their website and read over recent reviews, I knew that we HAD to have them be our photographers. I felt so at ease talking with Rachel during our phone consultation. She was so in my brain and knew exactly what I wanted. She is truly one of the nicest, sweetest and best human beings I've had the pleasure of working with (and I say this just from communicating with her through emails and a phone call). I had a very small wedding and had been running into problems with other photographers being uncooperative and dismissing my small wedding as something that wasn't worth their time, but the pure joy and enthusiasm from Rachel and Bill for my small, intimate special day made me feel so loved and cared for.

The day of my wedding, Bill arrived nice and early to start taking photos. He humored me and my husband's quirky and silliness and really let us be ourselves - and we trusted his expert guidance when he putting us in the best poses/shots. He has a great eye and we have absolutely breathtaking photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. I can sing nothing but praises for Rachel and Bill, they are incomparable to any other photographers. I cried happy tears when I got my photo preview from them, seeing how they were able to capture such raw, genuine emotions in the photos brought me back to my wedding day. I can't help but smile looking at my pictures, they're so precious to me.

They are so easy to work with, so easy to communicate with and really put my anxious bridal panic mode brain at ease. I felt like we were working with old friends, who really knew what we wanted and really cared about our day, our happiness and our love.

Bill & Rachel are some of the BEST people we have ever met. From the day we took our engagement photos to the day of the wedding, I was obsessed with them as people and with their work! You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not hire them... They go above and beyond for you and treat you like family. Everyone is in love with our photos and keep telling me how they didn't even notice the photographers because they stayed out of the way. If you could only have 1 vendor for your wedding, they should be the one you choose. You will not regret it!

Rachel and Bill are hands down the best wedding photographers out there! Rachel especially has been so wonderful from the beginning! From the consultation phone call to the wedding and beyond, she shows that she truly cares for her clients (and goes above and beyond (literally) for her clients). What I like about Rachel is that she pays very attention to every little detail and makes the photo sessions fun with her humor! My bridal and engagements were more natural photos and less awkward posed photos. Rachel was also very prompt in responding to all of my e-mails and answering any and all questions or concerns that I had. Her husband Bill is just as great. He also paid attention to the details on our wedding day and helped organize the wedding day schedule. He helped the day of schedule flow all the way to the end and was very flexible to last minute schedule changes as requested by me and my husband.

If you want to book a WONDERFUL photographer for your wedding, I recommend Thirteenth Moon! Check out their work. To be honest, my words don't do justice as to how incredible Rachel and Bill are. Craig and I look forward to using them in the future for family photos. :)

We can't say enough good things about Thirteenth Moon!! Rachel and Bill are truly amazing - From day 1, all the way through to receiving pictures, we've seen nothing but the best! All responses and follow-ups were so quick, our meetings/phone calls were easy to set up and Rachel made them fun and exciting. On the wedding day, Rachel and Bill were phenomenal - They paid full attention to me, the bride, and made sure my day was going smooth and exactly the way I wanted, instead of what everyone else wanted. They worked through the reception with the DJ and our venue coordinator to make sure everything was communicated and understood between everyone so that the whole timeline for the day went smooth. All of our guests had so many great comments about how polite and funny and awesome they were! Everything went PERFECT. And to top it off, I got an email from Thirteenth moon with so many preview photos, while we were still on the honeymoon!! The pictures were better than I ever could have imagined. We are so thrilled with the whole experience and the results and we really cannot have imagined our wedding day without Rachel and Bill. I highly recommend Thirteenth Moon!

What can we say about Thirteenth Moon photography and the awesome duo who helped keep this semi-neurotic/stressed bride and her sweet, but just as stressed groom, calm and at-ease for the entirety of their wedding day coverage?! If you've ever lived through a wedding, you know that one of the most stressful aspects of a wedding day is timing. With Rachel and Bill in communication with each other the entire day, I knew that I didn't have to worry about being behind schedule, or accidently having the groom catch a glimpse before the wedding. I knew that with Rachel and Bill, I didn’t even need to painstakingly check the wedding day timeline and clock every 5 minutes, I knew everything was taken care of, and that was a huge weight off of our shoulders. At your wedding, you only want the people in attendance to be those who are genuinely happy and joyful to celebrate your special day with you, and I feel as if Rachel and Bill fit that description! I knew nothing about them before I booked. I just went off of all of the excellent reviews that I read about this amazing duo. I can honestly say that everything I read about them was so true.

They are amazing people to work with. In addition to being stunning photographers, they are so funny, so nice and easy to work with. They will treat you like family and take care of you from the moment you book. Not to mention the entire day/night of your wedding. Some things happened with my coordination during the wedding and instead of looking the other way and pretending things weren’t going wrong, they both jumped in and became my coordinators in addition to my photographers. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to be there with us on our wedding day.

AMAZING! I can’t say enough about Thirteenth Moon! They were everything you could want in a photography team – from the consultation phone call all the way through the wedding day, and even beyond. I knew I immediately wanted to hire Rachel the minute I first saw the Thirteenth Moon website and got a glance of her pictures. I even thought about switching our wedding date at one point because someone had a soft hold on our date when I first called. Thankfully, that didn’t work out and we booked them!
It was truly like working with friends by the time we got to the wedding day! The engagement session was a ton of fun, and she even got some real smiles out of my husband – which is not an easy thing to do. On the wedding day, we had Rachel and Bill as our photographers for the day. I spent more time with Rachel, and she was there to talk to throughout the day (when I needed calming down) and not just take pictures. They had fun with everyone in our families and bridal parties – making them all laugh, allowing people to joke around rather than be stiff for the “perfect picture”, and most importantly, the pictures didn’t take hours and hours. The bridal party was so excited when they were able to go in and actually have a drink during cocktail hour. We snuck out during the reception to take some sunset pictures, but other than that I didn’t even know they were there throughout the party portion of the night. My coordinator had so many good things to say about them too – that they were so easy to work with and snuck right in where needed to get the perfect shot. I can’t come close to listing all the wonderful things – communication was easy and fast, flexibility, fun, great attitude, easy to work with, and oh yeah, the pictures are awesome! We have gotten our preview and love every single picture in there, and can’t wait to get all of the pictures back! Even from the preview, I can tell, the team did a great job capturing the little moments that make the day so special!

