We had a great experience with Neil as our Dj for our wedding! He was super understanding and flexible with the schedule. He was for changes that happened in the moment. He was very kind and we are so grateful for him being our dj for our wedding!

So much fun!
Neil was fantastic! I honestly felt like I didn't know what I was doing when trying to create the timeline because it was just a reception instead of a ceremony + reception, but he made it so easy for me! Especially when I had a million songs on my list and we had to narrow it way down. Neil and his assistant came early to set up, played music while we set up, and had everyone on the dance floor basically the whole night! He even stayed 2 hrs later than the scheduled time because my friends and I didn't want the part to stop, ha! Great experience overall, highly recommend!

Great music at our celebration
From start to finish, Neil was professional. His portal was easy to use and kept all the event timeline info with specified music organized. Music was curated well for the ceremony and reception with all our favorite songs being played. Overall cost for the DJ services was very reasonable. Would recommend him for anyone’s wedding celebration or other special events!

We had an incredible experience with our DJ, Neil, from They're Playing Our Song! From the very beginning, Neil was incredibly communicative, making sure we felt at ease and that everything would be taken care of. He took the time to ask questions and had several clarifying phone calls with us, making sure we were all on the same page. He is so down-to-earth and he was a joy to work with—genuinely one of the nicest people! It was easy to show up wedding day and not even have to worry about Neil. He had everything ready to go!
Neil not only helped the night flow so well but also knew exactly how to liven up the party. Our guests had an amazing time. Plus, his services were surprisingly affordable, which was such a relief given the stress of wedding planning.

Didn't want the night to end!
Ya'll, Neil was absolutely amazing! He loves what he does and it really shows! He was extremely accommodating and was able to switch gears basically on the spot! Our reception ended up being one for the books and non traditional - I mean, who has their parent dances right before the send off?! Neil from They're Playing Our Song was my lead choice for our reception event. He took the time to meet with us on-site twice before the event and with our coordinator. I felt like we were in good hands with Neil which is comforting when you have a so many potentially stressful things going on. As for the event itself, Neil engaged the crowd adapted to some the ideas we brought tot the table and everyone had nothing but great things to say. Amazing Night!!
Neil was absolutely the best DJ that I have ever heard. He did an amazing job with the music, lights, special effects, and just about anything else that we asked (or didn't) ask of him! He definitely went above and beyond his call of duty during the day. He got there with me and my girls that morning and was there with us all day long. He helped us a do a quick rehearsal and played music for us while we were getting ready. He made sure that every detail was perfect and even grabbed someone to hold my train up while I was walking down the aisle so I did not drag all the leaves with me as I was walking. He took the time to talk to us and give us exactly what we had dreamed of...OUR DREAM WEDDING! He kept our guests entertained during a couple of long intermissions that always happen at weddings, and our guests never missed a beat. Everyone was on the dance floor all night long. I even had a lady tell me the next day that her hip was sore because of all the dancing she did the night before. If you want an excellent DJ and wonderful person to boot we highly suggest that you call Neil! He is reasonably priced and believe me you will get much more than you pay for and more than you could have ever hoped for!

Absolute Best DJ!!!
DJ Neil is one of a kind! He was so easy to work with and made my wedding an absolute dream come true. He was super easy to talk to, extremely friendly, and went the extra mile to always answer a call text or email. We both worked together on my song playlist, and it turned out amazing. He had a great website link where I was able to pick all of my songs. I told him what songs I wanted my wedding party to walk down the aisle to, the song for myself the bride to walk down the aisle to, we had a perfect cocktail hour playlist, and a relaxing playlist for the reception when we ate. And then the party really got started after. He included all of my absolute favorite songs and had really fun remixes to some. Literally everybody was dancing. My husband, myself and my stepdaughter danced all night long. The system he had was awesome with all the fun party lights. And he even had a separate setup for outside when the ceremony and cocktail hour was going on. And the system was so great that we could hear it when we were down by the lake taking pictures, so we still got to enjoy a little bit of the cocktail hours music. And at the end of the night, we needed to wrap up and do the send off, but he still played a few more songs for us that we requested. DJ Neil didn’t even live close to my venue, but made the effort to drive up to North Georgia for us. He was incredible and made my wedding amazing. I don’t know if people were just being nice, but they said it was one of the most fun and best weddings they had ever been to. Everybody was dancing and commented on how great the music was. Also, my name is Ashton and I loved that DJ Neil wore a black shirt with my name “Ashton” on it, which really is from a Cigar company, but I thought it was hilarious and super personable. Neil with They’re Playing Our Song, is one of a kind and I would recommend him to anyone. 10 out of 10 hands down. Thank you for making our wedding day the best day of my life!!!

Neil Brings the Fire
From our first phone call with Neil, we knew he was the best fit for our wedding DJ.
We aren't very picky about music and wanted a DJ who would keep the reception fun and high energy. Neil took the reigns and kept everyone dancing all night long. The lighting and effects really added to the overall vibe. The web interface allows you to select from a wide variety of songs to play should you so desire.
Neil provided a set up in three different areas of our venue for reception, ceremony and cocktail hour. The equipment was top notch and Neil arrived well before the event to set up and test everything so there would be no technical issues.
Neil was very communicative, answering the phone quickly whenever we reached out. He was also flexible in meeting at the venue to walk the space to discuss set up.
Do not hesitate to book Neil. He will keep the party going!