When I first started reading the reviews for Thirteenth Moon Photography I almost immediately stopped and looked up their availability for my wedding date. I could tell by the reviews and sample photos that they were going to be my choice if they were available. I got an email response almost immediately (and that was going to be the trend until the wedding), and we set up an hour phone conversation to talk about the details of the wedding, many of which are things we hadn’t thought of. Rachel sent us a super informative digital packet of info and the attention to detail and making sure we knew she cared about us as a couple sealed the deal. With Rachel and Bill you don’t feel like you are hiring a photographer, you feel like you are inviting a friend to the wedding (who happens to also be an amazing photographer). During the wedding both Rachel and Bill made us feel super comfortable in situations we had never been in, and the preview pictures we received in less than 10 days are definitely going on our wall. Overall we are super pleased that we chose Thirteenth Moon, and we would highly recommend them.

These are the only photographers you need. Rachel and Bill are a team that put their entire heart into their work and it shows. I knew from our engagement shoot together that they love what they're doing, and they have taken the time to perfect their craft. On my wedding day, they were completely dedicated into ensuring that I got every shot I wanted, and I mean every shot. They worked magic. With my sparkler photos in downtown Charlotte, we had at least 150+ random strangers popping in my photos, full dressed security eyeing us like hawks to make sure we were out venue lines, and Bill had to be a door holder while convincing the security to let us do it. The end result from that? Absolute breathtaking, stunning photos. They are professional, diligent, timely, responsive, completely easy to work with, and about their business. It goes even beyond picture taking. I felt loved by them, and knew I would be taken care of no matter what. Rachel makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. I had a natural glow in all of my shots and that didn't just come from me being happy, but also from Rachel and Bill both capturing these moments, unforced. They will never, ever force a picture (because believe me, they hate those shots) and you'll remember each shot they take as a precious, in the moment memory. Even the snapshots I received only a few days after the wedding filled me with so much emotion I wanted to cry. I love them more than just vendors. I don't even have the words to tell them thank you the way I want to. I promise you will leave from working with them feeling filled and like you've gained family.

I was so incredibly impressed with Rachel and Bill from the first consultation to discuss our wedding! They were very responsive and easy to work with, it felt more like working with a good friend, someone that truly cared about helping make our special day perfect! They did a phenomenal job capturing every moment and memory of our wedding day! Rachel is AMAZING. She was so kind and funny, and after our first phone call I knew she had to be our photographer. While I was planning, someone told me "Your photographer needs to be your best friend throughout the process" and Rachel definitely fulfilled that expectation. She always responded quickly and eased my stress and nerves about everything! Our engagement session was a blast and the wedding was no different. And the photos! Oh my gosh the photos! From my very first meeting over the phone with Rachel, I knew without a doubt that Thirteenth Moon Photography was who I wanted to photograph my wedding. With over a year to plan after booking, I was able to easily keep in contact with Rachel at all times, which was an extreme blessing and so convenient! She was able to give ideas and answer all of the quirky questions I threw at her. We were so lucky to be able to have both Rachel and January to photograph our wedding. When we started looking for a photographer for our wedding, my husband and I really wanted to make sure we "clicked" with whoever was going to take our photos and understand what was important to us (candid photos). I searched on weddingwire for local NC photographers and thumbed through reviews. Rachel was the ONLY person we met with. It was clear after our sit down with her that her energy and mine would mesh well together. I appreciated her organization and responsiveness. We also felt their pricing was very fair and economical. We didn't originally plan to do engagement photos, but Rachel let us add them on after our initial contract. She made the "weirdness" that is having engagement photos taken fun and enjoyable. We were very happy with the quality of the engagement photos and used them on our Save the Dates. Rachel was great at responding to all of my wedding photo question texts! Come wedding day, Rachel and January ran the show. I was glad that they had previously been to our venue, as well as worked with all of our other vendors. Rachel and January made sure I was okay the whole day, and explained everything as they went. She was also great at telling when I had had enough (just by giving her a look!). We have received the preview photos, and are in love with them. We are very excited to see how the rest of the photos turned out!

After hours and hours of researching so many wedding photographers online, I stumbled across Thirteenth Moon Photography and was immediately hooked on their beautiful photographs! Rachel made the entire process so easy for us every step along the way. From our initial phone consult, to our "wedding homework," to capturing our big day, to our photo preview, it is apparent how much Thirteenth Moon cares not only about their clients, but also about the quality of their photography services. Rachel and January were both so wonderful to work with on our wedding day, and captured so many truly amazing and beautiful photographs. As our wedding was very shortly before Thanksgiving, I was shocked to find our photo preview in my inbox on Thanksgiving day (and with so many photos included!). It was clear that Rachel had worked so hard to get us so many wonderful family photos in time for us to share for the holidays. I can't possibly say anything about Thirteenth Moon Photography that will encompass what an incredible impact that their team made on our wedding day. Rachel and her crew had the perfect level of professionalism; just relaxed enough to make us completely ourselves on the weightiest day of our lives, and experienced enough to keep us on schedule and snap INCREDIBLE shots. They were silly, fun, serious, and completely tuned into make our day absolutely amazing. Rachel's approach to our wedding photography brought out the best in us, especially with the couples photographs immediately after the ceremony - you know the ones. Her team made the day feel light, kept us in the moment, captured the most amazing photographs that we will cherish for the rest of our lives, and firmly secured a place in our new family. Rachel and January were so amazing to work with. They were very responsive leading up to the wedding and even though we did not meet them before our big day, they made us feel comfortable right from the second we met them. They got right to work, were extremely efficient, and the pictures we have seen so far are GORGEOUS. I love them all! I am so happy we were able to book them for our wedding. There is a good reason they book up quickly so get on their calendar early!

I would definitely recommend Thirteenth Moon to anyone looking for a photographer. I had talked to two different photographers before easily deciding to hire Thirteenth Moon to complete our engagement photos and then our wedding photos. I was a little nervous, because usually my now husband and I don't take very good pictures together and usually don't enjoy picutre taking. I was also nervous because the price was a little higher than the other photographer I was debating on using. However, after laughing and making jokes throughout our entire engagement photo session I was very confident I had made the right choice! The session was painless and the pictures turned out great!
On our wedding day about a month ago, they were more than flexible for us. Due to a street closure in front of the bridal suite location and the reception location some adjustments had to be made, but it all turned out absolutely stress-free thanks to Rachel and January. The day was perfect from getting ready through the bows and straight into the bouquet toss. They helped juggle the timeline, keep the DJ straight, and capture all of the little moments. I didn't even notice they were there! It may seem like they "LOVE" all of their clients and that that can't be true, but with them it really is. They truly love what they do and who they are doing it for. Our wedding day preview pictures are absolutely gorgeous and I cannot wait to see them in action again as a MOH at a friends wedding next year!

Rachel and January did a fantastic job for us. From beginning to end, Rachel kept us organized and on track to ensure every detail came out just the way we wanted. She gave us ideas (bubbles for chapel exit, timeline strategy) and helped us to relax, ensuring us that they would make sure we wouldn’t see each other before the ceremony (this was important to us). We appreciated her enthusiasm and ability to keep everyone moving in the right direction (we had a tight timeline!). She did a great job in getting our little nephews to focus on the camera (and smile!) and captured so many moments we will enjoy remembering forever.

Both Rachel and January blended in well with our family and friends and we were impressed with how they worked together to get the best shots. Our pictures came out AMAZING and we have been so proud to share them with everyone. The blog post created by Thirteenth Moon was perfect for sending out to family, friends, and coworkers. It was up on their website before we knew it and helped to show those that couldn’t be with us how much our wedding meant to us and what a great time was had by all.

We have gone back and looked at our photos over and over and over again. It was truly our special day and we are grateful to have had Rachel and January there with us to capture each moment. Thirteenth Moon did an excellent job and we can’t thank them enough!!

Rachel and January from Thirteenth Moon were phenomenal to work with! From our first phone call, to planning, to the day of and after--my new husband and I are so happy with everything they have done to capture our special day. If small details and little moments are important to you, this team has you covered! Just from the preview they posted on their blog, I've been able to go back and revisit our wedding day from start to finish, and I'm moved by these photos every time. Besides the photos you'd expect from wedding photographers, they captured sweet romantic moments among our guests, silly goofy moments from my family, and so much more that I don't remember even asking for! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Rachel for an engagement shoot and Rachel and January on our wedding day. From the day we contacted Rachel until weeks after our wedding, Rachel was available to answer any questions and help us out in any way she could. She got to know us before our engagement shoot to understand what we wanted and she delivered a product much better than we could have imagined. My husband and I do not like to take photos, but Rachel has a way of loosing you up and making you feel comfortable while she is shooting. She had us laughing and having fun the entire time she was shooting! We are thrilled with the end result and the amount of support we got from Rachel along the way. Rachel and January are true gems! If you are looking for a wedding photographer, LOOK NO FURTHER. Working with Thirteenth Moon was the easiest and best decision of our entire wedding experience! They are such a great value for absolutely stunning work!! You never feel alone in the process. Their pre-wedding "homework" helped me evaluate what I was looking for in my photos and prepared me mentally for the big day. You feel confident in relying on this team of professionals to guide you.

From our first phone call, I knew immediately that Rachel was the photographer for us. She has that hilarious and upbeat personality that you need on the most hectic day of your life. Just an all-around amazing person! She was as excited for our Biltmore wedding as we were--she even helped us pray for sunny weather!!

As it would go, the wedding day started in chaos and I arrived much later than scheduled. Rachel greeted me with a big hug and reminded me that by the end of this crazy day, I'd be married to my sweetheart. As the lone photographer, she directed our wild families with ease to make the best use of her time and get all of the shots. She captured our outdoor ceremony perfectly and spent HOURS hiking through the gardens (with all of her equipment in tow on April's hottest day) to get our dream photos. AND BOY DID SHE! She even stayed late for some final shots as the sun set over the Estate. (My favorites from the day!) She has a great artistic eye; each photo is art. Her work exceeded my wildest dreams. We fell in love with Rachel right from the start. She made the engagement session at the farm so much fun for everyone. Alyssa, Luke and both Mommas! She asked lots of questions about Alyssa and Luke and really got to know them on a personal level. This is a nice touch and an asset for her knowing what they would like to see in a photo. Her humor, creativity and willingness to try just about anything won us over. On wedding day, she and January made an awesome team. They arrived ready to go and got right to work making the bridal party and groomsmen feel at ease with being photographed. (Not an easy task!) They were everywhere before, during and after the ceremony. . .but at the same time, not in the way, allowing them to capture some absolutely fabulous shots. Rachel's willingness to go out in a field up close with nature in order to get the shot that she visualized showed us how devoted she is to her couples. She kept everything moving perfectly throughout the afternoon and evening all the way to the lavender toss when the newlyweds made their getaway. You can feel right at ease when you secure Thirteenth Moon Photography. From initial phone conversation to follow up after the wedding Rachel is very organized, pays attention to details and follows through. I am so glad Alyssa found Thirteenth Moon, we enjoyed the day without worry about taking any photos ourselves. We made the right decision and definitely recommend this team of professionals!

Working with Thirteenth Moon was such a wonderful experience! Rachel did an excellent job with all of our photography needs (engagement and wedding photos) as well as keeping up with communication throughout the entire process. Where do we start? We have nothing but awesome, wonderful things to say about Rachel, Bill, and January. We first met Bill and Rachel 3 1/2 years ago when my husband contacted them to do a surprise proposal in Disney. We instantly clicked and they became part of our family. We knew we wanted to have them as our photographers. Lucky for us, they relocated to NC and we booked them 15 months in advance to make sure they would be with us on our wedding day. We flew to NC for our engagement pictures and it didn't seem like 3 years had gone by. We loved spending time with them and they made our engagement session a breeze. We met January on our wedding day and she was so awesome to work with. She's like another Rachel! We definitely had a great time on our wedding day and we joked the whole entire time and laughed the whole day! They are very easy to work with, very responsive, and willing to work with you to create the perfect pictures on your wedding day. We cannot say enough nice things about them and we are very blessed to have them in our life! From proposal, to engagement, and now our wedding - they have become part of our family! I would highly recommend Thirteenth Moon Photography! Rachel is very responsive throughout the whole process and even came on a walk through of the venue prior to the date of the wedding and helped me with picking out some of the colors to make sure I got the best pictures which I definitely did!!
She has tons of experience and knows what she is talking about and will always steer you the right way.
On the day of the wedding she was 100% on time and brought her co worker January who was also amazing. It was a LONG day and they worked basically non stop, I'm not even sure when they took their break!
She definitely made us feel comfortable. Neither me or my husband are very good at taking pictures but she really helped us loosen up and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of our pictures. Our preview pictures were awesome and only took a week! And the final product is a TON of pictures that are all beautiful.
As everyone says the wedding goes by so fast, it's really important to have someone that knows what they are doing capture your day to the fullest.
And to be honest their prices are pretty comparable to those on the market, you are definitely getting a great quality product and top notch service for a fair price point. I think they might already be booked up for all of 2016 for weddings...we feel VERY lucky to have been able to book and work with them for our wedding!