Awesome DJ!
We hired Neal to DJ for my son’s wedding. I cannot say enough good things about him. I was planning the wedding from a distance and did not have a wedding planner so I was a bit stressed. After speaking with him for the first time he completely calmed my nerves and took so many concerns off my plate. He was at the venue early setting up and stayed the entire day up until and through the wedding. Class act all the way. In today’s day and age there are so many wanna be DJs. Neal is the real deal and I more than recommend him. We don’t have any weddings on the books at the moment but when we do he will be the first call I make!

I hired Neil for my son Bar MITZVAH. First of all he was early at the venue to organize and test he’s equipment which was great.
Besides the fantastic music, he organized all kind of fun games especially for the 13 year olds.

Had an absolute blast on the dance floor!
Neil was so great to work with! We met him at a bridal show last fall, and knew we wanted to work with him immediately. He was responsive throughout the planning process and kept us on schedule all night, and everyone was on the dance floor right up until our send off!

Would Recommend Neil for any party!!!
Neil was the perfect DJ for our wedding reception! He did an excellent job of not only playing the right music but was a great MC to make announcements, keep the dinner line flowing, etc. Any special request that my Groom and I had, he went out of his way to fulfill! We had to have a tent due to the threat of rain. Unfortunately, the tent was undersized, so with all the dinner tables, that left a tiny dance floor area. After we were all done eating and the Bride/Groom dance was done, Neil announced the "special" event for the evening, the "Table Moving Ceremony!" Everyone chipped in to slide the tables out about 3 feet to allow room for dancing. Everyone thought it was a hoot! He took an awkward situation and made it FUN! I would recommend Neil to anyone looking for a lively event with a DJ with a good sense of humor!!! Thank you Neil!

Neil was an absolute blast and clearly the rooftop choice for our wedding!! He is very professional and makes sure to communicate with the couple frequently to make sure their especial day goes according to their wishes. I really liked the platform they use to create your wedding music where you can select specific songs for different parts of the night. He brought bubbles and support fun lights that really kept the party going! We had people dancing and having fun all night. It was truly a blast!!

He was always available to talk with us over the phone and responded to emails. He even drove 3 hours round trip to our walk-through with our coordinator when he didn’t have to. A Great Time
They're Playing Our Song was definitely one of the best parts of my brothers wedding. The fog machine, bubble machine, and lights were so much fun. Wonderful Experience
Neil was awesome, he played all the songs we wanted a d kept guest dancing all night. the cutting of the cake was so perfect this guys are the best you can find.

Professional DJ
More than i could have dreamed we had a photoshoot through them it was great, they played all great music my friends all were asking who this dj was and neil was so friendly at the reception and in our personal meeting a true pro like him.

Wonder Vibes from DJ

The event was great

Dj was great!
Our wedding has just passed and we have had nothing but compliments in regards to Neil! He was fantastic, he had my entire family up and dancing and having an amazing time. All of our guests were allowed to request songs and he played almost every song both my husband and I wanted to hear, and our guests. He is extremely friendly and will work with you day and night. I even made some changes last min and he didn't complain or fuss, he went right along with it. He was extremely reliable and whenever i sent him an email i would have a response within a few minuets or immediately the next day. Mark is also very affordable, which made our budget very, very happy! We had such a great experience with him, and even 3 days after the wedding our family is still talking about how much fun we had on the dance floor. Thank you so much, Neil! Lisa and David Standridge

Neil was absolutely the best DJ! We had so much fun, and he really kept the party going. He did the ceremony music and the reception, and it was everything and more than I could have imagined. He was great to work with and really helpful throughout the whole process. The guests also loved Neil, and said that our wedding was the best wedding they had been to in years (which had everything to do with Neil). Definitely would recommend him to anyone! He is the best! :)

Our daughter was married on October 17th. We were 'flying blindly' when it came to finding a DJ for the reception. The first thing to catch my attention was the professional look of their website. Needless to say, we were nervous about taking a chance with a company that was not coming from a personal reference. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed! The reception ran smoothly, he knew what needed to be announced when and played all the right music. Neil truly enjoys his job. Very personable, as my elderly mother-in-law was in a wheelchair and he visited her for a moment, donning a 70's wig and dancing! He tickled her funny bone and still talks about the man who came over and kissed her on the forehead!
The fee was worth every penny and we'd recommend him to anyone, in a heartbeat! Thanks again!

Great guy who knows his stuff. Followed our directions & suggestions of music choices. Knows protocol for all types of weddings including Jewish & Christian. Far exceeded our expectations with value for money paid!! Would definetely use again for another function!!

Perfect DJ
Neil is so easy to work with on all levels - timely check ins, schedule updates, confirming song list, etc. And he brings the music to life with a great set up and great sound system. Everything was perfect for the wedding reception. As an ecent planner, I look forward to working with Neil because I know the music will be great!

DJ Read the Crowd Well and Stuck to the Script
Neil was very easy to work with. His online app made it super easy for us to tell him what songs we wanted and what songs we definitely did not want him to play. It also let us be the conductors of our wedding in that we could tell him when we wanted things done and special notes and things to say during the reception. We were expecting a little more down-played reception, but when people started getting up and dancing, he read the crowd perfectly and knew exactly what to do. My only fault I found was that the speakers were turned towards the dance floor only, so none of the announcements were heard in the other room. The place we held the reception was very small, so I’m sure he did the best he could. Everything else was great. I would recommend!

Great DJ! Really made our reception fun!
Neil was very easy to work with and really made it a point to play the songs we wanted to hear, when we wanted to hear them. His web site made it easy to not only choose the songs we wanted but to also choose the ones we definitely didn't want! We didn't think our crowd would be huge dancers, but when they did start dancing, Neil knew exactly what to play to make everything fun! He even was able to find a karaoke version of a song so that my friend could sing for us. Neil really helped make our Reception a big hit with our friends and family!