Rachel was the photographer for my wedding and she was amazing!! She was super friendly, extremely professional, and just plain awesome to work with. She was fun and had a great sense of humor that eased my nervousness. It was as if an old friend was taking pictures rather than someone I had just met for the first time. She was full of great suggestions for fun/creative poses for our bride/groom pictures. The preview pictures she provided a week or so after the wedding were stunning - way better than I could have imagined. When I first spoke with Rachel, I felt as if I had known her for years. She is outgoing, kind, animated and hilarious! We hit it off right away, and I knew I had found someone that I could put complete faith in, and with whom I could be truly be comfortable on our big day. When we met Rachel at our engagement session for the first time, she was even more of a pleasure in person. She's professional, thoughtful, and besides being incredibly talented and having a great eye, she really cares about the details and how the photos will turn out. Needless to say, our engagement photos were beyond marvelous. Fast-forward to our wedding day: Rachel was on-time and down to business immediately. Despite some time issues that were beyond our control, she made sure she was utilizing her time and catching photos of precious moments. She did a great job at managing our unruly wedding party, family and guests, and once we were at the reception, she was everywhere all at once, it seemed. She captured everything, and I could not have asked for anything more. I am so pleased with Rachel and Thirteenth Moon's work, and let me just say that our wedding photos are STUNNING. HOLY COW!!! I loved Thirteenth Moon! They seriously are the greatest people on this planet. We did our engagement pictures with Rachel and she has an amazing personality that makes you immediately feel like her best friend and that you have known her for years. We had a blast with her and she made us feel super comfortable. On our wedding day, we had her husband Bill and Jessica and boy were they awesome. I don't even know where to start about my experience with Thirteenth Moon Photography. Rachel and Bill are not only extremely talented photographers, but they are also genuinely wonderful people! They photographed our engagement and wedding photos, delivering absolutely stunning photos each time.

Wow!!! We can't say thank you enough to Rachel and Thirteenth Moon Photography for what an amazing job they did capturing our Forever And Ever Day! My husband and I both have to say how taken back we are by the creativity and quality of work they did! It was beyond our expectations (which were high after seeing the engagement photos).

My husband and I are both very awkward with photos and usually hate taking them. Rachel did a great job helping us to feel more comfortable by making us laugh and guided us in poses. The photos turned out fantastic!

As for the wedding, I could not have asked for a more professional and efficient person to work with! We only had a little amount of time between the ceremony and reception to get all the family, bridal party, and creativity shots in but she rocked it! She made it work for us and it was obvious it wasn't her first rodeo!

When we got our sneak peek my husband was so excited about the pictures, he went to Costco and go the biggest canvas print for our living room!! And one for my parents! All our friends and family are still talking about the wedding and photos!

We are so grateful for Rachel and TMP for being a part of our fiasco/wedding!

The only thing I regret about my services with them is not reserving more time for bride and groom shots.

We had the pleasure of having Rachel and Ashley on our wedding day team in Orlando. Not only were they accommodating (traveling to Orlando after their move), but they were super fun to work with! Thirteenth Moon Photography is a husband and wife team that I wish everyone had the opportunity to work with!! They are so absolutely amazing!! I was so excited to work with Bill and Rachel for my wedding! Just through the emails and the phone consultation (I was unable to make it in person so she worked with me!) I was in love!! I was actually in the car with my future hubby when I spoke to Rachel for the 1st time and when I get off of the phone (about 45min-hour later to work out details and expectations), my guy asks "were you talking to the photographer?? Or your best friend??" She makes you that comfortable!! She even helped me by recommending vendors and I asked for Rachel's opinion on several occasions since she's been to a few weddings ;) and she was always so quick to respond to emails. I was lucky enough to do 2 photo shoots with her before the day of my wedding and I can honestly say that I cannot pick out a favorite moment or even a favorite picture!! On the day of our outdoor, lakeside wedding, I had a nice drizzly morning and a cloudy evening ceremony. As I am having my hair and make up finished by an amazing team that Rachel recommended (she will not steer you wrong!!) she walks in and I pout and tell her it's cloudy. Her response? "I was hoping for no sun! This cloudiness makes for FANTASTIC photos!" Whether or not she felt it was true, she made me feel better and sure enough, AMAZING photos! My friends and family still tell us we looked like movie stars! I told my now husband :) that I want to do every photo shoot in the future with her! Then they say they are moving to North Carolina...no problem. I like traveling! And North Carolina is a gorgeous back drop for photos! I would follow her anywhere because I know I will get fantastic photos and have a great time!! You will not regret using them to capture your special day!!

Aside from the man, the photography was the most important thing to me on my wedding day. When I stumbled upon Rachel & Bill I looked no further! They are amazing, from their witty personalities to their creativity to their sincerity about their job, they were awesome to work with! They brought our vision to life through pictures that will help us remember our wedding forever. They were super flexible when we had to change our wedding date due to an unexpected pregnancy, they made it stress free. Thirteenth Moon is THE BEST!! My husband and I (and all family included) still feel truly blessed to have found them, they will make your wedding day look incredible- and are such a joy to work with! Our entire bridal party and family felt so at ease and had such a wonderful time all day with Thirteenth Moon. I was so impressed the first time I met them at their new studio/office in Mount Dora, and both Bill & Rachel are such a delight to talk with- you feel like you've known them forever. They are excellent with sending materials and keeping in touch before your big day, I always felt from day one of meeting them that I was in the very best of hands. I loved their photo-request/preferences sheet that you fill out right before your big day...it really helped my husband and I figure out other timeline logistics for our day-of schedule, all thanks to them for being so thorough ahead of time. We chose to do first look photos, and it was PERFECT! We were expecting beautiful work, but when we finally saw our pictures we were BLOWN AWAY! They are absolutely beautiful! Everything your "pinterest" heart dreams of -AND MORE! Ladies, you know what I'm talking about. They were very helpful with special request shots, and possible unpredictable weather on our wedding day (Rachel kept telling me, "It's not going to rain!"...and she was right! It didn't! Rachel was absolutely fantastic to work with! A++, 110%, grand slam, super bowl winner type awesome! She was fun, energetic, easy-going and a pleasure to work with, all the while being professional and generating amazing photos for our engagement shoot and wedding day! She made us feel as though she was just as excited as we were to be shooting our big day. If you are looking for a personal interaction and someone you can feel comfortable with from the beginning, Rachel and Thirteenth Moon are the way to go! Initial Contact: Rachel is incredibly professional and responsive! We have been in contact and despite her busy schedule. She has responded to my questions and needs in a very timely fashion. Her work is incredible and I cannot wait to see the wonderful pictures she creates!

Update: My wedding was this past September 19, 2015, and I can honestly say I am blown away by Rachel's work, professionalism, and get-er-done mentality. We met in person at the ceremony venue in June 2015. Rachel recommended the rooms with the best lighting, where she would situate herself to honor church traditions, and conversed with the ceremony venue coordinator to ensure everything went off without a hitch. Rachel had us complete "homework" so she would have a good idea as to our vision and aesthetic for the wedding. Working with her throughout the process was a breeze!

The Big Day: Rachel was on it! She wrangled the wedding party and family members for the formal photos. She did the impossible and got our flower girl and ring bearer to sit still long enough to capture a great photo! She was organized, timely, and maintained an upbeat attitude and demeanor. The DJ mixed up the itinerary (I had spent hours creating) and announced the cake cutting about an hour early. I quickly gave Rachel an update, and with ease, she prepared her equipment. Our sparkler send off got moved up as well, and again, Rachel was right there. She didn't miss a beat!

Wedding Photo Previews: The photos Rachel sent us a few days after the wedding literally took my breath away. I will get hundreds later; however, the handful she selected told such a beautiful, enchanted story. The quality of her work is unparalleled. I cannot stop showing these pictures to family and friends. This is truly money well spent. Engaged couples: Please spend the extra money (find it in your couch if you have to) to book Rachel. You will not regret it. I cannot wait to get the rest of the photos!

So far we have only seen a preview of our photos...but WOW! Those previews make it clear that we chose the most talented photographers! The images are incredible. My husband and I had a pretty rough go with our first attempt at a photographer for our wedding. However, in hind-sight, it was well worth the frustration! We would have never come across Thirteenth Moon if it hadn’t been for our first photographer debacle!

I simply cannot put into words how absolutely incredible Thirteenth Moon’s work really is – I mean the photos really do speak for themselves. Yet, it’s so much more than our gorgeous wedding photos! Getting to know the tag-team duo that is Thirteenth Moon was equally as wonderful as seeing our pictures for the first time. The first time we met with them, it was like something out of a dream! My husband and I just couldn’t stop talking about how great they were on our drive home!

Bill and Rachael made taking pictures fun. We chose them through a referral from Royal Crest as well as looking at their pictures on their website. They were very fun to work with and in the end we got a ton of fantastic pictures! It was worth the cost to end up with great pictures which will last a lifetime. We are very pleased with the service and value we received from Thirteenth Moon. Not to mention that Rachael was pregnant and gave birth soon after our wedding, but still delivered quality pictures. 5 stars just aren't enough to rate Thirteenth Moon Photography! Bill and Rachel are absolutely AMAZING at what they do! We actually found our wedding venue because of their beautiful work! A friend of mine recommended them to me so I viewed their website and immediately contacted them to meet up and discuss our wedding day. Before we even met them we knew we were going to hire them for our wedding photographers and when we walked into Starbucks for our initial consultation, it was confirmed to us they were the photographers for us! Bill and Rachel treat you like you have been friends forever and make you completely comfortable and at ease which is a huge plus when you will be working with them throughout your whole wedding day. We hired them for their "west package" because we wanted our entire day documented. At our engagement photo shoot, it was Rachel's birthday and they took the time out of her special day to shoot our session and on top of that, Bill had a freak nose bleed attack. We were willing to cancel our shoot, but they insisted on continuing with the session and went on like everything was normal and gave us beautiful engagement pictures! Their professionalism goes above and beyond!!
On our wedding day, Bill and Rachel were at our venue even before we arrived. Rachel stayed with myself and the girls, and Bill stayed with my then soon to be husband and the guys during the getting ready time. Rachel not only took pictures during that time, but she also helped in getting me ready. They go above and beyond what they are hired to do. Even Bill helped my girls bustle my gown, after the ceremony, because they were having a difficult time finding all the loops and buttons. Bill stepped in and got the job done. Stop looking and BOOK THEM!! You will NOT regret it! They are worth every penny!! My husband and I look at our pictures all the time and are so thankful we hired them! They will not only be our photographers for life, but friends as well!!

"Pictures were the most important aspect of our wedding, and after viewing the preview pictures on their blog, I cannot WAIT to see the final prints. Every penny spent was well worth it; Rachel and Ashley did our pictures the day of and were incredibly fun and professional. They had a great eye for getting the best out of every shot, and it's really very admirable because our venue wasn't great for pictures being dim inside, and rainy outside. When booking, they have a super helpful comprehensive list of things they need to know to make sure things run seamlessly and it worked. The day of, everyone kept commenting on how quickly and efficiently the pictures were being taken. We are so happy that we chose Thirteenth Moon, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing photographers for events."

We can't recommend Thirteenth Moon high enough to anyone who is looking for wedding photography in the Orlando area. Bill and Ashley took some amazing photos and did an incredible job with the digital editing. Even though it rained at times during the shoot, Thirteenth Moon saved the day shooting at some great locations inside Fulton's Crab House making the pictures better than we could have imagined. Bill went above and beyond getting umbrellas making sure the brides hair , makeup and dress still looked perfect as we were caught in the rain. Rachel was very easy to deal with going over what type of photos we wanted via email and on the phone. We had such a great time working with Bill and Ashley our wedding day and everyone loved the photos they took.

LISTEN! Please stop and do the absolute best thing you can for your wedding (other than showing up of course) and book Bill and Rachel NOW! No, not now, yesterday. Honestly, do you not see that every single one of their ratings is five stars? I knew I was booking them even before our first meeting because I literally drooled for hours just looking at their website photos. They have the gift of making YOUR wedding photos look like they belong on the cover of a magazine for crying out loud. They made the entire process so easy I thought I had to be missing something, WRONG! It really is just that easy with them. Honestly, these two are the absolute best in the business and worth every penny if not more. I loved every minute I got to spend with these two and I will be recommending their services to anyone who will listen. Bill and Rachel were able to capture moments and details I never thought possible at our wedding and for that I am forever grateful. Thirteenth Moon Photography is AMAZING! My wedding was about three weeks ago so I haven't seen all of the photos yet, but just the preview is to die for. They are super professional but also very personable. They helped keep me calm when things started to get a little crazy. Their pricing is afordable and worth every penny. I shopped around and met with quite a few photographers before choosing. After my meeting with them I knew they were the ones. Feeling comfortable in front of the camera is very important when it comes to getting good photos and I can say honestly that taking the shots of just me and my husband is one of the most fun and best memories I have of my wedding. Bill and Rachel are the best! I know they will be around for a long time and are already super successful:)

Rachel and Bill are AMAZING! I could not have asked for a better pair to photograph my wedding and engagement photos. They did such a wonderful job. Over the moon about Thirteenth Moon!
Bill and Rachel were the epitome of professional from day 1 of our experience with them. Timely, knowledgeable, passionate, caring, friendly; the list of positive attributes about this amazing team is endless. They ensured to get to know us, and our wedding needs right out of the gate. They are so creative and talented you will be literally blown away with the amazing shots they come up with. Our path has always been directed by God, and meeting Bill and Rachel was no exception. They not only worked SO hard to get amazing shots of us during our wedding, but they also made sure we were running on schedule for everything! We had some hiccups with our on site coordinator, and they handled the situation with grace and professionalism. Words cannot describe how much we LOVE Thirteenth Moon Photography!!! We loved their pictures and chose them not just because of their outstanding work, but also because of the positive vibe I got from talking to them via email. I knew I'd made the right decision when Rachel asked to Skype call, to go into more depth about what I wanted. She listened to me, put me in the driver's seat and she was so happy, bubbly and excited that I just loved it :)

They were friendly, genuinely happy for us, smiley and professional the whole time. Bill and Rachel were so great to work with, they got to my hotel room early, kept calm (especially when things went wrong), they made an extremely useful plan that they stuck to, but tweaked effortlessly when needed. They helped out with organizing other people, telling me what would happen, sticking to scheduled times and what I'd asked for. They were always asking me what I wanted and were honest if they thought a shot wouldn't work.

Bill and Rachel are AWESOME and we just had so much fun! We are THRILLED with all of the pictures they took (almost 500 pictures in 4 hours) and highly recommend them. You won't regret it! Thank you both so much!!!!

Where to start? Our experience with Rachel and Bill was amazing! And, I wish I could get married all over again just to have an excuse for them to take pictures of us. It was such an incredible blessing to share this journey with them. Not only are they talented - they're a pleasure to work with and made both of our photo sessions engagement and the big day a blast! When selecting vendors, it's important to have peace of mind that they'll deliver. You have nothing to worry about with Thirteenth Moon Photography. They're extremely professional, and one of the small things (but probably not an easy task on their end) that I loved is the selection of preview photos they post shortly after your session. It's just enough to hold you over until you receive all of the photos. Words can not express how blown away we were by the photos when we came back from our honeymoon. Despite weather challenges, Rachel and Bill were able to capture such sweet moments that I will cherish for a lifetime. I can't thank them enough! One of the best choices I made.

I knew we were hiring Bill and Rachel before we even met them. From our first meeting, to our engagement photo session, to our wedding day, they completely exceeded our expectations. So it seems that we'll be adding another five star review to this amazing vendor's page. Bill and Rachel are absolutely the best one can ask for in wedding photography. Years ago I worked as an assistant for another top Orlando area photographer and let me tell you, Bill and Rachel easily exceed the level or service, care, creativity, and value that his clients received. It starts with the day you meet them, for us a bridal show about a year before our wedding. Right away you'll be able to tell how professional and personable they are as they show you different examples of their work on iPads and have a mini-consultation with you about what your needs will be. Next they schedule a sit down meeting where you have their total attention and go over the details of your wedding and what and how they will do their work. Don't worry if you have none of that figured out yet, because if you book them, they are so great and flexible and you will have the most important detail of how to capture and remember your day done. Then depending on your package, you do an engagement shoot and our pictures were EPIC!!!! We used them on our wedding website and invites and they really set the theme for our special day, I cannot say enough about their engagement shoots. Then finally your wedding will come and they will arrive early, take tons of pictures of you, your guests, your setup, etc, and you will get a preview a few days later which will blow your mind with how stunning the photos will be. There is so much more to say but I'll end by saying Bill and Rachel are the most talented, caring, and personable wedding photographers in Orlando. You get so much value for the price and really having both of them there is so great as well (double coverage for the price of one). At the same bridal show where we met them, the other photographers we visited wanted 2-3 times as much money for less time, less photos, no engagement shoot, an "associate" photographer, and no personality.

Rachel and Bill are AMAZING! We were truly blessed to have them capture our wedding day and also to have gained two awesome friends. On our big day, Rachel and Bill were not only helpful with the photography piece but the overall flow of the day and coordination. We had some small hiccups in our day and the two of them were at our sides asking how they could help…and the hiccups had nothing to do with the photos! Between them offering my maid of honor advice on lacing up my dress, keeping the bridal party on track, finding out what was going on with our catering staff, and helping me sew my necklace back together (yes you read that right) among other things we would have been lost without them. We should probably also mention how great their photography is! The two of them are naturals at catching intimate moments of the day as well as the natural light and environment that surrounds each moment. At one point, Rachel was practically laying in a flower bed to capture a unique shot that most people would over look. When we view the photos of our first dance, it’s like we are back in that very moment thanks to their ability to capture each cherished step. Their professionalism and kindness did not end with the wedding day, Rachel and Bill created our “Thank You” cards while they were on vacation! That isn’t something most individuals would do. Rachel and Bill take pride in their work and genuinely care about each of the couples they work with. We would recommend Thirteenth Moon to anyone and have already thought about hiring them for our future life events!

Rachel and bill are the most amazing photographers but what really sets them apart from the rest is that they take a true investment in getting to know their clients on a personal level. They are so incredibly talented and truly fall in love with each couples love story. It's amazing how they show the personality of the couple and love between them in their pictures. Their eye for this is something that cannot be taught. I knew from the moment meeting with them that they had to be apart of my wedding. They were always a great support system and so incredibly responsive to any question or issue I had- whether it was related to photography or not. I personally had major issues with my original venue and wedding dress but Rachel and bill never hesitated to help in any way possible. They are not only amazing people but truly incredibly talented photographers. I feel as though I have found my photographers I will continue to use for all future life events! Look no further, these are your photographers! Rachel and Bill were absolutely phenomenal. From their creativeness in every shot to their amazing personalities, they get an A+ from us! Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they were right there anytime I needed them (from holding my drink to catching me at the bottom of the stairs!). Every couple is hesitant at first when booking their photographers (you want every moment of your special day caught on camera), but with Rachel and Bill you will see that all of that worrying was for nothing! You will get amazing shots, and lots of laughter.

Thank you Rachel and Bill for being there for us on our wedding day <3

Bill and Rachel are AMAZING!!! I can't express enough how thankful we are that we hired them for our wedding! Not only are the photographs BEAUTIFUL, they were professional, fun, flexible, and captured our wedding in a way that I know no one else could!
From the very start, we knew we wanted Thirteenth Moon to be our photographers. Their samples were gorgeous, and they were priced lower than 90% of the other photographers we researched. Photographers with similar pricing were not as good, and photographers that were just as good quality wise had inflated, overblown pricing that included "packages" with services and items we did not want or need.
We met with them at a Panera and immediately were impressed with how professional they were and how relaxed they made us feel. They love to kid around and are fun, easy going people by nature. This was important to us, as we wanted people that we felt comfortable with, and they made us feel immediately comfortable!
After meeting with them, we decided to up our photography budget, and are we glad we did! They stayed at our wedding until well after the cake cutting, and captured some of the most hilarious moments on the dance floor! They were completely unobtrusive, and most of the time we completely forgot they were there.
My mother even remarked that there was only one time at the very beginning of the ceremony that she noticed them, and then they "disappeared" (her words exactly!). The formal pictures after the ceremony went quickly and were a lot of fun, and they directed our party of unruly groomsmen and bridesmaids quickly while making it fun.
After the wedding, they posted a sneak preview of our photos the next day, and we couldn't believe how beautiful and polished they looked! They made us look like movie stars, and I was thrilled! We ordered the wedding book, and we can't wait to see the rest of the pictures and pick out the ones that will go in the book!

Jay and I had a private ceremony on siesta key beach, and Rachel and bill were not only our photographers, but they pretty much were our wedding organizers, witnesses, best man, and maid of honor! Not only were they all of those, they also treated our dog, Beemer,like he was their very own, and helped out as much as they could with Beemer also!! We don't know what we would have done without them!!! They are BOTH so talented, but also fun, exciting, and so thoughtful! They deserve way more than a 5 star rating, but more like a million or more stars!!! Just loved them being part of our day!!

WOW!! AMAZING!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!….. This is the reaction I received from friends and family. They said the entire wedding was beautiful, but they could not believe how thirteenth-moon was able to capture that and more. My sister-in-law said she can not stop looking at their pictures online, she looks daily.
Not only does thirteenth-moon shoot and edit flawless photos, they are a joy to be around. At the beginning when we first had our engagement photos taken, we were a little worried because we knew our faces would hurt from “Fake” smiling and feeling awkward with weird unknown people taking our pictures. I am pleased to say it was the exact opposite. Bill and Rachel instantly made us feel like we had been friends for years. We were doing tons of talking and laughing, so no need for fake smilies here.
On the wedding day Bill and Rachel arrived a little early and ready for showtime. When it was go time for the ceremony to start I feel like Bill and Rachel put on invisible jackets or something, because I do not remember SEEING them- yet I have amazing up close photos they took so I know they were there somewhere. Once the ceremony was over we instantly got to work on all the formal photos. Bill and Rachel were very organized and that went VERY quickly. Afterwards was when the real magic happened, we rushed to different “must have” photo shots- and these photos are the ones I love the most. The sunset was beautiful and thirteenth-moon captured all of it.
When the reception started Bill and Rachel put on their wonderful invisible jackets and went to work. They were there for everything yet, not seen. I do kinda wonder how they did this because it seems like it would be hard to miss two people walking around with cameras.
I truly feel like thirteenth-moon did an outstanding job with everything! I am fortunate to say not a single thing went “wrong” or was different than what I planned. Thank you Thirteenth-moon for all of your hard work and capturing our special day.

Rachel and Bill restored our faith in photographers. We were married in April of 2011, and the photographer we chose for our engagement photos and for our wedding day was disappointing to say the least. We can't redo our wedding day, but we can redo our engagement pictures! We found Rachel and Bill and I was nervous that everything would turn out rushed, and low quality with bad angles just like before. I can't put into words how great our experience was! They were so friendly and knowledgeable that the session was fun from the start, which was an improvement already from our last experience!! The angles, the shots, the quality just blew my mind! They captured what I couldn't even ask for... I WISH we would have known about them for our wedding day, I can only imagine how much more they would have been able to shoot for us. They are efficent, friendly, and fun! Trust me... you want to hire them.

As a man, the idea of people following me for hours on my wedding day while they squawked commands at me and told me to pose in unnatural positions made me slightly ill.
However, I am very happy to report that Bill and Rachel of Thirteenth Moon Photography were a joy to work with and didn’t squawk even the slightest bit. They took incredibly natural photographs and didn’t force us to do anything that was out of our comfort zone (we are a very casual couple and would have just giggled at anything too “fancy-shmancy”).
Getting married at Walt Disney World means you have an almost overwhelming number of options for wedding photography and while there are quite a few that I would rate as being “very good”, I really haven’t seen any that are on the same level as Thirteenth Moon. They simply do terrific work and are a true pleasure to work with. If I am ever in need of more wedding photography – and I SINCERELY hope that I never am – I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.

There aren't enough adjectives to describe our experience with Bill and Rachel !!!!! They did the photography for my daughters wedding and it was more than we could have dreamed of. Halie had an outdoor wedding and we had dreams of some awesome sunset photos. Mother Nature had another plan. A monsoon right after the ceremony !! But, Rachel didn't panic. She actually got some sunset photos and some of the most amazing photos regardless of the rain. Now, that's professionalism at it's best !!! Kudos to Thirteenth Moon Photography !!! Wishing you many more years of awesome pictures:)

There's a good reason Thirteenth Moon receives one 5 star review after another...and that's because they truly deserve it! Actually 5 stars seem a bit inadequate given how fabulous they are.

Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions you will have to make regarding your wedding. Not only do you want someone who can take great photos (Rachel & Bill are AMAZINGLY TALENTED), but it is equally important they are people you feel comfortable around because they will be with you from start to finish. In addition to their great skill, they are the nicest people you will ever have the pleasure to meet. I can't imagine working with anyone else...and trust me I am a very fussy mother-of-the-bride. My daughter and I had met with several photographers and just didn't feel they had "it" but we were so sure Thirteenth Moon was "the one" that we signed with them on the spot.

And we aren't the only ones that felt this way, my son and future daughter-in-law signed with them after meeting them once. Their engagement photos were incredible and I know their wedding photos will be as gorgeous as my daughter's are.

When something is right you know it. Once you meet Rachel & Bill you will know what I mean. They are best of the best...and that is no exaggeration!!!!

BOOK THEM NOW!!!! Do not even think about it-just do it! They will make your wedding everything you dreamed it would be!!!! We met with Bill and Rachel then left to "talk" about if we wanted to book them and as soon as we walked out the door we looked at each other and said, "Let's do it". From that moment-we never looked back! Rachel and Bill showed up early on the wedding day and started shooting before I turned around. They were there for every special moment capturing it and making it look even better than it did in real life. We were beyond blown away by the photos we have seen so far! It really does look like our real life fairytale. My Husband and I left at 5 AM the next morning for our flight and we were so bummed we wouldn't get to see the sneak peek photos until our return so Rachel posted about 5 that NIGHT and we woke up at 2 AM just staring at them in AWE!!!!! My family and friends have all asked where I found these photographers and talk about how AMAZING our pictures are. We love Bill and Rachel and are beyond certain they will be there for maternity shots, newborn pics, and everything in between for life ahead.......... as we KNOW they will not dissappoint. Our photos are truly our fairytale day and if there was one thing we would change- it would NEVER be our choice of booking them. :)

Bill & Rachel were an absolute pleasure to work with for both the engagement photos & our wedding photos. We were able to see a preview of our wedding photos the night before we left on our honeymoon. Alesie & I were just amazed with the preview pictures which they captured of our wonderful wedding and cannot wait to see the rest of the photographs. All of our family and friends cannot stop talking about how amazing our wedding preview photos look and we have referred quite a few friends that have already or looking to book them in the future. From the initial meeting, we knew these were the perfect photographers for us. Bill and Rachel kept things fun, and relieved any stress we had on our wedding day.They also helped save the day with referring us to a videographer a few weeks before our wedding, after our booked videographers went bankrupt and folded.

Do not look anywhere else for photography services. Book them now before your wedding date is not available!

First piece of advice...call them, set up a consultation and book them right then and there...and if they don't have your date available, CHANGE your date so you can have them! Rachel and Bill were the BEST decision we made in our wedding planning. From the initial consulation, they made me feel so comfortable and I could tell they were REAL people who cared deeply about what they did. I could tell that from the start and booked them that night.
They are very quick to answer questions you might have along the way about ANY part of the wedding, which puts any bride at ease! Once my husband met them at the engagement shoot he knew why I fell in love with them after the first meeting. Rachel and Bill actually got my husband to smile FOR REAL, rather than the fake smile I usually get from him =) They are SOO fun and make every situation a little less stressful.
The wedding day was perfect!!!!! They are very quick to get pictures posted. We couldn't have asked for a better experience...and we gained great friends. Thank you so much Rachel and Bill, we truly appreciate all of your hard work and we had a blast!

We were very picky about photographers for our outdoor wedding and indoor reception but we didn't have to worry with Thirteenth Moon. They had so many affordable packages that allowed us to cover our whole wedding as well as a Bridal Session in replacement of a Engagement session (since we'd already had one). Bill and Rachel were so organized! I never had any doubt that anything would be forgotten or left out and in the end our pictures were amazing. They captured all the best moments without feeling like they got in the way at the wedding. I hardly noticed them most of the time. We got all our pictures on a CD as well as a link to an online viewing gallery that we could send to friends and family. I would definitely recommend Thirteenth Moon to anyone looking for wedding photography.

Our daughter's wedding was held on June 29th at the Hyatt Regency Grande Cypress. We had a good feeling when we first met Bill and Rachel Bolen over a year ago. At the wedding, they did their thing in a professional manner and went above and beyond! Rachel even helped my daughter fix her dress! During the cocktail hour, they were sure to get the family photos quickly so that we could enjoy the party. During the reception we saw them take countless pictures while remaining "invisible." The best part happened the day after the wedding when we were pleasantly surprised to find 40 sample pictures from the wedding online. The pics were fantastic and our friends could not stop raving over the quality and artistry of their work. We were bowled over and we can't wait to see more. My experience with Thirteenth Moon could not have been any better than it was! Rachel and Bill are awesome, responsive, helpful, fun, and talented. The quality of the professionalism and the quality of the photos are second to none and unbelievable for the price, because they are affordable. Having Rachel around was like having a friend around. She was there to make sure I was fine and was totally involved and easy to talk to. When I first spoke to her she told me that she likes to be organized and efficient. She certainly was. It was a hot day and she and Bill wasted no time getting our formal pictures in so that our elderly family members could go in and enjoy our cocktail hour. They are a great team and my husband and I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality and greatness!

Book them. Book them right now. Get off this website and call them immediately before they don't have your date available because they are too amazing and someone else realized it before you.
Bill and Rachel were absolutely incredible. As soon as they showed up on the wedding day, I knew everything was going to be fine. They made me laugh and took some gosh darn fabulous photos. They make you feel comfortable and are great at wrangling family members so that you can get through those formal photos and get to the fun stuff!

Leading up to the wedding they were always prompt in replies and even reached out to us a few times to check in. I recommend these two will my whole heart and will definitely be using them for all my future photography needs. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!
